Vaguely aware of someone yelling at him to open his mouth and catch it, Clifford instinctively sat up and looked in the air. Catch wha-- AHA! What was this chunk of gooey mess heading straight for him like a meteor or something? He wasn't sure, and nor did he care. He wasn't about to ignore direct orders from Professor Vindictus and Clifford opened his mouth as wide as humanely possible, eyes glued to the flying gooeyness.
It seemed his mouth simply wasn't big enough however, and rather than catching it in his mouth, the gooey mess hit him clonk on the forehead instead, making stars pop up infront of his eyes. Oh bother. "Owwwww." He whined, wiping the mess from his face and licking his hand.
Couldn't let it go to waste now. Quote:

He waited for a brief moment with bated breath (literally!) and then spoke, glad that the air was apparently still breathable. "My father is my role model, sir. He is a HIT wizard and a true Southern gentleman of the highest regard, if I may say so... Born and raised in Louisana." he smiled as he spoke of his old man, whom he idolized. "It's my hope to follow in his footsteps and become a HIT wizard and then eventually move up to Wizengamot, with hard work and determination."
He paused. "If I may be so bold, I'm quite curious about your own background... Was it always your ambition to instruct young minds in History of Magic, or is this career path a new direction for you?" Quote:

If you know what I mean. Not like Wizengamot. Now that's a real goal there." Lord Borr settled for a toffee topped cookie and the set the entire thing on his tongue.
Another gas passing episode occurred, but where the last one lacked in smell, this one made up for it. Lord Borr took no notice. "I'm thinking you might be the right sort of chap to help me run this lounge. What do you say to that?" Quote:

He hoped Borr would just interpret the tears that he blinked back as him being touched by the honor of assisting him in running this gas factory lounge.
He inhaled slowly, testing the air. The worst of it had passed. Thank Merlin. He disregarded the slam against his old man, though he felt compelled to defend him a little- to do less would be unmanly of him. That was his pop, after all... "While I agree with you that Wizengamot as a far more ambitious goal, and one I plan to achieve... I must say that my father's defense that his role as Hit wizard is a lot more mentally challenging than it might seem-- though perhaps I explained his position poorly. He's a detective-level Hit wizard, so he works more directly with Aurors, using his wits instead of pure brawn." he smiled a little, thinking of Officer Jones. "As to your kind offer, I'd be more than honoured to assist you here in your lounge... How could I be of service?" Will said, retaining his composure --barely -- as another wave of Eau De Borr drifted past him. Just when you thought it was safe to breathe again... If the man was this flatulent on a regular basis, he'd have to learn how to do an invisible bubble-head charm to work here... But it would all be worth it if he could achieve his goals. Keep your goal in sight, Will ol' chap... he thought to himself, fighting the urge to toss his cookies. OMG!! I just about died laughing reading this!!

After RPing here for 4 years...I really shouldn't be surprised at this one's antics anymore, but: Quote:
The loud noise with a hint of wetness against the leather couches that came from his behind - that surprised him. The leather was surely magnifying the sound. "Lita's cookies. They always clear me tunnels." He chuckled and fanned himself and air around him.

Ok, so here's some hilarious Canna loving XD It's just a piece of a super long convo, right after they got into a fight, of course Sorry it's really long I cut a lot of it out Quote:

Joking? Hmm. Whatever. She listened to him talk for a bit, never once looking up from the chocolate frogs until he grabbed her arms and forced her to look at him. Even then, she tried to look away and stay mad, but suddenly, she burst into a small fit of giggles. "It's okay, Cale," she promised. "I understand." To make sure he knew she was good on her word, she reached up on her tippy toes and hugged him.
"I...I guess I should explain," she said. "Sometimes, I feel like I have the worst luck in the world when it comes to boys. A lot of them seem to only see me as a friend, and, yeah, I have to admit, that's all I see most of them as, too," she continued. She made sure to stress the word most, because technically, due to her little crush on a certain someone, she didn't see all the boys as just friends. "I just see everyone walking around with this dramatic love life, and I'm just the friend they come to when it all gets messed up...or when something really good happens."
She blushed a little, realizing she'd been a little too open with him. He'd come to her with problems about his and Cora's relationship earlier, and she didn't want him to think she wasn't there for him when she needed him. "But...there'll always be the boys that are welcome to talk to me whenever they please," she said, winking up at him. Merlin that was a little more flirty than she'd intended it to be. Quote:

"Sorry, I didn't know it was such a touchy subject for you," he explained. "Maybe I should just work on getting funnier, I dunno," he added. It really hadn't been that funny. Maybe not even to someone who wasn't touchy about the subject of boys. "You don't need to worry about guys. I'm sure someone out there will see you as more than just a friend someday," he told her.
He blushed. Maybe he shouldn't have gone that far. Especially after she winked at him. Was she...flirting with him? He wasn't sure...but he was pretty sure that if she was, he didn't care.
ARG! He was so confused. Thank goodness he had talked to Bella earlier, or his brain might have exploded due to pent up emotions.
"So, how's your candy?" he asked, changing the subject. Oh lordy, he hoped Jason didn't show up right about now...he would never let them live their little conversation down. Quote:

"Yeah, I think Mister Pref...Mr. Right is out there somewhere," she said. "Besides, I just might have a crush on this one boy." Of course she knew who that one boy was, but she intended to just leave it there. She only brought it up because she didn't want Cale to think her love life was at zero.

"Oh really?" he asked, standing up a later straighter. Oh. So she had a crush on someone. He was slightly disappointed. Well, what were you hoping for Cale? That she would admit that she had a crush on you? Pssh. Like THAT'S likely.
But he figured that he could still tease her a little bit about it. Smiling slyly at her, he asked her, "So, is it a guy that I know?"

"You just may figure it all out one day," she said, answering his question about her little crush. "But for now, you'll just have to stick to teasing me about it." She laughed at that, thinking about what he'd do if he ever did figure out who her mystery boy was. Quote:

"And I'm serious," he said, trying to make a serious face, but it didn't work and he just ended up cracking up anyways.

Maybe he could get a few ideas about what to do with his relationship with Cora.
"Can I guess who it is?" he asked, perking up a bit. This could be fun!

Anna didn't mean to, but she laughed out loud at the irony. One day, when she felt comfortable telling him, she'd have to explain why she'd laughed out loud just then.
"Thank you, Cale," she said. "You've really made me feel a lot better. I was started to think there was something wrong with me or something. It's just SO like me to have a crush on someone who doesn't like me back. That was really sweet of you."
She thought about that for a minute and then had to add, "But that doesn't mean I'm about to spill all and tell you who he is." She winked at him again. Boy, she was getting good at that winking. She'd winked at him twice in the past ten minutes. "I don't think you'll ever guess who he is, but you can sure try!"

Girls really WERE loonies!
"Well, that's just me," he said with a grin. He leaned back a little bit, leaning on a display of Licorice Wands. He ran a hand through his hair, trying to be all cool and sauve (but really he got a finger or two tangled in his curls) and said, "I'm just sweet like that," with a wiggle of his eyebrows.
"Hmmm, is it...Shel Ambrose?" he asked. "He's in a relationship at the moment." Oh yes, this was loads of fun. He loved teasing her! Quote:

She watched as he leaned back onto the candy display, smiling just a little as she noticed that his hands got stuck in a few tangles in his hair. She really loved the way he was so clumsy and simple things like getting his hands caught in his hair while trying to be cool were a problem for him.
"Shel, who?" she asked. "I don't think I know him. Oh, wait! Yes, I do! Sarah's boyfriend!" she exclaimed. "No, it's too obvious that he's with Sarah. With this boy, it's kind of confusing as to whether he's really with this certain girl or not." Quote:

He caught her looking at his hand--caught in his hair--and blushed. Why were stupid things like that always happening to him around Anna? Like not having his prefect badge stay on, or tripping and falling into people...if Anna was there, something like that was bound to happen eventually.
"Oh, well then, let's see...is it that one Chris guy who hangs out with Jason a lot?" he asked, trying to think of other guys off the top of his head. He was just getting started in his teasing of her. She had no idea what was coming for her! Quote:

"Ewww, Chris?" she asked. "I mean, he's a nice guy and all, but isn't he like twelve-years-old or something? I don't think so, Cale." She smiled at him, thoroughly enjoying this little guessing game. "Why don't I try to guess something about you now? Let's put you on the spot for a while!" Quote:

He stopped for a few seconds before bursting into laughter. "No, I'm just kidding! Alright, you want to guess something about me? Go ahead, I don't mind being put on the spot," he told her. After that, he chuckled again.
Ok, someone has had too many jelly slugs. Quote:

"I think it just might one day be more than a little crush...at least, for me. It would be an added bonus if he felt the same way, though." Oh, how she was loving this!
"Is it, you?" she innocently asked. "I thought you wouldn't guess him and here you go proving me wrong! Game's over, you won!" She looked up at him with a mischievous glint in her eye, waiting for him to go berserk. "Kidding, Cale!" she said, before he had the chance to bolt and run. "I'm kidding with you, of course."

One Gryffindors tryout Session with Captain Chosen! Quote:
Gwen and Cale began to fight for the quaffle. Cale let go of the ball getting distracted by Anna and Gwen flew too the hoop and scored again. "Cale pay attention!" Alexis called out snickering.
Quote:
Anna and Cale were neck in neck. Anna grabbed the quaffle but then it slipped from her hands as she took a look at Cale. Seeing this as an advantage Cale grabbed the quaffle and scored. "Anna pay attention! You can flirt with Cale later, now is Quidditch time!" Alexis called out.
Quote:
Listening Gwen speed up and got the quaffle. Anna reached in and almost stole it when Cale lost control of his broom and smacked into Anna and Shayna. Gwen made her way past the collision and scored.
Quote:
Cale raced for the quaffle when his broom started acting up again. Before he could get it to work Anna grabbed the call and scored. "Cale! You need a better broooom." Alexis said in a sing songish voice. "Nice one Anna."
Quote:
Both Anna and Cale raced for the quaffle. Cale got the ball and...gave it over to Anna? "Oye! There is no sharing in Quidditch...well there is...just not the tryouts!" Alexis yelled at Cale as Anna scored. Silly prefect.
Quote:
Gwen got the quaffle and raced off toward the hoops when the ball slipped from her fingers. Cale; who was right behind her grabbed the balled and scored. "What's up with you people and dropping the quaffle? Do you guys have too much lotion on yous hands or something?" Alexis asked confused. "New rule! No lotion on your hands before tryouts!"
Quote:
Allie grabbed the quaffle and sped off toward the hoop when she dropped the quaffle so close to the hoop. Anna picked it up and scored. "Nice try Allie, Mrs. Newell is hard to beat though." Alexis called.
Quote:
As Cale scooped up the last quaffle for the day and put it threw the hoop Alexis went after the ball as it fell. "AWESOME job today you guys I was really impressed. Just a couple of notes. Cale get your broom checked out. Anna no flirting during tryouts. Allie try not to drop the ball so much...and everyone remember!!!! No lotion on your hands! Have a good day!" Alexis called out as she speed down toward the ground.
Dani had waaay too much fun with that! LOL Never a dull moment with Alexis!

Not only did he get drama ... but the second most BLEH thing seemed part of the package too. A hug. But not any old hug. Oh no. The worst possible type of hug that exsisted. Just Clifford's luck.
A hug from the one and only dreaded Bone Crusher!!! EEEP!
Maybe this was it! She had finally decided to attack and this was her weapon for crushing bones. Gah! He wanted to see Evangeline one last time before dying! Life was so cruel!
His hands remained clenched into tight fists by his sides throughout the whole ordeal, and he wondered when the flashbacks would start. But wait. Bone Crusher had stepped back.. well, it kinda seemed like that mean kid had dragged her away but still.. Clifford was still breathing! Hurrah! "Uhm - I ... Erm. It's nice to see you again too." He said quickly, clearing his throat nervously. "And it's great that you brought your .... nice friends along too." He huffed, with a glance at Mister. Bully. Quote:

Weird. You'd say that Clifford would be in his best mood, since he was surrounded by food right now.
And then again, Sherlock was touching her. Grabbing her wrists, to be exact. Urgh, how she hated physical contact, and Sherlock seemed to be quite fond of that. First touching her hair and holding her hand on Diagon Alley, and now grabbing her wrists here. "I still don't know what a Robot is, Sherlock" Willow said, using a neutral tone of voice, before adding, "And what is that supposed to mean, eh? Contagious? You are not sick or anything, right Clifford?” He better not be sick; the last thing Willow wanted was to get sick. Eww. Diseases. “And would you please let go of me, Sherlock?” Willow said, exasperated, eyeing both of his hands on her wrists, “I don’t like when people touch me” Quote:

Perhaps he should go too? The thought did cross his mind. Many a time.
He didn't have a clue who robot was, but turned to back to Bone Crusher, frown still in place. "I'm not sick, no. I think your friend here is just delusional." He said looking at the interaction between her and Mister. Bully with mild interest. Holding hands? Snuggle?
"I think I'm about to barf." He choked out, grasping at his stomach. GROSS MUCH? "Well, Mister. Bully and Bone Crusher. I must say, you make quite a magnificent couple." Quote:

This was kind of getting funny. Actually. He was entertained by this Cannibalist guy.
"Oh man, go barf the other way. I don't want your flying chunks getting my shirt dirty --- wait," Gav opened his eyes wide. "You think me - and - her? No. WAY. Dude, you got it wrong," Gavin shook his head.
Ah. But wait. "Oh. Wait. OOOH. I see. You're jealous. That I can get ladies, aren't you? Don't worry, I'm sure you'll get somebody." Quote:

And then—Cilfford said something that made Willow’s eyes open widely. Magnificent couple? Couple? She and Gavin? HA! “No way. We are not a couple” She stated firmly. Being a couple involved dating, and dating was something that didn’t exist on Willow’s dictionary.
“I certainly didn’t!” Willow retorted, glaring at him. However, when Sherlock mentioned snuggling later, her eyes opened in horror, and all the little courage that she possessed, quickly vanished.
Ducking behind Clifford, and using him as a shield, she retorted quietly, trying to sound stern, but failing rather miserably “No, thank you”.
Snuggling. EW! Quote:

Trust Bone Crusher to choose a guy like this. It was a match made in Heaven really.
But what was this? He'd apparently got it wrong? One eyebrow raised suspiciously now, Clifford continued eyeing the two. "What? You wanna add in denial to the list too now? For good measure?" Holding hands and snuggles, anyone? It seemed they were both in denial. Bless.
"Jealous of you?” He snorted cruelly and shook his head. “Jealous of you my backside.” Getting the ladies? He was more than happy with Evangeline, thank you very much. He was sure this dude would have something to say if he happened to mention just how happy with her he was though, and was smart enough to keep his trap shut. "If that means being like you? Eh. I'd rather eat dragon dung."
And then Bone Crusher was hiding behind him. Actually hiding behind him. Okie Dokie. “Whatchoo hiding for? Don’t you wanna go snog your boooooyfriend?” Quote:

"Then you better get ready to be eatin' lots of poop," Gavin retorted. "'Cause theres no options for being like me. There's only one Gavin. Me," he smiled smugly.
When Willow hid behind Clifford, and Clifford made that remark, Gav rolled his eyes. "And you say I'm deaf.." Quote:

“Snog? Snog? GROSS!” If it wasn’t because she was using Clifford as a shield, Willow might have poked him, “Don’t be ridiculous, Clifford. We are not dating why would I snog him?” Seriously, her day had gone from good, to just plain weird and absolutely awkward.
“You heard him! He’s got a girlfriend!” Thanks Merlin that Sherlock was for once being helpful. The only thought of having a boyfriend made her shiver. Quote:

Clifford was barely able to pay attention now, but he couldn't deny, the Gavin and Willow snogging thing was pretty hilarious. With a snicker, Clifford sidestepped so he was no longer being used as a human shield. "C'mon, pucker up. GavGav wants a haaa-uuuuuuuge smoochy woochy. Oooooh. One second. He understood now. Understood perfectly. He had followed Bone Crusher in here! Rawr!
The smirk that had crept to his lips, vanished in a second however, at Gavin's next comment. Clifford like Bone Crusher? Oh dear Lord. The thought alone was enough to turn his face a light shade of green. Disgusting! EW! EW! EWWW!

He would be until his dying day.
Maybe he should stop the teasing now? She looked pretty angry. He was too young to die. XD That was long, but it made me crack up laughing. AHAHA CLIFFORD.

The minute she stepped up near enough to the boggart, she saw it change shape... to Professor Vindictus, handing off her much desired quidditch cup to ANOTHER captain. Trembling, the seventh year tried to think of the most funny image that came to her. Pointing her shaking wand at the boggart, she shouted, "Riddikulus!" Almost instantaneously, the frightening image of Boggart Vindictus warding her quidditch cup off to another captain transformed into...

Because everyone went all mushy over this, and truly, ITSSOSHWEET! <333
Sos, for background
Tancred is dating Lindsey, but Kingston loves Lindsey, and Lindsey loves Kingston (but she doesn't realize it yet) and Tancred loves Amelia, because they were in love before they broke up and he hooked up with Lindsey and now Lindsey walked in just as Tancred was declaring his passionate love for Amelia, while still dating Lindsey, and Kingston is behind her, and Heath was just there cuz hes that cool xD. Get it? Oks Quote:

Maybe ... he could help them see that they are better off together than he and Lindsey. He loved Amelia. He always had, but then he fell for Lindsey. It was Kingston that had snapped him out of it; he loved Amelia and was terribly sorry for everything he had done. To Amelia, to Lindsey, even to Kingston. He was just a stupid git!
Then time itself seemed to stop. He could stop looking away from Lindsey. He merely shook his head in disappointment. Not at Lindsey, but at himself. Look at what he had done. He was a monster! A greedy monster. Thankfully he knew that it wasn't too late ... it was never too late. He could make everything - if not completely better - close to being a whole lot better. It was the least he could do. Everything about this was his fault. All of it.
He then looked at Kingston. He couldn't imagine what he was thinking right now. He had used his best friend as a tool to get to Amelia. But ... it was complicated. He sighed and took in a deep breath. He might as well tell them everything. Not just that he was a greedy monster, but more. He placed a hand up to silence them all. It was his turn to talk whether they liked it or not.
He then looked at Amelia. He gave her a look that was one that she had probably never seen before. It was one of sadness, guilt, and even more than that. His ocean blue eyes were twinkling, but it wasn't the same. He had gotten himself into this mess; now it was time to get out. He then faced Lindsey and walked toward her.
Before he spoke, he grabbed hold of her hand. He knew that this was probably going to make everything worse, but he had something in mind. Maybe it would help the two of them see something they never saw before. He had seen it, even though Kingston - Lindsey would probably do the same - laughed and said that they were only best friends. "I'm sorry," he said, reminding himself to breathe. "I know that I've hurt you so much. But there is a reason why I'm doing this now ... rather then later. ..."
He continued to hold her hand, but he knew that the time for that would be over. He smile weakly at her and continued on, "I was a git. A big one too. I was just being stupid by thinking that I could get Mia back by making her jealous by kissing Lindsey. I was wrong. It might've made her jealous, but I noticed something that I thought wouldn't happen. I fell in love with you, Lindsey.
"Yes, I fell in love with her. I was not only in love with her, but with Mia as well. Even though I was in love with both, I chose Lindsey. Mia said that we should move on, and so I did. That was until I realized that there was more between this connection between you, Lindsey, and Kingston. ... Even though Kingston probably didn't mean it, he said that I was Lindsey's messenger. That I was just looking out after him for her. And Kingston was one of the main topics we always seemed to discuss. I might be wrong, but I think there's more than being 'just best friends' between you both, Lindsey and Kingston."
He paused and looke from Lindsey to Kingston. Then he looked back at Lindsey, his hand still holding hers. "That was when it clicked. I realzied that you two had this connection that was better - more fit - and that I truely belonged with Mia. I realized that I shouldn't be with you, Lindsey. I believe that you would be better off with Kingston than me. ... He knows you better than I ever will. I didn't want to be in the middle of this," Tancred said, holding her hand firmer he lead her to Kingston and placed her hand in his. He didn't know whether they were going to rip his head off for it, but why should they hide it?
"I know that you two never really saw it, but I'm sure I'm not the only one that does," he said, taking his place next to Mia. "I know that I made things worse by getting in between you. I wouldn't have thought ... until now." He looked at Amelia and then back at Kingston and Lindsey. "I'm doing this for the greater good. ... Lindsey, you belong with Kingston. I know that I was there for you, but I'm not for you. ... I do care for you. That's why I'm doing this. You're better off without me as your boyfriend. You're better off with the one who has known you longer than I have; who has a much better connection with you than I do. That person, is the one you're holding hands with now."
He looked at the two and then back at Amelia. His eyes kept on going back and forth between them. Then he had decided his last few words to say before he let them decided who would take care of him first for doing such a thing. He would deserve everything they would decide to do to him. "I've done too much damage. I just hope that this helped. ... I'm sorry."

Kingston didn't want to end up jumping on someone and getting hurt in the end. He'll look bad, then.
His left eye gave an obvious twitch once he heard Lindsey's whisper. What?! She was a tool for Tancred?! Kingston felt rage fill him and he was about to jump on the boy, but held himself just for Lindsey's sake. He wouldn't want her to pull him off of the boy. Or, to be more realistic, pull the boy off of him. And besides, he had to stay strong for her. Instead, Kingston glared daggers at the older boy, hoping he'll regret every bit he had done.
Kingston's gaze then shifted to Mia. It was hard to do so, but it was done. He glared at her. How could she let HIM do that to his Lindsey?! All this time they were both pawns in Rose and Adara's silly game. Kingston and Lindsey were tools. Well, mostly Lindsey, but he felt for her. He didn't want her to feel like something less than she already was. She was more than a pawn. Much more.
His gaze once more turned to Adara. What does the boy want now?! Does he want to stomp on her heart some more? Kingston was about to step in, to stop all of this once he held her hand, but instead he stood silently, listening to what the boy had to tell Lindsey.
Every word coming out of his mouth made Kingston angrier. His eye kept twitching in a worrying way. His fingers dug deep into Heath's shoulder, not really intending to hurt the boy, but he was trying to control his emotions. He didn't want to cause a scene by jumping at Tancred and biting him. That would be wrong. He gave another twitch when the boy confessed his love to her. What was this?! This was absurd!
Although, he seemed to calm down when Adara brought up Kingston. His tension was relieved a bit, but there was still some in him. He listened more closely now, wondering what he'll say next. After a few moments, his eyes widened. He was more fit to Lindsey? How could that be? Is that even possible? Yes, he did love her. He found out he loved her from their letteres, he just never thought it was possible for them to get together.
His throat felt like it was closing in on him once Tanc led Lindsey to Kingston and placed her hands into his. At that moment, he held onto her hands, not letting it go. What if he said was true? True, Kingston hated the boy with passion, although, what if he said was true? Gulping, he looked down at Lindsey, hoping she felt what he was feeling. He knew that he was in love with her, but was she in love with him?
Kingston blinked at the boy when he apologized. When he told them he had done so much damage to what they were having. There wasn't even a relationship between them! They were just best friends! Best friends who stuck together like glue, who fought and bickered at the most silliest things, who worried over the other and...
Oh.
This was all too confusing. Kingston couldn't focus right now. His mind was fogged up and it couldn't let him think straight. Let Lindsey decide what will become of them. Kingston could just wash away those feelings he had for her. It'll take time, but he could do it if she wanted them to stay only as friends. Although, deep inside, he didn't want her to deny and reject him. He wanted her to accept her.
He wanted her to love him.

She could feel her eyes become irritated and blurry, and her cheeks were stained, but she at least wasn’t sobbing. Her eyes were filled with tears, but it was almost a reflex. She wasn’t aware of it at all.
She couldn’t see much past it all. She’d known it. She’d known she was a tool, she’d known she’d meant nothing to Tancy, to the Tancy she knew. It had all been for Amelia. It had all been for himself, everything, everything had been for himself. Because that was the man she hadn’t seen. She’d gotten herself caught up in something that hadn’t been real.
She barely heard a word Tancred said all along. Her thoughts were racing too quickly. She knew, she knew! She knew about Amelia, she knew what Amelia felt, and she let it happen! She knew, she knew what had happened before her eyes. She knew she didn’t belong, that she was always on the tip of his tongue. She knew, because she doubted and she questioned, and she’d stopped trusting. She knew, and she let it happen.
But why?
Her thoughts were racing, memory after memory overlapping and smashing together. She’d let it happen. How could’ve she let it happen? She knew about it, she knew about it all, so why hadn’t she stopped it? Why had she fought so hard to save it? There was nothing to save! She didn’t belong to Tancy!
Her hand was limp in Tancred’s, her stare blank. She didn’t see him, she didn’t see the world around her. Why. That’s what she kept asking. Why had she let it happen?
Why hadn’t she trusted herself? Why had she let it happen? Why hadn’t she given in, and let herself know that this was all wrong? She knew it was all wrong. She knew, deep down, she didn’t belong. She’d never belonged.
Why… why… why had she been so afraid? What was it about Tancred that had kept her slaved to him? What was it that she kept fighting to hold on to? Why hadn’t she trusted Kingston?
Kingston.
Kingston.
It rung in her head as clear as she’d ever heard anything.
Kingston. Kingston. Kingston. Kingston.
Of course. Kingston.
Kingston had been with her. She felt the air of reluctance when she was with Tancy, she felt the air that she’d needed Kingston’s approval. She knew she trusted Kingston beyond anything and anyone, she wanted him to know. She wanted him… she wanted him to tell her no. She had wanted him to tell her to leave Tancy. That’s what she had been waiting for.
She wanted… she wanted Kingston to care. She wanted Kingston to care enough to stop her. She wanted Kingston to see it too, to know her better than anyone, to know what was good for her and stop her. She wanted Kingston to realize for her, to know her, to understand her, she wanted Kingston to—
She wanted Kingston.
If Kingston had seen all that she had. If Kingston had gone deep enough to find her in this relationship, to see she was being trampled on, he would’ve stopped her. It would’ve meant he cared, that he wanted her, that he cared for her wellbeing. It would’ve meant he was serious about her, that she was his true friend that he wouldn’t have—
Of course.
That he wouldn’t have rejected her.
That was why. There was her shinning reason. If she stuck with Tancy enough, Kingston would’ve seen it, and he would’ve fought for her, and she would know. She would know. If he cared enough to fight for her, then she would’ve never been rejected.
Of course!
It all made sense now! Of course, of course! That was why she’d been so stupid! That was why she’d stuck to something that only made her feel worse and worse! That was why she was so miserable, why she insisted Tancy and Kingston have contact! She wanted him to see, she’d wanted him to know, she’d wanted him to fight!
And suddenly, it came with a crash that blew the air out of her lungs.
But he hadn’t.
He hadn’t fought for her.
He hadn’t stopped her, he hadn’t done anything to Tancy. He hadn’t told her what he thought, maybe he hadn’t seen it at all. He didn’t care beyond friendly matters, he hadn’t cared enough to stop her. He hadn’t cared enough to fight for her.
She’d been rejected.
And the painful force of that was stronger than she ever imagined.
She’d been holding quite still, eyes blank and dazed. Suddenly, her hand was in Kingston’s, she realized, and she looked up at him.
Oh God, he’d rejected her.
Her other hand flew to her lips, but it was too late. A choked sob left her lips, and before she knew it several more. Before she knew it she was running out, she was getting away, she needed air. Her best friend, her best friend, Kingston!
Kingston didn’t love her.

Kingston was delighted. Never was he happy. First he got to see Lindsey and then her boyfriend broke up with her. Not something he wanted to happen since her heart would be broken, but that meant he could have her all to himself.
She could be his.
Finally.
He was about to say something, but when he looked down, he saw tears in her eyes. Kingston was going to pull her into a hug and tell her that everything would be fine, but she pulled away from him, running into the street. What had just happened?! Why did she pull away like that?!
Was he... Was he rejected?
Kingston gawked at the door, speechless. What was he supposed to do now? He couldn't leave her like that all alone the street. He had to do something!
At that moment, it was decided. Shaking his head to snap himself out of whatever he was in, Kingston look back at Tancred and inhaled. "I'm not happy that you used her as a pawn. I'm not happy that you somehow manipulated her into loving you and convinced yourself to love her. For Merlins' sake I'm not happy!" Kingston told him truthfully. "But..." He paused hesitantly.
"Thank you for the push. Now if you'll excuse me. I have to find the girl I love and tell her that," he smiled, giving a nod to the both of them. Kingston then looked down at Heath and pushed him towards Amelia and Tancred. "You stay with them." He told the boy before dashing out of the room himself.
Kingston had to tell her he loved her.
She has to know. She just has to.

Kingston ran out of the store and into the street. Where had the redhead gone to now?! He ran from the store to the spot they met at and didn't see her there. He thought hard about the other places she would go to. Merlins, what if she went back to the girls school?! Kingston couldn't tell her he loved her in a letter! That would be unethical!
"Lindsey!" Kingston called out, not caring if people saw him. He needed to find her.

She didn't know how she could keep running. She was crying endlessly, choking on breath and her own sobs and to top it off, she was running. Her legs burned and ached painfully, but it wasn't long until her chest did too. She couldn't breathe if she kept this up. She couldn't breathe at all, actually.
She was forced to stop. In a rather clear part in the streets, Lindsey brought herself to a halting stop, breathing heavily and still, choking on sobs. She'd heard her name some few steps back, it wouldn't take long for him to find her. She’d stopped somewhere relatively clear, still crying, but no longer running. She was too tired to keep running, from every single thing.
“You don’t love me,” she whispered. She didn’t know if he was with her or not, or even if he’d seen her, or how far off he was. “You don’t love me. You don’t love me.”

There was a rather big distant between the two and Kingston looked at her, his blue eyes glistening with what seemed to be happiness. He smiled. It was a sweet smile, a reassuring one. He had never felt like this.
Suddenly, everything around them, the noises, the sounds, everything and everyone disappeared. It was only the both of them, Kingston and Lindsey. That's all he could see. She was the only one he could see. He never realized this before. But now he did. And Kingston couldn't be any happier.
She had been there through everything he had gone through. She was there to fuss over him. She was there to tell him off, to argue with him, to tease him, to let him have fun, to let him open up.
Merlins he loved her.
Covering the distant between them with three steps he brushed his knuckles against her cheek and gave a sweet chuckle. "You silly, silly girl," he whispered, brushing away her tears. "If I didn't love you, would I have followed you and called out your name in the street? If I didn't love you would I have constantly owled you?" he asked her, pulling her closer to him. Looking into her eyes, his own twinkling, he smiled. "If I didn't love you... would I do this?" He asked. But before she could even reply, he leaned down and kissed her.
He would be lying if he said he didn't dream about this moment. He would be lying if he said that he never stayed up at nights thinking about her, wondering what she was doing, was she okay.
He would be lying if he said he didn't love her. Because he did.
Kingston loved Lindsey.
He simply loved her.

And despite the fact that he didn’t love her, that he had never fought for her, it did make her feel better.
She felt him come closer, and she brushed away tears to see him clearly. His blue eyes shone remarkably, much clearer than anything else she was seeing around her. And they mesmerized her.
It was surprising that spite of it all, she almost laughed as he called her silly. Of course he’d go off and say that. She didn’t reply, she didn’t think she was able to, but she was instantly aware of what he was planning. He said it in his eyes, in the way his hands brushed away her waterfalls of tears. And then he didn’t need to say anything at all.
It was a tender kiss, and it meant so much more than the one her memory had stored when she was fourteen. He didn’t need to say a thing more because everything was suddenly sparkling clear. He did love her. It was impossible to deny, it was impossible not to see her.
Unfortunately, the thought had the worst effect.
She laughed.
She laughed against his lips, that same bubbly and giddy laughter she’d shared with him when she’d first seen him that afternoon, that felt millenniums away. She was happy, and she laughed. She laughed, her arms clinging to him in a hug again. “How did we manage this?” she laughed, holding onto him tightly. “How did we manage to be so silly, so blind?”

He blinked once she laughed against his lips, although, he laughed along with her after a few moments. He was happy. They were happy. But more importantly, she was happy. And that's all he cared about right now.
Clinging onto her, he rested his chin above her head and shrugged. "I'm not silly. You're the silly girl, remember?" Kingston asked with a small smile. "But I have been blind. All this time you were in front of me and I couldn't see that. I'm sorry for being so blind, so arrogant, so ridiculous for not realizing this any sooner. I love you," he whispered the last bit, kissing the top of her head and holding her closely.

She smiled as his chin came on top of her head. She'd never realized they fit like that. She hugged him, still crying because tears seemed impossible to stop. She stayed like that, tucked in close with him, a smile on her lips. "Fine, then I'll be silly and you'll be blind. Because I knew, I knew what I wanted and I was too silly to admit it. I knew I loved you and I was too silly to tell you," she whispered, agreeing with him whole heartedly, and laughing at herself a little more.

"You were always silly. You've always been my silly girl. You should know that," he whispered back with a genuine smile. "And I have been blind for not seeing this. If you were the type that would give up, I would probably be lost. Now I feel... I feel happy." Kingston told her, pulling back to look down on her. "For the first time in a very long time, I feel happy and it's all because of you. You make me smile. I've realized this. You make me laugh, you make me smile. You even make me melt. I never thought it was possible, but it is."
"You made me fall in love with you. And I couldn't be any happier with that."

She’d forgotten everything and everyone. Wasn’t that the point? Didn’t she want someone who would make her forget everything other than she belonged to and with him?
She smiled, molding into his chest as she stayed tucked underneath his chin. She really was silly, and she deserved the title. At least, the added ‘my’ was nice. She smiled. Actually, she was beaming. She had fought and fought to be his friend, and this had been her ultimate purpose. For his happiness, for his friendship.
She pulled back, her eyes shinning with pure love and happiness as he begun to speak again. The grin across her lips slowly begun to grow, and her eyes slowly begun to fill with even more and more tears. She found herself laughing again, filled with pure joy, and she kissed him again. Because she could. And she very deeply wanted to.
It went without saying all the things he did to her. All those wonderful giddy feelings, that happy rush that the world was a happy place, that everything was right. That she could be so happy, that she could smile so easily, that she could laugh as if it was breathing. And he did this to her. That giddy, happy, loving feeling.
“I thought it was impossible to make you happy,” she laughed, teasing him. She had to tease him, where would they be if she didn’t?

"I missed the baking class?" she asked, eyes widening in shock. How disappointing. "Well I suppose if you don't mind, then I could wait with you for the cookies. As long as you don't mind my singing, of course..." A slight smirk crept along the seventh year's lips, knowing full well the Potions Mistress enjoyed song. Quote:

About to resume her song that she was humming before, she gulped as she felt arms around her. Melita was hugging her! The Choir? Belle's had a choir? Was this some sort of joke? "I uh -" she paused a moment, trying to regain some self-control. "Sure... do we need to start recruiting then?"

Oh, this was just too exciting for words. This was the best thing to happen since... Well, since something that she wasn't able to think about or she might truly pee her pants. She took out her wand and tapped a spot on the Hufflepuff captain's robes. A badge saying "Belle's Choir Recruitment Officer" appeared there. Melita then took out a handkerchief, spit on it, and polished up the shiny new badge. Quote:

"Seems like I don't have much a choice," she murmured, but nodded in agreement that should help. Find the singers at Belle's; couldn't be too hard, right? "So where will we meet to practice? Think the house elves will mind singing... we could do it in the kitchens! Call it 'Baking and singing'!" she grinned at that thought... "Perhaps every Sunday, we practice. This way it won't interfere with our studies, which is the main reason for being in school, right?" Baking and Singing?? Seriously?

And as Alexis asked if Amelia had told him that she had said well done, Curt have a slightly guilty nod. "Thanks." he said with slightly red cheeks yet a broad smile all the same. Curt grinned slightly as he noticed that Quidditch was probably the last thing Alexis wanted to talk about at the time. It was then when Alexis told him that she had something very important to tell him. He eye's widened and he raised an eyebrow. "Uh, okay. What is it?" he asked curiously, knowing Lex... it could be anything. Quote:

And right as Alexis mentioned Savannah's name, Curt became even that much more focused on what was being sad. Not saying that he wasn't already extremely focused, because he was. Curt nodded as Alexis said that Vannah was acting weird, and said "Right," in almost a robotic fashion. Waiting for her to finish what she was saying. Lex stammered on, and Curt's pulse picked up as she said that Vannah was too scared to tell Curt. Curt's eyes were unblinking, and Curt waiting in silence as Alexis began to finish what Vannah had told her to tell him.
Right when she said it, Curt's heart lept and his stomach dropped. It felt funny, yet it felt oh so nice. Through the turmoils of Cooper's school, it was actually the very exact kind of information he had been wanted to hear. Vannah loved him! All throughout their first four years of Hogwarts Curt had known that he had liked Vannah, like her VERY VERY much, in fact. But it wasn't until this separation when Curt realized his true, and deep affection for the fifth year Hufflepuff Prefect, Savannah Mae. Everyone had always told kid's of his age that it was too young to love someone, and Curt disagreed. He loved Savannah back, more than he could tell Lex or ever describe.
Curt pressed his lips together, stuggling for words. He didn't know how to respond to that. Curt nervously looked back up to Alexis, and as he did he broke out into the biggest smile he had ever given. He looked like he had just won two million galleons or more. His face was beet red and his eye's were shining jubilantly. He settled down and shook his head, before looking back to Alexis. "Well, Lex." he said, with a nervous smile. "I honestly, am, uh-. Extremely relieved and extremely happy to hear that." he said, his heavy breathing and rapid heartrate finally settling down. "Because I am indeed, in love with Savannah as well." he said, the thought bringing a smile to his face again. There, he said it. He felt kinda awkward telling that to Alexis, but he had to say it. He had to. Quote:

Ocean blue eyes scanned over many faces and turned heads, not taking long at all to rest upon the particular blonde. "Good, she doesn't look annoyed" She murmured to herself, making her way through over to her friend, she noticed Lex wasn't alone once she was much closer, approaching them. "Sorry! Fell behind," Of course the first words out of her mouth was an apology for not being here at the time Alexis had requested. Quote:

Her plan had worked!!
Grinning as Savannah showed just in time on time or just behind time. Either way it worked it self out pretty good. "Vannah! Perfect timing." She said looking back and forth between both Hufflepuff Prefects. "You see I was just having a small chat with Curt annnnd.....somewhere in that chat it seems I may have told Curt thaaat you said you were ....inlovewithhim." Alexis said, saying the last part very very quickly. She needed to get out of here. "Which she didn't really tell me by the way Curt. I made all that stuff up. BUT Vannah you should be happy to know that Curt said he loved you back. Soooo I'll just head back to Belle's now." With that she jumed out of her seat and ran out of The Three Broomsticks so fast you would think she was on fire. Quote:

Surely she wasn't about to say everything right here... Curt took a gulp of his butterbeer to help wash down the lump in his throat.
Curt listened as Alexis began explaining everything to Vannah, and then his mouth fell open as she said that Vannah never said she loved him. Curt could have died of embarrasment right there, and he wanted to stand up and hex Alexis right then and there. When she finished telling Vannah that Curt himself had geniunely said he loved Vannah, his eyed Alexis with imploring eyes. Why would she do that?? he thought, still in a state of shock. All of these scenarious popped into his head just about as fast as Alexis fan out of the Three Broomsticks. What if that creeps her out and makes her stop liking me? What if she doesn't feel the same? What iff...what if? The what if's could go on forever, and Curt looked back up to Vannah with an empty feeling inside. He really did love Vannah, or he thought he did. Maybe he was too young to know love, but that feeling in the bottom of his stomach told him that he wasn't wrong. Curt pressed his lips together tightly in deep thought, and after failing at finding any meaningful words to say he just repeated what Alexis said.
"Well, it's true. What Lex said is, er- completely correct." he said, his face completely red. His eye's were still kind and caring, and he looked into Vannahs even though he found it extremely hard to. Quote:

Her mouth gaped slightly, eyes fixed on her best friend. She did WHAT?! Closing her eyes as it all began to sink in Savannah placed a hand on her forehead. Face burning brightly, she was very sure. What possesed her to do that? That wasn't random! That took planning, and if Dustin was involved.. he better hope he wasn't. That's all she could think; if he told Alexis they were both done for.
Repeating the words in her head, the fifth year realized Lex said she had lied to him. She had said that right? Wait.. Curt loved her back? The Gryffindor was out of the pub before she could find any words to say. It was alot to wrap her mind around, within minutes of arriving to the village let alone the three broomsticks.
Eyelids fluttered up, letting her ocean blue eyes come back into view. Still struggling with whether or not she could find her voice, Savannah tucked loose strands behind her ears, taking a deep breathe after realizing she was forgetting to breath. Glancing down at the chair she stood beside, she didn't sit. She wasn't even thinking about if that would be a better idea, she was attempting to figure out how to explain.
Remembering the day before with Dusty, the brunette could now say she was sure of what she told him. Yes, it was still confusing because she was still young being on fifteen, and people always argued how young was too young to be inlove, but really.. just like you didn't grow up by a certain age you didn't fall inlove at a certain age. It just.. happened.
Meeting Curt's gaze, a small smile appeared on her lips. She honestly wasn't paying attention to anyone else around them now, nor did she care if both of they're faces where abnormally red and others may have noticed this. "That's a big relief," She admitted quietly, nodding her head ever so slightly. "I may not be very good at telling futures or mind reading or whatever, but apparently Alexis is, and doesn't even realize it." Savannah began, stiffling a giggle. "She thought she lied; but it was actually true. I dunno how she did that, but she's right. I do love you," There WAS more but unfortunately Mia/ Jess had to RUIN the moment Thanks alot

She finds herself mouthing the word "Awwwwwwww" and giving him that dreamy look all over again. Of course he had his back turned when she did it, or else he just may have thought she was crazy had he seen what she did. She thought his clumsiness was absolutely, positively one of the cutest things about him. Oh, yes. Anna was becoming one of "those girls."
"Bleeding?" she nearly shrieked. "Cale! You could have had a concusion! Thank Merlin you didn't, but you could have." She playfully rolled her eyes, and then, noticing that he'd picked up a menu, she followed suit and did the same. Were they going to actually eat? Anna didn't know, so she decided to the safe thing - order tea. "You know what? I think I'll have tea," she said. "Now the question is, what kind should I get?" Quote:

He already had their...well, he had a bit planned out in his head, and he wanted things to go exactly the way he pictured them. He wanted to be the perfect date. For Anna.
He nervously ran a hand through his hair again. Should he have cut his sideburns for the occassion? They were getting rather long. It baffled him how he could grow such massive sideburns, yet it took him nearly 3 weeks to grow a mustache. Actually, he wasn't sure, he had never tried. He didn't think he would look too good with a mustache.
Blinking and realizing that his thoughts had strayed, he looked up at Anna again. It had gotten awfully quiet. Maybe he should talk. "So, how are things with you?" he asked. Quote:

That was actually a relief, though, because she'd been worried that he had really been hoping for a big meal and all she'd hoped for was tea. Anyway, all of that seemed to be settled now.
"Hmm, how are things with me?" she repeated. "Well, they're a lot better now," she said, looking up at him and clearly referring to the fact that this little date was exactly what had made things all better. "Actually, things are a little boring over at Belle's. Ever since the whole deal with the house points, no one ever really comes and hangs out in our Common Room anymore. It's always so deserted, Cale. Is that how your Common Room is? I guess I feel all alone sometimes, and I really, really wish we could combine schools and be together again. I just don't think I can go through another year of this," she explained. "Would you believe that I - Anna Greingoth - missed three classes lately?" She laughed a little and then hung her head. "I guess I should be truthful and admit to you that tonight does make things all better, though."
"Ugh!" she exclaimed, throwing her head back against the seat. "I must sound pathetic," she laughed. "Anyway, tell me, what have you been doing all this time? Tell me how life's been since I don't really ever get to see you." Quote:
Originally Posted by Lissy Longbottom "Our common room is ok. We pretty much just hang around and chat, mostly about girls," he added with a wink. Cale blushed and looked down at his hands, grinning in spite of himself. "Yeah, this pretty much makes things a lot better for me too," he said, looking back up at her again. "I'm just so glad that we finally got to do this, after all those months of having to hold everything inside," he added. Ok, that sounded a bit girly, but he didn't care at the moment. All he cared about was that he was finally here, with her, and that was when he made up his mind. He was going to go for it. Now was the perfect moment. When else might he get the chance to do what he had been dying to do for months?
Taking a deep breath and praying to Merlin that nothing screwed this up, he slowly leaned towards her. He was so scared right now--what if she didn't want to kiss him back? What if she thought it was too soon to kiss? What if he had freaked her out and she was about to run screaming from the room?
Well, he would never find any of that out, because at that moment, something horrible happened.
He lost his balance, and toppled out of his chair, mid-pucker. Then, like the true idiot that he was, he grabbed onto the table cloth to steady himself, which only led to him dumping a glass of water right on Anna's lap. It was all a big mess of white tablecloth, water, and silverware that came toppling down to the floor. He couldn't stop the fall, and landed with a soft thud next to Anna's chair, and he jumped up in horror when he finally realized what he had done. "Ohmigosh! I'm so sorry!" he exclaimed, grabbing a napkin. "Here, let me help you clean up!" he murmered.
Ok, this was it. It was official. This was the most embarrassing moment in Cale Newell's life. Ever. Nothing could top this. Not even the air guitar incident. Quote:
Originally Posted by MuggleBornWitch3 "Ugh, at least you get to hang out and chat. I still don't understand what happened to our Common Room," Anna said, a trace of sadness in her voice. "I want to go to school with you," she said, smiling a shifty smile at him. "We could talk all the time then! And I may even get into a pillow fight with all of you!" Anna giggled at her sillyness, although, she had to admit that if she were offered the opportunity to move to Cooper's right now, she'd have her stuff packed faster than one could blink an eye.
"I still can't believe this is really happening either," she replied. "I used to think all the time about how much I really liked you and how you'd probably never like me back. You have no idea how much this really means to me, Cale." Anna couldn't help to think to herself that she was probably embarrassing herself just a little, but she honestly didn't care about that at all. She'd realized the hard way that time with Cale was few and far between, and she couldn't afford to waste a single second with him.
And apparently he wasn't going to waste a single second with her either.
Anna's heart began to race at extremely high speeds as she watched Cale come closer and closer and closer towards her. Oh my gosh. A wave of panic ran through Anna. [I[What if I mess up? This is my first kiss! What if I don't do it right? Ugh! What if I do it all wrong? He'll probably never want to take me out again![/I]
Well, Anna never had to worry about any of that at all. It all happened kind of slowly in Anna's eyes. She'd seen a few muggle movies, and she knew that sometimes everything slowed down to a crawling speed so that the moment could be properly focused on. This moment was no exception. Just as Cale had finally made a pucker of his lips, everything within a close proximity started to slide off the table and tumble in all directions....including a full glass of water that landed right in Anna's lap. A cold glass of water.
Anna's eyes got wide as quaffles and her jaw dropped open. "Ahhh! Cold!" she quietly exclaimed, quickly removing a few pieces of ice from her skirt. Oh my gosh, it looked like she used the bathroom on herself! "CALE! Are you okay?" she asked, bending down to help him off the floor. When Anna noticed him jump up, she went to raise her head but only proceeded in banging it on the bottom side of the table, knocking to the ground the few pieces of ice that hadn't fallen before. "Ow!" she exclaimed, rubbing the top of her head.
Only Cale and Anna would have a first date like this. Quote:
Originally Posted by Lissy Longbottom "Oh no!" Cale exclaimed as she bumped her head. "Um, here," he said, handing her a napkin. He would have offered to help clean her off, but that didn't seem like a good idea right now. GAH! She would probably never want to go on another date with him again. They had only been on this date for...what, 30 minutes at the most? And he had already gone and made a huge mess of things!
"Sorry," he mumbled, helping her into her chair and then sitting back down in his chair next to her. "Are you alright?" he asked, looking at her head. "Oh no, you've got a red spot on your forehead," he said, gently taking his face in her hands and tilting her head to the side so that he could examine the damage HE had caused a bit better. Quote:

It's honestly no problem whatsoever, and if you remember correctly, I nearly stumbled and took you down with me outside just a few minutes ago. I'm okay, I promise. Are you okay?" she asked.
That was when he grabbed her face with hands and began to examine a red spot that she supposedly had adorning her face now. With him that close, she easily became one of "those girls" again. She drifted off into his eyes and got this silly grin on her face. "You're so perfect," she said, not realizing she'd actually said that aloud. Quote:

That was when she said it. She said he was perfect. He blushed and looked at his Converse once more. "Nah, I think that's just the bump talking," he joked, rubbing the back of his neck nervously. "It's not me who's perfect. You're perfect," he told her.
And then he felt it. In his heart. He knew that now was the right time. It hadn't been before, like he had thought. It was right now. Who knew the next time they would get to see each other? And they had just told each other that the other one was perfect. So, naturally, this was THE perfect time. He didn't even feel nervous about it anymore. His face wasn't red, his palms weren't sweaty, and his heart wasn't going a mile a minute.
Taking care to not lose his balance in the chair again, he slowly leaned forward, closed his eyes, and gently kissed her on the lips. Quote:
Originally Posted by MuggleBornWitch3 Anna gently patted her face where the red mark was supposedly at. "It's really okay. It'll just give me another excuse to think of you everytime I see it," she replied. Wow, did she just say that? Yes, she did! She'd just really realized that she was no longer nervous around him, and she honestly felt like she could say whatever she wanted to now. She didn't know when she would see him again, so there was no use holding anything back.
That was when he told her she was perfect. So she did say that aloud a few moments before. "No, you're perfect," she whispered back. This was turning into some sort of romance movie or novel of some kind it seemed.
And then, to top it all off, it finally frazzling happened. He kissed her! The best part was that no one fell or knocked anything over this time! No, that wasn't the best part. The best part was the kiss. It was just an added bonus that it actually happened with no castastrophes this time. Anna closed her eyes, leaned in, and kissed him right back. Surprisingly, she wasn't embarrassed at all. Sure, Cale Newell was perfect, but kissing Cale Newell was even more perfect. Quote:

"Wow," he chuckled once they broke apart. He gave her one last quick peck on the lips before finally pulling away for good. Kissing her had been just like he had imagined, only better. NOW his cheeks began to blush and he chuckled nervously again. Gah. He needed a book on how to date or something. Because now, he had no idea what to do. And then, Thorton had to come in and ruin things by shouting and being that LOVEABLE teacher all the boys at Coopers adore [/sarcasm]

"Stupefy!" THUMP
"Now... you lot say nothing. You know better than having a lot of people knowing about this meeting, don't you Will?" Kingston smiled, mischief twinkling in his eyes. "I suggest we keep this among ourselves, gentlemen. Judge me as much as you like, but we don't want a lot of people to know. Now.. down to business..."
"Argyle, Algamus and Beezley." Kingston called, looking back at the Ravenclaw he had stunned. "You wouldn't say a thing about this to a Professor. They are ministry men and only god knows if this boy was one of their snoops. As Will had said we need your help. We would greatly appreciate it if you helped us."
And then the blonde turned to Will saying, "I know you hate me right now. But to be frank, that doesn't matter to me. I'll take the boy and put him somewhere safe, obliviate him and wake him up."
With that, Kingston pointed his wand at the boy's body and murmured a spell under his breath. The boy was then lifted into the air. Kingston turned back to all of the younger boys and gave them a lopsided smile. "Goodday, Gentlemen." And with that Wendleworth walked out of the kitchens with the floating boy. Just because I amuse myself too much. Kingston... frightened me there a bit.

Ladies and gentlemen, take it from Neo. Passing notes leads to split ends. Quote:

She was very pretty and just like you, I was kind of shy and all that. I was very quiet back then. I lurked about...I hate spotlights. They annoy me, I mean like come on! Seriously, do we need to divert ALL our attention to one guy. I didn't think so, but anyways, back to my point, I really really really wanted to talk to her one day, but I couldn't get up the nerve to do it. So I started to write her a note and sent it to her, but she ignored it! I mean, of ALL the NERVE! I went out on a limb for her...so I did it again and then the teacher caught me and the spotlight was totally on me then...and so, the moral of my story is...has anyone ever told you that you have split ends?" All was said quickly in one breath. Wow, he had no idea how teenage girls managed to complete such a feat! Neo: Hey, split ends is a tragic thing, my friend.

What happens when you add together two Ravenclaw Quidditch players who don't get along, the Hufflepuff Quidditch captain, and a Hufflepuff who doesn't like one Ravenclaw and often gets squished by the other? I bring you... Courtyard Drama Part 1. Quote:

Now what was she doing in the courtyard? She had no idea. Once again, her feet seemed to have dragged her --because they seemed to have a mind on their own most of the times-- before she could stop it. The courtyard was so stupidly cold! Gah. Stupid feet. If it wasn't because she needed them to walk, and stuff, Willow would consider getting rid off them.
Suuuuuure. Not.
The third year Ravenclaw was about to place herself on the floor in one of the corners of the courtyard, when a very familiar blond hair caught her attention. It was the Rapunzel the bipolar badger.
Of all the luck in the world!
Right. Calm down, Willow.
She didn't have to talk to her. She could just pretend that she hadn't seen her. Or better yet, she could raise an eyebrow at the girl's direction, and then ignore her.
And so she did.
Heheh. Quote:

Oh. It was Willow Kovac - er, raising an eyebrow at her. Is she staring at me, or staring at the wall behind me and pretending not to see me? Punz thought curiously.
Well well well - she didn't have to play that girl's game. "HELLO, Willow!" Rapunzel said brightly, and plenty loud enough too. She even waved cheerily at the girl, a large smirk on her face. No way she could pretend to ignore Punz now. Quote:

Why did she always ended up stuck with people that was not sane? Why, for Merlin's Sake, why?! Once again, the God's were punishing her, Willow was sure.
Sigh.
"Rapunzel", she finally acknowledged with a nod at her. Ignoring her didn't seem like an option anymore. Rapunzel was mentally unstable, after all, and the last thing Willow wanted was to die in her hands. She was only fourteen! She was too young to die! She hadn't even been able to kiss someone, for crying out loud! No. There was no way she was going to die. Not in the hands of Rapunzel.
Drama Queen. Quote:

Perhaps she was feeling ill, or she couldn't tolerate the weird weather - how would Rapunzel know? Usually the girl was just an Ice Sclupture...so it couldn't be the weather... Quote:

No. She didn't have to leave. She was going to stay.
Er--why was she being so nice? "I'm alright, thank you. How about you? Is there anything I can do for you?", she asked in a rush. Maybe Rapunzel was talking to her because she wanted to ask her something? Hopefully. Nice Rapunzel freaked her out even more than the bipolar one.
Was she being paranoid? Maybe. But she really couldn't careless. Quote:

Wrong.
Yet Juniper still hoped that she was right as she walked through the courtyard, engrossed in reading about Venus fly traps. As she turned the page to look at a cross-section of the plant's roots, she tripped over the hem of her cloak. She barely realized what was happening when landed on top of something - no, it was a person. A someone.
Juniper blinked rapidly as she stared at her hair, which had landed in her face. She wrestled an arm free and lifted her hand to brush her hair away from her face, aware of only three things: her hair was in the way, her book was gone, and someone's knee was jutting into her stomach.
Ouch much? Quote:

She was about to continue when something suddenly barrelled into - and over - her. "Yowsha!" Punz hollered, trying to push whatever it was off of her. She managed to roll over and scramble up from the ground, unharmed luckily. Punz blinked down at the girl - oh yes, what else could it be? - and recognized her right away. "Oh, er, hi again, Clumsy Seeker Girl," Rapunzel said with a chuckle, realizing too late that she'd called the girl that out loud. "Um, sorry, I mean, are you okay?" she recovered quickly, offering the younger Ravenclaw a hand up. "You seem to bump into me in the weirdest situations...."
Punz trailed off with a glance at Willow. Of course, by 'weirdest situations' she meant 'only when Willow is around.'
What a coincidence. Quote:

Willow opened her mouth to reply to her, when in a blink of an eye, Rapunzel was on the floor, struggling to get off, and get rid off of whatever had made her fall. Tilting her head to the side to examine a little closer the person that had bumped into Rapunzel, Willow's lips curled into a snicker when she realized who was.
Juniper Nature-Freak Goodwin.
"Very nice, Juniper", she commented from where she was, not planning to move and help the two of them to stand up or anything like that. They could perfectly stand up without her help. Besides, it wasn't like she was friends with any of them or anything. More like the opposite, actually.
It wasn't until then, of course, that Willow noticed that she was stuck with her two least favourite people of Hogwarts; Juniper and Rapunzel. The Nature freak, and the bipolar.
How fabulous. Not. Quote:

Strolling out to the courtyard, she took a deep breath of the fresh air as she realized it was much chillier than she expected. Although no snow - so that was a bonus.
In the distance, she noted a crowding of familiar faces ahead. Clumsy seeker girl!? she blinked, as she recognized it was none other than Juniper. The second year Ravenclaw - who last term she met in the stands at a strange encounter, and then the girl beat her to the snitch in the consolation match. She groaned at the thought of having to face her team again this term.
Then there was Willow. Third year whom she'd met on one occasion; with a panther. She was quite sure she left the impression of being insane for wanting to be near the panther, but not her fault the girl seemed scared-to-death of animals!
And the third girl. Rapunzel?! Eek! What was her chaser doing with two Ravenclaws!? Two Ravenclaw quidditch players at that! Her eyes widened with shock.
Not paying attention to where she was going from the shock of it all, she rammed right into something hard. A person to be precise...
Well talk about making an entrance! Quote:

Oh, so she was "Clumsy Seeker Girl" now? Juniper bit her lip to stifle a giggle as she looked up up and away at the Hufflepuff.
"Sorry," she muttered quietly as she scrambled to her feet. Why oh why did she have to keep meeting people? "Erm. Are you okay?" Juniper had landed on the girl, after all. It was more likely for the squashed to be hurt than the squasher be harmed. "Weird situations? Like when anti-nat - er, Kovac, is watching?" she said, her eyes widening in innocence. No one had ever said that Juniper knew what was blunt and what was tactful.
Ack. Sarcasm from anti-nature girl. Just what she needed to make the situation as embarrassing and awkward as possible. Well, almost. Just when the second year thought the situation couldn't get much worse, the Hufflepuff Quidditch captain and ex-prefect entered the scene.
At least the older girl walked directly into Kovac en route. That was a good sign. Perhaps Amelia Rose wasn't as scary as Juniper thought. Or maybe it was just a ploy to get rid of the Ravenclaw Quidditch team. Juniper pondered this as she stood next to Rapunzel, her arms dangling awkwardly at her sides. Quote:

Someone with red hair. Someone that looked oddly familiar. .
The Hufflepuff Captain, former Prefect; Amelia Rose.
"Ungh", the third year Ravenclaw groaned, thick annoyance in her voice. "Would you please get off of me, Amelia? My left cheek is against the floor, and it's beginning to hurt." Perhaps this was her punishment for making fun of Juniper. Perhaps Karma was yet again, having fun with her.
... Or maybe Karma had nothing to do with her bad luck this time, because now that Willow thought about it, Bipolar Rapunzel was part of the Hufflepuff Quidditch Team, and Captain Rose obviously was, too.
Were they plotting against the Ravenclaw Team? Her eyes narrowed at the single thought of this. If that was the case, how fair was that, eh? Weren't Hufflepuffs the ones that played fair? Hmpf.
Where was Ryan when you needed him? If her theory was correct, he was about to lose two members of his Quidditch team. Quote:

Using her arms, she pulled herself up into a pushup position so that she could get a better look at student she crushed. She gulped at the sight of someone oddly familiar; the third year beater, Miss Willow Kovac was still beneath her stance on four extremities.
Blushing as Willow groaned and asked her to get off please, she nodded and stood up. "Sorry Willow," she murmured quietly, as she extended her hand down in gesture to help the girl get up.
This wasn't good; nope not good at all. "Are you okay? Any broken bones? Broken spirits? Something I can do to help..."
Honestly it wouldn't look good if the Hufflepuff Captain went into the Championship Match on a bad repertoire with two of Ravenclaw's players. Ryan would murder her if he ever knew of the near smooshing of his beater. Quote:

Ohhhh shoot. She had picked up on the weird situations comment too. Punzel was gonna need to start watching that mouth of hers... "Er, yeah, actually, she's always around," Punz replied softly, kinda inclining her head towards Willow. "I'm Rapunzel Ariel Black, by the way," she added, offering the younger Claw a handshake. From the corner of her eye, Punz could see something with a flaming red top knock into - and over - Willow Kovac. "Wow," Rapunzel murmured, shaking her head and grinning at the second accident. "Hi Cap'n Mia!" she waved at the older, clumsy girl, chuckling at her great timing. In Punz's opinion, maybe if Willow got knocked over a couple more times she wouldn't be so cold. Quote:

Amelia was still a scary, tall, Hufflepuff, old... person. And the petite Ravenclaw was certain she was out to get her.
And then the girl she had knocked down spoke. Juniper reverted her attention to the Hufflepuff. Aw no, did she really have to shake her hand? That was a terrifying thing to do, for the second year. But she shook Rapunzel's hand anyway.
"I'm Juniper," Juniper said softly, looking down at her feet. "Nice to meet you," she added. Yes. Kovac was always there. Almost as if she was stalking them. Quote:

Taking Amelia's hand to stand -not without having examine it first, of course- and stood up swiftly. Broken bones? Broken spirits? What on earth? It wasn't like she was that heavy. "I'm alright, thank you. I don't need anything", Willow replied as she smooth her school robes, and brushed the dirt on her right cheek with her hand.
No way she was going to ask Rose to do something for her. As far as Willow concerned, the fact that Amelia had bumped into her, wasn't an accident; it was more like a plot to get rid off her, and Juniper. In Willow's eyes it was not a coincidence that Amelia just happened to be wandering around The Courtyard the same time that Juniper, Rapunzel (who happened to be a Hufflepuff Quidditch player, too. Hmpf) and her were there.
Nope. It wasn't a coincidence at all.
Willow was taken out of her little reverie, however, when she heard the little exchange of words that Rapunzel and Goodwin were having. Briefly scowling at this, the third year replied, "Well, is not my fault that everytime I'm around, you happen to bump into someone, Juniper. Is not my fault that you happen to be so clumsy". Hmpf. Or maybe, she was just a timid little first year. Naw, she thinks I'm going to eat her, Rapunzel thought sadly. Perhaps Willow has gotten to her and spread rumors that I'm insane or something... "Pleasure to meet you too, Juniper," she said at last, trying to smile gently. Her efforts were wasted, however, as it seemed that Willow Kovac was not only an Ice Sculpture, but also one with supersonic hearing. Who, apparently, did not like poor Juniper. "It's alright, no harm done here...." Punz said smoothly, raising a blonde eyebrow at Willow. Was she trying to start a fight or something? "You're not injured either by Amelia's, er, clumsiness, are you Willow?" she couldn't resist adding in a sweet voice. "Because it would be such a shame to see you miss the Championship Quidditch Match....just because of a little accident..." she trailed off deliberately as the corners of her mouth twitched up into a smirk. Oh how she enjoyed messing with that Ravenclaw. Quote:

"Hello Chaser Punz!" she grinned, before her eyes darted toward Juni, whom Punz was talking with.
She gulped at Juniper's stare, of which she was quite sure the little second year was going to kill her for nearly squashing her teammate. She'd need to be especially wary of these two Ravenclaws; not that they seemed bad or anything, but she wasn't exactly sure what they were capable of.
Turning back to Willow, she vaguely wondered if her cheeks could have gotten any redder as she was quite sure they were flaming by now. Mia didn't miss the look Willow gave her hand though before taking it to help her stand up; ugh that girl was either overly sensitive with contact of others or was just rather upset by being plowed over.
Smoothing her robes again, with both hands, she frowned weakly when Willow told her she was fine and didn't need anything. "You sure Willow? Can I at least buy you a butterbeer or something at the next Hogsmeade weekend? Or how about..." she paused a moment, wondering if asking about tea leave readings was a good idea. Definitely not. "Er nevermind."
Amelia then grimaced as she overheard Punz talking to Willow and mention about being injured by her clumsiness. She hated being referred to as clumsy, but her next comment made it better and she was quite sure Punz was being sarcastic. But it was still awesome; it would quite the shame if Willow couldn't play.... Quote:

"Rapunzel here simply seems to attract my rare clumsy moments."
It wasn't until Rapunzel suggested how "horrible" it would be for Willow to miss the championship match that Juniper realized she probably shouldn't have said that Rapunzel attracted her clumsiness. Especially with Amelia there to hear her and, possibly, eat her.
Lovely. Just lovely.
At least Willow didn't look likely to be mortally wounded by the old Hufflepuff. Merlin. What was the world coming to, when Juniper actually cared about Willow's health? Hmm. Likely the same place the world would go if Amelia sincerely wanted to buy Willow a butterbeer.
Once more, Juniper eyed Amelia Rose levelly. That girl really was tall, but she didn't look much like a troll. In fact, when examined objectively, the only scary part of the girl was her height and Quidditch prowess. Of course, Juniper was still terrified of Amelia, but it made her feel slightly more at ease with the situation in the courtyard when she looked at everyone objectively and tried -- failing, of course -- to not be afraid. Maybe if she concentrated on the lack of fangs... Quote:

"Of course not", Willow replied. Since when Rapunzel cared whether she was injured or not, eh? Of course the reply to her own question came to her right after Rapunzel had finished speaking. "Most definitely. It would be a shame". Her replied came on as a little smile started to play around the corner of her lips. "Not for you, of course. I'm sure that you enjoy having no fractures on the bones of your arms, Rapunzel. I'm sure that you would hate if a bludger just happen to hit you during that match... ". She trailed off, pretending to be thoughtful. "Bludgers.. Such dangerous things, don't you think?", the third year Ravenclaw mused innocently, with a little smile on her lips.
She was determined to be polite. No way she was going to let Rapunzel get on her nerves--or at least she was not going to allow the Hufflepuff to see that she was getting on her nerves.
Turning back to Amelia, Willow replied easily, "I said I was fine. A butterbeer? That sounds quite tempting, I must say". Whatever, butterbeer, no butterbeer, she didn't care. As long as Amelia didn't hurt her in a way that would not let her play on the Championship game, Willow didn't care.
"Right", she replied, obviously not convinced. Rapunzel attracting her rare clumsy moments? Now that was a lot of rubbish, on Willow's opinion. Then again, Rapunzel was bipolar, and Willow had no idea what kind of effect the fourth year had on other people, so she simply took a little step closer to Juniper, before adding, "If I were you, I'd stay away from her. She's mentally unstable. You can't afford to get hurt, not before the Championship game, Juniper". Eh. Why was she worried if Juniper got hurt. Since when did she care?
Since the day that Juniper had caught the three snitches during that match again the Snakes. Right, she had almost forgotten about that. Quote:

And she clearly didn't like Willow either....good! This girl was starting to grow on Punzel, really. "I don't mind clumsiness, actually," Punz said cheerfully, rocking a bit on her heels. "Merlin, I'd say I'm one of the clumsiest people I know. Besides you, Juni dear," she added fondly, patting the secondy on the shoulder. "You don't mind if I call you Juni, do you?" she added less loudly, winking at the second year. Rapunzel was trying to be as friendly as possible and if the infamous SuperPretzel wink didn't work....well, then she had completely failed as a Hufflepuff. "Bludgers are such a dangerous pain though, aren't they Willow?" Punz said in a much colder tone as she turned to address the Ice Sculpture. "And Beaters too, come to think of it, can be annoying...I mean, usually boys take that position rather eagerly...but I guess you must just be....different." She emphasized the last word rather heavily with a smirk and a raised eyebrow, completely forgetting that fact that Cap'n Mia's boyfriend was a Beater....oops. Pretzel was talking too fast to really pick up on the last bit Willow said...but she definitely heard 'metally unstable.' "EXCUSE me?!" Rapunzel added quickly, taking a step toward Willow and crossing her arms. "YOU are calling ME mentally unstable?" She rolled her eyes and chuckled harshly. "Well well well, I would have thought there are plenty of mirrors around this Belle's School for you to look in, Willow Kovac...but apparently you haven't noticed the anti-social disorder you've developed." Oooh snap, take that. Rapunzel was pretty articulate and very observant for a blonde, if she did think so herself. |

A long whistle is heard and Vindictus calls both teams to the ground. But a figure in red comes at him, completely out of control - it was Alexis Chosen. He barely had time to react and ended up feeling a foot smack his rear as he fell face-first into the grass. "Okay, there Alexis?" he asked and nearly inhaled a mouthful of orange grass. Slowly, rising to his feet, he rubbed his backside and looked at the broken broomstick and then the beet-red face of the Gryffindor captain. "You know, there are people who would love to do what you just did," he joked and hoped to make light of the situation.
Nearly fifteen minutes passed before the excitement somewhat subsided and the professor was able to speak. "That was an amazing game! Gryffindor, you played an outstanding game and did your House proud. There's nothing to be ashamed of or upset about - hold your heads up high." He went around and shook each of their hands, and noticed two of the players helping Krum stand up. He shuddered at the mere thought of the young man's injury. In fact, he resisted the urge to cross his legs when the injury happened. "Get Freddie a few large ice packs and if the swelling doesn't go down, he needs to see Nurse Numel."
Now he turned his attention to Slytherin. "Congratulations on your victory, Slytherin," he said and shook each of their hands, except for Billium who was being tended to by Nurse Numel. "You fought hard and played fair, even when you were behind." He then handed a trophy to Desdemonda and shook her sticky hand again. The Slytherin supporters in the stands were chanting loudly. "Congratulations."
He gave the Slytherin team a few moments to hoist the trophy. "Make sure to shake hands before anyone leaves the Pitch."

Courtyard Drama Part #2 Quote:
Originally Posted by Super-long post Amelia was watching as there seemed to much tension in the air of the three younger girls. Truthfully, she was beginning to regret coming down to the courtyard but at the same time, not. It would be good for them to get everything out in the open before the championship game.
She then blinked at the young second year, whom suggested that Rapunzel attracted her clumsiness. Gasping, her green eyes widened in shock at the idea. "Juniper! My chaser is not the root of your clumsiness. You only have your own puny self to blame for that!" she exclaimed, rather defensively.
Oops. Maybe that was a tad overboard, but she would not have the evil little seeker picking on her teammate. Geez; and why did Juniper have to eye her like that?! That was quite scary. But not as scary as the teeny Eagle girl was when on a broomstick; honestly, that girl was terrifying at quidditch. The only advantage she had was that she was quite a bit taller than Juniper, which did put her slightly at ease.
Then Willow went on to taunt Rapunzel something of bludgers hitting her during the match. Narrowing her eyes at the other Ravenclaw, whom she'd accidentally run into, she blinked. "You wouldn't dare hit a bludger against her," she told her, thinking of her scary beater boyfriend. Albeit she'd never admit it, Willow terrified even her as beater.
Taking a deep breath, Amelia nodded when Willow said again she was fine. "Tempting? But would you accept the offer of a butterbeer?" she asked lightly. Better keep things polite around here. Ryan would certainly kill her if she managed to injure his players before the Championship. Not that she would mind if Rapunzel managed to injure Juniper before the game, making the little second year unable to play. "Oh and for the record, Rapunzel is no more mentally unstable than any other girl around here."
Amelia had to refrain from smirking when Punz called her Juni. Somehow, she had this inkling Juniper would not take too kindly to that name, but either way she was prepared to act in defense of her housemate.
Well, almost...
Listening to Rapunzel answer against Willow in response about the bludgers being dangerous and beaters being annoying was just a wrong move on the fourth year's part. Not that she minded the last comment of usually boys taking that position, but did she just call her boyfriend annoying!? "Rapunzel Black!" Amelia exclaimed, slightly mortified. If there was one that annoyed her most, besides quidditch, it was comments made against her boyfriend, no matter how indirect. "Tancred is a beater; are you trying to tell me that he is annoying?!" Her eyes were quite wide and alert, as she kept her gaze fixed on the fourth year, waiting for an answer. Quote:
Originally Posted by Juniper, not Juni Juniper eyed Willow suspiciously. So Rapunzel Black was mentally unstable, eh? If that was Willow’s opinion, Rapunzel couldn’t be all that bad. If Willow didn’t like the girl, that was all the more incentive for Juniper to try to enjoy her company. Ah, the Championship game. The one reason Willow actually cared about her well-being. The second year gave anti-nature girl a sweet, if slightly sarcastic, smile.
“I can keep myself unharmed without your advice, Kovac, but thanks anyway,” she said sweetly. “It’s the thought that counts.”
With another smile that bordered on being a grimace, Juniper turned from her teammate to look at Rapunzel.
Juniper sighed in relief as Rapunzel said she didn’t mind clumsiness. In reality, Juniper wasn’t a clutz. She just… tended to walk into somebody every single time she let her mind wander whilst walking. It was merely bad luck that made Rapunzel be that person two times. She forced a small smile when Rapunzel called her Juni.
Great. Another person to call her Juni. She might as well start introducing herself as such, for all the good it was doing to introduce herself as JuniPER.
“Sure, I don’t mind,” Juniper said in a faint voice. Lying through her teeth. Pah! She really needed to get used to the nickname, as it seemed it was going to stick. Was that a wink? Odd… people usually winked when they thought they had a secret with someone. Perhaps Rapunzel was slightly off-kilter, as Kovac had suggested. Nowhere near as crazy as anti-nature girl seemed to think, but possibly a little bit so.
What now? It wouldn’t do for Juniper to stand there and let Rapunzel dis a Ravenclaw beater. Even though it was Juniper standing there… but still. “I agree bludgers are a pain, but don’t you think it’s a bit of a bad idea to be rude to the beater of your opposing team just before a Quidditch match?” Juniper said softly. “Because she’ll have that beater’s bat. And bludgers are a pain if you get in their way.”
And please don’t eat me, Rapunzel and Amelia, please don’t eat me, Juniper added silently in her mind. She was not keen on being eaten before the big match.
Juniper stared as Amelia took her far too seriously. It had been a joke. A joke! But clearly Juniper was such the un-joking type that even Amelia, who she barely knew, didn’t catch her joke. Hmph. And to think that Juniper thought it had been obviously a joke. Or obvious sarcasm, or… erm, how about not thinking that. The second year thought instead about what she would say to the Hufflepuff. Gahh. Everything that came to mind was either lame or might provoke the girl into eating her.
“I’m not puny,” she finally said firmly, glaring at Amelia. Just because the seventh year was a giant did not mean that Juniper, who was several years younger, was puny. At all.
Juniper snorted as even Amelia got riled at Rapunzel’s insinuation that beaters were annoying. This random meeting in the courtyard wasn’t that awful. Scary, yes. Boring, most definitely not. Quote:

Was it so hard to call someone by their name? No, it wasn't. So, why did people insisted in creating nicknames? Well, it was Rapunzel that had came up with it, after all. Why was she so surprised of how ridiculous it was, again? "Please don't make me call you Juni, Goodwin", Willow said, addressing to her house mate, as she dropped her voice so only the second year would be able to hear.
"Bludgers are not a pain for me, Rapunzel, and being a beater is certainly not annoying", Willow retorted, matching the badger's cold tone. "And, I really see nothing wrong in being different. But obviously you do, judging by that tone of voice". Didn't she know that everyone was different? The world would be extremely boring if everyone acted the same way. "I am curious, though", the third year began again, faking curiosity, "Are you calling one of your teammates different? Because as far as I know, last term one of your beaters was the girl that is know your prefect, and this term, I can't recall who your beaters are, but I'm sure one of them is a girl", she paused for a second, and then went on, "So, tell me, Rapunzel, are you calling those girls annoying? Different? And keep in mind that I'm using your definition of different, not mine", Willow finished, making her tone of voice even sharper now.
This was beyond ridiculous, honestly. Walk away, or stay here saying Rapunzel one thing or two. Hmmm... Though the first option sounded like the safe one, the latter was just too tempting for the Ravenclaw to resist.
"Are you hearing yourself, Rapunzel? One minute you are being all nice and kind to Juniper and the other you are being snarky and absolutely obnoxious. Don't you think that's a little odd? Have you consider the possibility of getting yourself a room in St. Mungos, so the healers can treat the obvious emotional disorder you've got?", Well, if Rapunzel haven't consider that option, she totally should. The girl was clearly insane. "Anti-social disorder?", she raised her eyebrows at her. "Listen, Black. The fact that I don't like you, doesn't make me an anti-social. If someone isn't your friend, or doesn't like you, for that matter, does not make that person strange, anti-social, or different". Stupid Rapunzel. How self.conceited could you be to actually think that because someone didn't like you it meant that there was something wrong with that person, eh?
Flipping her dark hair out of the way as she turned to Amelia, Willow simply shrugged. "Is not like I would do it on purpose, or anything", she replied with a snicker, albeit honestly. Sort of. Heheh. "But as a Quidditch captain, you probably know that my job as a beater is to protect my team, soo.. I can make any promises about that". That was not a joke, and it was her job as a beater. And nothing was going to stop her from doing a good job. "Maybe", Willow replied, with a small grin. Amelia was slightly insane, but she was nice. "Are sure about that?", Willow inquired, raising one her eyebrows just a little bit. "Would you say that is normal, if out of nowhere, I point at you with my wand, then laugh, then yell at you for no reason, then being abnormally friendly, then to start crying, then to being friendly again, cry again, and yelling at you before calling you crazy?", Willow explained to the Captain, remembering the little encounter she had with Rapunzel in the Gates, the previous term.
Her snicker got even wider, when Willow noticed that Amelia didn't look so pleased with her house and team mate.
"As you wish", the third year replied politely to the second year. "Just make sure you don't get hurt", the fourth year warned calmly.
"Thank you, Juniper", Willow said with, flashing a friendly smile at the girl's direction. Of all the people, Willow would have never imagine that she would end up agreeing with Nature freak. Then again, they were team mates, and honestly, she was glad that the girl wasn't siding with Ms. I am a bipolar in denial.
Hearing Amelia's reply to Nature freak, Willow took a little step closer to the younger Ravenclaw so she could be standing right next to her. "Don't call her a puny, because she's hardly one". Ravenclaws had to stick together, and she knew that. Quote:

Punz blinked at Mia, literally scratching the top of her blonde head as she did so. "Not all Beaters are annoying, I mean, duh, just....enemy ones...?" she trailed off faintly, taking a step back from the group and really hoping Amelia wouldn't beat her up now. Perhaps Juniper had the right idea about not wanting to get eaten.
Or perhaps Juniper was going to be the one eating them! The girl had such a sullen look on her face just because Punz called her Juni! Merlin! Rapunzel was the Queen of Nicknames in all honesty, and she simply could not resist nicknaming someone when she could. "You might have a point there, Juni," Punz replied softly. She just made herself look stupider the more she spoke and now all of her self-confidence was definitely gone. "I think I'll stop talking now and back away slowly...." she said, doing just that without taking her eyes off of Willow. Never mind Juniper, Kovac was the dangerous one who knew how to handle a hefty club.
And if they thought Rapunzel had a mental illness, they seriously needed to listen to Willow Kovac a little more closely right now. Rapunzel had been about to just edge away from the conversation but something the other girl said kept her rooted to the ground. "Kovac," she said coldly, staring her down, "By different I meant unique, as in, only you can possibly hold the title of Rudest and Most Annoying Beater in Hogwarts History. Congratulations," Punz finished sarcastically, clapping her hands loudly and briefly.
She turned on her heel to stalk away for real this time, but once again The Ice Queen could not stop talking. Rapunzel didn't even bother turning around. Willow's words were just too hurtful and she was afraid that if she were face-to-face with the girl, she would jinx the Ravenclaw into a million little pieces. "That one occasion, one emotional outburst," Rapunzel spat in a low tone, hardly moving her lips but to let the words out, "was beyond your level of comprehension, Kovac. I don't suppose you've ever had your heart broken and let's face it - you never will - because you don't have a heart to break."
And with that, Punzie squared her shoulders, grabbed her messenger bag and book, and stormed out of the courtyard, blinking rapidly as she tried not to think. It would be best to put as much distance between her and her enemy as possible before someone got physically hurt. Quote:

Besides, all she really wanted to do was to make some peace with the enemy before the Championship Game. And to have her whole team there too, would be a blessing. Yes, strong and fearless Hufflepuff captain was nervous.
She blinked at Juniper, who claimed she didn't mind being called Juni, but somehow she doubted the second year. For she was quite sure the girl was lying, but she didn't saying anything and just bit her lip. Not her business; nope. As long as there was no physical violence.
Of course Juniper agreed with her teammate about use of beater's bats. But she did have a point; no sense in being rude to someone who could easily take you out with their bat. Lost momentarily in her thoughts, she finally noticed Juniper was staring at her! EEK! Did the second year want to eat her!? But nope; she just said something quite simple. I'm not puny. "I'll be the judge of that," Amelia replied nonchalantly, knowing it was no use arguing over something like size.
Turning her attention to Willow and Rapunzel, she sighed at their coldness towards one another. Honestly, why couldn't they just get along? Be civil with one another, at least. Truthfully though, if anyone was anti-social, she thought the Slytherin Prefect was far worse than Willow. Or maybe it was just her deeply embedded hatred towards the Slytherin; or the fact that they were always at odds with competing for points. Meh.
Shrugging it off, she brushed her own hair behind her ear, as Willow turned to her. Sure you wouldn't... she bit her lip to keep from saying outloud. "Of course I know the job of beater, Willow. I'm just saying. I don't want anyone hurt, not even your team." She stated matter-of-factly, lying slightly. If there was one person she did what injured, it was the Eagle Seeker, but she wouldn't dare admit that. As captain, she needed to show good sportsmanship, no matter what.
She smiled when Willow said she might let her buy her a butterbeer. "How about this Willow. Your team wins, I'll buy you a drink. My team wins, you buy," she replied smartly, giving her a wink. Amelia then frowned at description of normal, or mad insanities, that Willow began to give her and shook her head. "When did that happen? I mean, that wasn't this term... Besides, I simply meant that if Rapunzel is mentally unstable, then so is everyone else! Think about how we're all living right now, this term. The present. Forget about the past, you can't change it. You have to look at the present - and be there. Truly be there. Don't let anyone or anything get in your way. Make friends with those you never thought possible. Be open minded. Live. Love. Be happy." She started on this rather long rant, which she had no idea where it came from. "Your days at Hogwarts - or Belle's - are numbered. Before you know it, you'll be graduating and out in the real world.. Do you really want to be the girl who had a vengeance towards someone?"
Taking a deep breath, she was hardly believing what she had just said, but totally meant every word of it. Shockingly enough.
Rapunzel then seemed to freak out because she accidentally insinuated something about Tancred. Blushing, slightly she hadn't meant to confuse her housemate. "You did, but ... oh, okay then. You better not have meant that." She stated, keeping her focus on the fourth year badger.
Then with some carefully chosen words directed at Willow mostly, the fourth year stormed out of the courtyard. "Punz!" she called after her housemate. Turning back to look at the two Ravenclaws, she shook her head. "Now look what you've done, Willow." She stated, disapprovingly, "Bye Juniper." She said, as she adjusted her own messenger bag, before following her housemate out of the courtyard. Quote:

And then anti-nature girl sided with her, and Juniper’s attention was completely diverted from the Hufflepuffs. Kovac, defending her and agreeing with her? What in Merlin’s beard was going on here? A grateful smile was directed in toward the third year. She wouldn’t thank the girl out loud, but surely the older girl would sense the grateful vibes.
Juniper blinked as Rapunzel suddenly left. She just… left. Without any explanation at all. The Ravenclaw looked at Amelia for an explanation, only to be called puny yet again, though with different words.
And then Amelia left. Juniper was taken aback by the older girl’s abrupt goodbye. Her response was mainly instinctual.
“Er… bye?”
And then the seventh year was gone. The atmosphere in the courtyard seemed… significantly different without Amelia, and Juniper looked at her feet, at the sky, at the far reaches of the courtyard. She was looking, in fact, anywhere but at Kovac. Now that they were alone, the second year did not want to make eye contact. Perhaps it would be best to leave.
“Ehh… bye, Willow,” Juniper squeaked. She scuttled to collect her book from where it had fallen when she landed on Rapunzel. A quick half-wave, and the thirteen-year-old hurried from the courtyard. And then Willow left after that, too. I love how they all ended up blaming her. -Pets my girl- xD

This is what happens after a Quidditch match when you've got a beat up boy, his Captain (Even though he was only filling in for a reserve), and another teammate that thinks the fairytale stories might be right in this case Quote:

Looking at Fred, she shook her head. "Freeeedd! Freeddie! Monkey Boy? Oh well don't sorry Sam he'll be ok....I think" Alexis said unsure. "Thanks...I guess. So how are you Sam?"
Turning Alexis grinned at Desdemonda. "You're team is awesome too. You scared me as seeker." Blinking as the Slythie started to yell Alexis blinked. Was she yelling at Sam? Or...huh? Quote:

How bad it could have been for someone who was afraid of height. Lucky enough to have be able to connect with one bludger, the rest of the game was rather vague for him. This was it for him, never would he be caught doing the same thing. The only reason is that Lexi had owl'ed him. Grasping on Sam's shoulder a little too hard, he was trying to get a hold of him without much success. Quote:

A michevious look crossed her face, but was gone before anybody could notice. "You know, Fred is pretty messed up. Its almost like he is asleep. Maybe if you kiss him he would come back to life. Just like that muggle story!" she smiled widely. She then shielded herself with Fred's body. She wouldnt kill Fred to get to her would she?
Sam then turned around at the slytherin seeker. Who was she yelling at? What splinter. "Um, Im not trying to be mean or anything, but you just won. Why are you mad?" she asked in the kindest way possible. She really didnt want to be nice when somebody was yelling at her or one of her team mates, but she knew many professors were watching and she was not going to get in trouble here. Quote:

Blinking Alexis gave Sam a funny look. Kissed Fred? That would help...how? He wasn't sleeping. And how was a kiss suppose to wake a sleeping person up. Maybe Sam had gotten hit in the head with a bludger. "I got a better idea." She muttered. Moving closer to Fred she took a deep breath and yelled in his ear. "FREDERIC KRUM START TALKING NOW OK!?!?!". Chyeah. That should work. Quote:

She scowled as Lexi didnt move any closer to kissing him. It was so obvious they would make a good couple, even if Vannah says otherwise. He was her monkey and she was his cheetah. "Alexyna! Kiss the boy before he passes out." she said and gave her a stern look. Quote:

Staring at the other Gryffindor Alexis didn't say a word. Seriously. How could kissing him make him better? As Sam threw Fred into her arms Alexis dropped the pieces of the broom and fell over back on the funny colored grass from Fred's weight, and from the surprise of having a 6'0 5th year thrown at her. Alexis winced as she felt more pain in her shoulder. "Fred?" Alexis said slowly. Ah! He looked like he was dying. She had killed him by asking him to play! No wonder he was scared of Quidditch. And she couldn't take him to Belle's! Not knowing what to do, Lex figured there was only one thing she could do. Leaning foward to him she gave him a quick peck on the cheek. "WAKE UP NOW!" She yelled right after. If that didn't work she would kill Sam (right after she killed Dusty that is). Quote:

But on top of that Sam, Lexi’s friend had the guts of telling her to kiss him. NO WAY!! They were friend so why even bother mentioning that.
“hmm..”, was basically the best he could manage so far.
The next things he knew his that all his weight was on his friend and he felt her face coming closer and closer. Frozing on place and not sure what do to, his heart started to race just a bit more than usual but nothing that alarming. "Shh!!..." Mumbling some incoherent words after that, he was trying to walks on his own but every step he was taking was almost making fall yet again. Quote:

Lex muttered, grabbing his arm to help him steady himself. "You don't look to good. I'm gonna try to take to ask far as Coopers as I can. Or....maybe we can find Cale somewhere." She said as she began to walk off of the pitch with him. Two words: Uh-no.
