Leo walked quickly through the halls, as he had heard the the Hufflepuffs were winning against the Gryffindors. And this sounds exciting, not a big Qudditch fan himself, but Leo likes to see the rivalry between the two houses. The walk suddenly broke into a run, he was running so he wouldn't miss the game, since he saw most of the students coming back. As he ran further Leo couldn't help but bump into someone. Suddenly jerking or maybe flying a few steps forward, Lua wasn't able to control her balance making her fall faceforward slamming hard to the gournd. "My" she painfully managed arching herself upward trying to lift herself up "nose.. ouch" trying to control herself from crying from all the pain that was throbbing. Leaning her legs sideways to be able to sit-up, Lua casted her eyes in the direction the body came from to spot Leo Moretti. Eyes widened in shock, she wasn't able to control it anymore and there had her instant breakdown and started crying uncontrollably, what as he up to? "Leo, why are you doing this?"

Lua's vision got blurred, her eyeliner and tears barely left any space to view anything. Only when she heard Leo mention her nose was bleeding did she start sobbing even more, now her nose is damaged, forever. She could feel his hand on his face, but she wasn't sure what he was doing. What if he transfigured her nose to resemble a pig? But his apology sounded sincere, maybe it was an accident? It happens alot around here.
She heard him mutter a spell then felt a cool rush down her nose. "Did it work?" she asked trying to open one eye, but it only spilled tears. "Its ok Leo. It was an accident" she shrugged inbetween breaths, but continued to sob. Why was she having her breakdown here? Why infront of Leo of all people? Why was Leo able to push all the wrong buttons?
She rubbed her eyes with her sleeve and tried to control herself from crying even more and make herself look like a fool or reflect weakness infront of Leo. She jerked her head in Leo's direction to find him stunned in place, she didn't mean to confuse him or was he trying to play with her head? "I'm sorry Leo, I don't understand what I'm saying anymore" she shrugged again, but it was late.. tears started dropping down her cheaks again.

More tears started to pour out. That's it ,he couldn't stand seeing her like this. At that moment, where the world had disappeared, no one could see them, no one knew them, Leo pressed his lips against Lua's

He then held Lua in his arms. This was a right feeling, a good one too.”I’m sorry” he whispered once more. “I can explain everything that had happened Lua, if you would just” he paused, looking into her green, eyeliner ruined eyes “let me” He kissed Lua on her head and smiled. “I love you”

An apology wasn't expected, his kiss was worth a thousand words. She shyly blushed at his second peck and silently listened to what he wanted to say. She lowered her gaze for a thoughtful moment then glanced back at him, "I forgive you Leo" she answered framing his face with both hands adding a smile, not mentioning his crimes as it was the first step for her to forget them. Wrapping her arms around him again resting her head on his chest, "I love you too, Morretti" she whispered trying to restrain herself from crying again a happy one this time. Curious at the explenation he had, only she wanted to stay in his arms for a bit longer. "Alright, I'm listening" she remarked, perking her head upwards preparing herself towards what is to come.

No one can stop him now, not even his family’s name. When she said those three words he barked with laughter “I love you too!” he said as he grabbed her and kissed her again. “I love you” he whispered in her ear. When Lua was ready to hear the explanation Leo’s face became serious. He her hands and looked her in the eyes “Well, when I saw you in the library…I mean when it happened. I was in a, you know crappy mood” he took a deep breath then continued. “See Lua, I found out that I have a cousin here in Hogwarts. It’s not a student, it’s a professor.” Leo then waited for her to react. Seeing that she didn’t he continued.” See it’s Professor De Luca. I found out that her grandmother had married my grandfather and she’s actually with the family business.” He sighed. “She asked me to get Erikson and Professor Blaylock together and get Maline away from the whole thing. I tried everything I could, I even petrified Erikson, which was a bad mistake since he got mad at me. I also got this perfecting job and My dad owled me saying that I’m up for the business and, and I’m just so tired” Leo then rubbed his face with his hands “I wish this could all. Stop”

All this kissing in the hallway will get them in serious trouble, but the disconnection from their surrounding was making her less aware of this fact.
Upon hearing his love words again, she could feel her heart beating faster. His sincere voice and reaction installed tranquillity in her heart, killing any doubt she may previously had or concluded. She lovably returned his kiss, feeling more woozy after they broke off making her mind go blank. She stayed in his arms for a while longer giving him the time needed to explain his reasons.
When he started explaining, Lua glanced at him, interwining her fingers with his and decided the best way was for her to keep silent until he was done saying everything he wanted to say. Some of the things he was saying was making her even more confused as if throwing a jumbled puzzle in her face. She bit her lip again and tried to make sense of what he was saying then shook her head. "Sorry, I don't catch you" she remarked giving an apologetic look "bare with me a second, because i don't see any of it resembling our relationship in anyway". She tried to make the connection between him flirting with Professor De Luca, and him being cousins with the Professor - but failed miserably. She vaguely remembered him being called into her office after class, was it there when he figured they were related? Or perhaps after. She simply shrugged it off, because what he did upon her request was even worse.
She placed one hand on his cheek while holding his hand with the other, "Parents or family can sometimes pressure us into doing things that was not meant for us. Sometimes its what we have to do, at others we have to do what we think is right, our own way that is what defines us" she gave him a weak smile and lowered her hands to rest on his chest, her worries slowly growing back. "You decide what you want to do with your life, Leo" she exclaimed wondering if his Dad was the reason behind their break-up, completely obliviant to the sort of business their family was running since it was the least of her worries, or she thought so.

Leo smiled as she had stayed in his arms to hear his explanation; he was so glad that she gave him a chance to listen.
He smiled weakly as he saw that she had intertwined his fingers with hers. He frowned when she said that she hadn’t understood him. “Well, it’s kind of hard to explain Lua. I guess I was stressed out, and Ally had a lot of things for me to do. I mean the day I found out I was her cousin is when she asked me to come by her office when I…” he nervously smiled, “flirted with her. Professor Blaylock was there with us, we started to talk and then we found out we had connections” he sighed. Leo looked at Lua and frowned, should he tell her about him being a mafia child? If he was going to risk their relationship again, he should tell her. But she may wind up getting hurt by his family. Oh why did he have to be a Moretti? Why couldn’t he be some kid who’s dad does work in the vending machine business. He thought of a way to tell Lua about the ‘thing’ but, he couldn’t think of a simple way. He would just have to tell her straight forward. And he would only hope for the best.
Leo check felt like it had melted in her hand. He loved the way she made him feel safe, confidant and strong. He listened to what she had to say, and she was right about it. He should decide on his own about what should he do with his life, but he couldn’t. It doesn’t work that way in the business, if you’re the son of a mob boss. You would automatically be the boss after his death, and Leo was going to be it. He took his hand away from hers and turned around, “You don’t know my family Lua” he whispered. He obviously hated telling her this. But he had to, he needed to if he wanted her to stay with him. Leo turned around and looked Lua in the eyes, he took a deep breath and prayed that this would go well. “I-I-I’m a mafia child”

Maybe his dad had the same characteristics as her dad, she simply shrugged at the idea and shook it off immediately once she saw his facial features become worriesome. "Whats a mafia child" she exclaimed in bewilderment wondering whats so creepy about those few words, for a moment she assumed he was going to explain something she understood. Perhaps its a term for purebloods usually used in the muggle world. She shot him an apologetic look for being very inquisitive.

My dad isn’t feeling well these past few months and…he owled me telling me that I have to learn everything I need from Ally” he said as he rubbed his face. “I mean I can’t let my dad down”
He then remembered something. The summer fight where he had gotten his black eye, he could explain that to her. Tell her the truth about what happened. “Lua remember y black eye? I told you a bunch of guys jumped me right?” at that moment Leo grabbed her hands and gave them a squeeze. “Well, they didn’t jump me. My dad was actually training me at that time, self defense. And well they had to hit me and I had to…well protect myself.” He then smiled nervously. He hoped Lua wouldn’t freak out on him.

His eyes widened when Lua fainted. Leo grabbed her before she could hit the ground. “Lua!” he said in a panicky voice. “get up Lua” he said as he shook her. This was no use, he took out his wand and pointed it on Lua. “Rennervate” he whispered. Leo waited for Lua to get up, he only hoped she would

But dea- i mean your business" hoping she said it right "is rather dangerous" she shrugged falling back into her dillemma again, she needed time to absorb what was explained and definitely dig more information on their business in the muggle world. She was sure he loved her and wouldn't harm her, and completely understood that fact that he had no option other than carry on with their business. Merlin knows how her family strictfully forces them to follow their traditional pureblood mania and awkward family rules, but his sounded more dangerous.
"You know, I'd rather run away with you and live in hiding poorly" she chuckled, "Promise me that you'll train hard and learn as much as you can. Because I don't think I'll be able to stand my life without you" planting a kiss on his cheeks.

Leo listened to what Lua had to say, he was grateful that he had a girlfriend like her. “I don’t know what to do Lua” he sighed as he let her lay on his chest. “Me?” he chuckled “I wouldn’t do too well as a leader. I can’t order people to do things like-like that” Leo hesitated. He couldn’t help but laugh when she had said the business was dangerous. “Of course it’s dangerous. This business isn’t a game, it’s called the life. As in you live it every single day until you die. You just can’t quit. Obviously I can’t since it’s in my blood and it’s going to be my future job.” He told her. Leo knew that she would freak out. He knew it! He just wished he hadn’t told her yet, but did he make the right choice telling her?
What she had just made Leo tear up. She was serious about their love, as did he. The Hufflepuff looked at the Gryffindor and smiled weakly. “I promise” he whispered in her ear while pulling her closer to him. “I don’t think I’ll live without you”

I'm sure he knows how to train you best and make sure you finish it up" she shrugged feeling very very insane with her words, but it was best for Leo. His laughter about it being dangerous wasn't making her feel comfortable, maybe it was different when you lived it everyday? She couldn't hide her worried face anymore the job he wanted to take over was insanely mad. She heaved heavily trying to bring back calm into her. "Maybe you have an advantage" she exclaimed lowering her hand to hold his again "Magic".
Feeling serenely as he pulled her in closer to him and taking up his promise, Lua grinned at him feeling more rested. "You better not" she poked his chest teasingly.
Lua was about to wrap her arms again around Leo, when she heard their names being called out. She shrugged slightly glancing in the direction of the stern voice to spot Professor Blaylock, they were dead now. Very dead.
It was a relief to see her walk away again, they're not in too much trouble if she walked away .. as long as she doesn't owl them to meet her later. "Yes ma'am" she managed, leaning more into Leo as if hiding in him would solve the solution realizing she was going the wrong direction, she leaned away giving him an apologetic look "Maybe we should get moving" .

His laughter about the business being dangerous obviously made her uncomfortable, god he was stupid. This wasn’t funny! “Lu, I know you don’t like the sound of this.” He said while he wrapped his arms around her waist. He held her hand and gave it a squeeze. “Well, that wouldn’t be fair. I may leave magic when I take over, forever” he whispered while he looked away. He couldn’t bare telling this to her while looking in her eyes.
He poked her back and smiled. “I promise”
When Professor Blaylock passed by, Leo didn’t move away from Lua. The Professor was obviously busy with something since she didn’t stop and took points off their behavior. He couldn’t help chuckle at her words.
He couldn’t help but laugh at Lua’s expression. It was priceless. “She’s a sweet heart, don’t be terrified by her” he winked.
Leo nodded. They did need to talk somewhere else, and this wasn’t the best place to do so. Watching the Professor go out of their sight, he turned to Lua and mischievously beamed. “I know where we should go Miss Stone” he said in a gentleman way. Leo scooped Lua off her feet and laughed, “Your knight in shining armor is at your service” He then walked towards the Room of Requirement carrying Lua Stone in his arms.

She laid both hands on his as they perfectly found their usual place, shiftily glancing in Blaylock's direction to make sure she's not coming back. "Well, You make your own path" giving him an encouraging smile, it seemed obvious how difficult it was for him to come out to the clear and tell her this, and it was only fair for her to respect his wishes "you do what you see fit, Leo".
"You do?" she remarked wondering where he wanted to take her, but before she was able to take another breath she was lifted in his arms in the most charming way. "Leo Morretti" she giggled softly "I guess I'm the lucky one" wrapping her arms around his neck resting her head near his glancing at him with admiration, Leo Morretti was full of surprises.
