A highly-prized and beautiful wood, Cherry makes for a surprisingly lethal wand. Self-control and a strong will are a must for the wielder of Cherry, particularly if the core is dragon heartstring. Additionally Cherry is excellent for healing spells, binding spells and divination. It holds a feminine and intuitive energy and an affinity for the earth element, and therefore herbology enthusiasts may find Cherry a suitable wand. Cherry will help keep its bearer 'down to Earth' providing their nature is one suited to such a powerful and varied wood.
Known as a rare core, Phoenix feathers are capable of a great range of magic, though they tend to take a while to master. Wands with Phoenix feather cores have great initiative, sometimes acting of their own accord, which is not an agreeable trait for all witches and wizards. They make a picky wand as the phoenix itself is particularly independent and detached. Their allegiance is hard won and a wand with this core is difficult to tame. They are a powerful core and versatile, though Defense Against the Dark Arts as a subject tends to come easiest and hexes and jinxes are often the easiest spell-type to master.

The oldest of two children born to Ashe and Raena Marchbanks, Phoenix has had a relatively normal, wizarding childhood. He went to St. Woboldo's Magical Primary School before attending Hogwarts where he was sorted into Ravenclaw. Phoenix is quietly opinionated and intensely curious. On the outside, he may seem lost in a perpetual daydream as he mind is constantly working, making him at times appear detached or reserved. But that is because his mind is overflowing with ideas and he is not unfriendly, but is eager to make connections with like-minded people or those who can challenge him intellectually. He has quieted, however, after the events of his first year when the school was thrown into the 3rd Wizarding War.
• HISTORY •
Little is known of his life before his adoption, but since he was young, Rajesh has been a much loved child of his parents. The eldest child and son of Adi and Benny Atreyu-Rehman, he is fiercely protective of his siblings, especially after the events he witnessed through the war. Growing up on a creature preserve, his love and understanding of animals both magical and mundane was a given, though his other interests are still being explored.
Starting at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry at customary age of 11, Rajesh was sorted into Ravenclaw and took to the house of knowledge like green on grass. One wasn’t to know that it was going to start so harsh though and the young boy struggled to deal with the events of his first year. As such he has become a touch more reserved though over the years it as started to soften.
During 5th year, Raj sat for his OWLs, earning an O in COMC and an E in Potions and Charms.
His 6th year proved to be most interesting as alone with many of his fellow students, Rajesh was 'blessed' with a gift by Peeves. For a better part of term he had the control over water though often it was the power that had control of him. In the end he helped Professor Hernandez in brewing the potion that would cure them all of their gifts.

He did his best to enjoy the term, splitting his attention between being a protective older brother and studying for his upcoming exams. Yumeki was born to Hotaro and Hana Kawatani in Osaka Japan in his Great-Parent’s Dojo on October 2nd 2092. At birth all Yumeki wanted to do was relax and nap. Even after his airways were cleared he had to get a nice spank to get him to start crying. He would make up for this in no time flat.
As a child Yumeki spent many hours excitedly watching his Muggle Uncle Akira play for the Baseball Team the Orix Blue Waves. He was one of the best, and the young Yumeki idolized him for his talent and power at the plate. When he got to visit him and his Aunt Rumi at her Robatayaki restaurant they were considered some of the best moments of his young life. His Young Life also saw the start of Great-Grandfather’s Bushido teachings, and Kendo training.
Yumeki took to them like a moth to the flame. Despite his lazy nature the way of the samurai was all too intriguing to him. Though winning any of the youth tournaments he was signed up for later in his youth was too much of a bother for him Yumeki showed exceptional skill in Kendo.
And then the magic happened. At Age 10 Yumeki’s latent magical abilities surfaced. A bit late for most his age but his parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents were all thrilled. The discussion wouldn’t even take a second, Yumeki would go to his family's alma mater. Where his great-grandmother once taught Astronomy, Himitsumahou School of Witchcraft & Wizardry.
Once he was of age, Yumeki went to Himitsumahou and was sorted into its White Kumi House. Yumeki once again became intrigued. With the School’s implementation of the Bushido teachings in their magic he was interested in how he could also become a Duelist using the same Kendo techniques in his wand work that he could with his sword. His Great-Grandmother’s old colleague and current Headmaster of Himitsumahou Ryunosuke Hollingberry would take him under his wing to help him train in Dueling, and continue his Kendo training while at School.
Then tragedy struck. During the Fall after his 1st semester. His Idol and Uncle, Akira died in a plane crash returning from America. What was to be a celebration of his Uncle’s ascension to the Major Leagues in the United States, turned into mourning for the loss of his life off the coast of Japan.
With Akira’s death, Yumeki became detached. While making friends was always a bit difficult for the young Kendōka, he outright refused to interact with anyone outside of his own family, or Ryunosuke-Sensei’s two nieces Yuki and Mitsuki Rasting. Deciding that Yumeki would need a new environment and to get out of Japan until he could cope with the loss of his Uncle his Parents moved to England at the end of his 2nd Term at Himitsumahou and they lived with his Grandparents in Birmingham. He was enrolled into Hogwarts over the Summer and starting his 3rd Year he was sorted into the Gryffindor House.
His 1st two years at Hogwarts weren’t anything to write home about. He would keep up his Kendo training on his own…whenever he felt the urge to wake up and do some. But he was starting to open up again to a few others in his New School, and during the Summers he would go back to Osaka and live with his Great-Grandparents and continue his Kendo training with them.

History:
Tapio was born in a small village in the province of Friesland in The Netherlands, the second son of a Dutch father and a Finnish mother. Although the inhabitants of Friesland (formerly known as Frisia) were historically known for their height, Tapio, at seven feet tall, is considered above the norm. Neither his parents nor any of his three siblings were unusually tall, so Tapio, with his height, his large hands and feet, and his angular features, has always stood out. When he was a child, he was teased by the other children for his appearance, although they stopped when he got big enough to challenge them. His parents did not approve of the curriculum or atmosphere of Durmstrang, so they sent their children to Koldovstoretz in Russia. There Tapio excelled at Herbology and Charms, and upon graduation, he served an internship at the Hortus Botanicus in Leiden, The Netherlands. This is a famous garden area among Muggles and Wizards alike, although the section containing magical plants is hidden from Muggle eyes by protective charms. Tapio continued working there as a gardener for several years after he completed his internship and then took a position as Herbologist at the Göttingen Alchemical Institute. During his tenure there, he met Isla Fraiser, a magical naturalist from Scotland who was at the Institute on sabbatical. They fell in love and eventually got married, after which Tapio moved to Scotland to work as a caretaker at the IMPA (Important Magical Plants Area) located in the Cairngorn Mountains. They had two sons, Fraser and Acton, who are now grown and pursuing higher education. When their youngest son Acton left to attend university, Tapio and Isla decided to downsize their home and moved to Fritham, Hampshire in England, which is located within the New Forest area. Isla has become newly active in her field and often goes on expeditions to find and study magical plants and animals, while Tapio took advantage of a vacancy in Herbology at Hogwarts and became a professor there. He later also became school librarian, and most recently was appointed as the Head of House for Hufflepuff.

Tapio learned early on that his grat size and angular features often intimidate others, so he has cultivated a very gentle demeanor, reluctant to give offense. He is gentle, patient, with a wry sense of humor. He is slow to anger, though he can be fiercely protective of those he loves or who are in his care if needed. He is both trustworthy and trusting, and he assumes others are also honest and straightforward, so he is sometimes vulnerable to deceit, although with experience he has learned to be less easily taken advantage of. Nora used to be carefree, full-of-life, and your typical, eleven-year-old giggling little girl. That personality is still buried deep down inside of her, but since she received her Hogwarts letter and found out she was some sort of witch, her personality has changed to adapt to that. She seems to walk around these days with a permanent look of 'what the heck' etched across her features. Her parents think she'll come around eventually, but Nora doesn't think so.

Nora had plans. BIG PLANS. None of those plans included Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. She was perfectly fine to continue living her normal, everyday life, until that stupid owl showed up and delivered some weird letter that told her it was time to completely change her life forever. She still wonders if she's actually been kidnapped and is part of some weird joke.
So needless to say, Nora isn't exactly thrilled to be at Hogwarts. Witches, wizards, and everything about the magical world only exists in fairy tales...right? Biography_ His Mother was smitten with the Southern Charm of a Visiting American Wizard who was studying abroad in Wales. She followed him back to America and they began dating. When the American Wizard found out she was pregnant with a child and wanted to raise the baby with him he modified her memory to remove any trace that he was a Wizard and skipped town making sure to leave no way for her to find him.
Though Heartbroken she decided to keep the child. Naming him Ywan Floyd Dewey. She remained in America for a time raising him as a single mother. Ywan and his Mama never stayed in one place for too long. She had lots of trouble keeping jobs, and was obsessed with finding the man who had fathered her baby boy. Desperate to give him the father figure he deserved. When Mama was sad she cuddled Ywan often. This attachment she gave toward Ywan was then reciprocated back toward her.
Ywan made friends easily, but was never upset to leave them behind since he loved Mama more. It wasn’t until They moved back to Wales to live with his Grandfather for financial support that he was spoiled less. His Pappy was a strict man who took no nonsense from anyone. Ywan found it fun to see what he could get away with while Pappy wasn’t looking. If Pappy caught him he was a grouchy sourpuss and Ywan had to always do extra chores around the house. Pappy was also super strict with Mama. She had re-enrolled back into University and also took a stable part-time job and told her to stay put and stop fantasizing about finding his old Father, and to start dating again. So Mama wasn’t home very much anymore, and if she was home sometimes another man was home with her. Ywan did everything in his small boy body’s power to make those guys leave. So that he would have time with Mama instead.
Once Mama brought home a Man that Ywan really really didn’t like. It was obvious that first of all, he was taking up precious Mama-Time. Secondly though he couldn’t quite tell. There was just a weird sense about him. Ywan got a bad headache and in the head splitting pain he began to make lots of things around the living room float around or break. That weird sense he was getting about the man that Mama brought home. Fate would have it that he was a Wizard and helped get Ywan to calm down. Ywan was not only a Wizard himself but had the potential to be a Seer.
Ywan still hated this Man, Dachs Knoebel, but he did help make headaches go away, and then he even helped him focus and turned those headaches into something more. Though his inner-eye was just as single-minded about his Mama as he was. The visions would always and only be about his Mama, and very mundane and useless bits of information. He would be Homeschooled by Dachs as well. Pulled from Primary School in Wales to begin his Education about the Wizarding World until he got his Letter to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry._

Full History:
Celeste was born the only of Cordelia and Edward Montgomery and coming from a long line of Gryffindors. She lived in Scotland growing up, attending Hogwarts once she turned 11. The family moved to Portugal her final years though she couldn't give up her place in the lion house so she made the extra trip. A good thing, given she fell in love with the love of her life her sixth year, his seventh, and she could never look back.
They took a year off after she graduated Hogwarts so they could travel a bit before getting married, starting university and adopting a five year old orphan all in the same year. Gideon, their second son was a surprise that arrived Christmas morning 2060, slowing her schooling down but never stopping it. Finally she graduated and threw herself into family life full time.
Celeste had planned to ease her way into the work force as Gideon grew up, guest lecturing at WU, but she had been sidelined when Andy's birth father had kidnapped her and Gideon when the boy was six nearly killing the woman. It was as she was recovering that the opportunity to teach had been placed in her lap and the rest is history.
Her kids are all grown now with at least one grandchild to speak of and the house an empty nest with Damien. She is quite enjoying teaching young minds and being around kids once more. HISTORY:
Vera was born to Renner and Avery Thanatos on November 4th, 2095, the second of two children with her brother beating her by measly minutes. The date itself, was fitting for the siblings, the first born children of their favorite candy man being on National candy day - something the parents joked about in pleased amusement.
Their early lives were easy and happy, time spent with their loving parents learning the multiple dialects of the area they lived. Renner, a Beauxbatons graduate, was able to help the children with their French while their mother and their early school encouraged conversation in Italian. Languages were something Vera learned to like early, because it just widened her range for nicknames if she knew what words meant in OTHER languages too!! When the twins were around 3, their parents had announced they were pregnant again and they could expect a younger sibling. Vera cried and cried for days, not wanting to be a middle child or have another Vasco, but her tune soon changed when she learned they were giving her a little SISTER this time. She then took on the doting older sister role, happily anticipating Vesper’s arrival.
Vesper came, and Vera loved little Scoot immediately - being far more forthcoming with her affection for the little sister than with her twin brother, though she secretly loved them all the same. Life continued to be happy for a short time, until Avery grew ill and by the time the kids had reached their 5th birthday, their mother had passed. The pain of the memories for the family was too hard with someone missing from their lives, so Renner packed them all up and moved to London where the family has since resided. Life continued as normally as it could, with all missing their mother and wife. Vera found it easier to channel her enthusiasm into being as loud and obnoxious as ever, trying to pretend she did not miss the gentle presence of their mum. And annoying her brother even more than she had previous, was just her attempt to distract him from his sadness as well.
With both their parents having been of magic origins, Vera very much expected she and Vasco would both receive letters inviting them to Hogwarts. But she was still over JOYED at her first signs of magic (she managed to turn a few of the stuffies in her room an array of colors) and even more so when she and Vas turned 11 and received their invitation to Hogwarts the next year.

Thanks to her idol Peevsie, Vera was given the gift of rainbow touch and used it as often as possible to change the color of EVEEEERYTHING. Her robes were always bright and her hair interesting shades. Attempted to sneak into Forbidden Forest with Logan only to then later give up the chance to legally enter Forbidden Forest in lieu of making a potions with Peeves (&co). There were difficult decisions this term, ok.
SPOILER!!: Third Year at a Glance
Perhaps one of the quietest terms to exist at Hogwarts. Participated in some shenanigans, including finding centaurs in the Forbidden Forest, with the older Gryffindor she looks up to Atlas Flamsteed. Got into a verbal sparring match with a portrait with Logan (would go as far as to say they won). Swam through the slug pit with Maria. Waded though the swamp in search of lost loot with Sailor Zhang and followed through with visiting his restaurant during summer break. Spent majority of the term plotting via mirror with her sister to set up their Dad. Receives a Hogwarts bucket list from now graduate Atlas Flamsteed cried a little when it happened
SPOILER!!: Fourth Year at a Glance
The term of feelings, which she very much did not enjoy. Realized she had a crush, fought said crush tooth and nail, finally gave in and moved to admittance. Also finally had very long overdue conversation with her brother, including beginning the process of dealing with her own grief on losing their mum (better late than never).
Notable moments - DADA with the note from Anna Walles and the embarrassing portrayal of being a goat (parchment doesn't taste good), making friends with Jasmine the Spinx, job fair (more embarrassment) and interview with Professor Paton which has spurred her to care about her studies (RIP fifth year) and look into potential careers with reptilian creatures.
SPOILER!!: Fifth Year at a Glance
OWL year meant a LOT of making up for the prior years in which she slacked off. Extra study sessions with Vasco for most subjects, and labs in the Room of Requirement with Leo for Potions, meant she didn't have a lot of time to notice what was going on around her at school. Could tell some of her favorite teachers and peers were acting... Off (later revealed they'd been replaced with mirror!selves) but there was no time to inquire or worry too deeply. However she DID find time to sneak in adventures here and there with Logan (study breaks), which only became more frequent after a Muggle Studies project in which they kissed. OWLs came and went and summer started, which meant a family vacation to Italy among her other responsibilities for summer and her and Logan finally getting together towards the end of summer.
SPOILER!!: Sixth Year at a Glance
Bought an invisibility cloak with her boyfriend before the term started - more adventures ensued with the help of this relic during the year. Also kept up with her studies more than year's previously (not OWL year level but.... also not every other year). Fit in plenty of time for all of her people and continued to ponder (read: panic) about the future that was looming WAY too close. Also Vasco got a crush which meant sister had to get overinvolved. (likes the girl well enough)

Personal History:
Maria’s parents Antoinette and Kingston divorced within a year of her birth. They hoped her arrival would mend their relationship, but it didn’t work out. So they have joint custody over Maria. Maria stayed primarily with her mum and summers with her dad. Her mother remarried in 2102 when Maria was six years old. She gets along alright with her stepfather. Over the years her mum and stepfather’s work increased and Maria started to feel lonely and began talking and exchanging letters with her father more often. Since her father Kingston now lives comfortably with working at the ministry her mother agreed that she could live with her father in order to attend Hogwarts. Early Years
When Penelope found out she was pregnant, she was at a loss. She had no contact with the father, and was in the middle of her degree. With a baby on the way, she dropped out of university and struggled, particularly after her parents died in a car accident and she lost her support network.
Penelope died in December 2099, when Tommy was six years old. He was immediately taken into care, and after an unsuccessful foster placement where his magic displayed itself for the first (recorded) time, social services decided the best place for him was Stemp House.
When Tommy asked Mrs Stemp to look into his father, no one was expecting it to end up being her eldest son. Corbin and Tommy were made aware of this, and both decided to not engage in a relationship. It was a difficult situation for Lorelai and Adam, who had now discovered they had a grandchild, but said grandchild did not want to acknowledge them as family. Discovering that, not only was his father someone he knew, but it was likely from him that he got his musical gifts, just made Tommy even more confused and angry than he had been.
Because his gift for music was the only thing that brought him anything close to joy. When he was at the piano in the music room, or reading sheet music, or listening to the radio, Tommy came close to being calm.
Though he tried to run away often, Tommy always ended up back at Stemp House. When he became overwhelmed and snuck out, one of the places he went to was an abandoned, overgrown park that had once been the garden to a manor house. The house was derelict and dangerous, but he knew how to access the roof, and with its view over the town down towards the canal, it quickly became his escape.
Hogwarts

Sorted into Ravenclaw. Disliked being in the same house as his biological father, but has learnt to live with it.
Dislikes the size of the castle, but enjoys the fact that it can feel empty even though there are hundreds of people there.
Often found skipping classes and breaking curfew just to experience the emptiness. His favourite place is was the music room, and he gets got irrationally angry when it is occupied.
Fifth Year
Plenty of fights with Jerome Lascher, particularly after the other boy made remarks about Mrs Stemp and stole some of the Stemp House residents files. Tommy was not happy with the fact that Rome now knew his secrets.
Started to develop a relationship with Corbin. They bonded over their shared love of music, with Corbin encouraging Tommy to learn new instruments and styles of playing. Corbin also took Tommy to a boxing gym, where the young boy strengthened physical combat skills he’d already been learning at Stemp House and started weight training.
Tommy started working at one of Corbin’s businesses, Molly's Chambers, a jazz bar in London. He mainly collected glasses and cleaned up, though he was often found performing on open mic nights and quiet evenings.
Their relationship was still rocky and strained.
Met Hermione Knight. Thought she was trying to poison him during one of their initial interactions. Became close due to their shared love of music, and the losses they had experienced. Still refused to open up about much, but the more time they spent together, the more his feelings for Hermione deepened.
During the summer, took Hermione to his favourite place, his escape from life. Told her about playing at Corbin's bar, though he left out his relationship with the man, and invited her to sing with him there. Although he wouldn't admit it, introducing Hermione to Corbin was massive to him, and the man could see how smitten the teenager was straight away.
Surprisingly, he passed the majority of his OWLs, even though he didn't really work towards them. Failed Transfiguration. Decided to resit it during his sixth year.
Sixth Year
Continued to spend time with Hermione, playing music and trying (and completely failing) to open up to her. (Ir)rationally jealous of her friendship with Jerome Lascher.
Met Ariadne Ackerly, a transfer student who also boxed. Spared together, became tentative friends. Actually relaxed around her.
Caught Haven Zhang pickpocketing. Pickpocketed her because he could. Played for her. Kissed her because it was nice to feel wanted. Snuck out to go to a gig together.
Fought competitively during Christmas. Did not end well. Became withdrawn and didn't speak to anyone on his return to Hogwarts. Got hurt and angry that Hermione didn't seek him out.
Started to feel better. Opened up to Hermione about nearly quitting music when he found out who his dad was. Wrote and recorded a song and gave it to her for Valentines day. Saw her kissing Jerome and went on an angry rampage, destroying a guitar in the music room. Felt guilty the next day and repaired it and restrung it. Went back to ignoring Hermione. Hated himself for giving her 'his soul on a recording'.
Told Ariadne about giving Hermione the recording. Told Kissed Ariadne. Dun Dun Dun.
Argued with Hermione about her 'boyfriend' in the library. Got angry and upset when she told him she couldn't feel the way he wanted her too. Said something that made her realise who Corbin was. Demanded the recording back but she refused.
Someone died. Left school to deal with that. Finally opened up to Lorelai. Started thinking of her as Lorelai instead of Mrs Stemp. Turned seventeen. Cried because he was still lonely.
Returned to school. Argued with Ariadne for leaving without giving her a proper reason. Gave her a proper reason. Regretted it. Argued about him telling her Hermione and Jerome were together when they weren't because he'd jumped to conclusions.
Conclusions are easy.
Agreed to start sparring with Ariadne again. Started to become closer again. Relaxed and playful around her.

personality type: ISTP-t The Virtuoso Tommy is a loner, though this is more from his lack of being able to navigate social situations and believing the worst in people than wanting to be alone. Deep down, he is desperate for friendship and even affection, though his early life has left deep rooted scars that mean he avoids this at all cost. He is a naturally gifted musician, and will spend all of the time he can playing instruments or listening to or writing music. Knowing that he inherited this gift from his father is something he has struggled to come to terms with, and is a fact he has learned to ignore.
Anxious and angry, Tommy can be aggressive and impulsive. He takes his anger out with music, football and punching bags, and has learned to somewhat control it in recent years.

Born on the 25 of February 2061 to wizarding parents, Gareth Denton (b. 2030) and Nevaeh Clark (b. 2030), was the special young witch of Marilyn.... Fairly normal childhood, growing up in Wales she always had a keen interest in building and creating things. But also LOVED old muggle music. It was during her final year of wizarding university in 2082 that she attended a cover band for a 100-year anniversary special of ABBA. And where she met a handsome muggle-music obsessed wizard by the name of Gregory Sayse. Their courtship didn't last long and just three years later she gave birth to a baby boy, Sawyer Sayse, giving ode to the ABBA song "SOS" in his initials. But there's more, as the lovebirds unexpectedly decided to have child number two less than a year later. Introducing another 'SOS' into the midst, as Skeet Sayse. While Skeet was always the rebellious one, Marilyn showed both boys the utmost love and respect and empathy that one can expect from a former Hufflepuff.
After thirty years in the freelance world of charms research and development, coupled with raising a family and trying to keep her boys in line (who were now grown men), Marilyn made a grand decision to return to Hogwarts as their new Charms Professor to continue shaping the young minds of the future
