Bio: Born to Oakey and Ariana Gunter prematurally 2 months before his due date Mark was at risk of not living but thanks to the efforts of the Gunter’s Family Friend, and his Older Sister’s Godfather, Dylan Montmorency he survived. He attended St. Woboldo’s Primary School in his Early years. Mark did not develop his latent magical powers until half a year past his 9th Birthday, having gotten them later than Xaria there was the chance Mark would be a Squib but after a little fight over stepping on his clay sculptures, they exploded. The two siblings would have to clean themselves off of bits of clay and the living room in which the clay scattered so that the Family dog wouldn’t eat any of it.
Personality: Mark has very detail-oriented-mind, and a very curious nature. If there is something new he hadn’t known about before he will go out of his way to find out as much about it as possible. He is also a very creative individual. Having been given Legos and sculpting clay at a young age by his parents to express his detailed mind onto them. Which he has recently begun to also put to paper with pencil, ink, and paint. Mark has learned to gain impressive patience with the antics his Sister had always got herself into, but is jealous of how much attention it gives her.

Drewett would be what most would consider as socially awkward. In fact, he really is. As a kid, he was very much enthusiastic and naturally curious about everything. He was well-loved by his parents and they gave him whatever they can, but not to the point of spoiling him. He was taught to work hard for things, so he can learn how to persevere and find accomplishment amidst struggles. However, when his known family all passed away, a lot of the events greatly affected Drewett. His once happy disposition became quiet, introverted, and fidgety. He is always seen either with a book or a Rubik's cube in hand, which he uses to keep himself busy and try not to draw attention to himself. He prefers to be part of the audience or support group instead of the spotlight, thus spontaneous class recitations mostly make him panic. Once he gets to know someone and find even just a small bit of comfort in their company, Drewett will eventually learn to warm up and speak up. He has shown improvement every year in his speech therapy sessions during the summer.

Early Life
American witch Catherine Wheeler had a dream as a child: to become an auror. After graduation from Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, the former Horned Serpent pursued a degree in wizarding law at the Edinburgh campus and, at the same time, trained under the YATI program of the British Ministry of Magic. As an aspiring auror, she met muggle-born Andrew Slinkhard, a Hufflepuff graduate of Hogwarts, who had the same goal as she did. Both YATIs had a tough love kind of relationship, with their big dreams and unfaltering determination to reach them. Often times, they were competitive and spent a significant number of hours trying to beat each other up in the exercise room in between training. Eventually, after becoming full-fledged aurors, the two began a relationship--one that would last a lifetime. The couple then tied the knot on July 2082 and settled as a family in Bristol.
On 12th May the next year, their marriage was further blessed with the birth of their first son, whom they named Drewett as a slight portmanteau of both their first names. Young Drewett was raised to be a happy and well-loved child. By the age of three, he was able to show his first signs of magic by making his favourite toy, a hippogriff plush, float back to him when Catherine was fixing up the nursery. He had also grown a fondness for visual patterns and superheroes, which was Andrew's influence. On his sixth birthday, he was given his first 3x3 Rubik's cube as a present from his father.
All good things came to an end by September of 2089. Both Catherine and Andrew were tasked to track down and arrest the suspect behind dark magic activities after a lead was tipped off at the office, which ultimately led to their deaths when it all turned out to be another scheme. The brutal details of Catherine and Andrew's deaths were kept from their son, who was only six at that time. Drewett was then taken under the care of his father's older brother, uncle Tommen Slinkhard. Staying with his muggle uncle proved to be short-lived for young Drewett when the older Slinkhard succumbed into sickness, an aftereffect from years of vices and old age, as he could no longer care for his nephew. This eventually led to Drewett's residency at the Stemp House, on the year 2090. The loss of his only known family left seven-year-old Drewett alone and traumatised. His once happy disposition turned to introversion and anxiety, from mild nail-biting habits to panic attacks.
Initially awkward and kept mostly to himself with the company of his cubes, it took years for Drewett to finally be accustomed to the life at the Stemp House. He learned to warm up to his fellow residents, realising that they all shared the same painful truth of having no one but each other. He made friends with Jordan Flint, Mercy Rowbotham, Xaira Kennedy, Maeve Walsh, Christiana Hobday, Cordelia "Dia" Winklebleck, Palmer Twelvetrees and many others. On his eleventh birthday, he received his Hogwarts acceptance letter.
Drewett lived in the Stemp House for eight years, under the guardianship of Adam and Lorelai Stemp, before he was officially adopted by Oakey and Ariana Gunter on December 2098. He has since lived with the Gunters and their children—Xaria, Mark, and Cairo—in their lake home at East Sussex.

◇ The History
Sterling was born on a cold February day in Liverpool, England to John and Keeva Calrissian. Life was pretty normal for the young witch, spending the days being doted on by her parents, playing with her friends, all the normal kid things. Until one day, her father got an urgent phone call from the States. Turns out, his mother’s health had taken a turn for the worse. It was decided that John and his small family would be the ones to return to his hometown of Fayetteville, Arkansas to help care for her. Sterling was five at the time, so not only did she have face starting school, she had to do it in a strange town. But the young witch adapted was well as she could, though she had a hard time fitting due to, among other things, her ‘fancy accent’. She was never happier than when she received her letter to Illvermorny. Eagerly, she packed her bags for the Northern school, regretting only that she had to return to Arkansas every summer.
Until the summer between her fourth and fifth years, that was. Her mother and father sat her down and explained that, while they still loved her very much, they weren’t able to make their marriage work anymore. They divorced, with Keeva moving back to Liverpool with Sterling. The young witch was sad to leave her friends at Illvermorny but is excited to be back in England among what she calls ‘her people’.

Early Years:
Marcel and Emilia Kowalski welcomed their second child and only son on 15th November 2084, but not everyone was so happy - two and a half years old, Maja was used to being an only child and wasn't overjoyed at sharing her parents (particularly her fathers) attention with a baby. As a result, she grew fairly jealous and started acting out, but this only lasted for about half a year, when she realised that her father remained tightly wrapped around her little finger.
Jó attended the same Wizarding Primary School as his sister, but was very unimpressed when his parents refused to let her attend Hogwarts - if it was safe enough for their cousins, then it was safe enough for him. So, in September 2093, his mission began: Convince Parents to Let Him Go to Hogwarts™.
His mission was a success and their parents agreed to let him start Hogwarts in September 2096, sending his sister along to "keep an eye on him", a statement he didn't sneer at as much as he wanted to. Telling his parents that he didn't need to be looked after and that he was perfectly fine going on his own brought the risk of an argument, and the chance that he wouldn't get to go at all, so he kept his mouth shut.
Ever since he could understand it, Józef was fascinated by Quidditch and dragged his parents to as many matches as he could. He began playing in recreational teams at the age of seven and dreams of becoming a famous keeper one day. Although he and Maja get along, his biggest influence is his older cousin, Flynn - Flynn is The Coolest Person To Ever Live (probably)™ and Józef spends a lot of his time trying to achieve said level of cool, often by mimicking things Flynn does, wearing sunglasses inside, and trying to contain the almost explosive levels of excitement he often feels.
During the summer before starting his first year, he planned his second mission: The Badge Heist™. Having ogled it from afar, he decided to steal his cousins Slytherin Prefect Badge - after all, it was going to be him some day, but why did he have to wait for the staff to give it to him in a few years?
He succeeded - on his last visit to see his cousin, it seemed that Flynn had put his badge onto Archie's fridge. How silly. How precarious. How unprotected. It almost seemed that Flynn had left it out in the open for Jó to steal.
How interesting.
Hogwarts:
2096-97 : Term 50 : First Year With the promise to return it (of course), Józef pinned the Slytherin Prefect Badge to his jumper and sat in the Prefects' Compartment on his first journey on the Hogwarts Express. It wasn't a complete success, irritating a lot of people seemingly, but he got to Hogwarts (mostly) unscathed, and with the badge still intact, so he's counting it as one.
His sorting was, in his own mind, an absolute disaster: the Sorting Hat announced him a Gryffindor without even spending a SECOND on his head. It was ridiculous - he hadn't even had the opportunity to argue his case for Slytherin. It was a joke. Anyone could clearly see that he was a BORN Slytherin, and now he was going to have to live with these Lions.
But being a Gryffindor wasn't completely bad - he did get chosen as the starting Keeper for the Quidditch Team, which of course cemented in his mind that he was far superior to most first years. He skipped S.O.R.E. a couple of times, resulting in the ugly 'TROLL' pimples on his forehead, and had his fair share of detentions - most notably for walking out on a Divination lesson.
2097-98 : Term 51 : Second Year After making the Quidditch team for his second year, this time as chaser, Józef was benched along with Zoryn and Faith for the Polyjuice Potion Prank they pulled in a charms lesson, were along with some other students they attended the class disguised as Slytherin Prefect Maxton Carden (it was a fate Max deserved, as according to Joey he didn't live up to the legacy that Flynn had left behind).
2098-99 : Term 52 : Third Year Józef was NOT voted 'Most Likely to Drop Their Wand In The Toilet' and is very annoyed at being confused for that kid. He was 'Most Likely to Try to Fight the Mist', and honestly? Why wasn't he given the chance?!
2099-00 : Term 53: Fourth Year The news that they would be heading to Beauxbatons for a Term was not exactly the news Józef hoped for (was he still hoping for a chance to fight the mist?), and it was so much worse than he had expected it to be. The Castle felt stuffy and superior, and the food was just... not good. The portraits were more stuck up than the kids, and the fourth year lost many a staring contest with them. To top it all off, there was no Quidditch to be played.
He just had to be glad that he wasn't in the broom closet - thank Merlin he'd not ended up in Slytherin after all.
2100-01 : Term 54 : Fifth Year With his best friend, Lucas Dakest, the new Gryffindor Prefect, many would think that Józef may start to toe the line a bit. Of course, he saw this as a chance to get away with the most, hoping that Lucas liked him too much to punish him. Trying to maintain his non-existent 'cool' exterior, Józef made a show of not revising for his OWLs, claiming he didn't need to and he didn't care. However, nights would often be spend with the curtains of his four-poster drawn and his wand lighting up the textbooks under his covers. If he failed, he knew that his parents would take his broom from him, and with the school already cancelling that years Quidditch Cup, he desperately didn't want that to happen.
He also discovered the Vengaboys, and a growing suspicion of portraits arose after his close friend Stella briefly replaced the Fat Lady, and the House Founders started wandering around.
The summer after his fifth year, due in no small part to his attitude, Józef was replaced as the starting Keeper for the Poland Under-17's Quidditch team. He told none of his friends or schoolmates this, and would still act as though he had played. During this summer, Willa Parker Emerson also asked him to be her boyfriend, and whilst Józef wasn't comfortable with the lable, he did agree to become exclusive with her, which he saw as a middle ground.

Józef has a poor memory, a short temper (although this has mellowed out over the years) and an even shorter attention span, causing him to be easily distracted, a bit of a fidget, and the worst at losing his things. He hasn’t yet reached the age where he distrusts many people and automatically assumes the best of people. He is a terrible liar, although he likes to imagine that he is skilled at it, and is close to his sister, but worships his cousin Flynn - something his mother is not impressed by in the slightest. He’s still trying to figure out who he is, and despite evidence to the contrary thinks he is incredibly cool, and lets other people know this by wearing sunglasses inside. Although he would not admit it easily, he is fairly superstitious, refusing to walk under ladders and getting worried if a black cat crosses his path.

WOOD: Juniper
Juniper is an aromatic, wood which varies pleasantly in colour from milky white, to deep reddish-brown with attractive swirling patterns in the grain. It is most attracted to honest and compassionate individuals, and well suited to healing spells, defensive magic and protection spells. An interesting characteristic of a wand fashioned from Juniper is that it is very rarely obtained by thievery or unsavoury means, and indeed will often find its way back to its owner if it is somehow misappropriated. It has commonly been said that, 'If you carry three juniper berries in your pocket you can travel the forest without fear, drink from the springs without harm, and ride the wind' and indeed many wandmakers believe Juniper as a wand wood carry these same characteristics. Juniper wands are able to purify water sources and free them from poison, and those who own a wand of this wood tend to be accomplished at apparition and flying.

Hippogriffs are intensely proud creatures, and an individual must show proper respect by bowing to them and waiting for them to bow in return before approaching. Eye contact should be maintained at all times without a single blink. The Hippogriff should be allowed to make the first move as it's polite. If offended, it may attack. Hippogriffs are tameable, but only by experts in their care. Although proud, they can also be fiercely loyal and protective of those who have earned their trust. ✦ History ✦ Jackson can vaguely remember hanging out with her cousins Kye, Aurelia, and Lucas as a small child, but then there was a big fight between his parents and theirs. He had no idea what had happened, but he never saw his cousins again after that... That is until the summer after he turned 11. Receiving his letter to Hogwarts had caused an uproar in his household. His parents were very happy with their non-magical ways and had told Jackson that he would have to choose between leading a magical life or being welcome in their home. After a lot of tears and yelling, Jackson packed his things and sent a letter to his Aunt Kamala and Uncle Aureliano to let them know that he was coming. He vaguely remembered his aunt telling him before they had left that if he should ever need anything, to let them know. Was this what she had been talking about? He left for their house the next morning, and reconnected with the magical side of the family.
Since then, he has been living at the Atwater's estate. Kye helped him study during the first summer, until he had felt more comfortable with his new life. During the summer before his third year, he finally let his aunt know how badly the separation was starting to affect him and she offered to buy him an owl. Unsure of what kind of reaction (if any) he would get, Jackson wrote his mother a letter simply saying that he was okay and that he missed her. On the back he wrote instructions... in case she had decided that she wanted to write him back. He tried not to keep his hopes up, and after his fourth year had started a week later he had already figured she had ignored his post. It had taken her some time, but she couldn't ignore the letter from her son. By now, it had been a little over three years since she had seen him. Although still uncomfortable with magic, she apologized for how things had escalated and how she probably would have wrote him had she not burned her sister's address when she married a wizard. Although a bit clumsy at first, the two became pen pals and during the summer before his fifth year he met his parents for dinner in their home.
Although tense at the start, things seemed to soften near the end and he even hugged his mother on his way out. His father nodded and awkwardly left the room, muttering about needing to check this or that. It was a positive sign, believe it or not. His parents both seemed to be loosening up. After his fifth year, Jackson went back to his parents' house for a week long visit. It went very well and led to his mother thinking of visiting them in England later in the summer.
Running in to Anna at the Menagerie, he adopted his Maine Coon kitten, Cat Eye Moody.

A bit of history:
Foster was born to a typical American wizarding family. He grew up surrounded by loving parents and grandparents. He attended Ilvermorny and was placed in Horned Serpent house, where he grew into a formidable wizard. His lack of sporting skills only drove him to excel in other areas, landing him leader of the Arithmancy club and tutor to underclassmen.
He met the girl he thought would be his wife during his sixth year of school. They dated exclusively throughout their remaining time at Ilvermorny and even completed their undergraduate degrees together. He proposed to Jenny the day he received is acceptance to graduate school, which she agreed to. Jenny began her career working for the Magical Congress of the United States when he left for graduate school. The distance put a great stress on their relationship and eventually caused them to call off the engagement.
Once Foster completed his advanced degrees, he took on a position at Ilvermorny as assistant professor of Arithmancy. However, his heart continued to ache from the loss of his love and when the position at Hogwarts became available, he immediately applied.
Foster is determined to make the most of his new position and to start a new life, away from the heartache and memories. He has high hopes of finding a new life and becoming the outstanding professor he knows he can be.

**Backstory**
Arthuria Ygraine Ambrosious was born during an early-spring snowstorm in Glastonbury, England at the Ambrosious' Manor. She was given the name Arthuria to honor her maternal grandfather. A little brother, Emrys, was born just before Arthuria turned 5 in 2090 but the baby did not make it longer then 2 weeks before dying from cold exposure. Though she was very young Arthuria remembers her brother and intends to honor him with a tattoo when she is old enough, for now she wears his semi-precious gemstone of Pink Tourmaline in a ring on her pinkie finger. There are rumors that Arthuria's mother is descended from the Lady of Avalon, Vivienne du Lac.
her mother wanted her to have experience in interacting and socializing with muggles and so enrolled her daughter into a muggle public school, to the protests of Arthuria's grandmother, who feared for her granddaughter should the muggles realize she was a witch.
She was positively received as even as a child Arthuria was a kind, caring and loving child (especially of animals) who loved to make those around her happy though this seemed to draw bullies to her as well. She was not one to back down and would protect the shyer students from the class bullies. It so happened that she was protecting a newly transfered student from a few of the boys in her class when her anger sent the muggle boy flying backwards into the chalkboard, giving him a nasty concussion. Though she was horrified with herself her mother thought it best to pull Arthuria out of the muggle school and educate her at home, Arthuria sent homebaked cookies to the boy and an apology letter.
Her love of reading was evident and was something her family indulged her in. it was when she turned 9 that her love and gift for writing surfaced and resulted in her first journal (which started her on her daily journal writing). After the incident at the muggle school Arthuria showed a determination in learning to control her magic. It was the year before she received her letter to Hogwarts did the final of Arthuria's gifts presented themselves to the girl: the ability to see the past of inanimate objects if she held it and concentrated long enough. To her relief it did not work on other human beings.

Lucas was born on the 16th of December 2084 to proud parents, Sabel and Arya Dakest. He is the second child and the oldest boy and generally known as being the quiet one. Because of his job as an Auror and the number of undercover jobs he’d taken on, Sabel wasn’t around as much during Lucas’s childhood as he’d have liked. This, inevitably, took a toll on the young boy, who viewed Sabel as less of a father figure and more as a strange man. Whenever he’d come around, he’d shy away to his mother, whom he looked towards for comfort and protection.
After a certain point, Sabel ended up getting a regular job within the Ministry, and then within Hogwarts as a Defence Against the Dark Arts Professor. Soon afterwards, he ended up devoting more and more time to the family. While this meant that Lucas ended up seeing more and more of his father, and therefore becoming used to seeing him around, it didn’t mean that he was comfortable around the man - and he still isn’t.
When he started showing signs of magic, Lucas was enrolled into St Woboldo’s Primary School on Hexagon Alley. During his time at the school, he was a pretty diligent boy but he kept to himself most of the time. Friends weren’t something he had a lot of during primary school, nevermind close friends. This might’ve only helped to intensify any lack of social skills he’d had. When he wasn’t at school, he spent a large amount of time doing numerous activities in the outdoors, and especially spent time in the Kettleburn estate next door. The Dakest family frequently visit Grandfather Keith in Canada and the Lovegoods’ in Brazil, both events being ones that Lucas isn’t particularly thrilled about.
When Emma received her letter and went off to Hogwarts, Lucas was left in a state of confusion. While he was generally overjoyed by his older sister following in their parents’ footsteps, it meant that he spent the majority of the years on his own. These two years made him feel more alone than ever and it was probably because of this that he ended up becoming more closed off than usual. It was only in the summer of 2096 that he perked up again because of the arrival of his very own Hogwarts letter.
FIRST YEAR:

The start of a new school year, though exciting, proved to be a highly nerve-wracking experience for Lucas. He was excited to finally be at Hogwarts, to be in the one place he'd heard many, many stories about, but there was no denying the feeling of anticipation that flooded him from the moment he set foot in the castle. What if he wasn't sorted into a house? What if he didn't belong anywhere? What then?
But the Sorting Hat placed him in Gryffindor, with the hope that this would, ultimately, allow the young boy to break out of his shell. There was also a remark made about being more similar to his father than he'd care to admit but this was something Lucas chose to ignore. Instead, he was ecstatic about being in the same house as Emma, mostly because it meant that he'd still get to spend a lot of time with her. Maybe this year wouldn't be so bad, right?
Wrong.
Headmistress Regina Hawthorne was abdicated from her role and replaced by Headmaster Julian Scrimgeour. This didn't bother Lucas too much, especially seeing as this was only his the start of his first year, but the result of this hit him the following morning when he, along with everyone else, was woken up at the crack of dawn by an alarm and an announcement. Everyone was to go down to the Quidditch Pitch to take part in S.O.R.E. (Special Obligatory Running Exercises), where they were required to run five laps around the pitch. This didn't sit well with the first year, who wasn't much for exercise and wanted nothing more than to be in bed.
But the changes weren't going to end there. A set of new rules came about, ones that started off mild but grew to be worse and worse as the year went by. Unfortunately for him, Lucas found himself gaining recognition from almost every lesson he went to - and not the good kind, either. From being punished with pushups for saying hello to Prefect Abra (Felixir) - something the boy still stands by - to simply being punished for not offering an answer, the boy found his first year becoming not as fun as he'd expected it to be. To make matters worse, any letters home were censored, so telling his Mama about the goings on were out of the question, as were late night snacks and chats with Emma.
There were a few positives throughout the year, but they were few and far between and it was no wonder that Lucas was glad to reach the end of the year. He was even more glad to realise that the new students at Hogwarts - whom he'd hardly noticed much before because, well, everyone was new to him - were old, recently sacked professors in disguise. It felt a little weird to know that the old professors had been right under his nose and he didn't know - that they had probably even shared dorms with some students - but all of that was masked by his feeling of relief from the news that they'd brought with them. That for his second year, there was going to be no more Headmaster Scrimgeour and his ridiculous regime.
SECOND YEAR:

Lucas's second year started off with less of a fizzle and more of a bang. There were a number of changes made, especially in terms of staff, but that was dulled in comparison to what soon transpired amongst the students, all because of a goblet of pumpkin juice.
As the feast kicked off, the pumpkin juice at the house tables were spiked with love potion (by Zoryn Spinnet (ArianaBlack) and Cameron Tamesis (Lislchen)), one that made the drinker fall in love with the first person they set their eyes on. Lucas ended up becoming a victim of said love potion, allowing him to become more confident and slightly clingier than he would normally allow himself to be. But the worst part? The worst part was that his person of desire that evening was none other than one of his bestest friends, Józef Kowalski (Harron Peasley). No common sense was awake in his brain that evening, just that he needed to express his love for his friend as much as possible.

The following day - and weeks - proved to be a highly embarrassing experience. He was left with the knowledge that he'd acted a certain way and said certain things that he was sure he would never be able to live down. While Jó found it funny - and was still cool about it - Lucas wanted to hide forever, especially from the other Gryffindor, but that wasn't an option. And it was certainly not something he could keep up for the entirety of the year, even if he wanted to.
The year continued with a series of events that, compared to the previous year, were more light-hearted and less serious. After all, there were only fluffy little pink creatures roaming around the school and eating furniture. This wasn't going to be bad, right?
Wrong.
The series of events steadily grew to be worse and worse, with some of his classmates becoming furrier than they were. Some were his age and growing facial hair! Already! But this ended up becoming even worse when it turned out that Professor Dopple ended up becoming eaten alive by one of the mutants. That single piece of news struck something within the second year, and he found that he had gone from feeling meh to feeling straight up terrified. It was only halfway through the school year but he already wanted to be home for the holidays.
This feeling only deepened and grew worse, causing the boy to become more isolated than before. He also found that he was looking at Józef a little differently than he did before. All of these feelings intensified until, one day, he ended up bursting out during a single conversation. Accusations had been thrown around, whether intentional or not, but he didn't like the sound of them in the slightest. Maybe it was because of the situation - two tables had been eaten by one of the mutants while he was standing there - or because Ministry officials had burst in to capture the mutants. Either way, he was lucky to have scraped by this interaction with not so much as a detention.
Needless to say, Lucas was very happy to reach the end of the school year.
THIRD YEAR:

Unlike the previous two years, Lucas's third year kicked off with little to no drama, something the third year was incredibly happy about. In fact, apart from animals moving out of the forest, the majority of the beginning of the year was relatively calm and uneventful. But surely some animals moving away from the forest was nothing to worry about, right?
However, a personal storm arrived in the form of a love interest that stemmed and flowered throughout the year. As it turns out, his constant obsession with Józef Kowalski and how the potion had made him feel towards his dormmate was mostly because of his growing feelings for said dormmate and had little to do with any guilt or embarrassment he might've been feeling. Needless to say, this realisation hit him like a ton of bricks, especially when he started exhibiting various signs of romantic attraction towards him.
And the alone times with Jó didn't help in the slightest.
But sharing his feelings? Disclosing these pieces of information to his dormmate? Both sounded impossible and so, Lucas ended up talking to someone he was comfortable enough to talk to about something like this: Emma. Alone time with his older sister helped him make sense of his feelings more than anything else could have. And despite the fact that she wasn't attracted to boys, her sense and reasoning made him realise that he was.
Meanwhile, there were bigger problems on the horizon, namely for Hogwarts itself. The number of animals moving away from the forest grew, now bringing with them words of warning. The temperatures around the castle dropped, bringing with it a mist that seemed a little unusual, even for the Scottish highlands. It wasn't long before the mist moved, and engulfed the surrounding grounds around the castle.
Uh oh, indeed.
To add salt to the wound, two students (Kamryn and Teddy) were proclaimed to be missing, which only heightened the feeling of anxiousness within the castle and within the Gryffindor himself. In fact, it was news of Teddy's disappearance that hit him the most, especially seeing as he was quite close to the boy himself. While he doesn't know what happened to the Ravenclaw, he still doesn't have a good feeling about the situation at all.
Paranoia and cabin fever sunk in, just as quickly as the mist sunk into the castle itself. The bottom floors were engulfed by the mist, leaving Slytherins and Hufflepuffs without a dorm and the school without access to the Great Hall and classes on the lower floors. While the Hufflepuffs were bunking with the Ravenclaws, the Slytherins bunked with the Gryffindors, much to Lucas's displeasure. The common room was even more crowded and boisterous than he would've liked, making him feel oddly claustrophobic. It was probably because of this that he spent as much time away from the common room as possible.
However, changes were quickly occurring as the mist looked like it wasn't going to stop anytime soon. Not even a DERP intervention could do the trick. Headmaster Trent soon called for an emergency evacuation to the Three Broomsticks, where they were to lodge and continue their studies until the end of the term. Again, Lucas wasn't entirely happy with this situation given the change of scenery, and what looked like a relatively okay start of term was quickly becoming a terrible end.
Needless to say, he was, once again, happy to be going home.
FOURTH YEAR:

Before his fourth year even started, Lucas received news that was a sure sign that the year was going to be far from ordinary. News reached the Gryffindor that the following year was going to be spent at Beauxbatons, causing him to become even more unhappy than he had been before. A mist wasn't the best situation to be stuck in, but to go to school in a completely new environment for the duration of a year? If anything, he was far from comfortable with this.
The second of September was when they arrived at the Beauxbatons castle, and it was then that he gathered a feeling for what the school was going to be like. Fancy, elegant, and pristine were all words he often used to describe the grandeur of the castle. While they're not necessarily terrible, these aspects only made Lucas feel more like a stranger at the castle than he already did, deepening any sense of uncomfortableness he was feeling.
Classes continued as normal - or as close to normal as they could, given the circumstances. But drama soon had its way of rearing its head, and this magical year was no different. A situation broke out in a Care of Magical Creatures lesson, during which some of Desmarais' precious roses were suddenly ruined. However, there were stranger occurrences springing up in other locations. The kitchens caught aflame, the Ombrelune Common Room decor was altered, and, worst of all, the Observatory was tattered. Lucas was truly heartbroken at seeing possibly his favourite space torn asunder.
However, things turned from bad to worse when the decorations for the upcoming Valentine's Day Ball was suddenly destroyed. While Lucas didn't particularly care about a ball, he found that he couldn't ignore the situation entirely, not when he received a letter stating that there was solid evidence incriminating him of a serious crime. Needless to say, this news was enough to cause the Gryffindor to instantly start panicking, regardless of whether the accusations had any basis to them or not.
The resulting disciplinary meeting was chaotic, to say the least. The students from Beauxbatons gave statements against the Hogwarts students who were accused of various crimes, with Lucas being accused of destroying the Observatory. The fourth year was particularly upset that he'd been falsely accused of doing such a thing, especially given the nature of the room and how much he loved Astronomy. It seemed barbaric, almost nonsensical.
But with the accusations came an upheaval, with Desmarais eventually deciding that she had had enough and the Hogwarts students should be kicked out. Luckily for the Hogwarts students and staff, Professor de Nostredame came into clutch with the truth behind what's been occurring. As it turns out, the disasters had been caused by a creature who went on to start a fire in the rose garden that Desmarais is so fond of.
Uh oh.
The creature responsible for the disasters turned out to be a dragon that the Beauxbatons students had smuggled into the castle. Once the fire had been dissolved and the creature had been contained, Desmarais had a change of heart in regards to the Hogwarts guests. With the guests being allowed to stay, a ball was still held for the students to enjoy, something that Lucas was severely unhappy about. It was a crowded, overly claustrophobic environment but if anything, a silver lining arrived with the news that they would, in fact, be returning to Hogwarts in the next school year.

FIFTH YEAR:

During the summer before his fifth year, Lucas enrolled into a summer internship program within the Ministry of Magic. Given his love for Astronomy, applying to the Department of Mysteries seemed like the best solution, even moreso given the fact that the department head of the Department of Mysteries is best friends with his father and used to teach him science when he was a little kid. Perfect opportunity, right?
Needless to say, he was accepted into the internship program, much to his pleasure. However, on the first day, he found himself working alongside two very headstrong girls, Nina Castillo and Mackenzie Motts, whom he'd hardly spoken to, which only left him feeling a lot more worried and nervous about this experience than he expected to be.
The tasks given to them were a little less exhilarating than he expected them to be, largely because of the fact that there are a lot of secretive documents in the Department of Mysteries that they weren't allowed to go near. However, he soon found that he had something else to worry about when he reached home one day to find an official looking letter sitting on his desk. Exhausted, the Gryffindor flopped on his bed and wasted no time in tearing it open, only to find a badge tumble out of the envelope along with a letter from Headmaster Trent congratulating him for becoming the new Gryffindor Male Prefect.
Shocked? He was.
As quiet as he stayed, nothing could've stopped the fifteen year old from internally screaming to his heart's content. Him? A prEFECT?! It seemed ridiculous, even if it seemed to be something that his mum was very proud of. Weren't Prefects supposed to be extroverted and reliable and good at following the rules? He was none of those things. In fact, trying to get Gryffindors to follow the rules sounded like it was going to be a difficult task.
And it was.
His arrival to Hogwarts on the 1st of September was met with a lot of attention from people he knew and didn't know, mostly because of a certain badge pinned to his chest. As it turned out, the Prefect badge only seemed to garner the one thing he didn't ask for: more attention. Lucas found himself bombarded with congratulatory messages - and some words of jealousy - and he found himself not knowing how to react to any of that.
When fifth year classes started, he found that he had bigger things to worry about: OWLs. Fifth year classes consisted of mainly messages about how important the OWLs are and how important it was to study for them. With the Prefect duties he had to carry out, as well as all the extra revision that these tests demanded, he found his fifth year being more full than he would've liked it to have been. As a result, his mood suddenly sunk lower than he expected it to.
However, the castle was full of the regular drama that makes up every school year, and this year was no different. It didn't take long for him to pick up on stories of people coming out of their portraits, especially the founders of the school, and going around the school with their medieval demands that didn't sit well with Lucas at all. Being someone who is supposed to fix these issues, the Gryffindor chose to ignore anything that was going on. Starting a fight with Godric Gryffindor wasn't in his list of things to achieve that year. No, thank you.
Besides, he had exams to concentrate on.
The OWLs arrived sooner than he expected it to and it was safe to say that the fifth year wasn't feeling as confident as he hoped he would, especially for certain subjects. The theoretical parts of the exams were simple enough, but the practical portions, especially for Defence Against the Dark Arts, was met with a lot of apprehension from this Gryffindor.
Just when he thought things couldn't get worse, some bad news reached his ears. Professor Sandhu announced to the Gryffindor common room that she was going to be leaving after this year, after feeling as though he age had caught up with her. It was safe to say that this news broke Lucas' heart, and only got worse when he heard that Nostredame was planning on leaving to go back to Beauxbatons as well.

If Lucas was slightly more observant - or crazy, to some - he would've taken Trent's abundance of warnings in his welcome speech as a sign that his sixth year was going to be ~interesting~. But after five years at the castle, he merely took it as another one of the warnings Trent usually gave out. As it was, he was used to these messages by now.
Something he wasn't used to was the news that Trent had specifically for the Gryffindors. Reaching the Gryffindor tower, Trent arrived to give them the news that he was taking on the role of the new Gryffindor Head of House. Frankly, this news shocked the sixth year, especially after the grade he'd gotten for his DADA OWL. As much as he thought that he could avoid Trent until the awkwardness had passed, it seemed like that wasn't the case now.
But in true Hogwarts fashion, it wasn't long before he had other things to worry about. Namely, the sky. For someone who focuses on the atmosphere so much, it wasn't surprising that the change in the colour of the sky caught Lucas' attention. This wasn't normal, was it? And, as it turns out, it wasn't a one-time occurrence, either. The sky was turning red! Minus the confusion, it was almost...... fascinating.
What confused the sixth year even more was the sight of...... students in the Great Hall. Students he didn't even know or had seen before. Students that weren't solid to the touch and seemed to fade in and out. Worst of all was the way these students didn't seem to notice any of the Hogwarts students - not that Lucas minded, of course. It was starting to become a weird year, and the year had hardly started.
But something he could look forward to was Christmas, right?
Wrong.
His seventeenth birthday was the day they were supposed to be taking the Hogwarts Express back to King's Cross, but it also happened to be the day when a flash of light and a roll of thunder caused them to vanish. The gate was simply not opening, and there seemed to be nothing beyond the gates. It was safe to say that Lucas was heartbroken. All plans of spending the day with his family had gone out of the window now that they were stuck in the castle.
This saddened feeling was only worsened as the year went on, and as the situation at the castle became more concerning. While the storm grew stronger, magic became weaker. Eventually, magic and magical items stopped working altogether, including the magic built into the very architecture of the castle. For someone who grew up on magic and relied heavily on magic, this was the point that set off Lucas' anxiety to a much greater level. Even worse were the various cases of forgetfulness and the lack of communication he could have with his family.
But the cherry on top? The moment when his fellow students started to fade while the translucent students started to become more opaque. Scary, right?
Just when things seemed as though they had hit rock bottom, a solution was found - much to Lucas' relief. A simple spell cast at the right moment and cast by as many people as possible was all it took. The relief was overwhelming, and enough to cause the sixth year to cry from the number of emotions taking over him. He hadn't felt this sense of joy in a very long time. It was almost enough for him to let the Gryffindors have a party in the common room.

While Emma exhibits all the exuberance of Gryffindor House, Lucas is the complete opposite. Shy and quiet are often words used to describe this particular Dakest child. Emma has always been his best friend, the person on this Earth he’s the most closest to, and as a result, he’s become very comfortable around her. Growing up, he’s produced a comfort zone that he hardly ever toes out of and one that he relies on rather heavily.
However, all of this combined means that Lucas has become isolated and someone who prefers his own company. With a lack of social skills having developed during his younger years, he’s ended up being the kind of boy who hardly starts up a conversation and would never approach strangers. Why would he? His comfort zone wouldn’t allow it. He’s also become the kind of person who doesn’t immediately trust those around them and as a result, it would take him a significant amount of time to become comfortable around someone else. It might be because of this that he doesn’t trust his father, Sabel, as much he does the other members of his family.
There have also been times when Lucas has become fairly temperamental. His mood is known to switch and he exhibits unexpected bursts of anger, something that’s known to take people by surprise. The boy, unknowingly, displays more personality traits that are similar to his father rather than his mother which is something he would deny at all costs if he knew.

Born to Daphne and Travis LaGlacier on a cool summer day, July 31, 2054. Katrina was the first child for Travis, although the second to Daphne who had a daughter eight years prior. When Kat was just a few years old, she was sitting and playing with Millie before she would board the Hogwarts Express and came across a photo of Millie's father. A man who was not Travis. Confused about her relationship with her "sister", Millie took Katrina on her lap and recounted the story told by their mother of Millie's father, Ian Walsh, a famous broom maker whom left this world too soon in a transportation accident.
Katrina and Millie vowed in that moment to be there for each other. But fate had a different plan. When Millie graduated from Hogwarts, it was Katrina's turn to begin and unlike her sister, Katrina was much more outgoing and perseverant, which sorted the young brunette witch into Gryffindor. The first in a family that had previously been Slytherins and Ravenclaws. Her time at Hogwarts was memorable, but when she graduated, she was more than ready to pursue her dreams of become a renowned curse-breaker. But one didn't get anyplace without money, so while she was a student at the Cairo campus during the year, Katrina scooped ice cream back in London during her summers. And yet she missed the Egyptian hospitality during the summers, which was why when she graduated in 2074, Katrina moved full-time to Egypt uncovering secrets and growing in her career. Shortly after her move, she fell in love with an Egyptian Wizard, Naseem Sabra. It was a whirlwind romance, but one that sadly did not bear any children. Naseem it turned out worked in a very top secret area of Law Enforcement for the Egyptian Ministry, which while Katrina loved him, it also meant she had to keep distance from her family. Including her sister, of whom she made a promise to so very long ago. Living the unplottable life was definitely adventure-seeking and enthralling for the former Gryffindor, but it also meant that any forms of communication were one-side. She couldn't disclose her exact whereabouts, which meant communication about her sister's pregnancy in 2081-2082, as well as her incident which left her non-cognizant in 2090 went unknown by Katrina.
It wasn't until Naseem was tragically killed in a job related activity, when Katrina was going through his belongings and found the letters from both Millie announcing the birth of her baby girl, naming her the legal guardian, but also several letters made from St Mungos in effort to contact her, that Katrina returned to the Northern Hemisphere. Reading the prophet in June 2096 of the inferi attacks at Hogwarts and knowing her own experience as a cursebreaker, Katrina sought out the position of Runes professor. Figuring if anyone was qualified for the role, it was her.
Next on the agenda: to figure out how to meet up with her niece and apologize for her apparent abandonment.

HISTORY
Born in the countryside, in a suburb to Edinburgh, Scotland Joshua is the second child of purebloods Colin and Quornelia Wishart. He grew up together with his twin-brother Tyler in a normal and typical magical household. His parents were and still are deep creature lovers and history nerds. From a young age his parents tried to teach him and Tyler to love creatures and history facts just as much as them. For Tyler that was no problem, he was a natural with both creatures and learning to recite off history facts by heart. Joshua was the exact opposite. He felt akward and wrong around creatures and history fact’s just made his head spin and he often lost his temper when he couldn’t remember the dates of an important event in history or what a person was famous for. The area which Joshua shined in was around plants which was an aptitude that neither of his parents really knew who had inherited it from because they made plants die rather than flourish. His parents were proud though that he was a ‘plant whisperer’.
Joshua’s childhood zoomed by alongside his twinbrother with him being interested in plants, herbs and fungi while he was kept being into creatures. To visiting relatives or friends the Wishart’s household with lots of different creatures and plants was quite a peculiar sight. Around the same time as his Hogwart’s letter arrived his mother announced that Tyler was going to go to Ilvermorney. This was a big blow to Josh’s life since he was super tight with his brother. They talked and shared almost all firsts with each other and they were each others security and now they’d be at different parts of the world. Before Josh knew it he sat on the train to Hogwarts alone without Tyler. He was unhappy, grumpy and definitely not bustling with starting school excitement at all. He wanted to be left alone. That wish was though short lived when a red haired girl practically stumbled into his compartment and life. Julia as the girl’s name was came with a fiery temper and bossiness and enough excitement for both of them. Soon after Julia’s girlfriends of 4 joined them and decided that Josh was as interesting as a new skirt and started to spit out 20 questions at him. He managed to upset and anger the girl gang without even understanding how.
His conclusion was that plants were so much easier to understand than girls.
After the train ride was over Josh got sorted into Ravenclaw house along with Kaysha Stewart and Tristan Wayland while Celestia Grimsbane and Kalen Kennedy were sorted into Slytherin and Gryffindor where also Katrina Sabra was a house member but in a few years over. The girl Julia became a Gryffindor. Kaysha and him got off to bad start right at the table during the first feast night. The bad start turned into a mutual hate relationship that grew over the years at school. Josh didn’t share the same friends as Tristan, Celestia, Katrina or Kalen .
The seven years flew by in a whiz with Josh taking part in a few extracurricular activities like dueling club, plant club, qudditch reserve for the eagle team and quiz bowl enthusiast. Josh even participated in the International Wizarding Quiz Bowl Championship for Hogwarts for a few years where he met and competed against Foster Davies for the first time. Herbology was though his love and what courses he enrolled himself in at Edinburgh University along with education after graduating from Hogwarts. His girlfriend since a few years Julia enrolled in pre healing courses and some pre-auror classes as the same University. In 2080 he graduates from Edinburgh University and marries his sweetheart Julia. They move to France to try their wings and take a few more degrees together in potions and french (to learn his mother’s tongue) at the university in Paris where Joshua runs into Gaston for the first time and works parts time at a plant school.
After graduating from the french uni Joshua was offered a full time job at the plant school and he gladly accepts. He works there for 5 years before he gets sacked for not agreeing with the new owners views on the plant school management. Before thinking about what to do next a job offer to work at St mungos hospital laboratory apartment arrives and Josh accepts. He works there for about 10 years. During this time he loses his wife Julia to a fatal illness and curse sustained during an MLE mission that went bad and blames himself for not being able to save her or come to her side quick enough to heal her since she sent him a distress patronus.
Ridden with grief and sorrow he leaves his St Mungos employment to be a freelance herbologist because Mungos just reminds him of Julia. Josh has just started to get his life in order when Regina contacts him and after an interview offers him a new job as Herbology professor at Hogwarts and he gladly accepts. So that’s where he is going in September, back to his old school to teach.

Presley Victoria Stark was born on October 30, 2082 in South Lake Tahoe, California. Her mother named her with the intention of calling her Tori, but it was Torii herself who asked to add the extra i to the end. As a half-blood witch, she's grown up knowing the best of both worlds, although she prefers the magical way of doing things.
When she was seven years old, she showed her first signs of magic, when she got upset at a classmate and accidentally caused a full bottle of paint to spill out. Lucky for her, she was able to start Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in 2094, just before her 12th birthday. She was sorted into Horned Serpent, and life at Ilvermorny quickly became one of the best moments of Torii's life so far.
All her friends were there. Her boyfriend was there. She was doing really great in all her classes...
...and then on a warm summer morning just after her third year, her entire life changed. Both Torii's mother and father were killed in a Muggle automobile accident. Her mother died instantly, while her father died in the hospital three days later. After the funeral, Torii's aunt and uncle informed her that she'd be moving in with them...all the way in Weybridge, Surrey, which isn't even in America. Her father's brother and his wife are really amazing people, but Torii barely even knows them. Besides that, she harbors a resentment and sadness that she hasn't quite figured out how to deal with.

how he spent last year:
Max spent the summer stressing and incredibly anxious, the looming approach of beginning school was heavy over him and all the expectations he assumed would come along too. So, it was with equal parts glee and disappointment he found out he was actually /just under/ the deadline and would not be attending for a whole ‘nother year. His friends (Finley and Nikolai Barton) would be going, however. He squirmed and cried (privately and not so much) and pitied himself, barely able to admit the truth that he would not only miss the two boys desperately but that he felt left behind. He threw himself into old music, classic horror, and the arms of his older brother who was all too sympathetic to Maxi’s feelings. On one end he was being coddled by both mother and brother, while on the other his well meaning father and Godfather did everything in their power to ‘toughen him up’ and ‘prepare him for the real world’. Naturally, the boy was torn, uncertain of which path was in fact the right one and rather than actively choose Maxi did what made sense to him. He did both. He was emotional and tough, he tried to improve his speech but only when it suited him to do so. The Eleven-Year-Old was the epitome of lukewarm.
and then, quite abruptly the boys were back and not going back to school at all and Mazi’s confusion was once more twisted and met with more emotion than the young boy knew what to do with. So, he cried and squirmed, and clung to Niko whenever he could. It was a symbiotic relationship which worried his father for Aiden had seen this same pattern with his eldest son and the unfortunate soul name Rorie Hazelwood. Despite what he learned of Hogwarts’ new Headmaster and rules, Aiden promised himself he would, INDEED, send his son away to school. A decision Clarissa and Damien both rejected vehemently until a deal was made. Maxi would be sent for his first year and if he absolutely hated it he would be pulled out immediately at any time with no excuses. It was not exactly a deal or even a promise but Damien and Clarissa knowing good and well that Aiden would not change his mind cautiously agreed.
The plan was kept secret and to this day still is. It would be quite the shock on September 1st when Max instead of having a grand party was driven to the Platform 9 ¾ and pushed on to what could only be assumed was pure doom for a boy so gentle, anxiety-ridden and fearful.

SPOILER!!: Before Hogwarts
Stella Isabella Starson was born on December 13th on a cold winter day to Lucas and Mia Starson. Stella was born in Dorset on the Starson Ranch where she still lives to this day. Stella is the youngest out of the Starson siblings, as well as the only girl out of the three of them. At a young age Stella fell in love with playing the piano after watching her mother play it, she learned how to play at the age of four due to her mother showing her how to play.
Before Stella went to Hogwarts she went to a muggle private school for awhile where she was bullied and picked on by a boy named Jeremy Podmore, although she couldn't prove she was bullied her brother gotten expelled from there for fighting due to protecting her. From that moment on from the age of seven onward she was homeschooled. At a young age Stella also did Gymnastics which she did until her acceptance to Hogwarts, but she still does tricks keep herself still active in it due to her loving it so much.

Year 1:
Stella was accepted into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, upon her sorting she was sorted into Gryffindor, although the hat had trouble deciding whether to put her in Gryffindor or Ravenclaw but put her in Gryffindor seeing how she had Gryffindor traits. After the Headmistress was replaced Hogwarts became a military school as Stella called it, morning S.O.R.E runs and banned items unless they were educational. From learning about Red Caps in DADAA which left her scarred for life thanks! to learning to heal wounds in Professor Marchand's class she only loved her first year due to the comfort and support of her friends and HoH Professor Marchand.
Year 2:
Now a pre teen, and no longer a newbie in the big castle of Hogwarts, she was glad that she was able to have some fun and adventures. Although it became a bit weird when things were missing and people started getting itchy after she met a cute and adorable little mutant that she cuddled with on the sixth floor. Although more scary part was when she found out one ate Professor Dopple the Charms Professor, although she didn't know how something so small and cute could do something like that. Need less to say, she was glad that she didn't get hair or was pink although really itchy...
Year 3:
Year three... now a teenager and no longer a kid, Stella did many things this year, from growing a blue spruce tree to learning more about the castle. Things didn't start going bad until the mist started appearing on the grounds. It was quite scary for Stella leaving her to have panic attack attacks and constantly using her asthma potions more then ever. As the mist reached the castle and the bottom floors the Slytherins had to come to their common room which lead Stella to making more snake friends. Although the mist didn't stop there, during evaluation of the castle of castle it reached the third floor where they were talkng the tunnel out of the school at, Stella scared went home and had a early summer.
Year 4:
Upon not going to Hogwarts Stella was a bit sad to know that she wasn't going back to the beloved castle she came to know and love. Although like Hogwarts weird things started happening, things that no one could explain how these strange events were happening around them.
First was the kitchens that caught aflame, then the Ombrelune Common Room decor was altered, and, worst of all, the Observatory was tattered. Both on where Stella felt more at home at. However, things turned from bad to worse when the decorations for the upcoming Valentine's Day Ball was suddenly destroyed. Stella was glad that they were leaving there and coming back for her fifth year, she's more of a modern antique than a fancy type of girl anyways.
Year 5:
Ah... Hogwarts, Stella was so glad to be was back at home at Hogwarts. A place where she knew where everything was and didn't wonder around the castle lost. Wanting to waste no time, Stella set off for adventures around Hogwarts finding things she never found or anyone else around the school.
Ugh... the dreadful OWL year, although Stella was well ready and prepared for it, although she spent most of her time studying for it. Although she gotten on the wrong side of the Fat Lady for not clapping and rolling her eyes and complaining which she didn't think she was, but whatever. After simply apologizing she was quickly out of the portrait which she was relieved about. What was weirder was the four founders were lurking around the castle, something Stella thought was cool at first but oddly annoying towards the end.
As the year went on Stella attended in the muggle studeies assignment along with Oceanus her boyfriend and gotten assigned a plastic real like baby they named Caspian. Like all assignments, Stella took this one seriously but she actually grown very attached to Caspian. She was actually almost crying when she gave him back, but it taught her alot about patience and caring for others.

Ronan was the third child born to Nevaeh Drewery-Mae and Bartolomew Wallace, when his brother was sixteen and sister was seven. He was a healthy happy boy from the start, kind and curious and eager to absorb everything life had to offer. Since his siblings were much older than him, Ronan was raised almost like the eldest child in the family, with younger sisters Patience and Ashling being born several years after himself. Noel and Sunny, and especially Noel, for he was almost an adult at the time of Ronan's birth, were like a second set of parents to him, and Ronan has always looked up to them in that manner, emulating their activities and hobbies and wants.
When Ronan was around four, he started writing stories. They were about Noel, his hero, and Sunny, always some sort of sun in the story, and mean people which they would vanquish by outlandish means, like dropping a divination ball on their heads, or playing music so loud everyone left and the day was saved. He kept up this habit as he grew up, writing and drawing (and then just writing because his drawing skills are abysmal) during classes and in his spare time. An athletic boy by nature, his PE teacher suggested the track team to him and his parents fairly quickly, and he's been madly dashing around tracks ever since. His preferred races are sprints, but does hold his own on the long races as well. No one in his family knows where he gets all his energy from, it sure isn't a shared quality amongst the siblings.
Ronan's other hobbies include playing the guitar (he's not so great at it, but does enjoy playing simple songs and Noel plays the guitar so he obviously needs to keep practicing until he's great), being in the kitchen with his mother (lemon cakes are the best confection in this entire world and if you say otherwise you'll have to deal with Ronan E. Wallace) and everything that has to do with the Falmouth Falcons.
He got his first broom when he was eight years old, and traded in his hobby of tree climbing (not entirely of course, there's always a good reason to climb a tree) with flying. The Wallace home is in Cornwall, by the beach, and Ronan took to flying out into the sea to the absolute dismay of his worried parents. He fell once, into the water, and learned instantly to never fly so far out again. It's scary and there are FISH IN THE WATER D: D: D: and SHARKS AND CRABS D: Ronan is not a fan.
His knowledge of magic comes solely from living in a magical household, since he attended a muggle primary school where he learned all about mathematics and science and geography, and very little about potions and transfiguration. He's ever so excited to finally dive into the magical world, and the day he finally bought his own wand was the absolute best day of his life. Now he's just like Noel and Sunny, a proper wizard with a proper wand, all ready to go and conquer the world! With a quill and some ink of course. Never forget the quills and inks.

The Vitvinin's are an old money, society Russian family based in St Petersburg. They have cousins in Moscow too. For generations, the men have been pushed to do well in business or their chosen fields to continue the good family name but to also provide for their families. It was discovered very very on that Igor (Papa from now on so not to confuse with the youngest son) was very very good at dance. He took to ballroom and Latin, practiced more at home than he needed too. He started competing very early and moved through the local, Russian, European and World championships. He had one dance partner, but when their aunt Toriya was old enough, she became his partner for a few years until Papa retired from competitions. When he retired from competitions he set up his own business in a dance school in St Petersburg, teaching all styles. Anyone wanting to do ballet, went to their Aunt Ira's school in Norway, and she sent some of her students to him to expand their training. Within a year or so of Igor stopping travelling and competition, Julie was pregnant with Dominik. In the time after school, when Julie was with Igor but not having kids, she helped Toriya and MALTS with translations and was a personal shopper in St Petersburg for the Vitvinin women who were busy and for any of their friends who seemed interested. With having the dance school, dance hobbies don't really cost them anything. There are also so many family ties and family members around Europe that a lot of the hobbies could be accommodated. Like, Julie worked with Elizabetha Blane at MALTS and she has a martial arts and security business across Europe. Her daughter Athena is a chef and a Baker in Paris with a European wide catering company (she did Indi's wedding so if they wanted to learn that... She could put in a word. The business' range from Hotels, Dance Studios and much more. Most of the Igor siblings have already in school and have mostly stayed to Durmstrang or Beauxbatons with Igor being the first to go to Hogwarts. He would take private lessons at their home leading up to Hogwarts and even in the process of being fluent in three languages.

Melody was born to parents that were in arranged marriage. They were rich parents, but not the best. The twins had a nanny, but she wasn’t much better either. It is no wonder Melody has a issue with trusting or respecting adults. The parents were muggles and didn’t exactly understand the “special” abilities that their children seemed to have. Life went on, with Melody attending a muggle primary school and basically hating it. Nobody liked her, and she didn’t like them.
Things change when they are due to attend secondary school. Letters for Hogwarts arrive, but they don’t go, due to their parents thinking the twins would be a threat to other students. Instead they are homeschooled. This bores the twins, and before long they are practicing magic outside of tutoring hours. They become well advanced for their age. Normal magic doesn’t interest them. They are more interested in the dark arts, though this is something Melody keeps to herself.
It was over the Spring and Summer of 2097 when tragedy appeared to hit the Mathews family. A terrible fire ripped through the Mathews estate. Miles and Melody are the only ones to suspiciously survive. The pair end up in Stemp House, and as of September 2097 are attending Hogwarts.
Personality
Melody is a socially awkward girl, but this mostly by choice. She much prefers her own company, and generally the only other person she can stand to be around is Miles. Whilst she can generally get along with other people her age, she resents adults. This is mostly down to the experiences she has had in her childhood. She has a fascination for fire and loves nothing more than to set fire. Her other main hobby is reading, though not your average books. She is well advanced in her reading, and will often be found to be reading books not even adults would read.

History:
Amelia was born to a mother (Maria), who was a witch, and a Muggle Father, Charlie, which created obvious tensions of its own. She is the only girl of four children, with two older brothers, Andrew and Alex. Andrew is five years older, Alex is three years older, both of whom played Beater and Seeker (respectively) on their House teams, which helped shape Amelia's love for quidditch. She also has a younger brother named Aaron, who is ten years younger than her.
Amelia loves learning new things and meeting new people, but at the same time, she has a rather quiet side too. She tends to be more reserved, but won't hesitate to use her voice when it is needed. She tends to pride herself in being a very ordinary young woman, who thrives on more core values like love and trust, rather than material belongings like wealth and money. Just stay on her good side, and you have nothing to fear.
As many of us know, quidditch has this way with many Hogwarts students that can make the unexpected possible. After the first match of her fifth year, Amelia was psyched that they had actually won against Ravenclaw. Completely psyched to the point where she kissed Tancred in the Common Room.
Though Tancred and Amelia separated during their sixth years, due to Tancred's mother deciding Hogwarts was not safe, the Hufflepuff pair was reunited in their seventh year after much arguments. Tancred proposed to Amelia on the train ride back to King's Cross with a quaffle-shaped diamond pendant. They spent the remainder of the time on the train together, before Amelia would apparate off to Ireland the moment the train stopped at King's Cross. She had been accepted as a starter chaser for the Ballycastle Bats, and her first practice started the day of her arrival in London. After a year of being separated physically, but united spiritually and emotionally in the sacred bond of engagement (and love), the two were married on June 21, 2067, in Ireland.
After two more years of chasing for the Ballycastle Bats, her contract was over and though her manager had offered an extension, Mia decided that though quidditch would forever be a part of her, she wanted to move on from that chapter in her life and into married life with her husband, Tancred. With plans in mind to be a Healer, Mia set to work applying to various healing schools. It was only a couple months after moving in with Tancred in a cozy flat on the border of London that the 21-year-old redhead found herself pregnant. In May 2070, she conceived a baby girl, Chloe Michelle, changing her world completely. Instead of pursuing a career as a Healer, Amelia spent the next few months nursing her baby as she looked into local career opportunities while Tancred worked as a Sports journalist for the Daily Prophet. Within a year or two after Chloe's birth, Amelia found herself pregnant again, this time with two twin boys. After the twin boys though, it was time to sort out the career and Mia attended Healing school part-time while raising the children. In 2076, she finally completed her Healing training and was hired as the Healer for the Pride of Portrees, due to her experience as a Quidditch player.
Fast forward twenty years later, Amelia and Tancred have seen all three of their children graduate Hogwarts (sadly none Hufflepuffs!), and trusted in Hogwarts to educate themselves, their children, their families thus far ... and yet the totally mature Hufflepuff found herself embarking on a new adventure this summer as an opportunity appeared to continue to employ her two favorite things: Healing and Quidditch. Which came as a two-fold to ensure that in 2103, Hogwarts would remain a safe haven for the grandson's magical education.

Odaline is extremely dependent on her parents outside of their house, as they have raised her to speak only with their permission and answer no questions about herself. She keeps herself to herself for that very reason and has only been alone with someone who isn’t her parents or Ingrid a handful of times. Odaline applies her energies into learning a new language when she can and has mastered the art of speaking seven languages fluently. This is something that her parents encouraged from a young age, as they moved countries every eighteen months. Oda has never been given the chance to make her own friends or interact with others around the same age as her, so the thought of Hogwarts is completely scary to her as she’ll be on her own.

Pre Hogwarts (2086 - 2097)
The version of events that Odaline knows, is very different to those which actually occurred. For her sake.
Anissa Reid married Eric Beddington in the August of 2078, three years after they began dating. They met when she began working at a call centre in Bedfordshire after dropping out of her university course in business. Eric was the training coordinator for new staff and they hit it off instantly. Anissa bit the bullet and asked him out to dinner just a week after she began her new job and the pair were inseparable after that. However, in the Spring of 2082, Eric witnessed an extremely violent crime in their neighbourhood and both he and his wife were taken into witness protection after it was discovered to be a bigger thing than all had discovered.
Their handler was Benjamin Buchanan and instead of maintaining a purely professional relationship, Benjamin and Anissa fell in love whilst Eric was building himself a new career in Berlin where they were now based. Fast forward to February 2086 and Anissa had just given birth to a little girl who she knew was Benjamin’s in her heart, but had been pretending was Eric’s for the entire pregnancy because she was scared that he would hurt her or the baby. Once born, it was clear that the baby was Benjamin’s by her appearance and within months Eric and Anissa were divorced and Anissa was able to leave the witness protection program alongside her new husband Benjamin and their daughter Odaline.
It was then that Benjamin found out about Anissa’s magical abilities and that there was a chance their daughter would also. The family moved countries every eighteen months with Benjamin’s work contracts and gained another daughter, Ingrid, into their family just a couple of years after Odaline. When the time came for Odaline to take up her schooling at Hogwarts, the family relocated to London and Benjamin took up a more permanent contract with the Metropolitan Police force.
SPOILER!!: the real version of events
Alissa Reid married Eric Gotobed in the August of 2074, just weeks after her graduation from Beauxbatons and after meeting him. Alissa and Eric ran in opposite social circles, gangs as you may call them, and the idea to get married was pitched by Alnissa and accepted by Eric just five days after they first met. Things went well for many years, until Anissa witnessed the death of her best friend in 2084 and she and her husband were taken into protective custody and given identities as Anissa Reid and Eric Beddington. It quickly became evident to Eric that things were not as they had seemed when his wife gave birth to their first daughter that looked nothing like him and more like their handler, Benjamin Buchanan.
In a heated exchange between the three of them, Benjamin revealed that the entire marriage had been an elaborate scheme to get all the information that Eric had on the group that Anissa had been involved with and that he had been in charge of. The death of Anissa’s best friend was a lie and so was this protective custody.
Eric Beddington was never seen or heard from again.
Benjamin and Anissa married just weeks after their daughter Odaline had been born and welcomed another child Ingrid a short time after. They kept their family on the move to avoid their past catching up on them before deciding when it was time for Odaline to begin her wizarding education to move permanently to London keeping the identity they had taken on in 2084 at the beginning of their witness protection. The Buchanan family now reside a quiet Essex borough, happily without any ties to their old lives.
