During the ungodly hours of January 18, 2055, River Scott Reed was born to Richard and Mitzia Reed. Before his elder brother’s marriage, River was the second and youngest descendant of the Reed patriline. As a child, River enjoyed the outdoors with his siblings. Out of the three Reed children, he was the most active and lover of nature. At a very young age, River has travelled near and far with his family, strengthening his love for nature and the outdoors, and people in general.
On the summer of his 11th birthday, River, like his older siblings, received his acceptance letter from Hogwarts and was sorted into the same house as his older brother and father; Ravenclaw. River enjoyed his school years in Hogwarts and was quick to have a good command in Charms, Magical Creatures, Defence, Herbology, Transfiguration, and Potion. Born as an explorer, River ventured towards a more challenging academe by transferring to Castelobruxo in Brazil. There, he managed to excel in Herbology and Potion and eventually discovered his vocation in Healing.
After his secondary education, he went back to the UK to take up Pre-Healer and Healer Studies, with a Minor in Magical Creatures Medicine—a childhood dream fulfilled. During this time, he applied for the Morgenstern Trust Fund, which eventually led him to work for the Morgenstern Family after graduation. While he took his Master’s Degree in Magical Bugs and Diseases, he took up his formal internship at St. Mungo’s. After a couple of years, he was transferred to work in the Janus Thickey ward. River did not last long, given that the environment was too cramped for him, and that his speciality was proven useless. He petitioned to be transferred elsewhere and landed a job at the Department of Magical Bugs and Diseases as a Senior Healer. There, he was able to exercise his speciality with the rest of his fellow colleagues, treating and diagnosing bizarre cases.
Politics happened at St. Mungo’s forcing River to quit his job at the Diagnostics Department for good. Upon meeting old friends from Brazil, he was offered a position in his former school and stayed as the resident healer for three years. Due to his father’s illness, River was summoned back to help and treat the ailing Reed patriarch. While he stayed in the UK, he also offered his services to his former boss, Mr Albert Morgenstern and was eventually referred to another prominent family, the Mordaunts.
Although working as a private healer for prominent families, River was not content with it. Soon enough, he found himself packing his trunk once more hoping that Castelobruxo would accept him back as the school’s healer. However, on the night of his departure, he received a letter from Hogwarts, offering him the same position. Without a moment’s hesitation, he made a U-turn and headed for Scotland.

Etta is pretty friendly, easygoing, loves to laugh, likes to talk ( a little too much ) and is incredibly loyal to the people she cares about. She loves to learn new things, explore new ideas.. and places too, especially 'cause she got to travel quite a bit, thanks to her father's job.
She does get very moody, sulky even, when things don't go her own way or if people don't agree with what she says but the gloominess doesn't last that long since she gets easily distracted. She has been used to being around people all her life so she dislikes being alone, without anyone to talk to. That would probably be her worst nightmare.

General Character Traits: Isabel was basically raised by the traits of her own father, meaning she's a kind, clever, spontaneous and sincere girl. She can be very timid and seem rude when she first meets someone, but if she feels like the person can make her develop her true self, then she might show her real character. She finds it annoying when people try really hard for other's attention and this makes her temper rise. She's never rude, meaning that she knows how to speak well, without any non-polite words, but she's very hurtful when it comes to her sarcasm. ★HISTORY
Isabel is the daughter of Gregory and Silvia Cummings, a lovely couple that got married at a young age and ever since, happy every day. Since they graduated Hogwarts, they both decided to travel throughout the world, visiting other countries and publishing interesting articles about mythical creatures, hidden villages and other magical related posts to the Daily Prophet. Silvia's family was really wealthy, so she never received a "no" as an answer, something she might be able to teach Isabel through her hard core, as a mother. By the time Isabel was born, Silvia's mother trait was never present, for she was always too busy with her traveling plans and the new adventures through out the world that would bring her joy and knowledge. Isabel was the impediment for her traveling. Silva kept her stalls around the world, while Isabel's father, Gregory, kept his father trait straight, for her raised his only-child as the most precious girl. He was always there to help Isabel, for he stopped the long distances and managed to get a job at the Ministry of Magic. Isabel grew a cold-stone relationship with her mother, who came to visit her husband and child every now and then, after a few months. Gregory never said "no" to Silvia's spirit, which kept dangling around the world, something Isabel could never understand. She developed a huge interest in Quidditch, for her father was the Ravenclaw keeper and Team Captain during his seventh year. When she first entered Hogwarts by the age of eleven, she was afraid of being like her mom, for her developed hatred and lack of kindness dragged her into Slytherin: the perfect house for her. She could be herself without being chased, and she didn't need anyone's approval.

They spent the next few months writing letters as he went back to work in London. Luca was very much in love with her, but never said a word because he was afraid.

J.P. is Half and Half. Father is a pureblood and his mother is part vela. J.P. was born in Guatemala which is where his father's parents were from and also where his father did most of his work as a curse breaker. This is also where his father met his mother.
J.P. moved with his parents back to London when J.P. was seven in order for the family to settle down for a while. J.P. was very close to his Grandfather growing up and is his grandfather's namesake. J.P.'s grandfather was also a cure breaker and often told stories to J.P. about his travels. His grandfather always brought J.P. back a book from where ever his travels took him and this is where his love for books and his obsession with know everything about everything came from. The last gift that J.P. received from his grandfather was a silver necklace with a charm of a bird that his grandfather said to have enchanted with protective charms and charms that would bring J.P. luck.
J.P. always has this on.
J.P. also met his pet canary, Ollie, when he was 4 in Guatemala. They have been inseparable ever since. Ollie has special qualities that are untapped as of yet but this will not be discovered until later on.

Ambrose was born in England, his parents having migrated from China 6 years before he was born. His father is a chef, who opened a number of Chinese and Japanese restaurants around the UK.
Accidental magic started happening when he was only 4 years old. While his parents were scared by it, and scared of what would happen if anyone else found out about it, they still loved their son a lot and did their best to protect him. They are however grateful that his twin sister, Laurel, is 'normal'.
Laurel herself always was amazed by her brothers magic, and while she always wished that she could also do it she always knew that she couldn't do magic. She went to a muggle school, unlike Ambrose who was home schooled by their mother. Because of how close they were she did make sure that he was able to spend time with her and her friends, though she'd be super careful to make sure nothing would happen. Even though she's only 11 minutes older, she's very protective of her brother.
His Hogwarts letter and their impending separation has definitely caused a rift in their relationship though…

✘About Camilla: Camilla is an only child born to Alden and Vera Stewart on the morning of September 27th in Bristol only a few minutes walk from where her younger cousin would live a few short years later. She loved to read and learn all that she could but Cami preferred to be outdoors. Making a mess and doing things hands on was always how she learned best.
Growing up one of her closest friends just so happened to be her one and only cousin Kaysha. Lucky for the two of them they didn't live that far away from one another and saw each other often. Cami had a thing for teasing her younger cousin quite a bit but in her mind it was just how she showed she cared for her and the two are still very close even as adults.
Due to more then a few accidental outbursts growing up she was home-schooled until the age of eight before it was agreed that she was capable of handling a true school setting. It was then that she was sent to a primary wizarding school. On the morning of her eleventh birthday her Hogwarts letter arrived just as she knew it would. However due to her birthday falling after the 1st of September young Cami had to wait until the following year to attend. Being sorted into Gryffindor only served to spur the carefree attitude inside her all the more. Her main focus was all about having fun and learning as much as she could along the way. Right from the start Transfiguration was her best lesson followed closely by charms.
Not knowing what she wanted to do after Hogwarts Cami took some time to travel around. During her travels she met and fell in love with a muggle man named Christian Carter. From the very beginning he knew about Cami being able to do magic and was fine with it or so she believed. The two were engaged to be married but shortly before the wedding Christian decided he couldn't marry her and the two parted ways. It was very shortly after this incident that she had learned she was expecting a baby, a dream of hers that she had never voiced out loud. Sadly went through a very sudden and unexpected miscarriage at around six months along. Having kept in touch with her cousin and family while away she learned that Kay was working as a teacher so she made the easy decision to return home for another change and the much needed support of her family during this rough time. It was then that she attended University and many training programs to become a teacher alongside her cousin. Camilla choose to mainly stick with the primary aged children however due to her love of little kids.
That's where she remained worked for many years until she got the owl from Kaysha telling her about the Transfiguration position available at Hogwarts. With the subject being a passion of hers she applied for it and received the job where she started as the official Transfiguration professor in September of 2091.

Sinead's father is a half-blood wizard, and her mother an Irish muggle whose family moved to England when she was a young child. Personality-
Sinead is a typical Slytherin in terms of her ambition- not that she thirsts for power, but rather for achievement, and to prove herself as a witch. This makes her incredibly driven and she will put hours of extracurricular work in to improve her skills with magic. She's not hugely sociable and is extremely quick to dismiss those she sees as unintelligent or dull, but with those whom she likes, she does enjoy in-depth conversations about a variety of topics, especially elements of magical theory or other analytical topics such as psychology. By nature, she can often come across as aloof or unemotional when first meeting somebody, but she does value her friendships and is loyal to those she cares about; she just needs a certain amount of time alone as well, finding it exhausting to socialise all the time.
Sinead is intelligent and capable, excelling in Transfiguration and Arithmancy and making leaps of logical intuition. ♕ BACKGROUND
On a warm day in May that foreshadowed the immensely humid summer ahead, Samuel and Nancy brought their second child and only daughter into the world. As to be expected, both parents instantly fell in love with their blue-eyed little girl. Their three-year-old son Arthur, however, was not easily won over. The attention he had as a single child was no more, and he viewed Regina's presence as an intrusion. But Regina soon won him over after he managed to stop her from crying after feeding her a handful of slimy worms and then wet himself due to laughing so hard, a memory he never lets Regina forget (though he always forgoes the latter detail).
From the moment she could walk, Regina would attach herself to Arthur wherever he went. One of the favourite places the duo would venture off to is the swamp that was located behind their home when their parents were preoccupied. Though Regina was always hesitant to enter the place, it was her brother's courage and sense of adventure that lured her in. One day they walked deep enough into the swamp and found a shabby shack. The shack, believing it to be abandoned, would remain their secret hideaway until the evening a rougarou attacked them on their way back home after a day of make-believe. Had it not been for Arthur's protective surge of underage magic and the sudden appearance of the hoodoo priestess who had been watching them from afar all those years, the eight and five-year-olds would not have made it out of the swamp alive. Due to almost losing both children, their parents packed up everything they owned days later and moved the family to Salem.
Six years later, she found herself taking her place in the ranks of Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. On the day of her sorting, three of the carved statues claimed her: Horned Serpent, Thunderbird, and Wampus. The moment the Thunderbird beat its wings, her brother let out a loud cry; however, it was the glowing crystal of the Horned Serpent that drew her in. Over the years that passed, Regina was proven time and time again that she had made the right selection. Her grades, though Astronomy and Herbalism were not her strong suits, were the best of her class since her first year at the school, and it became very apparent to her that she had great skill in subjects such as Ancient Runes, Defensive Studies, and Wizarding History. During her stay at Ilvermorny, Regina was a vigilant member of the Dueling Club, elected member of the Student Council, and graduated knowing without question what she wanted to do with her life.
While Salem Wizarding University had their eyes on Regina, she only thought it logical that she travel across the globe to Cairo to obtain a university degree and begin her career as a curse-breaker. Full of ambition and determination to get out in the field as soon as she could, Regina partook in an accelerated programme at Cairo Wizarding University to obtain degrees in both Behavourial Sciences and Rune Study. Within six semesters of intense study, the woman graduated with honours and was hired by the Egyptian branch of Gringotts Wizarding Bank and assigned to be part of a group of six older wizards and witches. Though the youngest person on her team, she held her own weight and proved early on how resourceful, attentive to detail, and precise she really was. Numerous times the team found themselves in near-death situations, and numerous times Regina was the one to get them out of it with the gold and other items of significance that they were to retrieve.
Gold, gems, and rubies were not all that Regina found deep within cursed tombs; she found love and the beginnings of a family. After building a solid reputation for herself after two years, Clifton Faulkner stole her heart the moment he literally bumped into her after getting lost from his own team of curse-breakers. Even though she berated him for his stupidity, she could not help but smile at him fondly and, unlike herself, instantly agree to go on a date with him the moment they found their way out of the pyramid they were excavating. The date quickly turned into more dates, then a proposal, and finally marriage. The couple then made the decision to transfer from Egypt and return to their American roots, where they both had many adventures together in places such as Yellowstone, Mount Rushmore, and the Appalachian Mountains. In spite of their many escapades, their greatest feat was bringing life into the world in the form of Veronica Faulkner-Hawthorne.
The birth of Veronica was what put an end to her career as a curse-breaker and opened the doorway into the world of education. Finding herself unable to take care of a newborn and continue working in a dangerous field simultaneously, Regina left Clifton's side in the world of curse-breaking and was hired as a teaching assistant for the Defensive Studies professor she had when she was in school. Working alongside Thomas Sanders was an enriching experience and made her consider going back to university to earn a degree in Wizarding Education. Before going forth with those plans, the man's health took a sudden turn during the spring holiday and left Regina to take full control of the classroom and its many responsibilities. In the end, the then headmaster was impressed with her collectedness and practicality and offered Regina a full-time teaching position for the following year, which she accepted without batting a single eye.
Even though she built a reputable name for herself whilst teaching at Ilvermorny, the distance gradually tore her family apart. On the eve of their tenth anniversary, Regina discovered that Clifton had been having an affair with a young woman, relatively fresh from university, that had been assigned to his curse-breaking team. This broke the woman's heart right in two, and, unable to believe Clifton no matter how many times he said that it meant nothing and that he would change his ways, caused a drastic change in her leading to a divorce that resulted in shared custody. Veronica, six years old at the time, had a difficult time accepting the situation and, breaking Regina's heart even more, blamed her for being unforgiving. The divorce drove a rift in their mother-daughter relationship, which only grew further year after year and worsened when her daughter was enrolled for her first year at Ilvermorny and outright refused to attend her Defensive Studies lessons out of spite.
Unable to cope and seeing the situation as doing more harm than good, Regina made the decision to press the restart button on her life by following her brother and his family across the Atlantic. Hearing word about Mohamed Sahnoun's resignation from the school, she immediately applied for the head administrative position at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft of Wizardry. Within a matter of weeks, she found herself shaking the hand of the president of the Hogwarts Board of Governors and began settling in to being the headmistress of the school.
Text Cut: Family Origin
The American origin of the Hawthorne family started when William Hathorne, the son of an English yeoman, left Britain in 1630 to be free of persecution from wizarding authorities. Through great ambition and talent, William became a distinguished figure in Salem, Massachusetts, and known throughout early New England as an energetic and widely influential man. Within the span of 20 years, he quickly rose as prosperous merchant, served as a deputy, magistrate, and governor's assistant, in addition to being appointed as captain of Salem's military company. Before his death 1681, he married Anne Smith and had eight children: Mary, Sarah, Eleazer, Nathaniel, John, Anna, William, and Elizabeth.
John, born in 1641, expanded on the successes of his father by building a small empire based on land and merchant trade to England and the West Indies. In addition, he held positions of authority in Salem and was appointed a justice of the peace in Essex County. In early 1692, accusations of witchcraft began to circulate and cause mass hysteria in the village. John and magistrate Jonathan Corwin were called upon to question and sentence the accused, which the former did harshly without guilt. All this John did under a religious guise though associated with Scourers as he sought vengeance against wizards that threatened his status and desire to scare No-Majs off land he was invested in. Following the creation of MACUSA in 1693 and gaining intel about the Scourer executions that were to come, John eluded justice and vanished into a No-Maj community.
Nathaniel, John's great-great-grandson born in 1804, lived with maternal relatives, the Mannings, in Salem with his mother and two sisters following the death of his father. He resided in Salem for 10 years, where he became aware of William and his accomplishments though remained unaware about John's name-staining deeds. In the summer of 1816, Nathaniel's uncles built him and his family a house in Maine, which was where he lived until he returned to Salem for college in his early twenties. During this time in his life, a love of writing and an interest in his family history developed. Shortly after graduating from college, Nathaniel learned the truth about John and his actions during the Salem Witch Trials. Appalled by the discovery, he added a "w" to his surname in an effort to dissociate himself from his notorious forbearer and centred much of his written work on Puritan New England and the inherent evil of humanity.
Generations of Hawthornes that followed did not easily forget the truth that Nathaniel unveiled. Because of this, many families left New England to shed away the sins of their forefather and spread their roots throughout the United States. Melbourne was born to Magizoologist & Dragonologist Carter and his Potioneer & Magizolooigst wife Lilian Johanson, while they were working on the Welsh Dragon Reserve. The couple was not planning on having any more children after their previous daughter had been born; still they welcomed their newest child and treated her with a modicum of love and appreciation. Since Mr. & Mrs. Johanson wanted to dedicate more time to their work they enlisted the help of their children in order to raise their youngest child. This was partially done as they didn’t want any unsavory incidents to occur and raising a child on a Dragon Reserve was not an appealing idea. However, as they were unwilling to divulge more time to their youngest child as they felt their work in the field would prove more fulfilling then the act of rearing another child. When Melbourne was only a few months old she was sent to live with her brother Jamison-Philip Johanson and his wife Brigid and their children. Brigid had recently lost a child and took Melbourne in as her own, nurturing and caring for the young girl until her untimely death while working in her potions lab.
This death not only hit Melbourne hard as Brigid was like a mother to her, it hit Jamison and his daughters Jennifer (surviving youngest), Maddox, and Clarissa equally as hard. This death prompted Melbourne to be sent off to live with her brother Finnlay Johanson as he did not have any children of his own and unlike his brother could presumably dedicate more time to the wayward child. Finnlay had his hands full from day one. This was impart due to the fact that not soon after moving to Finnlay’s home near Ambleside Cumbria Melbourne met her neighbor, and future best-friend Tenacius Salander. The young girl would run away from her brothers house only to be found moments later playing with Tenacius Salander or covered in mud attempting to reach her neighbors house. Through living with her brother Melbourne met Emmaleigh Swynford, a woman with whom Melbourne looked up to and feared in a respectful way. This was due to the fact that Emmaleigh had a very maternal way of speaking with her, it was later when Emmaleigh became her best friend Tenacius’ mother that Mel’s true anxiety with the older woman began to grow. This was more due to the fact that Melbourne didn’t want to cross the Salander woman or to get reprimanded by a woman that she dearly respected. Through meeting Emmaleigh and Tenacius, Melbourne became friends with Samantha Swynford. Samantha though she lived farther away was a constant figure in her childhood due to the fact that Sam’s sister, Emmaleigh worked along side her brother Finn.
When Finnlay Johanson began a new relationship Melbourne immediately got a new babysitter through the interaction. This baby sitter was none other than roller-derby star and Slytherin Extraordinaire Rorie Hazelwood – the niece of her brothers girlfriend. Soon after this her brother Finn was hired to work with the Ambleside Cumbria Wizarding University and the time he could dedicate to his sister was limited at best. This prompted Melbourne to move in with her sister India Johanson in the city where India was building her clothing store. While India was busy she made an executive decision to put her family friend and someone her parents had considered to be family down as a joint guardian along with herself. This originally was meant to be a preemptive measure incase anything happened to any of the siblings, however, things changed. The change happened in the form of a marriage between Thunder Ward and Dustin Sorin. The couple thusly became the Sorin-Ward family, and as both men had grown to love Melbourne they petitioned the siblings for custody of the young girl as they felt she deserved a stable home. This all took place while Melbourne was beginning her first years of Hogwarts and the custody agreements were finalized by the end of her second year.
It was in Hogwarts where Melbourne became good friends with witches and wizards of all walks of life. The newly sorted Gryffindor even met her best friend nearly instantly in her first year at the school, which proved interesting as the girl became to be known as family. This new feeling of family shared with Hadley Denaker wasn’t short lived as it so happened that Melbourne and Hadley’s single grandparents met while they were attending school and developed a relationship. The couple even planned to marry in the summer of 2092.

Liesl tries to be a social butterfly, but she fails miserably at it. She is not too fond of people, and small talk makes her anxious and bored. Liesl Jolina Berkovich was born in Orlando, Florida at 11:30a on May 9, 2077. She was the only daughter of Gabriele Agneta Berkovich, an Auror at MACUSA. The father of Liesl was long gone from the picture before the little girl was born (or so she thinks), and even to this day, Liesl has no idea who her father is. There is only a few picture in the family that know the man, but they do not want him involved in the girl's life.
When Liesl was about to turn four months old, her mother tragically passed away during a mission. In Gabriele's will, Donovan, her younger brother was suppose to be next in line for guardianship, but he was only 17 years old and still attending Hogwarts. Gabriele's parents, Emilia and Matthew Berkovich, gained custody of the little girl up until 2090.
She attended Primary Wizarding School from Fall 2081 to Spring 2088. Her grandparents seriously considered finding someone to homeschool Liesl due to their fear of the dangers at Hogwarts, but since they knew no other magical family, they send their granddaughter to get on the Hogwarts Express in September 2088.
In the summer of 2090, Donovan decided that he was ready to go through with Gabriele's wishes of taking care of his niece. She has lived with him and her Aunt Keiyona every since.

Théodore has pretty much always gotten what he want as a child with his two siblings being much older than him and letting him get what he wants. Kalen was born to Violet and Ethan Kennedy, he was the third of four brothers with Graham being the oldest, Chase being the second oldest, Kalen and then Skye was born two years after Kalen. Kalen's magical powers showed up one day when he was 6, when he jumped off the roof of his playhouse and instead of falling and breaking something, he floated down peacefully. His Hogwarts letter showed up when he turned 11, and just a few weeks later Kalen joined his brothers at Hogwarts. Graham was a Gryffindor and Chase was a Ravenclaw. Kalen was hoping to be in one of his brothers houses but as soon as the hat touched his head, it sorted him into Slytherin. Kalen was rather disappointed, but he made some close friends quickly and realized he was best suited for this house.. When his little brother Skye came to Hogwarts, he was sorted into Hufflepuff. And thus all four brothers were sorted into different houses.
When Kalen graduated from Hogwarts he got into the University of Cambridge, and got his BA in English Literature in three years instead of four and graduated top of his class, all due to a bet with his brother Chase that he could graduate college quicker than he had and with better grades.. Kalen won the bet and therefore Chase had to pay for his first year of his masters degree. As well as always heal him for free.
Kalen got his Masters in Library Sciences and went back to work at the Library of the University of Cambridge, while working at the Library of Cambridge, Kalen indulged in his love for the stars and got a degree in Astronomy as well. It took him a few years, but he was determined to stay busy after the death of his wife and this fit the bill.
While at Hogwarts, Kalen met and fell in love with Serena Bass, a Ravenclaw in his year, the two were inseparable and in his 7th year he proposed to her...
Despite college life being a bit hard, the two married and Serena was in school to become a Herbolgist, they had been married for four years when she was killed in a splinching incident.. Kalen hasn't apparated since the day she died.
When an opportunity for a chance to teach at Hogwarts came up, he jumped at it.. and is eager to be back at the school he so loved.
