Maggie is under the impression that the world should and does revolve around her. Coming to Hogwarts has however been quite a reality check for her and especially some of her friends (Dima, ahem) have made her become more conscious of other people's feelings. And while she still isn't too concerned with them, Maggie has found it is easier to go through life without actively antagonizing others.
Genuine emotions are quite hard to come by with Maggie. Unless she's caught completely off-guard. Which doesn't happen a lot. Or she really does trust someone completely and is comfortable enough to be herself around them. Which is only a handful of people.

{HISTORY}
Growing up as an only child to Muggles Paul and Marina Traulton in Los Angeles, Magdalena soon realized that she could have anything she wanted - as long as she pouted a little and asked her daddy nicely. Working as a corporate lawyer Paul had the money but not necessarily the time to spend with his daughter. However, he didn't exactly try to make time for her either. Maggie's mother on the other hand tried to shape her daughter into her ideal image of what a girl should be like.
While personally – feeling neglected by her husband – seeking distraction elsewhere.
No one would ever have found out that not Paul but rather Jeremy Zookara was Magdalena's biological father – Marina had become very good at covering up the truth. That is until their daughter started showing signs of being able to do magic. At first Marina had been trying to ignore them, hoping that the magic would simply disappear if not actively encouraged.
Unfortunately for her, that is not how magic works.
Eventually Marina had to confess to her husband who immediately left both her and their daughter. A divorce followed only shortly after and Marina's only option was to contact her former lover and father of her child. Jeremy suggested that Maggie should go to Hogwarts, seeing as he'd previously been working there. Needing a fresh start anyway, Marina agreed and moved them to England. Which is where Marina and Magdalena still live now, in a small apartment, not really able to afford anything better. However, seeing as Maggie is still trying to keep up appearances she never invites anyone over and chooses to wait in front of a rather luxurious house in the neighborhood when somebody picks her up. Or more recently has begun using Jeremy's house as "hers".

_Bio & Personality_ Keane was born to Terrence and Dana McGinnis on January 10th 2070. His Grandfather, and namesake, Keane O’Carroll is a well renowned Pureblood Irish Businessman and Real Estate Mogul would name him his heir to the Family Fortune. Keane lived with both his parents up until he was 8 when they divorced. He would live his Mother during the week and see his Father on the weekends for a year. His Father was an independent Potioneer, and one day there was an explosion in his shop that killed his Father. This left his Mother with very little help in caring for Keane so she hired on a Butler by the name of Grayson Todd Drake. for the next few years Grayson cared for Keane when his mother could not, growing attached to the boy and becoming something of a Father figure all while also falling in love with his Mother (who shared the same feelings). They married much to Keane’s grandfather’s disapproval. So much so he revoked the heir status to his fortune from Keane until his Mother would divorce the Muggleborn Butler. Keane’s mother and Grayson did not have a lasting marriage unfortunately despite her protests to unmarry Grayson Drake. She passed away from illness, and left Grayson as Keane’s legal Guardian. Grayson took Keane away from Ireland to Holyhead, Wales. To move further away from his Grandfather who has begun a legal battle against Grayson, to gain custody of Keane.
Keane was a well raised child by his parents; he has good manners, treats others with respect. Since their divorce and each of their deaths, Keane has grown more distant to others and has not made many friends. His Butler/Step-Dad/Guardian, Grayson Drake home schooled him since he was 8. As well as teaching him self-defense and dueling basics. He has little patience for anyone who doesn’t reciprocate the same level of respect he was taught to give and loses his temper easily to those who he deems to have poor attitudes towards others and him.

Personality- Aegis is a bit of a Hot Head, and very short tempered. He’s also very Naďve and will cause a lot of awkwardness around him. Aegis is a bit of a Ladies Man, picking up this trait from his Uncle, much to his Grandmother’s disdain. Aegis can be seen as Dedicated to setting up large goals for himself and will focus entirely on that until it is achieved. Thinking Small is not thinking at all.
Bio- Aegis was born to Jerome’ and Xaria Dane on September 1st 2069 in a small town just outside of Paris, France. Jerome’ was a Muggle Artist just barely making ends meet, and Xaria was a Rebellious Witch who had defied her parents by Eloping with Jerome’.
Only 2 years after Aegis’ Birth his Mother went missing under mysterious circumstances. This left Aegis with only his poor Father, who for the next few years struggled caring for him.
When Aegis turned 7 he showed his 1st sign of Magic. Realizing that he could not care for any child, Magical or Not his Father came to Aegis’ Uncle, Harvey Gunter. Who he had learned previously by his Wife had taken another young boy into his Home. Hoping that Harvey would care for Aegis, when he could not.
For the next few years Aegis was home schooled by his Grandmother, who lived with his Uncle, and Older Adopted Brother. When he became of Age finally to begin an education at a Magical School, his Uncle started him at Salem, rather than Hogwarts, due to the Previous year’s Dementor Problem.
While Attending Salem Institute, Aegis was introduced to the American Game of Quodpot. He had already been accustomed to Quidditch during his time in Europe, but he slowly began to grow fond of the American Game. Improving his skills and focusing all his efforts at becoming even greater at Quodpot.
By his 4th Year in Salem Aegis’ grades began to slip, but he cared little for School now, He was accepted into a Junior Quodpot League. Where he would play until he was old enough to try out for the Pro Quodpot League.

Emmylou is a very shy, Peter Pan obsessed and quiet teen but she can be outspoken at times when you least expect it. Emmy is very outgoing, funny and caring once you get to know her. Emmylou Leela Duchannes was born on a early stormy morning in New Orleans, Louisiana to Amara Holmes and Benedict Duchannes. Emmy’s parents had known each other since their first year, they were best friends until in their fifth year they started dating. Emmylou was born eight months after parents had graduated from Hogwarts. Benedict went into the family fishing and farming business. Amara is a Broadway star, she had been in five Broadway shows since graduating Hogwarts, she is now starring in Wicked as Glinda the Good Witch.
The last few years have been tough on Benedict and Amara’s relationship because Amara has been living in New York City while Benedict has been in Alabama taking care of Emmylou for half of her life. Amara barely visits her husband and daughter anymore.

Third Year { 2083 - 2084 }
Emmylou had mostly been sleeping on her very first train ride, she was tired out from all the fun she had been having over the summer holiday and she was over excited about going to Hogwarts and being sorted into one of the four houses. Emmylou was very nervous yet very excited about the sorting ceremony, she didn’t know how to contain herself. At first Emmylou didn’t know that her name of called, she was paying attention but maybe it was just the shock of finally being at Hogwarts and not at Beauxbatons that made her happy. Emmylou felt like it was taking her forever to finally get sorted once it was finally her turn. To Emmylou it seemed like the sorting hat was trying to find the perfect place to put her. She didn’t want it to be in Slytherin partly because she knew that she wouldn’t fit in there and it would have been the wrong house. It was her mother that had put the pressure on her for having to be in a certain house. Emmylou was very happy once she got sorted into Gryffindor. Some of her friends were in that house and her favorite and other Aunt was in that house when she went to Hogwarts, but on her way over to the table she ended up falling on her face, it could have just been the smell of the food or her being over excited about finally having a house to call her own.

Born in June on a cold stormy night, the Winchesters were blessed with having a son after trying countless times. His father naming him after his favorite football team and type of gun, he was a little miracle. A few years later coming from a military style family, he was always switching schools. The eldest daughter of Celandine Kettleburn nee Toussaint and Copernicus Kettleburn, Charlotte Hannah Kettleburn was born December 15 2075 in the Irish countryside cottage her parents had settled in as newlyweds. She was doted on and very quickly exposed to the nerdy pursuits of her Ravenclaw parents to the point where one of her first words was 'Pharaoh', and she had a collection of rocks before she was two years old. She wasn't the only child for long however, her brother Callum Kettleburn was born June 11 2077, and sister Chloe Kettleburn followed on March 21 2080.
When Chloe was a toddler, Charlotte put her in Zahra Kettleburn's trunk and attempted to send her to Hogwarts along with her aunt Zahra and cousin Michael Toussaint who were third years at the time. However the gig was soon up and Chloe's little adventure was cut short when Char admitted to their mother that she had sent her away to Hogwarts. She got in a lot of trouble but after that she began to warm up more to Chloe and became slightly more willing to share their very patient brother with her. When it comes to anyone else, she is fiercely protective of both her brother and her sister.
Charlotte lives with her family in the Kettleburn ancestral home, Roseacre, which is in the village of Grasmere in the Lake District, which her father inherited when she was just a toddler. When she is home she spends most of her time outside playing in the gardens.
Charlotte is a bubbly, friendly girl and in this way she often reminds people of her mother. However Charlotte is rather more of a whirlwind who tends to leave destruction and exhaustion in her wake as she has an abundance of energy and curiosity which sees her getting into all sorts of things. She's very smart and very creative. As a child she was prone to wild flights of fancy and making up stories for fun, though as she experiences the world this tendency is becoming less. She also is fairly impatient and impetuous, rather lacking in her attention span, and quite the fidget so that she rarely sits still. Conversely, she's surprisingly astute and observant, and because of her innate curiosity she tends to notice the little details that other people miss, especially when it comes to people and their moods. She is bold, enjoys exploring, and likes to be the boss. She is used to being heard and will always speak up if she has an opinion or a question. Charlotte loves animals of all kinds, magical and mundane. She hasninefivethree had pet garden snails (Marvin (DECEASED), Fester (DECEASED), Glen(DECEASED), Albuquerque (DECEASED), Mr. Mistoffelees (DECEASED), Herman (LOST), The Captain (DECEASED), Agnes (DECEASED), and Winona (DECEASED)) and she used to paint their shells with all sorts of designs. Her family has an aging pet crup called Pip, and several abraxans and other magical horses in a breeding stable. She and her best childhood friend David Truebridge once attempted to create frankenworms from regular garden worms and flobberworms by cutting them in half and attaching them together, which worked for about six seconds. Char is not afraid of getting her hands dirty and loves working in the garden with her mother, or digging in sand with her father who is a wizarding archaeologist.
Char is very close with her siblings, especially Callum. She at times resents her sister Chloe because she doesn't like to have to share Callum with her, or the attention of their parents, but really she adores her baby sister. As she grows older she appreciates her younger sister more and more. She is also very close with her cousins, of which she has plenty. Charlotte generally is a very loving and affectionate girl with her friends and family, and fiercely loyal.
While all Charlotte's grandparents are magical (making her a pureblood by the third generation rule), she has one muggle great grandmother on her father's side. The rest of her ancestry is as pure as it gets and also very international. Her heritage includes French and English on her father's side, and Italian, Russian, and French on her mother's side.

Owen Thyago was born to single mother Arwen Ainsworth (then Montezor) on September 23, 2075. Being born to a household mainly composed of females (his mother lived with her mother and sisters then), Owen was easily exposed to the feminine perspective in life. This is why his #1 favorite color is pink. This meant that as Owen grew up, he learned how to properly sweep, dust and do basic household chores. He can do his own laundry. He can also cook which he personally took after his mother who is a culinary professional in the muggle world herself.
Owen never knew his biological father. His mother rarely talks about him. The only thing he knows is that his father, though also muggle-born, was the one who introduced his mother to the world of magic and wizardry.
When Owen was 6, the lack of parental figure changed. His mother married the businessman and half-blood wizard, Hugh Ainsworth and they moved to England with him. Owen took the marriage quite well. He was glad to see his mother so happy. He was also very happy because his stepfather felt like a true father to him. He taught him things that only a father can teach his son such as playing sports and choosing the best boy!shoes. And because his stepfather knew more of the wizarding world than his mother, Owen learned the wizarding history and basic spells through him. They even had a special project together when they moved to their new house in London - a treehouse.
When he was 9, Owen became a big brother. His mother gave birth to a second child, this time a girl whom they name Harriette. Owen nicknamed her Harri after the famous Harry Potter. His sister is his favorite person in the world, or so he claims. When he's home, Owen would either be seen playing with his stepsister or taste-testing his mother's mouthwatering creations.
This is why he's chubby.
His weight doesn't make Owen pessimistic or negative though. In fact, he is a very optimistic person. He likes to think that him being full of baby fat means that he is a very supportive son. Plus, he is his own pillow and that is a feat in itself because Owen loves his sleep.
He is friendly and easy to talk to. One who has a ready smile for anyone, hence provoking him would be nearly impossible. He is also very determined once he sets his mind to something. He may be average smart but he pays it off with his heart for patience, perseverance and flexibility to changes. He is a dreamer, which means that there are many things in life that he hopes to achieve.

It's evident that the confidence in the Broadmoor family skipped a child when it came to Ruby. The quiet one of the family, she is perfectly willing to sit back and let her siblings take the spotlight. Ruby is quite reserved and takes a while to warm up to unfamiliars but always remains polite in introductions despite the serious look on her face, inherited from her father. This can make her appear grumpy or standoffish but truly she is just deep in thought. Once familiar, Ruby is a bubbly and charismatic little girl. Ruby was the second child to be in the Broadmoor family to parents Trixie and Freddie after older sister Tabitha. Born at their cliff top home in the popular seaside resort of St Ives, Cornwall Ruby has become accustomed thanks to her muggle-born father and pureblood mother to both ways of life. Her identical twin brothers Daniel and Isaac were born in the November of 2079. As a child Ruby was undeniably spoilt and gained a close relationship to her father although she retained a loving relationship with her mother too. She was diagnosed with epilepsy at a young age and thankfully her condition has been controlled by medication.
Her mother works as a healer at her own surgery for those under the age of 18 that are especially nervous of going to hospital environments inspired by her best friends fear of hospitals whilst at school. She is also the owner of a popular local riding stables. Her father currently stays at home to look after and educate the children although is looking to start his own business too.
Much of her childhood has been uneventful and sheltered, the family live on their own private estate and therefore she hasn't met many children of her age. However she often goes to the Falmouth Falcon’s pitch where Oliver teaches her and her sister to play Quidditch where she has met a couple of friends pre-Hogwarts. There have also been rough patches in the family history involving false accusations implied on her father although Ruby was young and barely remembers the dark period of time.
Nowadays family life is happy and relaxed. She received her Hogwarts letter on her eleventh birthday and she is very much looking forward to joining her sister at the school.

Justin was born in London, England. His mother, Lucille, was a fashion designer of robes for famous witches and wizards. His father, Mathias McLeod, was a General of the British Army on the muggle side. The family had travelled a lot due to his parents' work. Justin also has a younger brother named James and sister Abigail. His first signs of being a wizard showed early at the age of five. Justin's a fairly care-free individual who had a lot of interests in mind as a child into his teenage years.
History
Justin attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry at the age of eleven like every other kid after accepting the infamous letter in 2060. Despite being considered flighty, it was his heavy ambition and thirst to get the best before anyone else ever could that earned him a spot in the house of Slytherin. His time there went well (with the exception of certain school events) for the most part. He made friends, dated a few girls and excelled well in all of his seven years in school.
Justin then moved on to Wizarding University for the next five years before securing a teaching position in Durmstrang Institute. Tragic family news resulted in him moving back to London where he was closer with his siblings again where he took on the job as a Photographer working for The Quibbler. His years there were great as he gained instant access to popularised events and travelling to different countries to photograph the unusual. Now looking for another change, Justin took on the opportunity to be working for his former school.

Illiana and Elvin had Marietta when they were young and weren't ready for a kid. The two were about to put Marietta up for adoption before they decided that they wanted to keep her. As a result, the two were cast out by their families. They struggled for a while with finances before the two found jobs to keep the family afloat. Though the two never married (both always saying they're too busy for it), they are very much in love and try to shower Marietta with attention whenever they can. Elvin, a halfblood, works as an architect while Illiana, a muggle, works as a fashion photographer. Illiana says that Marietta is her muse and is constantly trying to take pictures of her.
{Personality }
Marietta is a sweet child who is easily excited and amazed by things around her. With her father at work a lot, Marietta never knew too much about magic seeing as her mother was a muggle. She also gets her feelings hurt easily even though she tries to put on a brave face. It usually doesn't work and she ends up crying. She has a tendency to trip over her shoelaces a lot because she isn't too great at tying pretty bows yet and as a result, she finds herself getting injured often. Marietta loves the company of others because she grew up as an only child and doesn't like to be alone. She gets lonely very quickly which is why she is constantly trying to make friends.

Kaycee spent her pre-Hogwarts years in Miami. Before Hogwarts, she was homeschooled. Since the age of seven, she toured around the country, accompanied by her brother and mother, to compete in various urban dance / hip hop dance competitions. She developed a name for herself, after being awarded several trophies, before the family moved to England for her father's work.

She worked up a routine of studying during the year and competing during breaks. The summer before her fifth year, she had the opportunity to fill in as an instructor in a workshop. FAMILY HISTORY
Paulina's family is not perfect by any means, though she still loves them. She is the last of five children that her parents had before they split up. Now her mother is married, and Paulina has five half-siblings; she is used to having a big family so this does not bother her at all. The last time she saw her older sister, Adeline was when Paulina was about seven years old. Because of her young age she did not really understand why her sister had left. She basically forgot what Adeline looked like though she could never forget her sister otherwise. A few months ago they spotted each other in Hogsmeade and had an awkward conversation. It was here that she met Adeline's daughter so now she knows that she is an aunt.

Paulina attended Beauxbatons Academy of Magic from the age of 11 to the age of 16. Living in Japan, she would be far from home during each term, though it was something that she got used to. Holidays were always something that she looked forward to because it meant that she could go home and spend time in Osaka with her loved ones.
School was enjoyable for Paulina, and she felt that Beauxbatons was a beautiful place to be. She had heard a little about Hogwarts, but felt that there was no way it could ever compare to Beauxbatons. It really was the best place on earth in her opinion; even when times started to get rough for her later on in her educational career, she still loved her school.
Some other students started bullying her during Fifth Year. On top of the fact that she could be so shy, Paulina didn't care about the way she dressed, and that was plain weird in the view of a lot of the other girls at Beauxbatons. Paulina loved escaping those troubles through gardening and studying Herbology. She had discovered that nurturing plants was something that she was naturally good at. Taking care of nature made her feel at peace and as if she was helping to make the world a more beautiful place.
When she got tired of the bullying, Paulina wanted out of Beauxbatons despite her love of the castle. Hogwarts seemed like the best choice for her as she did not want to transfer over to Durmstrang.
SEVENTH YEAR // PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT
Incredibly shy, Paulina was not looking forward to attending a new school and even tried to get out of it at least once. She felt that maybe she had made a mistake in leaving after all, but she ended up sticking through with her plan and she is now happy though she misses her best friend a lot (they keep in contact through letters). Since attending Hogwarts she has made some good friends, most notably Benjamin Atreyu, Aditya Rehman, and Hadleigh Lynch.
Her best classes have been Herbology and Transfiguration - the latter coming as rather a surprise to her. It is through the help of her favourite Professors (Myers and York) that she has improved her knowledge in these subjects. They have helped her out a lot and she is very grateful for them and will miss them a lot when she leaves. Professor York has also helped Paulina in practicing in order to become an animagi. She has a lot of work to do, but she is confident that she will get there if she keeps trying. Another Professor who has really helped her is Dakest. Not only is he a very good teacher, but through the Duelling Club she has learned skills to help improve her dueling capabilities. Though the matches stress her out a fair bit she has tried her best to have fun and has been improving with each opponent she has gone up against.

About Beatrice Personality: Beatrice is a deep thinker, enjoys contemplating theories, people and her experiences. History
Beatrice was born in Inverness, and was homeschooled by her mother and grandmother until, at age 11, she got her letter of acceptance into Hogwarts. She attended the school for seven years, and was placed in Hufflepuff. Here, she excelled in the practices of transfiguration, charms, and potions, though due to her fear of larger and dangerous animals, she didn’t find as much enjoyment in Care of Magical Creatures, and dropped the lesson as soon as she could. Once she had graduated from the school, she was accepted into the Wizarding University of Edinburgh to study her Masters of Transfiguration. Upon completion, with a desire to teach the subject, she went on to study a degree of education.
Upon completing her tertiary studies, she moved to London for a change of scenery, and found jobs in tutoring young witches and wizards in their pre-Hogwarts ages. Upon seeing an advertisement for a Transfiguration post at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Beatrice decided to apply and was delighted when Headmaster Botros offered her a place.

Being the youngest of the youngest (yes, Teddy was just five minutes older than her) doesn't really make Ava is a spoiled brat. Instead, she grew up being independent and loves working hard for everything. She always tries her best to fight for something she wants/deserves such as her dream to be an auror and her relationship.
She is loyal to her people and when it comes to meet someone new, Ava will always being sincerely nice unless that person messes with her or her people and when she hates a person, Ava could be a very mean banshee. Sometimes she can be a little bit prankster and teases her friends, boyfriend or even her siblings but it's just because she loves them.
Academia-wise... Ava is quite above average student, proven by her OWLs results. She prefers the lessons which involve more activity rather than just theoretical ones because she's a kinesthetic learner. Mostly she would end up takng a nap at some boring lessons.

Lisabel and Alexander were a very happy loving parents with two children. But then, one day Lisabel found out that she was pregnant again. She gave birth to the twins on summer, just a day before her eldest daughter’s birthday. They named them Ava and Theodore. Their childhood was… odd. They didn’t really have close relationship to the older siblings because of the age distance were too far and they left home because of personal issues that they were too young to know.
She went to muggle elementary school where Lisabel worked there as the teacher. Ava was known for being a mischievous girl who often caused trouble. But the students known her as fearless girl who often stood up against the bullies. Though Teddy and her had different personality, but they always be there for each other. Teddy often helped her with the homework and Ava often stood up against the mean kids who bother him. At home she and Teddy also got tutor about wizarding world from their father.
She didn't know much about her older siblings until a few years ago, Dima came with his wife and little son. Then he brought her to meet their older sister. Ava still wondered why her sister didn't want to come home but... She's glad when she discovered about Zhenya, the older sister.

Background
Dot Wojack-Gusey was born 26 March, 2072, or at least that's the date she celebrates her birthday. Soon after her birth, Dot was adopted by Stella Wojack, a Healer and midwife. She was informally adopted by Stella's roommate, Ogden Gusey, and her childhood was spent living in middle class comfort just outside of London. It wasn't until Christmas of Dot's second year that Stella and Ogden got married, and she became a hyphenated 'Wojack-Gusey'. A year later, her brother Samuel "Bubba" Gusey was born. Although he isn't related biologically, Bubba is Dot's baby brother utterly and completely and made her family finally coalesce.
Dot attended Durmstrang for her first year, but she was eager to transfer as a second year in order to attend school with friends she'd made in her pre-Durmstrang/Hogwarts days. Her time at Durmstrang was hard and friendless, and she happily came to Hogwarts as a second year. Despite initial disappointment that she wasn't sorted with her friends, she's come to recognize the benefits of being a Slytherin and has blossomed there.
Personality
The Wojack-Gusey household is an interesting mix of personalities, and each of her parents left their mark on the funny little ginger they adopted. Stella Wojack-Gusey, busybody midwife and Healer, can't keep a secret to save her life. With such an open personality, Stella struggles constantly at living in a house with the taciturn Ogden Gusey, who holds secrets and information close like prized jewels. Between the constant struggle to communicate with a mother who over-communicates and wants to dissect every moment and emotion in conversation, and the fight to build a relationship with a father figure who gives very little away, Dot tends to overshare when it doesn't matter to cover up the information that does. Knowledge is power and information given can never be taken back, and Dot prefers to err on the side of careful judgment before speaking... which is ironic, given that she comes across as a chatterbox.
Although she can be bright and engaging with those who have earned her trust and who don't make her feel scrutinized, Dot can come comes across as sullen and odd. She doesn't like being made to feel stupid, and she prefers to understand the rules of engagement before jumping in with both feet. Her general mistrust of strangers and her reticence to share even on a good day have developed in Dot a self-sufficiency and the tendency to try to handle things herself.
The Wojack-Gusey household never really wanted for the basics during Dot's childhood - she never went hungry, she had clothes and toys and good schooling - but they are definitely not wealthy, and Dot's proximity to the upper class throughout her childhood made that very apparent. Stella wanted very much for Dot to have a normal childhood, making her do chores for an allowance, declining to buy her new clothes when the old ones fit perfectly well, and enrolling her in some rather pedestrian after school activities to socialize Dot with 'normal' children. Still, Dot has a stubborn streak and a single-minded willfulness to have her way, and any deprivations in her childhood were made over by her own ingenuity. She has a well developed sense of personal style, often wearing clothes she made over herself or carefully recreated to appeal to her aesthetic.

First and foremost, Riley is an extremely friendly person who has no problem striking up a conversation with anyone she meets. You’ll first notice she has endless enthusiasm and endless questions – hopefully she’ll grow out of the questioning. Due to her optimistic and trusting nature, she generally sees and expects the best in people, and is thoroughly disappointed when that isn’t the case. When someone disappoints her, she can give them the cold shoulder like you wouldn’t believe. If you’re on her good side, though, she can be very encouraging and supportive.
In terms of lessons and education, she is very keen to learn. Again, asking a lot of questions is something to get used to. She will generally argue her point if she feels strongly enough about it, but is also very open to listening to why someone disagrees with her. She’d very open-minded in that respect. One thing that is often paired with her a gazillion questions is her need to be precise. She likes to know things exactly – not vaguely.
Riley is extremely observant, imaginative, and persistent. She notices a lot: when she’s not spouting out questions, she’s listening, watching and taking in everything people are saying and doing around her.

Dora had a great life! A mum and dad who loved her to pieces, a twin brother she did EVERYTHING with! She even had a PRINCESS room complete with carriage style bed and EVERYTHING! But then it happened... Her Mum got sick. It came on unexpectedly and it hit hard and mercilessly. While Dora was too young at the time to fully understand, she did know something was wrong. Really, really wrong. Especially when they all packed up and went to Bali to stay a while. Dora loved to play in the water and watch the mermaids... but then again, she knew something was wrong. Her mummy never cried in front of her once, but she knew when she had been. Not to mention all of that, but all of her Aunties and Uncles came round to visit... All the way in Indonesia. Uncle Jimmy even brought her coloring books and stickers to keep her busy.
She knew what was going to happen before she could understand it really.
And then it happened as swiftly as it had all started. Dora watched it happen. Saw it all. And that was when she realized she could see the thestrals. They were prettier than anyone had ever told her. Beautiful in an ugly way. But, then it all changed again. No one was happy anymore. Nobody laughed for awhile, it seemed like... and everyone got real sad. Especially her daddy! The move back to the UK was quick and painless as it could be.
The transition was easier for the kids than it was for Nicolas, for obvious reasons, but as Dora grew older she had a hole in her heart that she never wanted to mention another soul. No one aside from Casper Greenwood anyway. He was her secret keeper. The one person that knew all of her secrets, the one that knew why she cried so often when no one else was around. Growing up was painful... but Casper made it easier. Casper always made things make sense
Hogwarts time...
Dora hated her first few years at Hogwarts. LOATHED. It wasn't home! Her dad wasn't there. Even her brother wasn't there, having opted for Durmstrang instead. Dora had had the same options, Beaux Durm or Hoggies, but she had wanted to feel closer to her mum so she made the decision, whether it hurt her to be away from Al or not. Of course she had Casper as always... and Char and some others. But it just wasn't home.
After toying with the idea of leaving for some time, she began to meet new people and learn new things. THings that made her realize she was in just the place she needed to be. Most of the time anyway.
As her school career stretched on she had her fair share of drama and nonsense, of course. As is the Gryffindor way. Her heart broke every time she lost a friend, but she grew stronger when she realized that not all of them were ever worth her time. She began to be a bit more closed off, only sharing her real thoughts and feelings with a select few. Dora learnt that one didn't have to surround oneself with a mass of people to live a happy life.
Sixth year would prove to be the most trying time of her life to date. She thought there would be glory in being chosen to compete in the International Magical Pupil Standoff... turns out there was only rage and ultimate embarrassment for her. The whole thing left a bad taste in the girls mouth from the start, but it only grew worse as the challenges moved on. Fighting a dementor and performing memory charms, being given a potion and having to solve a riddle after fighting the whomping willow,
To her final challenge: Having to rescue her best friend from a CAGE in a FROZEN TUNDRA. It infuriated the girl to no end, really. Unfortunately (or that was a matter of opinion) Dora was eliminated in the next to last challenge. She still beats herself up about that loss...

There was lots of drama and running away on her part, but it culminated in her breaking down once back at school. Her ever NOT PRESENT boyfriend, Casper, wasn't even a calming source for her. Finding an unlikely friendship with Flynn Kowalski, though, WAS the calming source she needed.

Born Astrid Baltazar-Baxter, Astrid now goes by Astrid Baxter (she dislikes hyphenated names). She was born to high born parents, Augusto Baxter and Romina Baltazar-Baxter, along with her fraternal twin, Alonzo. Due to the both so close to birth and the healers not taking note, it is unknown which of the twins is the oldest and which is the youngest. Their eldest brother, Isaiah, enjoys teasing them about this fact. Astrid, the ever patient, doesn’t mind whereas Isaiah, the ever intolerant, falls for it every time.
Growing up and although close to her parents, Astrid was closer to her brothers. They once packed up their mother’s bag with food, clothes, books, toys and blankets and ran away. The adults of course knew where their children were--which was in small shed half a mile from home--and kept surveillance of them and their little stunt. Isaiah, Astrid and Alonzo raced down the half a mile during a thunderstorm and never attempted running away.
Childhood was an easy part of life, probably the easiest for Astrid. During her teen years her eldest brother drifted apart as he went off to university and invested his time in healer studies. Along the road Isaiah got into a relationship, and while Astrid had to learn to share her brother, she knew there was something fishy about her brother’s new conquest. As it turns out the woman turned out to have a double life, and when Astrid told her brother, he accused her of being a jealous little sister. Thus trust issues started.
After graduating Hogwarts, Astrid went off to study at Wizarding University in Madrid, Spain. She focused her studies on Primary & Secondary Wizarding Education, as well as minoring in several other subjects such as Potions and Advance Defense Techniques. Astrid studied hard and relentlessly, her mind making no time for personal relationships. This created a rift between her and friends and a special someone. In order to stifle the feeling of loss, Astrid signed up for an internship the summer before her last year at uni. That’s where she discovered a knack for Charms. If it wasn’t for a teaching job she was offered, Astrid most likely would still be at the university pursuing more subjects.

Prior to Hogwarts, Daxton attended a total of three muggle primary schools, the last of which was a local school in Cornwall which had a specialist unit for children with social and behavioural issues. Though he likes learning and knowing things purely for the sake of it, he has never been a fan of being stuck in a classroom or of school in general, finding most of it easy and incredibly boring and allowing for very little creative learning. He prefers learning things in his own time and his own way, leading him to ignore the curriculum (and get below-average marks despite a genius-level IQ) and read up on subjects as and when it suits him.
Even before Hogwarts, Daxton had a vast array of knowledge beyond the muggle curriculum for his age group, particularly in subjects such as muggle history, literature, mythology, and science. He started teaching himself French and German (and Quenya, a result of his obsession with the Tolkien books) at age nine, and can understand and write these languages near-perfectly. In lieu of speaking, he has also been learning French (LSF) and German (DGS) Sign Language; however, with limited resources, this has proved to be a challenge. Additionally, Daxton has been teaching himself guitar since age eleven, and piano since age twelve. He has been interested in art for as long as he has been able to hold a pen, and is proficient at drawing and reproducing images in fine detail. Despite a high level of skill and intelligence in various areas, Daxton is severely lacking in social skills and etiquette, has very little knowledge or understanding of right and wrong, and his empathy level is non-existent. He tries to be careful and selective about displaying both his skills and his shortcomings, preferring his that as many facets of his personality as possible remain a mystery to those around him.
According to Daxton, there is no such thing as a 'weakest subject' for him. He grasps the theoretical side of all his classes with ease and considers his weakest subjects to be labeled so either because of his having fallen behind with practical magic in recent years, due to being non-verbal or because of a simple lack of interest.
Currently, there are only a handful of subjects that Daxton considers to be worth his time, for various reasons. His interest in actual lessons is almost non-existent, due to his dislike of groups of people and noise, and his tendency to get bored very quickly. Therefore, most of Daxton's studying is done on his own, through library books and textbooks stolen from older students, and he regularly skips classes and avoids homework, seeing little point in either.
He has a particularly strong interest in Defence Against the Dark Arts - due, in part, to his naturally high levels of suspicion and distrust - and despite being refused assistance in the past, is taking measures to learn both Occlumency and Legilimency, and has a growing interest in the Dark Arts. He is also in the process of inventing several new spells that would work to his advantage and make the world easier for him to navigate, or to use against others.
As Daxton is mostly non-verbal, he spent his first three years at Hogwarts casting no practical magic at all, though he would practice non-verbal magic on his own, ignoring instruction from his professors to make an attempt at speaking the incantations and start with casting the spells verbally. Because of his commitment to the pursuit of non-verbal magic, he succeeded in casting his first official non-verbal spell (the Levitation Charm) during the first few months of his fourth year, when he was fourteen years old. Prior to this, he had had limited success, only managing to send small 'zapping' shocks with his wand.
Despite managing non-verbal magic as early as his fourth year, Daxton does not consider this to be very much progress at all, and he is of the belief that Hogwarts (and the magical government in general) has, in fact, intentionally 'blunted' his magical ability. Through his fourth year, he has been focusing on attempting to non-verbally cast all of the spells his classmates have already mastered, intending to secretly catch up and surpass the other students. As such, and partly due to his powerful magical ability - evident since childhood - his arsenal of spells has already grown exponentially.
However, shortly after returning to school from the winter holidays in his fourth year, a series of events led Daxton to be pulled temporarily from school, for his own safety and the safety of others. He was then called to a meeting with Hirsch, his Head of House, and Sahnoun, the Headmaster, during which he was expelled from school, having already been on his final warning.
PERSONALITY
Daxton is incredibly solitary and usually prefers his own company. Thoroughly lacking in social skills and knowledge of social subtleties, he is terrible with manners, pleasantries, and other niceties. As such, he can be incredibly blunt, to-the-point, and overly honest with those he can communicate with, which often means that most social interactions he is involved in will likely have a negative outcome. Though for the most part his rudeness and mean attitude is unintentional, on occasion Daxton will go out of his way to be unpleasant to prevent anyone from liking or being nice to him. Because of this, he is not particularly likeable or approachable, and many prefer to give him a wide berth. This does not bother Daxton in the slightest. He also hates affection.
Daxton is considered by many to be 'strange' or a 'weird kid'. He does not speak, except around a very select few people and depending on a specific set of circumstances, and has a number of peculiar habits, such as roaming Hogwarts whilst wearing neither shoes nor socks - even in the winter months - and his curious fixation with other people's hair. Daxton is at his most comfortable when he is allowed to indulge in these habits, though they mainly serve to reinforce his reputation of being strange. Additionally, Daxton is on edge at all times. He lives in a state of constant anxiety, always on the lookout any perceived threat, making him incredibly suspicious, bordering on paranoid. This makes social interaction all the more difficult, and makes it hard for Daxton to trust people, or act in a way that might make people like or trust him. For the most part, he totally avoids any situations which overload or overwhelm him.
Daxton has a penchant for getting into troublesome situations, due in part to his lack of knowledge of social norms and boundaries, lack of filter, and occasionally his temper. Though he is apathetic about most things, he has a constant underlying anger and an explosive temper, particularly when he is overwhelmed or feels threatened in some way; the triggers for his temper are very few but very effective. This can result in his lashing out in one way or another, often making him violent or confrontational, and means that he does not hold back when retaliating during an altercation - he simply does not know when to stop. Occasionally he will seek out conflict with someone, provoking them into a fight, purely because he wants to, and will not feel satisfied or calm until he has succeeded in doing so. Daxton sees little issue with doing whatever he wants; he finds most rules pointless and treats them more as guidelines, has a complete lack of conscience, views people according to their usefulness, and uses them accordingly, but he is adamant that he does not need help from anyone. He is incredibly independent, remarkably resourceful, and prefers to operate alone in most - if not all - things. Daxton has a very Ravenclaw-ish tendency to take advantage of loopholes in the rules; if he does not want to follow the rules at all, he will weigh up pros and cons before any and every course of action, and usually attempt to find a way around the matter - that is, if he does not choose to defy the rules entirely.
A benefit of being silent and mostly left alone is that Daxton has a lot of time to think. He watches and notices everything, and is incredibly calculating. If someone or something takes his interest, Daxton will devote a lot of thought and attention to the subject in question. He is always thinking, always considering certain lines of thought, always brainstorming ideas, but never lets anyone in on exactly what goes on inside his head. He is incredibly curious and determined to learn more every day, though usually not related the topics he is 'supposed' to be focusing on at school. Daxton also appears deceptively emotionless; despite often feeling certain emotions very strongly, he has an almost totally flat affect - which is only partly intentional - and he will often be seen wearing a totally impassive, unreadable expression.
On rare occasion, Daxton has been known to form strong, but strange and atypical attachments to particular people (which he is likely to adamantly deny if confronted about). These mostly manifest - due to his otherwise general aloofness and closed-off personality - in his 'claiming' those people. He refuses to share, and therefore becomes incredibly jealous and angry whenever 'his' people (he does not use the word 'friend') are more focused on others. Additionally, though Daxton does not care about being noticed by most people, he has been known to display negative attention-seeking behaviour around a select few authority figures. In day-to-day life, he becomes uncomfortable, upset, or angry - though completely outwardly despondent - if any attention he receives is of a positive nature.
HISTORY
Daxton was born to a single mother, Yasmin Wode, the result of a brief relationship with a young man named Jake Upstead (a wizard, though Yasmin was not aware of this). At the time of his birth, Daxton was given the name Daniel Wode. His mother died suddenly only three months later, and with the identity of his father unknown to anyone and Yasmin’s family unable to take in a baby, Daxton was taken into foster care. After a rough start in life, including placement after disastrous placement with various foster families, Daxton was placed with Marley Prince shortly after he turned seven. He claimed to remember nothing of his life before his initial placement with Marley, and to this day remains steadfastly resolute on the matter. She soon adopted him, at which pointed his name was legally changed to Daxton Xavier Prince.
Shortly thereafter, Marley and Daxton moved from London to Cornwall, to be closer to Marley’s parents and away from expensive city life. For various reasons and as a result of sheer bad luck, the family soon fell on hard times financially, just barely making ends meet, which has been the case ever since. During this time, Daxton, who went completely non-verbal at the age of four, began occasionally speaking in Marley’s presence, once he started to feel comfortable with her. From then on, the two lived in a small bungalow in Cornwall, England, without the involvement of any outside help.
Throughout his life, Daxton has shown what are unmistakeable signs of magic, particularly when angry or upset or otherwise distressed (such as during nightmares or meltdowns). Such displays (including, but not limited to, smashing nearby windows, small explosions, doors and windows slamming, things flying across the room) were often put down as 'one of those funny things' by inevitably ignorant muggle teachers, though sometimes Daxton got in trouble. While his mother was quite aware that something was definitely going on, she was reluctant to mention anything to anyone, and his abilities ended up being another 'Daxton thing'. At the age of ten, Daxton started to form a small degree of control over this magic while still not knowing the reason behind it, though this control was mostly limited to making things move and fly around the room, and helping him to steal things that took his fancy. Displays of accidental magic were still an occasional (and large-scale) occurrence.
On his eleventh birthday, Daxton and his mother received a visit from Hogwarts professor, Airey Flamsteed, who informed them both that Daxton was, in fact, a wizard. Though initially distrustful and unsure of this strange man in his red and gold suit, it didn't take much to for Daxton (or his mother) to believe he was magic. Daxton's mother accepted a Hogwarts hardship fund, and in the months leading up to his first term at Hogwarts, they visited Diagon Alley to buy the required school supplies, meeting several other wizarding children in the process.
Since starting at Hogwarts, Daxton has found himself in trouble with the muggle police multiple times, and in still more trouble at school, and has run away from home multiple times. When his mother started to become ill during Daxton's third year, Daxton began spiralling, getting into more troublesome situations than ever. In the summer after his third year, Daxton's mother - who had already been struggling to support herself and her ageing mother, and Daxton when he was home - fell ill and was taken into hospital. There she stayed, where doctors attempted to treat a mystery chronic illness, while Daxton absconded once again, living on the streets very briefly before being taken in and given a place to stay by Charlotte Kettleburn's family. Meanwhile, Daxton's grandmother (with whom Daxton shares a mutual dislike) moved in to help Daxton's mother when she came out of hospital, at which point Daxton refused to ever come home, and to stay on the streets. Daxton was offered an ultimatum by his mother; to come home or to agree to stay with the Kettleburns, or she would call social services to ensure that he was safe. Daxton bitterly agreed to stay with the Kettleburns, though has resented his mother for her ultimatum ever since, and still frequently absconds.
It has become clear to Daxton's mother, a muggle, that she is completely unable to control her clearly troubled son, and as such has urgently sought help from the only wizarding family she knows in that regard. Daxton, meanwhile, has managed to find a great deal more trouble on his own.
During his fourth year, Daxton became less able to cope, growing increasingly unstable as time went on, and acting more and more volatile. In January 2091, after a series of unnerving and progressively worsening wrongdoings, it became clear he needed to be removed from school, for his own health and safety, and the safety of others. Daxton instead stayed with Keiran Toussaint, Charlotte Kettleburn's uncle, kept safely out of the way and under control, all the while seeing healers and private tutors. During this time he was summoned to the school see Professor Hirsch, his Head of House, who in turn brought him to Headmaster Sahnoun. In this meeting, after being questioned about his actions and having shown no remorse for them, Daxton was permanently expelled from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, aged 15.

Personality
David derives most of his best personality traits from his father and his worst habits from his mother. Usually a quiet, studious boy who prefers most books over people, David enjoys studying creatures (goblins and spiders in particular), potions (he loves the chemical reactions), and plants (the more useful, the better, in his opinion). He loves to read outside and play in nature, but is not very athletic nor inclined toward physical activity. He has tried flying on two separate occasions, but was not impressed by brooms on either occasion. He believes apparition is the superior form of travel, followed by dragons, followed by floo powder.
History
David Octavius Truebridge was born to two Wizarding University professors in Cairo, Egypt at the campus hospital where his uncle, Robert Bunbury, works. He spent the first two years of his life in Cairo, mostly around the university, where he would attend his father's lectures in the company of his mother. He developed a love of travel with his parents, both of whom believe in discovery and field work as a means of learning. Shortly after his second birthday, David's mother received a job as the Headmistress of Hogwarts, and the Truebridges moved into her family manor in the English countryside. Davie claims to remember the move but despite the boy's intelligence, most do not believe him.
Since 2078 when his mother became Hogwarts' Headmistress, David has split his time between a cottage in Hogsmeade and his mother's family home in the country, with most of their time being spent in the latter. Davie does prefer the large Bunbury manor, where he often shadows his grandfather's potion-making trade in the basement, but would enjoy visiting his mum at work when school was not in session. He even tried on the Sorting Hat a few times before his own Sorting in 2087.

⓸ Get to Know Me, Fam: Damien is not your typical Lion, though he often acts on impulse, and is a firm believer in justice. ⤶ He can also be very cautious and even, in his own words, rather cowardly unless it is for the benefit of those around him, in which case he will gladly go through hell and high water, and make a stand. Kind, affectionate and empathetic, Damien is always rather to listen to the problems of others and to offer his sympathy and whatever else the person might need, even if it’s simply a distraction. Flirtatious, sometimes even without meaning to be, the boy has had a hard time keeping to relationships and has lately come to the decision that they’re simply not for him.
Though not very clever, Damien is hardworking. ⤶ When sat down and taught by an able teacher he can be a very good student with a curious mind that is willing to learn. Damien has a tendency towards melancholy and when he’s feeling especially emotional and weary he often withdraws into himself, foregoing the company of his friends and even his family to try to calm his mind and feelings.
Open, honest and playful, Damien loves to goof around. ⤶ He sometimes has a hard time taking things or very serious situations seriously until the very last moment (a trait which has gotten him into more trouble than he can say).

⓺ I Gotta Lotta History: Born in Chicago to Aidan and Clarissa, Damien was never denied anything. ⤶ His parents, being kind, generous and rather odd people were often all too happy to give into Damien’s weirder requests, but they were always careful to teach their son the value of his things and to discourage any selfish desires. As Clarissa is Muggle-born, it was decided by the parents that Damien, before his magical education, be sent to a muggle school to be taught the basics. While there, the scrawny, outspoken and weird child was often ridiculed and bullied, but bore it as well as he could, never mentioning it to his parents or his bodyguard Barton (though he does suspect that the sooner had something to do with the children leaving him be).
At eleven, Damien was accepted into Salem.⤶ He was quite happy for some time, though his parents worried for his education as he seemed to spend more time sneaking out with friends during his time there than learning. Aidan, an amateur Abraxan Racer and professional (and well known) breeder of the winged horses had grown tired of his back and forth trips to London to check on the horses and by the time Damien was nearing his 15th birthday, the decision to move to England was made.
Fifth Year ⤶
SPOILER!!: Fifth Year At Hogwarts
Placed into Gryffindor House, Damien spent his first night in the castle with his best friend Rorie Hazelwood. Happy though he was to be in the school, it was a short lived feeling as he could easily see just how much Roria hated it. It was a culture shock for Damien, Hogwarts was bigger, crazier and more fascinating than his previous school, though there was one thing he immediately hated: the robes. That year, Damien did everything he could to try to get out of wearing them and be allowed to wear his beautiful suits, but the young man sadly lost that battle. During the year he met several people, most of whom he bonded with quickly including; Zander Adair, Bianca Caruso, Cutty Mordaunt, Evie Shacklebolt, Aegis Dane and Lux Charrington.
Having broken up properly with his sort of girlfriend Cristina, Damien was now guiltless and single at Hogwarts which meant quite a few forays into snogging, hand holding, cuddling and general wooing. It was during this time that his flirtation with Phoenix Toros took a turn into a warmer emotion and the two young men grew very close, meanwhile, Damien had begun to realize that his feelings for Rorie Hazelwood were more than just best friends and throughout the term the star crossed teens dealt with jealousy, bitter arguments that lead nowhere until sometime after christmas break when the two finally kissed. Still it was not for some time that feelings were admitted and pride was swallowed. when the two finally got together, officially becoming a couple, Damien was told to cut off things with Phoenix, leading to an emotional break between the boys that ended in tears and a passionate kiss.
The next six months were peaceful aside from the stress and nerves of OWLs and the strange happenings of a student death which darkened the school. Near the end of the summer, during an argument over Phoenix and Rorie’s inability to let go of Damien’s friendships with many girls and some boys who perhaps desired more, the kiss was brought up and the relationship was ripped apart.
In the process Damien lost his girlfriend, his best friend and his soul all at once.
Sixth Year ⤶
SPOILER!!: Sixth Year at Hogwarts:
Having been resouled, Damien was glad to be back at Hogwarts, he’d spent the better part of his summer with Nemo Grimm and Whyttr Capello and after seeing their love and trust was eager to win back Rorie. In the meantime, he refocused his studies, finding an interested into the stranger. less defined branches of magic and wanting to learn more about the afterlife, love magic and even death magic. Though he was surrounded by many close friends, Damien still missed Rorie and after many tries, the young woman agreed once again to date him.
The year was full of insanity, and Damien often felt the need to sneak out and get away from the castle and all its hustle and bustle, often times venturing to his own home to hang around with his father or Barton, and just as often going to see old Salem friends and Amelia Bateman, an older girl that had quickly become one of his best friends. Aware of the odd tension between them at times, Damien did his best not to overstay his welcome or to give into certain urges. He was very much determined to keep Roria by his side.
Over the christmas holiday, Damien invited Rorie to his home and for some time things were well until New Years eve night, when Rorie, consumed by paranoia and self conscious feelings she could no longer take, broke off the relationship and left before Damien could even begin to ask her to try again.
It was also during this time that Damien’s mother was discovered to have contracted a strange sort of autoimmune disease that was attacking her body, making her sickly and weak, a discovery that killed the poor boy, leaving him feeling fragile and broken. It was thanks to good friends like Nemo, Zander, Cutty, Evie and Amelia that he managed to get through it all.
During this time, Damien engaged in sillier behavior, trying to pretend to himself that he was okay. and happy, but truly seeking solace from the people around him, but never outright asking for it. He entered into a quasi relationship of sorts with Amelia Bateman, one that was mutually beneficial, but nonbinding.
Near the end of term, during an a bad hair moment that Evie had dragged him to the bathroom for, Damien ended up almost accidentally opening up the chamber of secrets, thinking the place was surely now harmless and empty, Damien and Evangeline wandered in, but it took a quick turn for the worst as they soon began to hear things just hinting at something larger and darker living in the chamber than mice.
Hiding away, the two watched in fear as the Lux Charrington and Cinnamon Bayless were taken by the hissing, speaking creatures, only narrowly escaping themselves, the two rushed off to find help in the form of Professor Maddox Quigley. Unfortunately, the school had already become overrun with Acromantula and the warning cry was too late to stop many students from being taken.
Damien, though very injured and very sick thanks to the bite her had received on his leg, joined in with the others in the task of fending off the acromantula, helping cast the daydream charm to confuse and frighten the creatures.
Near the end of term, during a long and deep talk between Evie and himself the two shared a deep kiss, but as both were very much in love with other people it was decided that for the best, they would let the emotions lie.
It was just after this moment, when Damien decided to help Rorie no matter how fearful he was of her new Stepford self, but the more he was around her, the more it tore him up, until finally, on the last day of term the young woman shocked the boy by revealing it had all been a lie and that she was indeed, her normal self. Furious, hurt and broken up, Damien left Rorie’s side that day, and though still very much in love with her, has not spoken to her since.

Before Hogwarts:
Born on the 30th of November 2075, Phillip Romalotti is the illegitimate child of Caroline Delgado and Jasper Somerhalder. As far as the boy knows, his birth parents simply didn’t get along and that was the reason as to why they never got married and went their separate ways, only to be connected by the boy himself. Phillip’s always overlooked Jasper’s flaws and has seeked his approval from the very start. No hard feelings there, not that the boy knows some of the intricate details behind his birth parents’ ‘relationship’.
Caroline went on to marry Jonathan Delgado and, together, the two had Katerina, Phillip’s half-sister. The ‘half’ part of their siblingship doesn’t matter to the boy, who secretly loves Kat as a sister deep down, even if she calls him Philly too many times. While the boy had been a mere two year old, he was snatched from his family by his grandmother, who wanted to get her own revenge on Caroline for being cut out from her life. Despite being returned to his mum six months later, Phillip still dislikes his grandmother and refuses to spend too long in her company.
✘Personality:
Phillip’s grown up to be a free-spirited and carefree young boy who likes a number of things that gets his heart pumping HARD. Spontaneous and unpredictable are often words used to describe the boy’s nature, especially given the fact that he hates the idea of sticking to one thing too long. Change, in his opinion, is good and always necessary. Who doesn’t like a bit of change?
However, Phillip’s also been known to be fairly stubborn at times, always insisting that things go his way or the highway. Due to his spontaneous nature, the boy is known to be fairly forgetful at times and can get very distracted too quickly. In this way, talking to him can be a challenge. He’s likely to go through a whole whirlwind of topics in an hour, a lot more than necessary.
Something that Phillip strongly dislikes, aside from his nickname, is the idea of rules. Being in schools is difficult for the boy because rules stop him from getting his way and, instead, act as boring boundaries. Paul is mellow, chill, and relaxed almost all the time. He is easy-going and laidback about mostly everything, even caring for his plants is done in a relaxed way. He is all about connecting with nature and spiritually connected with all people; he is kind and cares for others greatly. He can handle extreme amounts of alone time and be fine, but he can also socialize just as well. He goes with the flow. An unkind word almost never comes from Paul’s mouth...unless you’ve /really/ made him mad...and you’ll know if he’s mad. He cares for those around him immensely, and family means a lot to Paul. He cherishes friendships and will always be the one his friends have gone to when they need someone to listen to them. While he is nurturing, he is so focused on his career and his passions that children have never been in the stars for him or Milton.

Raised in a lazy, small town, Paul has always been mellow. Things came easily for him from the beginning; his signs of magic were early, and even once he went to muggle school, he excelled in his classes just fine. He acclimated with muggles well, too. Once he started at Hogwarts, he found it difficult at first to make friends. His father was a farmer, and his mother, too. Connecting with other kids his age was difficult due to his lack of common grounds with them; many of them struggled with the magic, and Paul either picked up on the type of magic he was learning right away or….neglected the ones he wasn’t good at.
If Paul has a flaw, it’s the apathy towards things he does not care about/not good at, which has fostered since he was a child. He was attracted the quiet of the greenhouses early on, and he found that his green thumb was probably good due to his parents’ skillset at home. He was always good at caring for animals, too, but plants...that was always Paul’s passion.
In sixth year, Paul got his first boyfriend. Things didn’t last because the boy graduated at the end of that term, and Paul, being a heartbroken little softy, was very sad about this. It took a toll on him that summer, and he spent most of it locked in his room, cross breeding plants and perfecting his banjo playing. Paul had started playing the instrument very young, before he was Hogwarts age, and he began a band. He didn’t realize how little use Wrock bands have for a banjo player, but alas, eventually the band he started gave him the boot. His seventh year was long, and he was the saddest he’d ever been….
Until he decided he’d go to school to be a herbologist.
He graduated from Hogwarts, leaving behind his sister, who was a second year Hufflepuff at the time, and right before starting at University, he changed gears. He decided to take a year or two to travel. His parents were not very wealthy, but his paternal grandparents had invested well and had loads of gold to lend their very brilliant and smart grandson, who took the money without apologies to pursue his dream of exploration. Paul went all over; China, Japan, Russia, South America, Africa, the US, Spain, Norway, and more.
Paul was ready to go home, buckle down, and get back to school when he met Milton Willingston, a very forthcoming business student from New York whose dream it was to own a vineyard in the hills of Italy. They met in Venice, and the rest of their love story is, as the title of this section would suggest, history.
The young passionate banjo-playing herbologist went to school for Herbology and kept in touch with his boyfriend, Milton. They lived far apart from each other, since Paul went to University in Dublin and Milton went to school in Italy, but they were able to see each other often enough. He finished school with the degree he set out for, and immediately moved in with Milton, who was due to graduate his own business programs in due time.
Their story was a happy one until Milton’s very uppidity parents found out about the young couple living together….they were twenty-two. They threatened to take away the inheritance from Milton, which he was decidedly depending on to start his vineyard, and so….he broke Paul’s heart. Paul was told to leave his home, bags packed, and find somewhere else to live. Paul was devastated and moved in with his sister, Taylor. Milton did not contact Paul for a few months….and Paul tried his best to move on.
A very dramatic reunion between the two settled their differences for good. Milton and his parents and Paul all sat down and discussed things….Paul and Milton decided to never join in an official marriage because Milton’s parents refused to let him have any inheritance money unless they stayed…...not married. Paul and Milton were happy to oblige, since neither were interested in marriage before, and they just wanted to be together and be happy.
Many years later, Milton got his vineyard. Tuscany, Italy, is where they now reside after many years of building up their little home. Their estate is huge and vast, and contains not only Milton’s vineyard but also Paul’s three greenhouses, an enormous garden, and they both have their own horses. They do not want children, but they do enjoy when Taylor brings her kids over to spend weekends and vacations at the estate.
Early in 2078, Paul’s banjo playing was finally appreciated. After playing for pleasure at solo venues for years, a band finally began and asked Paul to join. They called themselves “Bleugrasse,” and, haha, so funny, they are a bluegrass band. Paul does not sing, he merely plays the banjo for the group. The lead singer is Clifford “Calamity” Tammany, and Mark Sparks is the washboard player, but he also plays the jugs. Pearl Sparks, Mark’s mother, is the wildest eighty-year-old to ever grace the stage. She plays keyboard, and sometimes harmonizes quite well with Mr. Calamity. Paul greatly enjoys being in this band to this day, and still performs in venues around the world...wherever bluegrass music is wanted and appreciated.
Prior to being hired as a professor at Hogwarts’ School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Paul simply enjoyed the quiet, peaceful life of taking care of his greenhouses and gardens. Occasionally, he will help Milton with the vineyard business, but nothing major. Paul enjoys relaxation. He looks forward to his first year of teaching at Hogwarts. He is a well known botanist and enjoys a relationship and connection with many of the top botanists in the UK.
