Personality- Aegis is a bit of a Hot Head, and very short tempered. He’s also very Naïve and will cause a lot of awkwardness around him. Aegis is a bit of a Ladies Man, picking up this trait from his Uncle, much to his Grandmother’s disdain. Bio- Aegis was born to Jerome’ and Xaria Dane on September 1st 2069 in a small town just outside of Paris, France. Jerome’ was a Muggle Artist just barely making ends meet, and Xaria was a Rebellious Witch who had defied her parents by Eloping with Jerome’.
Only 2 years after Aegis’ Birth his Mother went missing under mysterious circumstances. This left Aegis with only his poor Father, who for the next few years struggled caring for him.
When Aegis turned 7 he showed his 1st sign of Magic. Realizing that he could not care for any child, Magical or Not his Father came to Aegis’ Uncle, Harvey Gunter. Who he had learned previously by his Wife had taken another young boy into his Home. Hoping that Harvey would care for Aegis, when he could not.
For the next few years Aegis was home schooled by his Grandmother, who lived with his Uncle, and Older Adopted Brother. When he became of Age finally to begin an education at a Magical School, his Uncle started him at Salem, rather than Hogwarts, due to the Previous year’s Dementor Problem.
While Attending Salem Institute, Aegis was introduced to the American Game of Quodpot. He had already been accustomed to Quidditch during his time in Europe, but he slowly began to grow fond of the American Game. Improving his skills and focusing all his efforts at becoming even greater at Quodpot.
By his 4th Year in Salem Aegis’ grades began to slip, but he cared little for School now, He was accepted into a Junior Quodpot League. Where he would play until he was old enough to try out for the Pro Quodpot League.
Unfortunately he had flunked out of Salem, and his Grandmother was NOT pleased. She dragged him back to England, and would forbid Aegis from anything Quodpot until he finished his Education properly.

My story begins in 2071 when my parents got married at age 21. I came along two years later, and we were a family of three. My parents were born and raised in Great Britain and even went to Hogwarts themselves. After they graduated university, though, they took positions at the Norwegian Ministry of Magic, and we've been living in Oslo ever since. Last Christmas, I asked for new clothes and shoes, but what I got instead was new clothes and shoes and a little brother named Ryland. We moved back home to Great Britain after that, because my parents wanted Ryland and me to go to Hogwarts like they did.

Before now, my mom's been my teacher. She was a Ravenclaw, and from what she's told me, Ravenclaws know lots of things. I want to be a Ravenclaw like her. Dad was a Gryffindor, and he says Gryffindors always jump head first into danger to try and save the day. That sounds sort of intimidating to me, so I'll stick to knowing lots of things like Mom. So far, I've been doing pretty good. My favorite subjects are Herbology and History of Magic, and I really, really dislike Arithmancy with a passion.

Now that I'm 11 soon-to-be 12, I've been trying to let go of the kid inside of me and learn how to be a pre-teen instead. I like that word--'teen'. It sounds so cool and so grown up! I'm still shy about having a boyfriend one day, though, and my Mom says I can't wear makeup until I'm 14. Some things will just have to wait, I guess. I'm really excited about living at Hogwarts, but I'm kind of scared, too. I'll miss my mom and dad and even Ryland, too, but I know this is the grown up thing to do! Well, that's all for now. I'm going to try and write another journal entry next year on this date, right before I start my second year. Maybe I can keep up with this parchment until then.

Dear Journal,

...and so begins my second year. A little late, too, might I add. I missed the first half of the school year, because I was sent back home to be with my father. He developed an illness the doctors thought to be fatal, and Mom homeschooled me until he was better. Thank Merlin he recovered, and he's back working at the Norwegian Ministry of Magic, apparating back and forth each day, since we've relocated back to the United Kingdom.

There's not much to tell just yet, although, looking at my journal entry from last school year, I seemed so little and so young. I'm thirteen now--officially a teenager! I'll come back and add more once I've spent a little more time here at Hogwarts.

Dear Journal,

I can't believe I'm writing my third Hogwarts journal entry! It seems only yesterday I was moving back to the United Kingdom and starting my very first year of magical schooling! I'm about to be fourteen, and it still feels so awesome to be a teenager! This has been the best years of my life so far! I'm having so much fun! Well, ...now I am! Let me tell you what happened to me...to all of us...last school year. SPIDERS. Acromantula, to be exact. The school was attacked and invaded by Acromantula, and honest to Merlin, they were trying to eat us all. I personally got attacked by an entire army of them and had to be sent to the Hospital Wing. Obviously, we defeated them, so I think we'll be okay to stay at school this year.

My goal this year is to make more friends. I pretty much have the education part of Hogwarts down pat, but it gets kind of boring not having a group of friends to hang out with. I honestly don't know think anything is keeping people from being friends with me, because it's not like I'm some annoying person or a big dork or something. I just think I haven't tried enough. That's all going to change soon, though!

SPOILER!!: Year Four

Tia's summer started off slow with meeting people; although figures that her first two classmates she would meet would be Hufflepuffs, Kace and Adi in Diagon Alley at Wiseacres. Mentioned possible study date with Kace to show him about the other ways to become invisible without a cloak
Although the real spark in the summer was meeting Zander and another girl (Ariel - whom she didn't find out her name) in Madam Malkins. She realizes something is special about Zander but it's so early to really tell if there's anything. She knows he is a year older and the other girl is in her year, but does not discover her name as of yet.
Her older brother Pao takes her to King's Cross and says she'll probably be a Ravenclaw. And that means everything to her because more than anything, Tia hopes to be as brilliant as her Aunt Alex.

The school year started out ordinary although Tia found herself mostly enveloped by her schoolwork. Though whenever she could, she found herself studying outside the Gryffindor Common Room in hopes to gather the courage to speak with Zander. One afternoon though, she found herself using him to help her finish her Divination homework and one thing led to another and they kissed. Well she asked him to. And it felt nice, but she still feels confused and awkward around him though she knows she likes him.

SPOILER!!: Year Five

So most of Tia's fifth year was spent in her common room and the library to prep for her OWL exams that she was extremely nervous about. She completely missed out on the acromantula attack on Hogwarts due to being engrossed in her studies and in working on developing friendships more. Not that she was unfriendly - she definitely conversed with the girls in her dormitory but other than the typical dorm talk or classmate talk, she mostly kept to herself.

So really it should have been no surprise when at the end of the year she discovered Zander was seeing someone else - someone she still considers a dear friend. So even though she was saddened over it at first, she can't help but feel happy too for her two friends.

SPOILER!!: Year Six

After receiving her OWL results with only achieving ten OWLs, Tia realized that no matter how hard one poured their energies into their studies, it could only go so far. And though she wasn't about to quit her studies or trying, she was slowly realizing that there were other things just as important. Such as her relationships with people. She wasn't about to follow Zander around like a lost puppy though; he had a girlfriend whom she was fond of as a friend and Tia would not jeopardize her friendship. What she did do however, was invest herself differently this year.

She of course still focused on her homework, but she also made sure to meet a variety of different acquaintances from various houses. She invested her time in various coursework, exploring her options and just trying her best to learn about what she wanted to focus on outside of Hogwarts. She still had ambitions to become an Animagus, but one couldn't make a living being an Animagi. All in all, she found herself satisfied with how the year had gone, with participation in the Dueling Club and ranking fourth for the Curse Level. As well as being one of the top Herbology students.

TiaMarie tends to steer towards the quiet side, taking after her Aunt Alexandria the most in analyzing everything. She's a bit of a bookworm, only in that she has a thirst for knowledge and just wanting to KNOW EVERYTHING. She's not afraid to speak her mind and can be very defiant when she doesn't get what she wants. Sports? Forget it unless you count SHOPPING and FASHION as a sport. She's very confident, but always thinks before she acts. She can come off as somewhat sassy, but it might be attributed to her being the spoiled little sister. Personality
Maddox is not an overly complicated man, with most finding it easy to read into the type of person he is within the first encounter or so. Typically, he is a compulsive liar. There are instances in which a lie is not only unnecessary but uncalled for however this has never deterred him in the past. It is as if he cannot help himself or rather, he does not want to help himself.

Coupled with this, is his tendency to fall into the routine of indiscipline and negligence if he doesn’t carefully monitor himself. He knows there is work to be done and how important it is to get it done but this is not always enough of a motivating factor for him. Similarly, he may be prone to overlooking all but the most severe of situations as he might fail to see it as too much of an issue. This comes also as a result of laziness and a reluctance to exert energy where he does not deem necessary.

In all of this, he manages to maintain a healthy sense of humour…usually at the expense of others. Maddox isn’t the type to launch an attack but he’s more than keen on retaliation should a situation ever call for that. He’s the type to sit back and watch a prank unfold, content with not having need to lift a finger himself. In general, most things don’t bother him. He can be described as somewhat laid back, unless there is need for him to be otherwise and even then, there would need to be a strong need.


Background
Born the older of the twins and the only boy to parents, Annalise and Rubeus, Maddox always felt like it was his duty to protect his sisters. From as early as three, he could be heard making bold statements about slaying any monsters that got too close to them and this grew with him long after he stopped believing there were monsters at every turn. His upbringing was the typical sort; parents present and employeed, healthy doses of attention given, the works. Maddox, himself, was a happy boy that got into tolerable amounts of trouble for a boy of his age. By all indications, he had a normal childhood.

Hogwarts hadn’t been all that different. Being sorted in Gryffindor separated him from his twin sister but this only proved to help him branch out further. He tried out for everything he could and frequently made attempts to hang out with the older boys that usually seemed to be in trouble. Despite not having participated in much of the mischief, he was drawn to it. While there, Charms had always been his best and favourite subject, hands down. On the other side of the scale was Transfiguration, a subject his Professor had advised him to drop because of his evident lack of aptitude for the subject.

Having never been one to heed warnings, Maddox continued the study, solely in the pursuit of becoming an animagus—something else for which he had been warned against and with good reason given his indiscipline and lack of diligence toward the art. This proved to be a turning point in his young life as shortly after graduating he made attempts at animagus training once again. The last took a toll on him. Something had gone wrong with the transformation, nearly causing him to remain permanently fixed in the body of an animal (a cat), however he managed to pull through, retaining little traits of the animal even when in human form such as larger than average canines, a lithe and graceful walk and several other feline inclinations such as an aversion to loud noises, a preference for milk and the lazier, more laid back personality he seemed to slip into.

To this day he’s still working to fix this but has had little success.

After the small mishap with animagus training, he gave up on transfiguration, being sure to stay away from that form of magic no matter where he sought employment. It is unclear what form of employment caught his attention as the story frequently changes depending on who’s asking. The most agreed upon story is his position as a metal charmer through which he met and later married his wife—however he also tells of meeting his wife in Paris and another tale of meeting his wife while on an excursion through the Amazon. Whatever the story is, he got married and within 6 years of his marriage, got his first children, twins Demetria and Christopher. Three years later they had their daughter Sophie and a year after that, twin boys Daniel and Connor.

Shortly after that, he applied for and was successful in acquiring the vacant position of Charms Professor at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

History:

Meredith grew up in Salem with her family up until the time her parents divorced when she was ten years old. Though the two remained close even after their divorce, Meredith’s father decided to return to London where he was raised. It was decided that Ellis and Meredith would go with him so that they could attend Hogwarts, the school both parents deemed best for their children. As Evie was just a toddler at the time, she remained with Libby in Salem and the two older children returned each summer break to be with their mother. Though the split and move were hard on Meredith, her spirits remained high.

At Hogwarts Meredith excelled in the areas of Charms and History of Magic, though her true passion remained Muggle Studies. Having a muggle mother gave her a different perspective and she immersed herself in the muggle world as much as possible, appreciating her magic more because of her experiences. Summers were spent doing some of the more daring muggle activities with her older brother when they were both old enough. Sky diving and bungee jumping were among her favorite activities.

Uni proved to be a lot of work for the brunette and though Meri had confidence for days, she struggled her way through the rigorous program she was in. Her personality helped, earning her many friends in the same major who helped support her and offered her advice that aided in getting her through the program. She even earned high marks, something she’s been known to brag about on occasion.

Meredith married her university sweetheart, Callum, a year and a half after they graduated from school. The two remained in Salem and started their family there, and though she had her mother and sister close by, Meredith missed her father and brother who remained in London. This is why returning there when a job opened at Hogwarts was a no brainer. As Callum’s job allowed for him to relocate without much fuss, the Moxley family packed up and found a spot in London and they love their current digs.

Personality:

Meredith can be a bit of a handful. She loves to have fun and has always been outgoing and completely confident in who she is. She’s sometimes loud and her tendency to be overly blunt with people has rubbed some the wrong way though others find it hilarious, honestly. She thinks she’s funny, much funnier than she actually is. Who says laughing at your own jokes is a bad thing, yeah? She’ll never back down from a dare as long as she won’t hurt her family or get fired for completing it. She encourages out of the box thinkers. She hates whiners. Personality

Evie can be a very quiet person to someone she is not familiar with. She sometimes tends to be shy, but if she likes you she can open up. She tends to be trusting only with people she is close to and trusts, and is a very loyal friend in return. Ruining that trust will not end well. She is a very physical being and shows a lot of physical attention to those she cares about. Academic work comes easy to her. Wandwork is her favorite and is her biggest strength. She aspires to be an Auror one day to help protect the wizarding world.


Background

Evie grew up with her mom and didn’t meet her father until she was ten years old. Always wanting a father figure, it was very easy to love and trust him. Her father took them both back after divorcing his first wife (who was absolutely nutters) and Evie and her mother now live a much more comfortable life than before.

When she met her father was when she also met her half-brother, Milton. At first, they were very stand-offish of each other and didn’t get along. In fact, she quite despised him and didn’t want anything to do with him. However, over the years, they have grown much more fond of each other and Evie looks up to Milton. She enjoys pestering him and hanging out with him, his wife and baby, and their friends in California.

Evie was homeschooled, much like her older brother, but she never liked it. She always felt like she was missing out on the social aspect of becoming a teenager. It took nearly a year to convince her father to let her go to Hogwarts. Evie can prove to be quite convincing and so she did convince her dad that she should finish her schooling at Hogwarts to prepare for her future.

In 2085, Evie started her first year at Hogwarts as a fifth year. She became instant friends with several of her housemates, including Sophie Brown, Eden McGee and Paris Sykes (who she was quite smitten with for some time). Before the school year actually began, she ran into and quickly became good friends with Angelo Toussaint, a Durmstrang student (who she was even more smitten with). Throughout the school year, she and Angelo kept in touch via owl.

Evangeline started her sixth year at Hogwarts in 2086 and made a new friend by the name of Benzi Rider. They became close, but due to some personal issues, Benzi pulled back from their relationship for several months. Evie continued the school year as normal, until the end of the year when she and her friend Damien Anderson-Belfort were attacked by Acromantulas in the Chamber of Secrets. They narrowly escaped just in time to warn others and find out soon after that the school was under attack. Evie stayed in the Great Hall and helped defend the caste as best she could with her injury.

In the summer of 2087, Evie and Benzi became close again and officially began dating. She spent her summer with him, her friends, and babysitting her little baby niece, Carys. Evie began her seventh and final year at Hogwarts in the fall of 2087 as the school's (self-proclaimed) HEAD BABE. It was right after the start of the school year that Evie turned quite cold towards her best friend Sophie Brown, jealous of her magic skill and accomplishments and overall seemingly perfectness of her life. Despite this jealousy and loss of friendship, Evie was happy, thanks to her boyfriend, Benzi. Their relationship lasted until mid-March 2088, when Benzi confessed to Evie that he loved another girl by the name of Hayley Diggory and that he had kissed her. Due to the rather abrupt end of their relationship (very soon after the event of sharing their "I love you"s), Evie was quite heartbroken for a good while. It hurt to see the boy she loved... love someone else.

Luckily, before this heartbreak, Evie and Sophie amended their friendship. With the help of her and Evie's best friend Damien, her heart slowly began to heal. Her ability to trust, however, did not. Even so, Evie finished her seventh year determined and successful as ever. She and also recently-heart-broken Cole Upstead spent quite a bit of time together and grew very close. His company helped her, but most importantly, she discovered a very close friend in him. Most importantly, Evie spent her final year at Hogwarts participating in the Dueling Club to prepare for her future as a hopeful Auror-to-be.

PERSONALITY

Pierson is a very relaxed and easygoing person. He can seem slightly disorganized, but he knows where everything is. He generally gets along with most people he meets, but can often be judgemental. To some, Pierson may not seem like the typical, stereotypical Slytherin, but his house will always be his home and where he is most comfortable. HISTORY

Pierson was born and raised until he was eight years old in Anglet, France. A few months after Pierson’s eighth birthday, his parents announced that they would be getting divorced. While his mother stayed in France, her homeland, Pierson’s father took him back to England, his homeland. Piers was able to visit his mother in France often.

Once the time came, Piers went to Hogwarts and was sorted into Slytherin. While at Hogwarts, he made good friends, joined the gobstones club and played as a beater on the Slytherin Quidditch team. He got in trouble for the occasional prank played on Hufflepuffs, of course. Many of his friends suggested Piers should be a Ravenclaw because of his good grades, but he always felt that he didn’t fit in anywhere else but Slytherin. After Hogwarts, Piers attended Wizarding University in Edinburgh, Scotland and studied Advanced Transfiguration for two years. He then changed his focus to Advanced Charms and traveled abroad to the Wizarding University in Athens, Greece to finish his studies. He also spent a couple years learning about secondary wizarding education.

Piers fell in love with Athens. He loved the culture, the people, the atmosphere and the school. While he studied, he also fell in love with a young woman by the name of Alexandria. They dated for two years before he asked her to marry him in 2072.

In 2073 Pierson was hired at the Athens Wizarding University to teach a night Kwikspell course. It was such a success that he taught three Kwikspell courses the following year, as well as Advanced Charms. Pierson continued to teach alongside his wife, Alexandria, who taught Advanced Transfiguration on the floor above for six years.

For those six years, Pierson and Alexandria, despite their efforts, were unable to have children. After some treatment and counseling, Alex finally got pregnant near the end of 2080. After a couple months of health and success, it started to seem like a healthy baby was really possible. They named her Amanda. On January 2, 2081, Piers and Alex received the news that they had lost the baby. The news tore them to pieces and tore them apart, emotionally and physically. Months later, their marriage was in shambles and Alexandria called for a divorce. Although he tried to keep it together, Pierson was a wreck by the end of the school year.

The summer following the divorce, Pierson quit his teaching job in Athens and moved to Brighton, England for a change of scenery. The familiar cold air cleared his head enough for him to apply to become the Charms professor at Hogwarts. Piers got the job and began teaching that Fall.

His second year teaching Charms, Piers was joined by his old friend from his school days, Javier Thompson (better known as Javy), the new Care of Magical Creatures Professor. Piers and Javy’s friendship took off like it never had stopped and he was able to smile again, thanks to his best friend.

During his last two terms teaching at Hogwarts, Piers and Javy started a more serious relationship and eventually tied the knot in January 2085. They have an adopted son, Tobias Tempus and soon after, another was on the way, thanks to a surrogate mother, who was due to be born in early 2086. After four years of teaching at Hogwarts, Piers left the castle for the last time and returned home to prepare for their baby.

Curtis Angelo Fuller-Thompson was born on the evening of January 29, 2086 and is healthy, happy, and in his new home. During the school year of 2086 and 2087, Piers watched and took care of their baby while Javy continued his work as the CoMC professor at Hogwarts. In the summer of 2087, Javy left Hogwarts and the Fuller-Thompsons packed up and moved to the country where they could have a bigger house and more acreage to raise a family. Personality: Depending on who you are, Milton will either be friendly, or he will ignore you. When Milton doesn't like someone, he will generally ignore them unless they do something that deserves a confrontation. People generally stereotype Quidditch Captains as air-heads and dumb jocks. And although it might be true for Milton, he's not totally stupid. Due to a couple recent concussions and traumatic experiences, Milton has a terrible memory and doesn't retain things in his brain very well.

Background: Childhood: Milton was born a pureblood wizard in his home in Ottery St. Catchpole to Isabelle and Michael Shacklebolt. He lived a happy spoiled life until the age of five, when his parents got divorced. Well... even after that he was still happy and spoiled. Milton’s mother made him believe that his father was a horrible man and that they were much better without him in their lives. His mother gave him anything he asked for.

As he grew up, his mother continued supporting the two of them without any issues with money. She came from a wealthy, pureblood heritage where money was never a problem. She also had a stable and successful career, that which Milton knew nothing about. Isabelle was and still is very secretive about her work, but Milton knows it has something to do with the Potionmaking business.

Isabelle hired a private tutor to home-school Milton. She didn't believe in the public school system and didn't want to waste her money on it. Milton always did well in his home-school classes. As a child, he also learned to play the piano, but he never tells anyone because he feels it is embarrassing.

When Milton was eight, his mom suddenly packed up the house and moved herself and Milton to a mansion in the middle of nowhere, Wales without explaining why. Milton didn’t mind the change, though. He could still visit his old friends. And there was a duck pond not to far from his house and the ocean a mile away.

In the summer of 2077, Milton’s mother remarried to a man by the name of Marcus Gonzales. Much to Milton’s shock and disappointment, the man wasn’t under a love potion. The two things he hated the most about this marriage were 1) he got a step-sister, and 2) his step-father made them both sign up for Hogwarts. Public school was a big no-no in Milton’s opinion. But, of course, Milton had to go.

The next year Milton's father decided to tell him that Milton had a half-sister named Evangeline from an affair he had with a muggle 11 years previous. Milton and Evie did not get along at first but they eventually warmed up to each other.

Hogwarts: (Fifth Year) His first term at Hogwarts was anything but ordinary. To make a long story short, he tried to hate everyone, but it's hard to hate someone who is so stinking adorable. Anya Phillips changed his life. She was the only person who wasn't afraid of calling Milton an idiot. Milton dated a Slytherin redhead named Aurora Quinn. He made the mistake of cheating on her and she hexed him quite a few times. That was embarrassing. Milton had a three-day fling with Jocelyn Abrams. He had many other flings with many other girls. He was a player. He then became friends with Taryn Hayden, who he thought was pretty smokin' hot, but she had a boyfriend.

(Sixth Year) Over the summer, Milton and Taryn became closer and Taryn ended her long-distance relationship with August Goldstien to try out something new. Milton and Taryn dated from the beginning of their sixth year until Valentines Day the next year. Their relationship had simply run its course. There were no hard feelings and their friendship was still strong.

During and after their relationship, Milton continued to grow stronger feelings for Anya Phillips. But things were complicated because he was so much older than her and didn't want people to judge him. Also, he was stupid.

Basically, his love life is confusing and I don't want to type it out right now.

Oh, he also snogged Genevieve Branxton for a couple months and that was fun.

Near the end of his sixth year, Milton got abducted by a man-eating plant and almost died. Luckily, the Charms professor, Sophia Bellaire, was able to blow up the plant before it could devour him. He suffers from mild post-traumatic stress.

POST-HOGWARTS
Milton worked at his dad's bar in Dublin for a couple years. He bummed around there for a while before moving to New York and helped manage a club with a couple friends he knew. He was in a serious relationship for several months before chickening out and leaving the state. He then moved down to Miami to live with his best-friend-former-girlfriend, Taryn Hayden. They modeled together for Evolette McKenna's company. Eventually, they fell in love again because that's what best friends do.

In 2084 Milton and Taryn bought a house in California and moved across the country. Milton still continues to be a bartender and is working towards his degree in Business Management. Milton and Taryn got married in the Summer of 2085. Taryn gave birth to their first child, Carys Evangeline Isidora Shacklebolt on some day in 2086. She's adorable.

Extra In-Depth Analysis -
Delilah's parents met during a tri-wiz tournament held at Hogwarts 16 years ago in 2070, Madeleine was 16 and Jonathon was 17. Neither of them took part in the tri-wiz tournament but both joined together to cheer on the champions, it was during a Ravenclaw group activity making banners in the common room that they first were formally introduced, they had crossed paths before but it wasn't til they were joined in activity that the two got talking. This introduction revealed both of them had a lot in common so they began to frequently spend time together, becoming very close friends. It wasn't until they left Hogwarts that they began to date; in fact some might call it fate. Both students graduated from Hogwarts and lost touch as Jonathon went to work with his father in the Ministry of Magic whilst Madeleine studied to become a potions teacher at a university in Scotland. Just 2 years after qualifying in 2076 Madeleine left Beauxbatons and went to work for the ministry of magic herself, as if by magic or some might say coincidence the two met up again and the circuit was reconnected. A year later the two started dating and they were smitten for quite sometime before getting married aged 23. Another hurried surprise was the birth of their first son just 2 years after their marriage, at 25 Madeleine gave birth to a gorgeous 7 lb 4 baby boy, Dominic Antony. The couple were natural born parents and adjusted as if it were the easiest job in the world. This natural born love caused them to have another child just 11 months later, Oliver Jacob. SPOILER!!: Early Years

Emily Rose Fletcher had it all: a perfect school record, amazing parents, insane good looks and a string of worthy admirers, a perfect job interning in America. She had everything, or at least, to the outside world, that’s how it seemed. In fact, the façade her parents strived so hard to build hid the fact that the sixteen year old was spending her ‘perfect break’ interning in the confines of her great-aunt’s guest bedroom, eating twice as much as usual, and crying over her lack of support. It was on the 31st March in 2074 that she was rushed into Carlisle General Hospitals Maternity ward after her waters breaking, and it was on the same night that she refused to hold her baby, refused to even look upon the product of an unloving, unfaithful relationship. She gave the nurse two names, because she refused to even let them tell her the gender, and so it was Dalton Nicholas that stuck.

Early in the hours of the next morning, Emily returned to her aunt’s house to rest before packing her things, and thus her interning break ended, and she resumed the perfect life she’d always known.

At four hours and thirty nine minutes old, Dalton was not so lucky – placed in the hands of a soft faced social worker, he was transferred to a travel cot and moved to the nearest children’s home with a space. Whitehaven was destined to be his home for the next few months, or at least, that was what people assumed. As his designated social worker, Travis Mack thought for sure that a baby as adorable would be fostered immediately. But adorable wasn’t the way prospective parents felt about him: he was…. ‘unusual’. Cagey and restrictive, he didn’t take well to new people and people felt uncomfortable around him, with no explanation. It took him years to loosen up and get along with the people he saw every day, and each change in the daily running of Whitehaven Children’s Home made him uneasy and irritable.

He did, however, manage to make one friend.

Aled Rogers became an orphan at the age of four, when his parents died in a car accident. Due to a lack of rooms and age difference, he also became Dalton’s first ever roommate and friend. It took a long time, but eventually they came to regard each other as brothers – Aled, charming, irresponsible and amusing, brought Dalton somewhat out of his shell, and taught him that not everything in world was there to be hated. By the age of nine, they were practically inseparable.

Nine was around the time that Dalton’s magic began to show properly. Items of his that other people wanted to use gave electric shocks, and his bedroom door had a habit of slamming in the faces of those he didn’t want to speak to. Other people blamed it on the wind and static energy, but Dalton knew something was up, knew that the feeling that ran through him when these events happened was something confusing and nerve racking and bigger than he ever was.

It was on his eleventh birthday that the announcement was made: his primary school teacher had referred him for a scholarship to an esteemed boarding school. At least, this was the story that everyone but himself and Travis were told.

SPOILER!!: Hogwarts

First Year
Unsurprisingly, Dalton didn't make any friends. None whatsoever. And it was pretty certain that none of the teachers knew his name, either. He sat alone in lessons, and alone in the Great Hall, and alone in the Common Room.

And he hated every minute of it. He was bored and confused, and quite frankly scared of magic and the idea that everything about his life was changing. It didn't help that when he got back to the care home that summer, the bed across the room from him was no longer occupied by his best friend: Aled had gone, had been fostered by a local family, and now Stephen would sleep opposite him

Of course, he and Aled saw each other a lot, still, but it wasn't the same. If it was possible, Dalton became even more withdrawn.

Second Year
Dalton's clothes were still too big. His feeble attempts at altering them with charms were futile, and ended up just making them look distressed.

One friend: Timila Kyle.

Third Year
The year he mastered shortening the arms on his hoodies. The year he developed the biggest crush of the century on his second friend, Kelly. The year he began to get on better with his housemates, particularly Ollie and Colt. The year of his first kiss.

Fourth Year
The time has come to lengthen to arms of his hoodies again. Thankfully he didn't manage to alter his trousers, and with a belt they're passable. Aled moved back into the home, and his developing friendships helped to bring the him out of his sullen shell.

He was nice. He fell in love with Potions.

Fifth Year
Aled moves out of the home, and although legally Dalton is still obliged to live there, he knows that come summer he'll be sleeping on Aled's couch. The news of Stemp House doesn't do much to help, especially with Travis leaving to go and work there. Anais almost convinces him to apply, but too many things have already changed this year.

Decisions were made to work hard in school. Aled's university application helped push.

And along came Charlotte. Dalton's former definition of annoying. Former. Dalton's current definition of beautiful, funny, happy. His first ever holiday abroad. The semi-success of his OWLs.

Rather hard to get to know, Oleander won’t share information so easily. At least not the details that matter most to him. He can be curious, but only if the subject interests him. Also, he’s slightly possessive and protective of those he cares about, right now this is limited to his pet snake, Hemlock. But Cassia Somerlad is free to ask for anything. Still.

Quite the observant fellow, he’d rather just sit and watch than take part in an unresolved situation, unless the outcome affects him somehow. Even then, he’d think before acting. Ultimately, he wishes to be in control of everything that involves him. Himself included, of course. Yet he can be rather flexible so as long as he still gets what he wants.

A trait all the family has inherited is a thirst for knowledge and staying true to one's ideals. Traditions are valued by all the Wisterias, except his aunt. Oleander believes exceptions can be easily applied here and there.

The family is very close, and often keep things to themselves. Practically pureblood, if it weren't for her paternal great grandfather (Non-Wisteria, of course). His parents have jobs at the Ministry of Magic in London, same as his aunt. Ruby isn't the sharpest crayon in the box, but she is very good at manipulating others who are perhaps better equipped mentally to help her out when necessary. She learnt at a young age to play to her strengths: namely her feminine charm, much of which she learned from her mother who has been known to entertain quite the procession of wizards despite already having nine children. Ruby is confident, brazen, manipulative, and spoiled. She can be very selfish and outrageous at times, but her heart is usually in the right place and she does her best to do right by her friends. She's the sort of person who you either love or hate. Most friendships she has are rather fickle or surface only and she's difficult to really get to know deeply, because she holds back. She's scared of being vulnerable to people though there are now people at Hogwarts who she definitely cares about. She's a fun girl but it is rare that others look past her often shallow exterior. She pretends this doesn't bother her. Even her closest brother Gabriel can only take her antics for so long before he tires of her, something that injures her greatly but she would never say so. She appears to brush this off. She isn't exactly a troublemaker but she does find herself in trouble fairly often. Her first day at Hogwarts in fifth year for instance, at the opening feast, had her earn 3 months of detention and getting banned from all Hogsmeade weekends, simply because Bellaire took a dislike to her and judged her negatively due to Ruby wearing a short (but not TOO short) skirt. Likewise at the start of term feast for her sixth year, she copped another Bellaire detention for kissing David Hensley (well what? She thought Bellaire was busy down the other end of the table, its not RUBY's fault the woman is so totes obsessed that she watches all the time, says she).

Ruby's interests include boys, shopping, make up and make overs, cute things, stalking her cousin's band (The Dead Kneazles, not so much Nigel anymore though because he is MEAN and broke her heart), developing fickle and short lived crushes, gossip, dares, coffee, nail polish, dancing of all kinds (which she does competitively), rabbit jumping, and never doing homework if she can help it. She used to do gymnastics but quit when she was thirteen, much preferring dance.

Ruby Clytemnestra Banner was born 7th of August 2069 in Brighton, England to Linda Banner. Her father is unknown. She is the youngest of Linda's nine children, and closest in age to Gabriel Banner who is only ten months older than her. She was home-schooled up until fourth year, though she and her brother Gabriel also took several classes at the local Muggle school during this time. She was sorted into Slytherin house in her fifth year when she transferred to Hogwarts. During her fourth year she attended the Quidditch meet and greet in Diagon Alley and got five of the Tutshill Tornadoes to sign her stomach. For strangers, Dante appears to be the regular type of teen who's rebellious and living in the moment type, which he is. But underneath all that he is much more. His tough exterior and general nonchalance is a way for him to save himself from any unnecessary feelings, heartbreaks or disappointments. He doesn't expect anything from anyone, good or bad and makes sure to be independent. While he's not entirely rude, he's not entirely nice. He likes to pick and choose as to whom he spends his time with. He doesn't make friends easily and is lousy at communicating with people. His only soft spot is controlled by his younger brother who gets the only and unclear acts of love. He doesn't mean to be sarcastic, it just happens. His definitions of right and wrong are not firm, he believes in gray areas and that the mean justifies the way. Like most young men, he's span of attention and level of patience isn't impressive at all. But he is a hardworking person when it comes to proving himself, mostly to his own self rather than other people.

❖Background:

Dante is the oldest son of Lacey and Seth Malloy. He comes from a simply family that consists of the two parents and his younger brother, Jamie. The Malloys lived an ordinary life where the mother was a housewife and the father, who was a muggle, owned a simple convenience store where he used to take Dante everyday with him. Their life remained normal up until the two parents died in a car accident leaving their kids orphans at ages 6 and 4. After the incident, the children started living with their grandparents, Wyatt and Arabella who were their mother's parents. Aside from the shocking loss of their parents, the kids also had to adapt to their new lifestyle especially since their grandparents had little money.

The grandparents couldn't provide the best education for the two boys but they did their best and brought them tutors and instructors, they even tried to do some teaching themselves. Though, that was not an easy matter for them seeing as their grandsons were troublesome and mischievous. The grandparents in time learned that they needed to show the kids some tough love to make sure they grew up into good men. And that was why the two boys were grounded almost all the time. And although Dante and Jamie were almost always grounded, constantly broke all the rules, broke into and out of many places as well as 'borrowed' things from people without permission, the two kids were good people deep down. And most importantly they cared about each other more than anything in the entire world. They also showed that affection differently as they had different personalities entirely.

In the summer of 2084, an old friend of the family gave the grandparents some money to get Dante into Hogwarts. It was considered both sad and exciting news for Dante hated leaving his brother behind yet wondered how it was to be in the famous school of Hogwarts. However, by the end of summer, the grandfather got really sick and the family had to use the money to treat the old man causing Dante to not go to Hogwarts that year. And surprisingly the young man wasn't distressed by the turn of events, except his grandfather's sickness. Dante was glad he wasn't going to leave his younger brother.

in the summer that followed, the two kids got funded to get into Hogwarts which was the greatest news the kids had heard in a long time. Together they started plotting and talking and fantasizing about their new life there.

Herstory

Bianca was born to a wealthy Canadian wizard family. Her father was a heir to Rush Properties Ltd. but he chose to work as an Auror in Ministry. Soon after she was born, her family decided to move to Salem, Massachusetts because of her father's job. She and Bryan spent most of their childhood time in Salem while the cousin/big brother went to Salem Magical Institute. When she was nine, the family moved to England. At first she didn't like it since she had to leave her friends back there. At the age of 11, she accepted the letter from Hogwarts and so did Bryan. Gary was the Head Boy at the time and she was very excited. But then she had to be separated with Bryan since he was sorted in Ravenclaw while she's in Slytherin. She was unpleasant to realize that but having Gary in Slyherin made her a little bit comfortable.

I was born Rowena Kiarra Amorosa in Brighton, England. At the age of 4, my birth parents are nowhere to be found and I was left behind outside an orphanage. Rohan Hazelwood, a Muggle Studies professor, came to my rescue and adopted me into his family to join his two sons, Declan and Shane, and his wife, Marley, and himself. There's nothing else I call them now, but my saviours and my real family. I couldn't be luckier. Being that I had trouble pronouncing my name when I was younger, everyone just stuck to calling me "Rorie" and also I'm not a big fan of my birthname either. History: Noah Jack grew up living in Sweden and England most of his life. He has a twin sister named Emma who happens to be in Gryffindor. The two are complete opposites but truly do love each other. He is the eldest child of Gabben Gardner and Kayla Winters. Shortly after he was born his mother was kidnapped and had her memory taken away. When she was released she chose to not return and left Noah and Emma’s father. While she was away, Noah’s father spent years trying to find and bring his wife home. She had almost no memory of Noah and his sister. When he was 3 his mum tried to secretly visit her children and rejected Noah. This always stayed with him and he holds a lot of anger on the whole situation. Since then he has not seen his mother and is just fine with that, but secretly he always wanted his mum to come home.

While his mother was away Noah’s father spent a few years searching for the mother of his children but in the end he came home empty handed. During this time Noah and his sister lived with their aunt Marie and uncle Matty. Gabben returned home and raised Noah and Emma on his own. This was a bit hard seeing as how Gabben was an ambassador for the Magical lands of Sweden and S.A.M. This meant that the three traveled around the world a lot making Noah very well-traveled and educated. Noah wishes to follow in his father’s footsteps and make his family proud.

More About Me: Nicole is a poor halfblood. She was born on October 21st 2072 to Steve and Catherine Holloway. Her father is a pureblood wizard, but her mother is a muggle, and since she was born she was raised to protect her father's secret so they could continue to live in the muggle community. When she was four years old, her younger brother Martin was born, and to this day they maintain a very close relationship.

She started muggle schooling with the other children her age in the neighborhood in order to learn her basic reading, writing and math skills.

Which, due to them still being at home and not at Hogwarts is obvious as they see their parents more often. Parker isn’t the best at school, but he isn’t the worst either – currently, he doesn’t feel any need to put any extra effort in to his classes which will likely come back and kick him at a later stage in his education.

Marsha can be loud, hyper-active and slightly pushy at times. She doesn’t like mess, so there might be a few blows up in her dorm if her fellow students can’t keep the room tidy – but she is hoping that they have that ability. Sha has been studying Judo since she was four years old, and horse riding since she was six. With a passion for running and sprinting, Sha was selected in 2088 to join the Welsh Youth Athletics team and in 2089 to join the British Youth Athletics team too.

History:
Marsha grew up in Wales with her father, Eliot, her Grandparents and her aunts and uncles. This was due to Eliot and his partner Kim having Marsha just out of Hogwarts, and Kim then adding severe Post-Natal Depression to her already varied list of illnesses. The months after Marsha’s birth were hard for Kim and as such they stayed with Eliot’s parents to try and ease the “burden” of having a new born so early in their adult lives. However, Kim only got worse and ended up spending four months at St. Mungo’s trying to recover. When the doctors deemed her ‘fit’ again, she moved into a small flat, but didn’t tell Eliot where she was. Eliot found out three weeks later that she had killed herself, stating that she wasn’t fit enough to raise Marsha. Marsha had her first birthday the week before.

Marsha doesn’t remember much about her biological mum, however she does know that she is growing up to look like her from the pictures that her dad has of his school sweetheart. Marsha’s Dad started to get close with a childhood and family friend Gemini when she was in her early twenties. They were dating not long after that, which unfortunately made her the victim of a kidnapping in 2079. It took Eliot just over 30 hours to track her down, and the kidnappers soon realised it was a bad idea to make him angry. Gemini didn’t want to go home, instead she moved in with Eliot, and his family that night and within a month Eliot, Gemini and Marsha had moved into their own house in the country side, with stables that Gemini would be looking after and letting out.

It hasn’t always been plain sailing, with different horse trainers coming and going and Eliot working weird and wonderful hours at work – but Marsha grew up knowing that she was loved by everyone in her very large, extended family and that if she ever wanted to talk then all she had to do was ask. Oh, and that there was never a stupid question, especially if you have no idea what the answer is going to be.
