History
Melbourne was born to Carter and Lilian Johanson while they were working on a Dragon Reserve in Wales. They were not planning on having another child when she was born and therefore pushed their daughter off on their adult children. Both parents being accomplished Magizooligists and Dragonologists they knew that having a young child on a dragon reserve would not be a safe idea and therefore sent her to stay with their child Jamison-Phillip Johanson and his wife Brigid. Melbourne being an adventurous and outgoing child proved to be too much for her elder brother to handle and he sent her to live with his twin brother Finnlay Johanson.
Finn introduced Mel to the art of crup breeding and lived in the family house with his sister Mika who was still in school. Mel has lived with Finn most of her life and therefore is treated more like a daughter by him than as a sister. All of her siblings took time to take care of her and bond with their youngest sibling as their parents were never around. The parents would frequently visit however in 2080 the visits stopped suddenly which was alarming to the family.
Mel having known that her parents worked on a Dragon Reserve assumed that they weren’t coming back. In the winter of 2083 the news was finally revealed that their parents had been eaten by a dragon on their reserve – this however didn’t dissuade Mel from liking the creatures.
Since Mel was eight years old she has frequently visited her neighbor’s hotel becoming friends with Ace Salander and Sam Macmillan. This was promoted by the connection to Sam’s adopted sister and Ace’s soon-to-be mother Emmaleigh Swynford. Emmy having been her brother Finn’s friend and part-time employee; because of this closeness with a maternal figure Mel views Emmy’s advice as something she should take heed in. She is also viewed as family.
In the summer of 2083 Mel frequently would have Rorie Hazlewood sit for her. This being because Rorie’s aunt and Finn Johanson’s relationship, this connection lead to Mel meeting her new idols. Those being Rorie Hazlewood and Cutty Mordaunt. In the summer of 2088 Melbourne's parents were labeled as deceased as they hadn't heard from them in quite a few years. At this time the parents will had stated that India Johanson should be the prime caregiver as she had already established a business when her parents had left for the dragon Reserve. This was hard for Mel as she still wanted to live near Ace as he was her closest friend in the region, however moving in with India and meeting Thunder Ward was how she became close with her sister's best friend and now joint-guardian.

Family History:
Isabella comes from a very large family that lives all over several European countries. She currently lives with her parents and two brother on Hayling Island, having moved there when she was three. Her family is very protective of her because of several tragic events that happen with other family members in the past. Magical History Before School:
There was no doubt in her mind that she wouldn't have magical abilities to continue her family long line of witches and wizards. She just needed to somehow bring the magic out. Her parents continuously told her that it would happen in due time, but she was so eager to bring it out that she would secretly try and do magic to no avail. It wasn't until the summer after turning nine that she finally demonstrated magical abilities. She had been playing in the small woods behind the house and fell into a hole. Julien is the second child out of four siblings. He was born in Saskatchewan Canada where he grew up with his siblings until it was time to go to the same school as his parents. He attended Hogwarts and was placed in his father’s house, Ravenclaw. Julien enjoyed Charms and Transfiguration the most. He played Chaser for his house team, but sports were never his true passion. Meeting a young Hufflepuff, Liliana at school the two became friends and later a couple. Once he graduated Julien moved back to Canada to be close to family and attended University to become a Charms Professor. After graduation he was hired for a private school in Saskatchewan as the Charms assistant professor where he stayed for three years before becoming the head professor and worked for 20 years. During his time teaching Liliana decided to move to Canada to be closer to Julien and their relationship grew. He married her and the couple had two children, Ross and Keely. Once their oldest son took a Professional Quidditch position in the British league Julien and Liliana decided to move to London where they could be close to their siblings as well as their oldest son. Ah, so you wanna know about the history of Cornelius. Orion. Baltazar. Sure. Why not? Before I was born, my parents tried REALLY hard to have a boy heir to the name. It didn’t happen after four daughters. They also had bumps and potholes along the way before I even happened. They ran into such a deep pothole when they chose to file for divorce. Of course, I’m here so something had to happen. Dad married my godmother Marisca, but that didn’t work out because it turns out her dead husband wasn’t really dead, so my dad and Marisca’s marriage didn’t count. A little while after that my parents fell in love again and remarried. WOOT!
That’s when I--Cornelius. Orion. Baltazar--happened. They say I was born late after the due date and that I was a big baby--not my fault my mum loved me and fed me well. I was loved on INSTANTLY. Mum says Dad threw a huge party and everyone in town was invited.
I grew up in a very cozy and doting home. My godparents live across my house, they are parents of my BESTEST friend in the whole wide WORLD; Rosalinda Jane Walke, a.k.a Rosie. She was born nine days after me, it was meant to be for us to be BFFs. We attended Young Witches and Wizards Academy in London. She’s into dance while I’m interested in Quidditch. It works out. She usually does my hair before a match and I trip anyone who needs dealing with.
Quidditch has been part of my since day one. Serious. My dad bought me my first toy broom and Falmouth Falcons jersey on the day I was born. I breathe, love and live Quidditch.
Recently I’ve graduated from YWWA and I am now on the road to Hogwarts. As per usual in our crazy mixed family, the bets have been set. Dad, Peyton, Kennedy and Seth bet ten galleons that I’ll land Slytherin. My godparents and their son, Johnthan, put down that I’ll land Gryffindor. Mum, dearest mother, has bet I’ll be in Ravenclaw. Here’s the thing, I don’t want to be Ravenclaw. And here’s another thing, I think I’ll land Ravenclaw. Mum’s the only ‘Claw in our family and I know it’ll make her proud and jump for joy if I took after her, but if I do, I worry I’m not as clever as everyone says I am. Arthur “Art” Newton was born to Neurobiologist Melissa, and Physicist Orville. He already had two brothers; Scott and Walter, and was soon joined by Samuel. He was born in Norway, whilst his family were on a three year working holiday there. The following year, they moved to Oxfordshire, where his parents returned to work. They were all very surprised when Scott, on his eleventh birthday, were visited by the current Head of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, who informed them that Scott was, in fact, a Wizard. Two years later, Walter followed, and sure enough, three years passed, and on April 1st, Art got his letter.
Hogwarts History
He was sorted into Gryffindor, and wasn’t the only Newton to be surprised, as his brothers had both been sorted into Ravenclaw. He was, however, on the stall for seven whole minutes. Art knew it was seven minutes because, as he remembers, he counted seven lots of sixty. Seconds, that is. The ultimate decision of the hat to place Art in Gryffindor soon proved to be obvious. The young lad was constantly doing things without thinking. He was in and out of the Hospital wing with injuries, and in and out of Detention. His bravery was too much for his poor sense of restraint, and his clumsiness. He was exceptionally gifted in Potions, and grew a keen interest in herbology, transfiguration, and Care of Magical Creatures, all of which assisted throughout his potions career.
Academic and Career History
Once Art graduated from Hogwarts, he had decided to continue with his magical studies, furthering his knowledge of Potions. For the next few years, he studied under great Potioneers, and his poor restraint proved to be a gift, as it was Art who, putting all of his great ideas to practice, was brave enough to deal with the singed eyebrows and burnt digits to find the perfect formulas for many potions, giving him the unfearing ability to invent many new potions.
After working in the Potions Laboratories for a few years, Art began to look into various magical illnesses and maladies. After feeling the desire to help those living with illnesses, in brewing healing potions, he applied for a training course at St. Olaf’s Hospital, back in his birthplace of Norway. The course ran for four years, and he learned about various illnesses and maladies, and how to create curative and treating potions. Following 15 years of training, working in the potions teams in various hospitals, and with the death of his beloved parents, Art decided to return to his muggle roots and apply to study Chemistry at the local muggle university. Over the next 15 years, he went through as a first year undergraduate, finishing his doctorate, and went on to teach part time within various High Schools. He divided his time between working as a chemist, and a potioneer, before finally, after his muggle retirement, applying for the post of Potion Master at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Personal History
Arthur met and fell in love with fellow Gryffindor muggle-born, Danielle McCray, whilst in their fifth year. Upon leaving Hogwarts, the two remained in a relationship and eventually married. The couple were both focusing on their careers, and did not have any children. Danielle eventually became an Auror, and was killed in duty. The mourning Art buried himself into his work, and spent four years trying to develop a shielding potion for other Aurors going into a dangerous situation. Soon after he developed a rough brew of the potion, he met another witch, Minnie Willowgrass. They married only six months later, and had three children, triplets, who were educated in Norway. Unfortunately Art's perfect family fell apart in 2081, when Minnie died of a pulmonary embolism.
Art and his children grew even closer in the wake of their mothers death. The children were at Hogwarts but Art had great support from his family.

Ansley Finch is the second child born to Muggles Wesley and Edith Finch. He has one sister, Greta, who is five years older and also a Muggle. He always thought himself to be a little different than other kids when he was younger, just didn't realize he was a Wizard until he turned 11 when representatives from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry came to his house to let his family know.
Ravenclaw was were he would be sorted, which seemed to be a suitable fit for Ansley's creative mind, though the lack of arts classes at the school disappointed him. He found many other ways to indulge his creative outlet, however, and once he finished Hogwarts, he went on to a Muggle University where he studied Visual Arts, Art History, and Education.
He spent the last several years at a few Muggle high schools, teaching Art and Art History, while maintaining his ties to the Magical community. An accomplished painter, he also has a successful side-business painting magical portraits. Through a series of unfortunate events, he lost his last high school teaching job which led him to the open History of Magic position at Hogwarts. Though he figures Art History isn't too far off from Magical History, Ansley considers himself a very well-rounded intellect, knowing about a lot of different things, especially obscure facts, due to his love of reading.

Mishenka Camilia Stevens was born on 6 June 2077 in Sochi, Krasnodar Krai, Russia. She spent the first two years of her life there before her paternal grandparents passed away due to a methane gas-leak in the hotel they were staying at while they were vacationing in Romania. As a result her father, the eldest child, inherited their lavish country Manor (Ciceroc), prompting the small family to leave the beautiful city and move to Bath, England.
Mason grew up alone, being an only-child and without any cousins her age, she was used to getting everything she wanted. She was cared for mostly by the Manor's maid and their two House Elves. Growing up, Mason always had a better relationship with her father than her mother. If he wasn't too busy, Sebastian would always try and spend time with his daughter, teaching her everything he knew about Quidditch and even training her in Duelling and Self-Defence. Her mother had always been a cold a distant person, but they loved each other nonetheless and Anya took it upon herself teach Mason to play both the piano and the cello. At the age of 6, her magic first started appearing and after that she was tutored from home, learning the basics of magic and their world. In the Summer of 2090, Anya filled for a divorce and her and Mason moved to Yekaterinburg, Russia, where Mason briefly attended Koldovstoretz in her Third Year. Shortly thereafter, Anya found out that she was 4 months pregnant with another of Seb's children, but decided to keep the news from her ex-husband and daughter. Azarias 'Asher' Grisha Stevens was born on 1 April 2091, with Anya telling Mason and Seb about his birth via letter. Seb filled for a court hearing, and him and Anya now have shared custody over their children.

Genny was born in a well-balanced and positive atmosphere. In August of the year 2065 James Draper was sorted into Gryffindor House. His strong sense of self, bold persona, and courageous heart allowed him to fit in right away. However, James was often more inclined to socialization and left his education by the wayside. Focusing more on staying on top of the social ladder and up-keeping his mischievous reputation lead James into more detentions than honors. Despite this, James did show interest in CoMC and DADA, as he enjoyed hands subject matters rather than theoretical ones such as Arithmancy and Ancient Runes; However, James still failed to prove himself academically (only receiving passing marks in those two subjects) and was thus rejected from all the universities he applied to by the end of his Seventh Year. His low academic performance whilst at Hogwarts lead him to enlist in the British Army immediately after his graduation.
⦁ Life After Hogwarts ⦁
Once graduated from Hogwarts, reality hit James very quickly. His shortcomings in academics lead to rejection from five separate universities and left him without any direction for his future. Believing he had been backed into a corner, James enlisted in the British military. His first ten weeks were spent undergoing strenuous training, where he learned very quickly that one ought to shut their mouth and take direction. During the course of his training James learned much about discipline, restraint, and self-control, all qualities, which he had never practiced until this time.
After ten weeks of initial training in combat, classroom, and environment, James was stationed at a base in England. After two years his exceptional skill lead to his deployment where he was placed in the jungles of Brunei. In Brunei he spent weeks at the Jungle Warfare School, where his interest in the diverse creatures of the land peaked. Whilst on the job, James often found himself wondering off into the jungles to observe the wildlife he encountered. He often took notes and wrote journals of these encounters, in order to keep memory of the journeys. After his four-year-long contract with the military was finally served, James decided to leave the armed forces. He did, however, stay behind in Brunei (later making his way around to China) for the next two years in order to study the diverse fauna.
Realizing that he had a newfound passion for creatures, James packed his bags and went back to his home in England, where he would then pick up a few classes at a local academy. After receiving an ample amount of credits from the local school, James was able to reapply to WU (Edinburgh Campus) and was later accepted under the academic studies of Cryptozoology and Magizoology. His acquired discipline, passion, and drive allowed for James to excel in his studies for the first time in his life. And in the spring of 2086, James graduated from WU with both degrees. Immediately he began travel and before the year came to an end he decided it was time to settle down and find a real job. When he found out his Alma Mater had an opening in the Creatures field, he was quick to jump on board, ready to redeem himself for the initial seven years he had spent taking his schooling for granted.
⦁ Where He Is Now ⦁
James Draper is difficult to pin down. Unfortunately this quality of his causes many to turn away unwilling to take the time to understand. After his time serving in the military James took a dramatic shift from the person he was as an adolescent. Though he very much still holds the same qualities, other ones that had been dormant now intensified. His hot-temper, quickness and lack of trust quickly became some of his more prominent characteristics.
Though James comes off as harsh and judgmental, he isn’t completely heartless like most assume. His inner Gryffindor traits still linger within him and as a result he ultimately does care about people very much. He has a very strong sense of loyalty, even to those he may show distaste for. Rule of thumb: he doesn’t hate you as much as he wants you to think he hates you.
He believes the most effective way to teach is to push his students to their greatest extent. Potential not used is potential wasted. He doesn’t quite understand that this may be overdoing it. Instead he believes that this is where he lost in his own education. When he slacked off, no one did anything about it which he believes to have been his greatest obstacle. Which is why he is the way he is when it comes to his own students.

Personality
Olivia Phillips is very much a vibrant, vivacious girl. If she could be personified as a fictional character, it'd be Disney Princess Rapunzel... but she's also so much more than that. On top of being a girl's girl and enjoying actually being girlie, Liv also likes getting down and dirty with the best of them. She climbs trees, falls and gets cuts and scraps....but will still strap on her pointe shoes and perform with flawless precision (thanks to the THIRTEEN YEARS of classical/formal ballet training). Christened "Tinkerbell" in her First Year, this Gryffindor also enjoys rolling around and playing with the sparkly stuff, in addition to many other arts and crafts. When it comes to her friends, she remains FIERCE and LOYAL; willing to vehemently defend against anyone who disrespects those she cares for.....though, she's never actually been in a physical fight (of that nature). Liv definitely likes it best when everyone she cares for gets along. She's not one who enjoys picking sides, but will tell someone quickly when she thinks they're in the wrong.... In her calming, placating way. Olivia understands the art of manipulation, thanks to her Slytherin mother, but she's also so many parts of her father; loving, affectionate, kind, and understanding.
As of Year Four: Due to trauma and deep personal tragedy, Olivia Phillips may no longer be as accepting or warm towards strangers...or people she doesn't know well, in general. Less loud and obnoxious, events have had a calming, sedating effect on this once lively girl. Suffice it to say that her worldview has been altered forever.
History
Year One: 2088 - 2089
To be perfectly honest, Olivia was totally excited about starting at Hogwarts since all her friends (who were older) had already gone off to school there. So excited was she, that she ditched riding in the Firstie boats to catch up with Blaise Bellaire and Bentley Moore, who she'd made acquaintances with over the previous summer. Naturally, having been given time to plot with these boys had been a bad idea, and before Liv knew it, she'd been swept up into a dramatically choreographed food fight. THE POTATOES HAD BEEN SPARED, thanks to some quick (and greedy) thinking on the Gryffindor's part. Oh, and there was that, too. She'd been hoping for Gryffindor house thanks to her father having been sorted there and the FABULOUS Alice Fischer. So, much to her relief, she joined the lions! As far as lessons went, "smol blonde" struggled massively in Transfiguration and Astronomy, but unexpectedly SHINED in Defense Against the Dark arts, which could've been thanks to Professor Hirsch (or...PRINCE ERIC for those those that hadn't made the connection). Other academic honorable mentions (in the lessons department) went out to Charms (which she quickly fell in love with) and Care of Magical Creatures (because some of these animals were dangerous and Liv has zero self preservation). Highlights of the term: placing SECOND in her age group in Dueling Club, joining the Yearbook staff as a junior scribe, and making many new, wonderful friendsies (the best of which being Rooney Bronwyn) Year Two: 2089 - 2090
After a rather uneventful summer, which she'd spent with friends and family, Liv boarded the Hogwarts Express for another year of magic. Since her first term had been rather disappointing, she'd promised herself she'd just suck it up and make more of an effort. This worked for the most part, as everyone wanted to share in her tea and snacks. No one turns down tea and snacks, FYI. Some new friends were made and feeling placated with that success, the Feast stayed uneventful. Actually, most of the term was uneventful. One amazing point, Professor Myers really impressed her with his Herbology lesson planning. A keen lover of all things DISNEY, the small Gryffindor sucked up the Alice in Wonderland with fevered enthusiasm. With his "dress up" and "cosplay", he quickly jumped to favorite professor; second only to Prince Erik (aka, Professor Hirsch). Academia aside, most of the excitement came from personal happenings for this blonde. Liv finally SNOGGED, which was a big to do, and orchestrated by her two very best girlfriends, Chloe Newman and Charlotte Kettleburn. Insert one Casper Greenwood. From around Valentine's towards the end of the term, she practiced with the Ravenclaw (which was wonderful and exciting for her, obvi)....but then disaster struck when Rooney Bronwyn "happened'. In a big way, yes. In short: world view = shattered. They shared a kiss in a moment of excitement, and it pretty much changed everything for her. It was understandable, really. Roo was her very best friend and....well, his kissing didn't suck. So...... Highlights of the term: Professor Myers' crazy wardrobe choices! Dueling club dramas, in which Liv lost interest for some reason. Dramaz with the Wolf Pack; Bentley Moore, specifically. "All girl" slumber party in Moaning Mrytle's loo! NO BOYS ALLOWED (to cheer up Char). Henry and Myrtle sitting in a tree....K I S S I N G. Year Three: 2090 - 2091
With the summer being much more eventful, and her spending so much time with a taken Rooney Bronwyn, Olivia found herself in a truly sticky spot. Roo had yet to break up with his (then) girlfriend, Minnie Darling...and because of that, the tensions between the two seemed to remind at maximum level; spilling over into the first part of the term. It was the very real concept of 'I want to kiss you, but I can't kiss you because you AREN'T mine'. Through the angst, Liv managed to carry on with her daily school life. She even befriended a boy who she'd met over the previous term's Christmas break, Takeru Asakura. With everything uncertain between herself and Rooney, Liv allowed herself to become close with the new Slytherin. And that's when things got really interesting. Amid her aggressive attempts to stay on top in lessons (which she managed, thank you very much), she found herself truly torn between the two boys. Rooney, who'd been capable of taking care of her emotional needs, and Tak, who was very much a physical Slytherin. BUT...due to Roo's inability to settle down without testing his potential girlfriends, the two had a very dramatic, obnoxiously loud falling out; nearly ruining their bestfriendship forever. While they were split, Liv and Tak got even closer, mainly because Liv is a very social creature, and requires closeness with others. It didn't last long, however, as Roo and Liv fail to stay away from each other. Ever...which got them into this mess in the first place. In the end, Olivia and Rooney (Hogwarts' most dramatic pair) made it OFFICIAL. Switching over to lessons and grades, Olivia managed to stay on top in several lessons this term, and even picked up a new appreciation for History of Magic, under Professor Newton's tutelage. As well as Ancient Runes, though Professor Sokolov claimed to dislike ALL Gryffindors. Charms earned a special place in her heart, too, as the Professor's name was, indeed, GASTON. If you immediately thought that Olivia and Rooney took advantage of this, you'd be correct. Also, FAVORITE CLASS of the term goes to Muggle Studies and them watching the film The Wizard of Oz. Throughout, Liv dramatically enacted scenes and sang the songs. #TheatreBaby Highlights of the term: Earning TOP POINTS for Gryffindor House and winning FIRST PLACE in her age division in Dueling Club (which she'd been working towards for THREE YEARS). Takeru Asakura becoming vital to her, on various levels. Piffy Wedding date with Jacen Reed. Rooney Bronwyn becoming her first ever BOYFRIEND. Year Four: 2091 - 2092
Leading into the the term, Olivia was dealing with the aftermath of a highly sensitive incident. One that, of course, left the Gryffindor utterly changed. Because the situation was so life-altering, she missed the train back to school, the Welcome Feast, and the first week of lessons; for the sake of her mental health. Once she was back at school, however, the blonde tried her absolute best to jump right back into the thick of things. She continued to shine in Defense Against the Dark Arts and Herboloy, due to her determination to pretend everything was okay, but eventually, not even DADA, Professor Hirsch, plants, and Professor Myers were enough to block out all the bad things she was allowing to happen to herself; mainly her lack of eating, sleeping, and general care. After struggling through the first several months of school (and a horrific fight/breakup with Rooney), she was finally pulled out by her mother and shipped away to Italy for recovery. While away, Olivia exchanged regular correspondence with Corbin Stemp, Nathan Way and Takeru Asakura-Kenning. Little did she know of the awful things that were occurring back at school, which Brinlee Bronwyn saw to amending. Upon finding out that Rooney had been kidnapped, Liv had been beside herself, ready to go back to school if just to check on him. After a lot of tears and arguments, she was allowed to return; with the rule that if things started to feel like too much again, she'd need to let someone know right away. So that she wouldn't take action against her own self. Luckily, repairing the relationship with her best friend was easy enough and one less thing she needed stress over...for the first few weeks back. There was a monster on the loose, and throughout that entire situation, Olivia tried to stamp down her own PTSD, in a constant state of turmoil. After the monster had been defeated (with the sacrifice or Miffy and Storm), there was a solid month were Liv didn't speak to anyone. She didn't attend meals in the Great Hall or most lessons in the actual classrooms. Everyone was healing, and she didn't have it in her to be as kind as was needed in that situation. The term ended without much fuss, and she was left to wonder how they would all move forward past that point. Highlights of the term: Maintaining her place among Professor Hirsch's Blackbelt Duelists, and Professor Myer's Green Thumb Club (despite a rocky term). Also, meeting the Kenning Siblings. Not the happiest highlight, but leaving things on a high-note with Rooney Bronwyn, as well (#rules). Year Five: 2092 - 2093

Before Durmstrang:
Roderik was born towards the last ticking hours of the 29th of September 2080 to Ludwig and Annaliesse Hirsch. He is the youngest of three children and is also an only boy, so he knows how to gain the attention he needs. While his sisters were both the quiet, indoorsy type, Roderik grew up to balance that trait out in the family by being exuberant and fairly confident. He was always one to be more into activities that are action packed and require a more physical approach than a theoretical one. It was because of this that he picked up a hobby of boxing at the age of ten; something that his father was very keen on. He even encouraged the young boy to join a club of sorts where he could take part in competitions and learn to fight for himself, even at a tender age.
He was even made to attend a, then, fairly new Deutsche Akademie für Selbstverteidigung (German Academy for Self Defence). As with anything you do in life, you have to start from the bottom. And so, Roderik had started off in this Academy as a young, carefree individual who was bright eyed about anything to do with fighting. The Academy further helped him with the anger issues he had faced, where he felt that he could really take out his inner turmoil on the boxing bag in front of him.
Time at Durmstrang, Deutsche Akademie für Selbstverteidigung (German Academy for Self Defence) and the Wizarding University of Berlin:
His time at Durmstrang was one in which he used to harness his love for anything action packed and turned that to his advantage: namely, in terms of using magic rather than just learning about the theory. He found himself becoming better and better at Defence, especially when he learnt to harness his anger into it. His main struggle, however, was remembering that Defence at Durmstrang required using your wand to defend yourself and not just your fist. Puberty only made this worse when his anger got out of bounds and he found himself in more sticky situations than he wanted to be in.
Roderik had managed to progress within the Deutsche Akademie für Selbstverteidigung (German Academy for Self Defence) very well from a newbie to a mentor to the younger kids, but he also came across a dilemma when he found out that he couldn’t study further in the school due to the age restrictions. He could certainly use his knowledge anywhere else in the real world but the boy had grown an attachment to the school itself. During his time there, he had liked the idea of being around people like himself and helping some of the younger kids as well. It was because of this that Roderik found himself going back to university to gain a teaching degree. It was much more boring than theoretical defence but his aims were clear and his goal was set and not even Merlin himself could steer Roderik away from achieving this.
While reigning in his anger issues was quite hard, figuring out what he wanted to do wasn’t. His love for anything action-packed and his grades in his Defence classes meant that he went on to study Defence Against the Dark Arts in the Wizarding University of Berlin. At this point, Roderik found himself getting more and more bored of the usual theories behind the practical work. He was starting to grow impatient of the tedious, mundane life of everyday university students.
It was his deepest fear of landing himself a boring, everyday job that stopped him from being an Auror. Being out on the field sounded great but the idea of being cooped up in a government job wasn’t appealing in the slightest sense. It was largely due to this and the dilemma with the Defence Academy combined that led him to take on a teaching degree alongside his Defence degree.
After WU:
When he had gained the degrees he’d wanted, Roderik went back to the Deutsche Akademie für Selbstverteidigung (German Academy for Self Defence) to teach a variation of boxing and karate. While the man isn’t the most warm hearted of people, he found that he very much enjoyed the enthusiasm portrayed by such tiny beings. Maybe that’s why he decided to stay for so long and focused on teaching some of the younger kids. The Academy itself was becoming more and more popular, especially once crime rates were rising upwards. It was because of this that they decides to expand and further their horizons. Schools were set up in various parts of the country as well as the Netherlands, France, Switzerland, Austria, Poland, Sweden and, funnily enough, England.
Three years into his job, he was able to travel to London to oversee the work being held there. Roderik moved to the busy capital and stayed to teach Muggle kids self-defence for a further two years. It wasn’t Germany and he found that the kids themselves were very different to the ones back home but it would have to do. When the announcement of an opening in the Defence Against the Dark Arts position reached the man’s ears, he jumped at the opportunity. Teaching Muggle kids was one thing but teaching magical ones? That was going to be a challenge in itself and it was a challenge he was happy to take.

Ever since he was a little boy, Roderik has always been one to tackle things with a more physical approach. He’s always been incredibly curious and has believed that a hands-on approach is the best way to learn. He’s usually one to go with the flow and you’ll rarely see him stressed out. Confident, practical and charismatic are often ords used to describe the man. He knows how to deal with people, especially kids, whom he’s able to let his more spontaneous side shine. He’s also one to not be scared to get his hands dirty if the situation calls for it.
However, his confidence can go slightly out of bounds and he can be known to act too soon. Reckless is another word used to describe the man, especially when he lands himself in a situation that wouldn’t have happened if he had just paused for a moment to think. This lack of thinking capacity means that the man is often known to say things without thinking about them first, making him come across as slightly rude and insensitive. He also finds it difficult to deal with emotions, especially in terms of empathy. Counselling isn’t something he signed up for but it’s something that he’s had to do with little positive results. Because of this, Roderik also finds it difficult to commit to one person, choosing instead to bounce from person to person, just to stop himself from getting bored. This fear of boredom is known to leak into his everyday life as well.
With all of this, it’s never easy to get to know a man like Roderik. Just when you think you know him well, you find out that there’s still a little locked box in the corner that cannot be opened, no matter how hard you try.

Born and raised in Tokyo, Japan to a decidedly middle class family, Nana Ichihara grew up happily; loved and cared for by parents that doted on her, but never spoiled her, and with the city of Tokyo practically another parent to the little girl. From its’ lively streets, Nana learned how to speak for herself, hold her head up in the face of anything and how to handle all of life’s messups and misadventures, it was also where she learned about fashion, her other great love aside from Transfiguration.
Sadly, when Nana was 10, her father drowned to death while the family was vacationing. Nana has never gotten over the lost of her father in such a dramatic manner, but rather then let the pain weigh her down, she lives her days to the best in his honor.
Time passed and though quiet, Nana soon proved herself quite adept at spellwork and the teachers, impressed by her talent encouraged her to further her study, offering her advanced courses during the summer months when her mother was too busy with the restaurant to watch the girl. After graduating from Himitsumahou, Nana was hungry for further knowledge and thirsted to test her own limits. She traveled, she read, she worked and learned and pushed her boundaries, and comfort levels, she even took on the daunting task of learning English on her own. It was not until some time after all this that miss Ichihara took on the task of becoming an Animagus, a dream she had held since childhood.
Alas, though the young woman completed her training and achieved the transformation, she was cursed blessed with a rather useless animagus form that she is actually a fair bit embarrassed of.
Recently Miss Ichihara has, with the blessing of her former boss and Mentor Preston Kingsley, taken on the post of Transfiguration Professor at the illustrious Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Noelle has a pretty laid back personality. She was raised by her mother so she is a hugger. She likes to make people feel like they belong and are welcome. Noelle's family has been in the same spot for over two hundred years. The Summers were farm people. They lived and breathed for their farm and family. From the time they could walk, they were taught the ways of the land. Noelle knew how to do things most twelve years old would never know how to do. They were very family oriented. They ate together, danced together, worked together. Big music parties were held every other weekend where extended family and neighbors all got together and played instruments, danced, ate, fellowshipped and had a good time. Noelle's dad taught his family to work hard and play hard. Noelle's mother taught them to smile and love while doing it.
Noelle was brilliant with her home studies, before she went to Hogwarts. Noelle's mom knew there was a chance she could be magical, especially with some of the magic that she had already done. PERSONALITY
Trixie is a very bubbly person. She loves having fun and doing exciting things. She has an extremely wild imagination and will often twist a story so that it will sound more interesting whether it's true or not. She likes to talk a lot and can sometimes be a little nosy into other people's business but she means no harm.
HISTORY
Trixie is an only child. Her parents met in Hawaii while holidaying there. Unfortunately it wasn't the usual romance where two people meet, fall in love and then live happily ever after. Fred and Monique spent two blissful months with each other but neither were the type for commitment and they went their separate ways. A month after they said their goodbyes, Monique found out that she was pregnant. It took her five years to track down Fred so that she could tell him that he was a father. Even though the two now shared a child they still did not marry. Trixie spent the past six years being shuffled between her parents but she didn't mind, she had parents that loved her and gave her their time. But she still holds out hope that one day her parents will get their act together.

A POTTED HISTORY
Sam had a tough start to life, apparently abandoned as a baby on the streets of magical London. She grew up homeless around of Diagon and Knockturn Alley, making her home in the rooftops and learning to fend for herself, usually disguised as a boy. As a result, she's a skilled climber and pickpocket, although she operated under the grifters' code and won't steal from an honest man. She wasn't entirely alone, being raised by her Pa, Connor Tyler, a dealer in whatever goods he could get his hands on, although was used to people seeing right past her and her tatty clothes.
Despite his many failings as a businessman, Conner was determined that Sam would go to better herself at Hogwarts, and surprised her the summer before first year when he produced the funds to go get her wand, books, equipment and robes. That same summer, she met Dora whilst the Gryffindor was waiting for her Dad who was shopping in Knockturn Alley. Little did she know that impact would have on the rest of her life.
Going to Hogwarts was like a dream come true; for the first time Sam had a proper hot meal, and slept on a proper bed. The sorting to Ravenclaw was a surprise, as she'd never been properly taught to read or write. However, with the patient help and support of Dora, and the Ravenclaw HoH/librarian Mr Kitredge, by the end of the year Sam had conquered this challenge and caught up with her peers. Her summer was spent back on Diagon Alley with her Pa, but it wasn't the same having experienced the wonder of Hogwarts. However, she did start to sort out her Pa's books.

Personality
Quiet and bookish, Ailsa is nonetheless no stranger to action, or, at least, to the out-of-doors. While you won't find her jumping off of bridges into streams for thrills you probably will find her up to her knees in the mud at the side of the stream curiously peering at salamanders or intently watching a spider build its web. She's also fond of working with potions as her generally calm and analytical mind finds itself perfectly at home with the order and precision required for potions making.
She's quite fond of animals - of all living things really - and this fondness tends to run in both directions. And while it might not be apparent immediately given her tendency to withdraw from crowds or any moderate hubub, Ailsa truly does enjoy people quite a lot.
History
Technically Ailsa is a half-blood, but her connection to the wizarding world is rather attenuated due to the fact that her mother, while a reasonably powerful witch, was muggle-born. For Brighid, Ailsa's mother, keeping the family farm that had belonged to Ailsa's muggle grandparents meant maintaining sizable connections with the muggle world. The fact that Brighid married a muggle man only cemented the decision to live largely within the muggle community.
While the wizarding world was by no means hidden from Ailsa (indeed, Ailsa's favorite book as a toddler had been her mother's battered copy of "The Tales of Beedle the Bard" and she'd been helping her mother with simple potions for the family's livestock since she was 5 or 6), the fact is that her childhood prior to Hogwarts was, at least superficially, little different from a muggle childhood.
