"Got it," she said and looked back at him, smiling. "Thank youuu." Lovely manners, he had, yep. Up she went, dragging her pets cages onto the train first and then heaving the trunk up, too. She stepped back and made room for Forrest to join her. Oh and EEEEP! SHE WAS ON THE ACTUAL TRAIN ! AGSBAGHSB! |

Mackenzie maneuvered her way around the crowds of students to the north end of the platform. This would also give her a seat in the front of the train. Which was sounding like a great idea, from the look of it there were going to be a LOT of first years and she was not going to be fighting over a seat with firsties.. She stood off watching the others, looking for some of her friends, from the looks of it no one had made it to kings cross yet. Sigh oh well maybe she would get the chance to make new friends while she waited. |

It was funny, because Schuyler had been in a cheery mood today. But, she just didn't tolerate cocky boys. And this one was cute, yes, but all his behavior was pointing him right in the direction of arrogant-central. She looked at him, wondering why in the world he thought bumping into a girl was something to smile about. Well..... there were a LOT of boys who didn't have tact these days. Her eyes followed his over to some blonde, then returned to him. It was an effort to stifle an eye-roll. "Right. Well, eyes up next time." She gave a little nod, and shifted her weight onto the other foot. |
Leaving for Hogwarts is always a bittersweet thing, at least for Blue anyway. Sure, it was great to see her friends again but she hadn't gotten much of a chance to miss them, given she'd seen them so much of the Summer. Bitter though, because she was away from her parents a lot more than she saw them. After being passed from family member to family member for hugs (multiple times) she pushed her trolley up the platform. Her trusty toad was tucked away safely in her coat pocket. The train was there alright, ready for boarding but Blue kept an eye out for someone -- Theo, West, Cassia. ANYONE. She froze when she heard her name and walked backwards a couple of steps, fixing on a grin. "Look no further boys, I'm right here." And with that, she spun on her heel, so she was facing and beaming at Garrick and Ben. She kept a hand on her trolley though, in case someone decided her personal belongings looked valuable enough to steal. |
Benjy and BLUE Benjy really didn't know Kalla at all. Garrick just smiled and shook his head. "She doesn't know she needs you. She does." That was all he was going to say. Cryptic? Perhaps. But true. Mhm. And his arm was GROSS. Legit. And he got a derisive snort at the suggestion that Garrick couldn't do physical labor. He could. And he did. Clearly. "If you were wearing protective gear that wouldn't have happened." And yeah, he sounded like a nagging mum. But he didn't care. And his hair... "It's definitely different," Garrick said as he ran a hand through HIS fabulous locks. I mean, Benjy's hair paled in comparison to Garrick's. He couldn't help that, though. Heh. And WHAAAA. Blue. She popped up like her ears had been burning. Hehehehe. Garrick smirked a bit and immediately moved forward and pulled her into a hug. A proper one. He had missed her. For real. "Hey pretty girl. Excited about going back to school?" He asked as he picked her up and spun her around. And yeah... It was not typical behaviour for Garrick, but something had changed in him over the summer... |
Benjy shook his head with a roll of his eyes. "You two are as bad as each when it comes to being cryptic. Seriously. And then you wonder why I interpret stuff wrong." Really it was no wonder Benjy thought tje Ogdens liked to keep him in the dark with all their riddles. Pfft. "It's not that bad. You know I've had worse." And he did sometimes wear protection, but nowhere as often as he should, and only to keep certain people happy. "And c'mon, the 360!" Wasn't he even the slightest bit excited at that? Meh, different. Garrick sounded like his mum. First protection, and then a nothingness description of his hair. Really, why did he bother? And luckily, his mood wasn't given a chance to linger, as Blue turned up right on cue. "Heya," he greeted friendily. He soon was looking at Garrick curiously though. He'd missed something here. Like seriously. Did Garrick...? No. Surely.... He was never that forward. |

He couldn't lose her. The boy quickly ran after the cat, pushing through people and almost tripping a couple times. He then came to a stop where Ginger sat right by a girl's feet. The kitten stared up at the girl and rubbed herself against the girl's leg, purring loudly. Dylan looked at the girl in embarassment and blushed slightly. "I-I'm so sorry...sh-she got loose..." he stuttered softly, bending down and scooping up the kitten. |
SPOILER!!: OMG HE IS THE CUTEST THING!!! Itching. Mackenzie's leg was ITCHING the blond looked down to see the cutest orange kitten rubbing itself against her leg. "Awww..." but before the now third year Gryffindor could bend down to pet the small animal a young boy rushed over and started stammering his apologies. "Oh it's alright. She's a cute little thing. Can I pet her?" The blonde waited for the boy's answer before she moved. |

Cat was glad that her parents had let Aunt Delilah drop her off at the train. Really, Delilah was much better at goodbyes since her momma tended to get all teary eyed and that made Cat squirmy cause she didn't do crying well. It was a little odd that Marco was here, but well, it was still good too. Marco was good at goodbyes also, so there would be no tears all around and that was always a good thing. Besides, she had someone to carry all her stuff! "You okay over there, Sforza?" Just checking. "He's finnnnnne." Delilah answered FOR the boy with a dismissive wave of her hand in his direction. "You're fine, aren't you, boy?" She cast her dark eyes in his direction and raised an eyebrow. "He's fine." She decided again. |

Stan's smile faded instantly. He apologised, didn't he? So what was her problem? GIRLS. Stan tried not too look too annoyed and answered stiffly, "I'll try." It wasn't like he just walked around and bumped into people on purpose. That would be stupid. ... Now, what? The fifteen year old wasn't sure what to do now.. Could he just walk away without apprearing rude? |
Quote:
Marco did not struggle. He did no such thing in the presence of women. A heavy cart was no match for him. He was a stubborn boy in front of Moretti women, but a whiny one in the presence of his own family. He was perfectly capable. He just had to keep telling himself that and eventually it would be true. Delilah scared him. That was also a reason for the lack of whining. "The Sforza is fine." he nodded, knuckles white from gripping the cart so tight. Upon his statement, a decent sized round box fell from a top the pile. "I got it, I got it." |
Quote:
The girl just bounced between the two and grinned. Marco was fine, she supposed, though she'd take over if he asked her to and Cat knew better than to think he would. She turned her grin towards Marco after Aunt Delilah spoke. It was still weird that she'd dated Marco's uncle. Still weird, yep. "Are you suuuuuureeee you're fine?" She asked in a hushed sort of voice so that Aunt Delilah wouldn't hear. |
Quote:
With a slight undertone of panic in his expression he smiled at Cat as her gaze fell on him. "Fine with pushing the cart, sure." he whispered back to her. "But your aunt's sort of.." Terrifying. He couldn't say that. Not about a Moretti. Cat would probably laugh at him for it anyway. |
Anyone? Just poke me if you take her :D Kahlan wasn't at all happy at how quickly the holidays had passed. From her experience of last year, while classes were fun Hogwarts wasn't exactly fun to be at since they'd run into financial difficulty. And her optimism for change and belief in what the older student had told her quickly left after the year had passed and there were still Hogwarts funding stations in Diagon Alley - but this year she had a couple of galleons tucked in her pocket so they wouldn't have a repeat of last year where they couldn't get into the common room. And now, to wait. Looking around earlier she hadn't seen anyone she'd noticed so she slumped slightly, sitting on her trunk as she held onto her cat to make sure it didn't run off like it did last year. She wasn't going to spend the whole trip searching for it this year!!! |
SHE WAS HERE!! SHE WAS HERE AND SHE HAD NOT MISSED THE TRAIN! RESULT! Derry had been genuinely scared that she wouldn't make it on time and she'd miss getting on the train and sitting in the prefects compartment for her first time as captain and it would all be terribly embarrassing and so nobody would try out for the team because the captain was clearly an idiot and everything would go wrong and she'd have to drop out and move to Australia to live with koalas and then she'd be safe except koalas were vicious and- CALM. DOWN. FERRIER. Okay. None of that was going to happen. She was here. She was on time. And she had everything. Everything except a broom. She hadn't been able to get her own broom. Siiiigh. Once she'd made it onto the platform, Derry stopped to catch her breath and opened Lando's cat basket - she needed kitty cuddles. Lando, however, seemed to have other ideas, as he jumped up and out of the basket, running off across the platform... apparently towards the nearest other cat... Quote:
"Sorry, he's kind of excitable..." she said to the girl as Lando started to play with her badge. No. That was not allowed, cat. Shiny new badges are not cat toys. Not for you. She shifted the cat in her arms so he wasn't attacking her captain badge anymore and looked back at the girl. "He didn't try and attack you or anything, right?" Probably not - he was just an oversized kitten - but it was good to check. |
Minnie made her way to the north end of the platform. This summer had gone by so fast. Too fast. Unlike most summers it had been rather dramatic and the blonde was kinda happy to go back and start a new year. This would be her last year at Hogwarts and she had to admit that it was kinda scary.Hopefully it would be a good year. |
Laura at the end SPOILER!!: So this is late She didn't know whether she was meant to tell him how complicated the situation sounded...or how boring. Anything overridden by muggle means was boring. It lacked that spark that added colour to your life but it was a touchy subject as she'd come to learn with him so she wasn't about to go saying THAT! Absolutely not. Making Forrest feel better was the objective. Not making him avoid her for the rest of the term. "Oh. Well. That's fine too, planes and that flying thing they do. Mhm." And she gave a polite nod but thought this conversation was better off discarded. Lex was about to change the topic when Kitty!Tobias came over WITH HIS KITTY! It didn't have a name yet. "Eh, you have the whole term to think one up. Just give it a name before spooky stuff start happening that way if he goes missing it'll be all up in dramatics with you running around the castle calling the most epic name anyone's heard in a while." It was important to think ahead for these things. DUH. "I had a big breakfast. Told Daddy it'd be the last decent meal I'd have in a while and he made it special." This realization made her sigh deeply. She really wasn't ready to go back to starving just yet. "But Forrest is Right. Headmistress Truebridge said this term will be better and though she stole a broach and nearly got us eaten by a man eating plant in my first year, I'd like to believe her." Lex even added a nod of conviction. Oh and back to half yell!talking to Laura. She shrugged. "I'm good, excited to be going back but I know I'll change my mind by the end of the feast. How are you?" |

"Didja miss me?" He whispered as he proceeded to wrap his arms around her waist from behind. |

Just as she was about to look for her boyfriend, the Slytherin felt someone wrap their arms around her."Not at all", she whispered back snuggling into him, "why would i?" Of course she had missed him.Not being around Ryan had become so unatural that she missed him every second they were seperated. |

However, he was distracted from this fantasy in the form of a young girl, who looked to be a first or a second year. Adi grinned. "Hi! Whats-'' He shuffled backwards as an older boy hurried directly toward him. The boy was paying attention to his owl. Why didn't they watch where they were going? "What's up?'' he called back to the young girl. Oh when was the train going to arrive so he can have some peace? |
The PieMan + anyone else is cool too^^ SPOILER!!: Nash Lowly whistling, Wade walked on through the barrier passing his way through towards the North end of the Platform. Guess all that was left was to load his stuff on.. Later. Yeah, there was no rush. There were loads of people around, and in the crowd Wade was sure to find a good number of those he knew. In fact, the sight of one of his mates also got him to put off the loading."Heya, Nash!" Wade waved a little before joining him. Nash aka the Pie man and Wade's pickle dealer. It was cool working with him when they Interned at QQS along with the Quidditch practices and other fun stuff last term. Yep, yep. "How's it going?" |
