Her brown eyes followed his finger to a poster with his mum in it. She nodded. " Nice." And it must be nice. She though of everything to try to get her dad to not bring her. It clearly didn't work. "He insisted on coming." Eh. She nodded over in the direction of where her dad was at. She rolled her eyes, slightly.
”Yeah, me too. Have you seen anyone else?" People that they actually knew? Besides her dad. Not that it mattered really. She was pretty happy with the company she had now.
He chuckled, "Well at least you don't have your baby brother here. Mum brought the twins the last two years." So embarrassing to have his sisters crying and making a scene when he was trying to be cool. He kept his arm around her as he moved them towards a bench to sit down.
"I haven't seen anyone else, but I've been just putting these up and not paying attention." He looked around figuring their friends were around here somewhere. "Though Lux is probably in a corner crying without Bay coming back."He chuckled jokingly.
Why were they needing to go back? He was still grumbling about that. "Do you think there will finally be quidditch again?" It was the only thing that would make that castle interesting.

She shrugged. Really she figured that was the only reason why he decided to bring her was because they didn't hardly get any father- daughter time this summer. He was making up for it now. "Actually I told him that he could bring Chase along." And when he said no. It only confirmed her thought of him trying to make up for things. Truefully she was glad that he didn't come along too.
She put her arm around him too. Following him over to a bench and sat down beside him. "Yeah. It's still pretty early." They had plenty of time to find them or not. She was fine just like this for now. She could find them on the train. She was just about to smack him on the arm for saying that but instead she laughed and rolled her eyes, and put her head on his shoulder. "Probably. In less he came to see her off. In that case I can see her trying to get him on the train."
If she ever got that obsessed with her boyfriend, someone could smack her. They had her permission too. She frowned slightly at his question. "I doubt it. It would be great though." She slipped her hand into his. Big change from his quidditch filled summer. It would be great to have it back. But it probably wasn't happening. Which took the fun out of everything.

"Last year! Are you glad to be finishing?" She only had 2 years left, and then she was… free? What was she going to do when she finished?
"Oh you're a twin? Who is your twin?" That was kind of cool. Zhenya had a brother that was 7 years older than her, and twin siblings that were about 12 years younger. No sibling close in age to her, so she would never be able to go to school with a brother or sister. It would have been really nice if she could have though.
She couldn't help but smiled. Seemed like this girl was impressed of her judging ability. Well, that wasn't judging. It's more like... reading people's personality. "I'm just guessing. Most people who prefer to listen are basically a private person since they don't open much to a stranger... like me." That was true. For her, Bianca was a total stranger. They'd never met before.
Are you glad to be finishing? Was she? Hmm.. She wasn't sure.
"Maybe." She shrugged. "My brother said that once you graduated, it means that you are a fully adult. You're gonna face so many things that become you responsibility and one day you're gonna miss school life though it sucked. I dunno if he just freaked me out or basically it was true. Well, I'm gonna miss my school time but I think I'm ready to face adulthood." She said. She had plans what she's gonna do after graduated from Hogwarts like getting a job and go to University.
Her twin? Oh, right. "Bryan. He's in Ravenclaw and a very quiet person, not to mention he is nerd and very studious. I think he just... love study." Oops, her bad. Talking too much made her forget to introduce herself. Please, Bianca. "And I am Bianca, Slytherin."

Zhenya thought about what this girl was saying. "Yeah… you're right, it's totally me." Once upon a time she was more outgoing, more willing to spill her private details, but not anymore. She was still open, still spoke about herself, but she had changed.
Adulthood. "What do you want to do when you finish?" Now that she was a sixth year, Zhenya had been more… interested in different paths. Of course she still wanted to be a healer, but there were other things, and she needed to think about it. She couldn't just assume she would be able to become a healer. She needed backups.
Bryan… "I've never met him, I don't think." No, surely not. "You're a Slytherin too? So am I! I'm Zhenya. Zhenya Burton," she introduced herself happily. So Bianca was a Slytherin too? That made things… more bearable for the new term.

What do you want to do when you finish?
Bianca raised her brow. "You know, it's kinda weird to ask some personal questions someone who just you knew. Because, though you think I am a chatterbox or whatsoever, I kinda hard trusting someone. What if you were a creepy stalker who secretly had a revenge to me or something?" Asking about her plans for the future was kinda personal. She put her serious face and stared at her. That girl seemed freak out with her statement. Seriously, what did she want?
..........
"Sorry." Suddenly she chuckled. "I'm kidding, and by the way your face look cute when you freaked out. No hard feelings, okay?" Gotcha! "I uh... I want to study law or communication or diplomacy, still can't decide yet. I still have one more year to decided. No need to hurry, right? I just don't want to choose the wrong major that make me feel miserable for the entire of my life. That's not good." She already asked her parents' opinion, they said it's up to her and when she asked Gary, he said that she should do whatever she loved. That's easy for him because things that he loved were photography, traveling and apples.
"You don't mind if I asked the same question, right?" She asked. Oh, that girl was a Slytherin too! What a good coincidence. Really. "Nice too meet you, Zhenya. Well, I don't think that there are some people knew he was exist in Hogwarts." She commented about her twin brother, the one who only visible at library, Ravenclaw common room, and classes he took. Seriously.
Speaking of, her name sounded familiar. Had she heard about it before?

Zhenya's eyes widened slightly as Bianca spoke to her. Really? That was too personal? And… really? Zhenya could be a creepy stalker? But… oh, she was joking. Zhenya's face relaxed. Yeah, that was okay. She didn't mean to pry into someone else's life, but she didn't actually think that was such a personal question. Law or communication or diplomacy? Zhenya raised her eyebrows, impressed. "Wow, that's… quite impressive. I get what you mean though… I want to be a healer. I always have. My father is a healer and my Grandpapi was really into potions and herbology and actually used to teach me potions to brew for healing. He used to brew all the potions to help my babushka with her various illnesses. But… well, the more I think about it, the more I realise I want some experience before I become a healer. You know, like… further studies in potions or herbology. Something in the Magical Law Enforcement. Anything… get myself out there and experienced before I settle down." Well, it made sense to her. "Wow, now I feel like a chatterbox," she joked. "So… your accent? Where… where are you from?" asked the Russian girl, her own accent still quite noticeable.

It was no surprise that AJ was lagging behind. Promptness was not her thing, and she had always struggled getting to class on time. Some things just didn't change. One minute she was with her family, and the next, Angel was gone. AJ had actually ran into a familiar face at the train station and the next thing she knew, she was left. No matter. AJ was independent and this would be her third time going through the wall so it wasn't as if she needed anybody to hold her hand.
Without further ado, AJ pushed pushed herself and her trunk through the wall. Seconds later she could see the all too familiar steam of the train. AH, it was time for another year at Hogwarts which meant that she would be able to see her friends and boyfriend.
Now all she had to do was to find the gang. They were all most likely here by now and surely they were all together. The third year started to walk and before long she saw some luscious locks that could only belong to one person. Adi. Off to the side was her sister and Benny. It didn't take long to find the group at all.
A smile started to spread across her face, and she took off with her trunk rolling behind her. "Adiiiii," she half screamed/sang as she wrapped her arms around him to give him a nice big hug. She didn't want to let go, but she knew she had to. Once she pried herself off of her man she turned to the others. "Hey Benny... sis."

Adi knew that since Angel was here, AJ wouldn't be far off but as usual she was running late. Having just released Angel, he was rewarded for his patience when he heard that voice he knew soooo well and the next thing he knew were AJ's arms around him.
"AJ!'' Adi replied, feeling super happy now and as he looked at her, his eyes lit up as they always did whenever they found found her. He squished her back before teasingly saying, "I was beginning to think you forgot about me.'' He raised her right hand and brushed his lips against it. Benny, AJ and Angel together with him again. It was amazing what seeing Adi could do for her mood. She was so in love with the boy man standing before her. She was aware that there were so many people milling all around them, but for the moment, all she saw was Adi. AJ caught herself looking at him often. It was as if she was a bug, and he was a bright light. They had managed to hang out together over the summer, but truthfully it just wasn't enough time. That would all be changing now that Hogwarts was starting up again.
AJ beamed up at the boyfriend, as she ruffled his hair. Who could forget this hair?" she teased. But seriously, who could forget that? Butterflies fluttered around in her stomach at his kiss. She really hoped this over the moon feeling never went away. "Sooo... how does it feel to be a big bad fifth year?" AJ was feeling pretty awesome about being a third year. She was definitely not the baby of Hogwarts anymore, nope!

A Healer? Wow, that was tough and hard. She's gonna need good grades on OWLs, determination, hardworking, dedication and it wasn't easy to be a healer. That's what she heard from her mother, whom one of her sister worked as a healer. Bianca had never thought to be a healer, her potions grade was exceed expectation but herbology? She almost didn't pass. She just.. didn't have a talent with nature stuffs like herbology and care of magical creatures.
But Zhenya seemed have a talent to be a healer. According to what she just said, she was a very determined and hardworking person. You go, girl!
"Well, good luck for that." She said. "Bet that your OWLs are full with O and E grades." Usually the ones who aspired to be a healer had a very good grades since the standard requirement was very high. But not all the students with good grades wanted to be a healer. Bryan for example, he seemed not interested for being a healer though his grades were awesome.
What's wrong with her accent? Oh snap, sometimes Bianca didn't realize that the Canadian accent came from her mouth. "Oh, I'm from Canada. I was born and now reside there. I've tried not to use the accent since I used to live here and in Salem before but... still sometimes it comes out again." She explained.
Speaking of... "Are you okay? You seemed a little bit pale."

Angel looked at her sister as she joined the gang. "SIS!!!" Angel was glad her sister had turned up now though she had to think about a few things. "I am looking forwards to being a third year." Angel giggled, she seriously couldn't wait for it to begin. "You ready to be a fifth year?"
Angel then decided that it was Benny's turn to get her attention, she had missed him like crazy these past few weeks. "Hey Benny, prepare to have a passenger." Angel ran over to him and then gave him a hug. "I've missed you loads you know." Angel really had. "You did receive my owls this summer right?" Angel just wanted to make sure, she had a feeling he would have.
Angel then smirked at her sister. "Can you believe we are third years already, time is flying." Angel loved how she was getting older but it meant less time with Benny soon, because he would be busy with his OWL exams.

And just who was that, talking all funny? The fifth year turned his head to the source. "Angelfish!'' Happy to see the younger girl, Adi jumped up from the trunk and gave the little sister a hug. "Hello. How's it going? Ready to be a third year?'' Questions were Adi's thing. Mhmmm.

Was it him or was Adi out of it suddenly? Or maybe rather distracted given the absence of a certain someone from their circle of friends? Benny settled on accepting the latter opyion, nodding as the Hufflepuff talked of the creatures catching up. "Yep, I suppose the do," he replied, the owl and toad already making seemingly random noises beside him once he had placed Gus with his pal.
Ah there was the fourth amigo, AJ clearly happy to see them, or rather mostly Adi with the added benefit of him and Angel. Not that Benny was about to begrudge his bestie the attention of his own girlfriend. Or run the risk of having it thought that he felt he couldn't share the Hufflepuff with his other best friend. And Adi in returned perked up a bit at her arrival. "Hey AJ," he greeted once the younger Gryffindor had pulled herself away from Adi and turned her attention to the rest of the group.
However his own attention was pulled away as Angel dropped her earlier behavior and went playful. Ben hadn't known what exactly what she meant until she launched herself into another hug like his birthday. The fifth year moving his own arms to return the gesture and catch her. "I know...and I you," he admitted half-sheepishly. "Uh huh...every one of them I believe," he confirmed with a nod. A few receiving return messages in kind to show they weren't one-sided.
Paige smiled and tucked some stray curls behind her ear. She could just imagine having a box, charmed by an older student with an extension charm, full of just letters from Thornton. Sounded quite fun, actually. Minus him not being at the school. That was far from fun. "Maybe we could still write to each other. Try to figure out the spells used in the Ministry. My step dad has told me about Ministry memos. Could be fun. And easier than sending messages by patronus."
Something she could not even begin to fathom doing yet.
WRITING! That reminded her...and it wasn't that she was ignoring his question - far from it - but she was caught up in the moment and did not want to forgot a very VERY important request she had of her best friend. "Mmhmm," she nodded as she retrieved her yearbook and began flipping towards the back. "I'm just not sure what sort of writing yet. I enjoy reading nonfiction, but not sure I am creative enough for that sort of thing." She needed to stretch her writing a bit to figure all that out. "I..." she said triumphantly as she thrust her yearbook at him in one hand and offered him her broken phoenix feather quill with the other. "...was wondering if you would do me the honor of signing my yearbook. Right here. Next to your picture."
Thornton grinned. "That could be fun. Send letters between our common rooms." It was a far walk between Ravenclaw tower and the Hufflepuff common room. And conjuring a patronus was going to be a long, long way off. "We should... go to the library as soon as we get to school and look it up." Because getting into his trunk to check his spellbooks on the train was just... too much.
He nodded as she spoke. "If you ever want someone to read something..." He shrugged, wondering what she what she was.... oh.
"Sign it?" Thornton smiled, and took the quill from her. "I.. I can do that." Biting his lip, Thornton signed his name with a bit of a flourish, just over the corner of his picture.

"Is it only my hair you care about?" Adi asked in pretend seriousness, his expression and everything changing to match. "Maybe I should go bald.'' With another bout of seriousness, he pretended to ponder on his own suggestion. "What do you think, Benny?" he asked the other person whose opinion mattered the most to him. Hopefully his guy bestie would pick up that he was kidding around and play along.
Back to AJ. "It feels awesome! There are loads more young ones to boss around now.'' Hehe. Of course he wasn't thaaaat bossy. "And you and Angelfish are third years. You guys are getting old... and will soon be wrinkly.'' Adi grinned.
He eyed Angel. "Why are you asking her if she's ready to be a fifth year?" Was Angel loosing it now that she was back with her Benny boo? O_O
He continued to grin as he watched Angel and Benny all mushy and lovey dovey. "Aren't they cute?" he 'whispered' to AJ but loud enough for the other duo to hear.
Angel blushed. "I meant to aim that at you Adi." Angel giggled. "I was totally distracted." Angel wanted to hide her face now because Adi was totally going to tease her for that. "You going to enjoy your fifth year."
Angel decided that she would stay and cling to Benny for a few more moments she had totally missed him like crazy. "I hope that you did, because I sent you some treats in one and some photo's in another." Angel giggled as she continued to hug him. "I have something for you later." Angel winked, she had brought him a present.

Zhenya let out a breathy laugh, "Thanks. I still… haven't got my results back." That was odd, right? She just REALLY wanted to know what her grades were. But still… oddly enough she wasn't anxious about it.
*GULP*
Canada? She was from… Canada? But… no, Canada as huge! No way. But… she was a witch. No, couldn't be. Not… no. Absolutely not.
Zhenya smiled, "Oh yes, yes I'm perfect!" She reached for her water and guzzled half the bottle before taking a big breath in and letting it all go. "No, I just sometimes have these… dizzy spells is all." Saved?

"Yeah, but it's way more cool in person than in pictures." He thought so, at least. Pictures were kinda lame really. They almost never seemed to really capture the awesomeness of whatever they were picturing. Although those magical moving pictures WERE pretty cool. He did like those.

She nodded enthusiastically and clapped her hands together. "A much better topic of research than snogging," she nodded. This really was going to be a fantastic term! How many other second years would be able to send their own paper memos like adults did?! She couldn't think of any off the top of her head. Yes, this was going to be a year of magical advancement! Thornton with paper memos and Penelope with inventing polka dot ink.
Blinking as she held the yearbook, she cocked her head to the side at the sentence he did not finish. Should he ask him to? It was terrible not to finish a thought - or so she always felt. "You have a nice signature," she noted while waving her hand over the fresh ink to make sure that it dried before she closed the book.

After saying goodbye to his family and running through the barrier, fifth year Hufflepuff Dylan Callaghan smiled at the sight of all the fellow Hogwarts students bustling about the platform. Summer had felt so long and he really had missed Hogwarts and all the people at it. He parked his trolley next to a wall and leaned against it, scanning the crowd of people for someone to talk to.

They knew who was new and who wasn't. Maybe it was because they spent so much time in close proximity with each other, they knew if someone new was added. Still, they didn't all know everyone. "Not really," she decided to say to the girl. "A little. You don't look as confident as the others I guess. And I haven't seen you around before." As she said it she glanced around at their fellow students, loading their stuff and greeting old friends. They knew exactly what they were doing because they'd done it so many times.
"First year?" She couldn't possibly be older than that, but Hayden didn't want to assume. She shook her head at the girl's question. "Nope, I'll be a third year this year. I'm Hayden Malone and I'm a Hufflepuff." Obviously if this girl was a first year she wouldn't have a house, but it had just seemed like the proper way for Hayden to introduce herself.
It suddenly crossed Kate's mind that this girl probably figured out she was new, since she had never seen her around the castle before. What an obvious thing for a hopeful Ravenclaw to suddenly realize. Maybe she wasn't Ravenclaw material, after all. Maybe because she wasn't shy at all, she'd be a Gryffindor like her dad. Kate didn't really want to be a Gryffindor, though, but she'd try not to be too disappointed if that was what the sorting hat decided.
Kate perked up at the girl's answer. "Oh, good! I was hoping I didn't show too much confidence. I'll be sort of disappointed if I get into Gryffindor. My dad was a Gryffindor, but I don't think I'd make a very good one." That kind of boosted her confidence about Ravenclaw. Kate followed the girl's gaze to the many people standing around. She didn't know if the girl was looking for someone, or if she was just making an observation.
"First year," Kate said with a nod. She was suddenly glad this girl was a Hufflepuff. Kate had just point blank admitted she didn't want to be sorted into Gryffindor, so she doubted she'd make a friend in Hayden had that been the girl's house. "I'm Kate Addison." She looked around the station and added, "So how long's this train ride?"
She nodded enthusiastically and clapped her hands together. "A much better topic of research than snogging," she nodded. This really was going to be a fantastic term! Thornton had a brief moment of anxiety when Paige said the word snogging. It probably wouldn't have if Dot hadn't brought it up at the barrier. But Paige moved on without further comment, and so Thornton relaxed and simply nodded at her. Paige didn't want to snog him, he was pretty sure. But it still made him weirdly uncomfortable.
He smiled at her. "Thanks. I was made to practice it." Mixed in to all his lessons had been penmanship, which had included his signature. But why was her head cocked to the side like that? He squinted at her a moment... "What are you thinking?"

Hayden smiled a little at that. It wasn't too often someone was glad they didn't look too confident. It was especially amusing because her reason was that she didn't want to get sorted into Gryffindor. "I'm sure you'd be great in whatever house you get." But she knew that if Kate really didn't want Gryffindor, the hat wouldn't place her there. "Did your mom go to Hogwarts too?" Hayden wouldn't usually have asked a question like that as soon as she met someone, but Kate had mentioned her dad. It seemed like a nice way to ask about the girl's blood status. Not that Hayden really cared, she was just curious.
"It's nice to meet you Kate," Hayden said with a smile. She liked meeting new people and making new friends. "It's pretty long - about six or seven hours I've never kept track exactly. It'll be dark when we get to Hogwarts. Don't worry though, it never seems like such a long ride." There was a lot to do: meeting new people and catching up with friends you hadn't seen all summer. Hayden had never felt like the ride lasted an eternity, though sometimes it felt long because she was so excited to get to the castle.

He smiled at her. "Thanks. I was made to practice it." Mixed in to all his lessons had been penmanship, which had included his signature. But why was her head cocked to the side like that? He squinted at her a moment... "What are you thinking?"
Ceasing her fanning, she gingerly placed a finger on his signature and lifted it up to check that the ink was in fact dry. "Made to practice it?" she asked while examining her ink stain free finger. "That kind of sounds like fun and much more practical than practicing writing the alphabet in your signature handwriting. I should do that instead." And then perfect a Banishing Spell so she could just banish her own writing from the page rather than wasting entire journals on practicing her handwriting.
Closing her yearbook and tucking it back in her backpack, she bit down on her lower lip and chewed on it for a moment. "Oh, I was just wondering what the rest of your thought was before. When you were talking about someone wanting to read," she nodded, tucking a curl behind her ear.

She actually asked to bring the baby, was she sick? He eyed her a bit and then laughed, "Newbie, you'll learn." That had to be what it was. Why would anyone want crying babies on the platform with them. His sisters were enough to drive him nuts as babies. Alana only new how to cry.
BAHAHAHAHAHA
He laughed hard at the thought of Lux trying to get Bay on the train. "You know you are going to have to deal with her all pouting and crying on the train if he did come." He wasn't going anywhere near that. He'd find Chance and hide out with him for awhile. Girls crying was something he did not deal with. It was weird and awkward and didn't they know they shouldn't do it in front of the guys.
He sighed at her words, "I hate going back, I want to stay playing. It was great." He had an awesome summer with practices and just flying. Did they really have to go back to that school, that school that didn't have quidditch. UGH.. "Maybe they will give us a huge surprise at the feast! Maybe this will be the term!" His dream of Captain one day still in his mind. It could happen, it had to happen!
After saying goodbye to his family and running through the barrier, fifth year Hufflepuff Dylan Callaghan smiled at the sight of all the fellow Hogwarts students bustling about the platform. Was it really time to go back already? Brynn had a great summer and it had gone too fast. She wasn't sure she was ready to go back but at lease she had talked her mother into letting her take her cello back with her this term. She attributed that to a combination of the awesome music camp she had just returned from and the younger Ravenclaw that also played cello. This would be much better than having to rely on the Room of Requirement. It was just too bad they didn't have any sort of music club or lessons there. But she figured she'd make do on her own.
Her cello in its case strapped onto her trunk, the 14 year old lugged it all through the barrier as she stepped onto the platform. It was nice that her mother was allowing her a little more freedom as she was able to get onto the platform alone after saying goodbye to her mom and before crossing the barrier. But this stuff was heavy. The diminutive redhead paused for a moment to take a breath, next to a boy with hair as long as hers. Had she seen him before? Brynn gave him a glance and an acknowledging smile, not remembering him from class but assuming he went to Hogwarts. Why else would he be here? She added a "hello" just to be polite.
