Madame Puddifoot's is a quiet tea shop where you can meet up with your friends.
The tea shop is laid out in a typical English tea room fashion. Lace doilies cover each table on top of the flower patterned table cloths. In the middle of each is a small container with a tea light candle, ready to be lit for those on a romantic retreat. The windows are half covered by fancy net curtains, leaving just enough room at the top to see over and down Hogsmeade's High Street. Little flower and heart covered cushions are on each seat awaiting your arrival.
Sapphira Puddifoot keeps the shop this way because she has to. But she has no desire to look upon all the fancy decorations herself, which is why you'll most likely find her in the back room. She'll come and serve you, but make sure you know what you want to order as she doesn't have all day.

Seeing Leo her smile grew even bigger and her heart leaped from missing him. Giving him a quick kiss back as he leaned she breathed in his cologne. "Hello there, having a good day so far?" She always worried with him at Hogwarts. You just never knew what would be going on. She had already heard about the Hag from him and it irritated her that the person to take over her position was such a horrid creature.
Smiling as he kissed their son she adjusted Jackson to lay against her so he could see his daddy. "I think he loves the colours in here. His eyes have been wide since we walked in. His simulation is going to be on overdrive today." Which always meant he would either sleep very good or be very cranky if he was over simulated. [b] "He rolled over on his own yesterday. He'd getting to be such a big boy already. She kissed his head as well, "Do you want to go to daddy, I bet he misses you." She lifted him and handed him over to Leo.
"No we haven't ordered at all I was waiting on you."
To see Cassie and Jackson only made Leo aware how much he missed them when they couldn't be with him at Hogwarts. He just had to make the most of his day with them. Nodding Leo responded lovingly. "Yes, an okay day. No troubles. Just very excited students, eager to get down to Hogsmeade."
Reaching out to pat Cassie on the arm he continued smiling warmly. "Seeing you two and spending most of the day with you and Jackson will make it the best day this week. So how have you two today?" Otherwise the days looked pretty similar unless someone caused unexpected trouble in Ravenclaw Tower for instance.
Gazing down at Jackson as Cassie commented about him liking the colours in the tea shop and how his son had managed to roll over on his own the day before Leo could just beam fondly. "Well isn't he a fast learner. Sounds like he inherited that from me. My mother always said I learned how to roll and such faster than my sisters did."
Placing his son on his lap after giving him a hug Leo glanced over at Cassie. "Look at the menu. Tea and scones sounds good or do you want something else?"

"I was thinking, maybe we should try to buy a house. Have something bigger and a yard for Jackson, what do you think? Maybe after the wedding this summer?"
Smiles as her two favorite guys were together, Cassie took out the menu "Tea and Scones sound perfect for me."

At Hady's voice Lux looked away from the menu. Good thing too because she was being pulled into a hug. "Hey!" she exclaimed as she happily returned the gesture. It was always amazing to see one of her best friends and her adopted sister.
BEAM. "I am so glad to see you!" It had been a little while though of course there were letters. At least Hogsmeade gave her the chance to see all her Hogwarts friends. She missed them all so much when they were away at school but at least she kept in touch with them. "So what have you been up to today? Have you seen Adi yet?" He had to be around here somewhere but she hadn't seen him anywhere. He'd probably find her later and tease her about her eating habits and Teddy's non-existent crush. That seemed to be his job to give her a hard time but she really didn't mind it in the least because that was part of their friendship dynamic.
Hady beamed up at Lux happily as she hugged her tightly for a moment longer before letting the girl go. Pulling out the chair across from her she sat herself down and unbuttoning her coat. It was much warmer inside here then it had been outside.
"I'm glad to see you too, it's much to long between holidays!" Seriously as much as she loved Hogwarts at times it was hard. There were only so many holidays that you went home for or got a chance to see your other friends outside of the school grounds. "Just doing some shopping and yeah I just saw him and Benny at The Three Broomsticks a little while ago." Along with Ilia, Henric and Ava too! "So how are you? What's Uni like?" Cue big happy grin and complete interest in the big sisters life. "Oh and things with you and the boyfriend?" She needed to know everything!

Switching Jackson's position on his lap Leo glanced sideways at Cassie. "Yes the hag was pretty scary, and horrendous." Unsure just who could be listening in, he said in a quieter tone. "The hag left into the Forbidden Forest and off school property, after she had a sham of a divination lesson where her only wish was to stew and eat students. Meredith and the new CoMC and Charms professor's managed to put her on the run. All the students miss you." The meal times in the Great Hall with the hag up on the dais were thankfully over. Leo had felt too on edge to be able to enjoy the food served.
"I'm glad you two are having a lovely day and that it fit that you could come and see me. Are you going to pop into Gladrags and look for new clothes?" Leo asked curiously. "Have you heard anything from Nessa or Javy? How they are and so on?" He had had only so much time for personal correspondence lately. The library was getting busier and busier as usual.
Then next thing that came out of Cassie's mouth caught Leo totally off guard. Watering his lips he said honestly. "Maybe, I haven't considered it. A house with a yard sounds lovely though, but where? Here in Hogsmeade or somewhere closer to our parents?" Could they get through the wedding first?
Stopping a waitress Leo ordered scones, tea and fruit juice for the three of them before he turned his attention to Cassie again. "How come you started thinking about houses now?"

She smiled as he said about her day, but her smile turned more curious about the clothes, he always seemed so about her buying new clothes. "Don't worry I will get my share of shopping done." Grinning she giggled a bit, please Cassie out near shops and not buying anything. "I am meeting Nessa in a bit, I was kind of hoping you could take Jackson for a little while so I could get my hair done." He wouldn't mind would he?

Shaking his head, Leo quickly reassured her. "No students were badly hurt. All the magic the hag had cast on them could easily be reversed and the boy that had been thrown into the pot was lifted out of it before he had even gotten a small burn." He chose to leave out the fact that the boy who almost got stewed belonged to Cassie's old house; Hufflepuff. It'd only make her worry more.
Shrugging Leo said, leaning sideways to give Cassie a quick hug "I don't know, but I doubt the hag will come back. We patrol the grounds every day and we have seen no sign of her since she left that 'lesson'." Pausing to shift Jackson's position since he was pulling at his daddy's jacket, he said after giving his son a loving gaze. "The age line is still intact and we are working hard on doubling security with the prefects help so you don't need to worry about us." Leo knew full well that Cassie would still worry and use her seer abilities to look for danger to come. It was just what she did and he loved her big heart.
Smiling warmly, as he heard about Cassie's plans with Nessa, he said "Of course, I'll take Jackson. We'll go visit honeydukes together and see if they have anything yummy we can feast on later. Got any candy requests?" Leo wasn't going to buy any candy that could potentially be a risk for Jackson's health.
This was going too fast for Leo. One minute Cassie was talking about buying a house and the next she was talking about kids in plural. Meaning she wanted more than one. What happened to taking one thing at a time? He was relieved that their order of tea and scones was delivered by a waitress at that moment. It bought him some time to think.
Turning his gaze to Cassie after drinking some tea Leo tried his best put words to his thoughts, a small smile pursing his lips as he did so. "I want us to get a house I really do. I want us to go on house tours and look at good neighbourhoods for our children to grow up in, but I didn't think we'd do it right now when we're planning a wedding, I'm away at Hogwarts, and your running the psychic shop and taking care of Jackson. I don't want to stress you out." The last thing Leo wanted. He worried for Cassie's well being when he couldn't be there.

Brow raise. "What might you be doing? Working?" Nothing wrong with working so long as it was doing something enjoyable and there was enough time for a personal life. Lux never wanted to end up as one of those people who worked non-stop and didn't have a personal life. "Well, I really hope that you can!" No need to ask to be informed because she knew that Hady would do that. "I really can never have too many clothes. I just use the extension charm on everything." Giggle. It was such a lifesaver.
Snort. Wasn't that the truth. "Besides Fifth Year all of my terms there have been crazy. And of course I was missing Bay like crazy then." Those two terms had been brutal for her but things were much better now. "How is the training going? I've always wondered how the process works." It was very interesting though she wasn't sure about becoming one. Maybe at some point but for now she wanted to focus on graduating from university. "That's wonderful!" Lux was really happy for her friend. "He's in Gryffindor, right? So was Bay and he was Prefect during his last term. Not only did he deserve it but I think it was something he got for almost dying." She shook her head. He deserved more after they put him in danger but he liked having adventures just like she did.

Brow raise. "What might you be doing? Working?" Nothing wrong with working so long as it was doing something enjoyable and there was enough time for a personal life. Lux never wanted to end up as one of those people who worked non-stop and didn't have a personal life. "Well, I really hope that you can!" No need to ask to be informed because she knew that Hady would do that. "I really can never have too many clothes. I just use the extension charm on everything." Giggle. It was such a lifesaver.
Snort. Wasn't that the truth. "Besides Fifth Year all of my terms there have been crazy. And of course I was missing Bay like crazy then." Those two terms had been brutal for her but things were much better now. "How is the training going? I've always wondered how the process works." It was very interesting though she wasn't sure about becoming one. Maybe at some point but for now she wanted to focus on graduating from university. "That's wonderful!" Lux was really happy for her friend. "He's in Gryffindor, right? So was Bay and he was Prefect during his last term. Not only did he deserve it but I think it was something he got for almost dying." She shook her head. He deserved more after they put him in danger but he liked having adventures just like she did.
"I haven't fully decided yet but Professor Draper was nice enough to get me a possible internships that I can apply for. One is in Ireland though." Very exciting but also a possible hinderance in seeing everyone this summer. Smiling at Lux she couldn't help but laugh. "Clothes are nice." Mhmm she had gotten more into shopping recently, though she still did like her sweats and hoodies.
"At least you had one semi calm year!" Laugh. "It's going good. I get to spend a ton of time with Frankie since he's training as well." Quality time together and accomplishing a goal. Two birds with one stone. Bay was a Gryffie prefect too? She couldn't really remember it was awhile ago. "Nice! Hopefully him being harmed wasn't the only reason!"

Professor Draper? Lux couldn't remember if Hady had previously mentioned him in passing or not. A moment later it dawned on her that he must have been Professor Thompson's replacement since Hady was interested in working with Magical Creatures. "Oh, that sounds wonderful! I really hope you get it. What would you be doing for this internship?" As long as it wasn't working with dragons everything would be okay; it was bad enough worrying about Kace. Clothes WERE nice - a lot nicer than thinking about friends getting burned to a crisp. "Well, I'm sure we can go shopping as soon as we have a chance to. It's just not the same going with boys." "One is shadowing a vet at a privately owned animal hospital and the other would be helping out at an animal rescue in Ireland." That was the one she really wanted to do. Working with creatures she probably wouldn't get to see often.

Hady laughed softly. "We will don't worry. You'll be one of the first to know when we've mastered the transformation." It was still probably some time away but they were getting closer with each day. Bay was her boyfriend she had ever right to be biased on the matter! Hady was sure if it was the other way around she would feel the same about her guy. "I don't blame you for feeling that way."

Both options sounded pretty amazing to Lux and she knew that whichever one she ended up doing, Hady was going to rock at. "Wow, that's incredible! I can't believe you are already going through the process of interning." Her friend was growing up so fast; they all were, really. She herself was in University. "Thanks Lux." A lot of her accomplishments were due to all her friends who had stood by her. Like the tips she had been given in casting her patronus. She hadn't forgotten that. Hady laughed nodding her head. "Of course, if we don't who will?" Plus in her eyes the boyfriend was something really special.

Well, it wasn't like this was his first ever visit to Hogsmeade, but y'know, just for the effect. He wasn't going to lie, he did miss walking to the castle from this town, but he currently liked walking back to his home more. And anyway, half of his graduates were studying something to do with potions at the university, so it wasn't a real goodbye. Just... felt so.
He carefully studied the street. It hadn't even been a full year since he quit, but everything felt different. As if the students were complete strangers, and he didn't like that feeling. But, it didn't matter much. He had a date with his wife at Puddifoot's for some nostalgia. At least Puddifoot hadn't changed.
Hopefully, some old student wouldn't come bother them.
Could he... still issue detention if he caught them kissing?
"It's been quite a while since we had a date, just the two of us," he said to Vic while they walked down the street, "I missed this." He smiled, and held the door open for her.

Walking hand and hand with her husband, Victoria smiled as they walked the streets of Hogsmeade. She was glad for the changes. Not having children or Cossy at that school was the best feeling. She didn't trust anyone that ran it nor thought it was safe.
As he held the door, Vic smiled and leaned in to kiss him. "It really has. With all the kids and work has been crazy, I'm sorry I've been neglecting us time." It had been her fault, with the junior games coming and her father going ill, she had been a bit distracted.
Finding them a table in the corner she sat down. "I don't think I've even been able to ask you how work has been going lately." She had been neglecting her husband and that was going to change. "Once the junior games are over, what would you say to a nice vacation? " Getting away sounded like the perfect idea.

Anyway, he waved at Hady and Lux (who was his student at the university anyway, so he saw no need to go talk to them specifically, but they were welcome to join their table), then sat down across her.

So that it'd be hotter and all. Besides, they could really do with a scenery change. "And, y'can guess, as the end of the term comes nearer, the students get more anxious," he said, "rushing to finish their projects, studying for the finals to hopefully make up for their slacking off in the term... the usual." She could guess. "How are you doing?" He only followed the league, he didn't really know the backstage of the games. How was SHE doing at work? And more importantly...

Professors WERE pretty amazing. Especially Culloden because he had helped her so much, both at Hogwarts and now at University. He had really helped her to develop her love of potions and get better at the subject. "So does Professor Draper give you lots of advice?" Hopefully because it was part of his job to assist students interested in pursuing a career working with magical creatures. "Ireland seems to beautiful. I would love to go some day." Lux knew how special the place was to Hady so she really hoped that she got that internship.
It was settled that they were going shopping! SO EXCITING. "I'm just doing my job." Which was to say that she was standing by her and being encouraging when she needed to be. Adi did the exact same thing. "That's exactly it! And they are biased towards us too." Hehe. That was part of how they knew that they were special though of course there were many ways to know that.
Smiling at that thought, her attention was drawn to Professor Culloden who was waving at them. Awww, he was seated with his wife. How cute. Of COURSE he would be going there with his wife, not like they didn't have dates...
Lux was wondering if she should go over and say hi to them. Even though she saw him at school he was her favourite teacher. Maybe it wouldn't hurt to say hi... Not as if she would be holding them up forever.
"Let's say hi?" she said to Hady before getting up from her seat and wandering over. "Hello, Mr. And Mrs. Culloden." She smiled at them both.

Professor Draper. Advice. Together like that in a sentence. Well. Yes. No. Hady chewed her lip trying to find the right words for these. "Professor Draper isn't one of the friendliest of people, I think most of the students are afraid of him. I find him to be very helpful though." All in all she had nothing bad at all to say about the man. He'd only known her a short time and was already helping her a great deal. "I've been there before and would probably live there if I had the chance to." Yeah sorry everyone but she would.
"Well I'd like to hope they are at least sometimes," she laughed softly in agreement. Really who couldn't be biased when it came to herself and Lux, they were both amazing!
Seeing Lux looking across the way at another table Hady turned her head and nearly beamed at who she saw. Professor Culloden! It felt like forever since she had seen him.
"Lets," she smiled rising to her feet and following her friend. "Hello."

He was always so understanding and wonderful. She knew he wouldn't let her take all the blame, but she knew she was the majority of it. Smiling she glanced down at the menu before noticing he was waving at someone. Looking she smiled seeing one of Bart's old friends. Giving a small wave her eyes went back to the menu.
Looking back up to him she gave a smile, "Portugal sounds lovely." She could imagine them on the beach now. She was so ready for summer to be. She needed to get away and getting away with her husband sounded like the perfect plan. "I bet they are. I wonder how Cinna is doing with her first term." She was pretty much part of the family now.
She sighed a bit at his question, "Stressed, tired, worried about my dad, but I'll be alright." She knew he knew all that was going on with her father being sick, but she tried to stay strong and act like nothing was wrong most of the time. Looking down at the menu, "Just some tea and the little finger sandwiches sound good."
Decided then, they were going to Portugal! Once they went back to home, they could do the reservations and such. Ahh, just the thought of the beach and doing nothing with her was exciting. He smiled, before he returned back to reality. Cinna, right.
"I'm sure she's doing fine," he said, because he believed in the girl. But maybe a letter wouldn't hurt... he'd offer to send a letter later, for now he wanted to hear about her work life.
...and of course, her dad.
He reached for her hand and squeezed it lightly to show her he was with her. He'd already offered his help, so he didn't repeat it again. "I'm sure everything will be fine," he said with a sympathic smile. As long as they got each other, it'd be fine, right?
So, tea and the sandwiches. Okay, he'd get them in a - ah, his old and current students came to say hi, how nice of them!
"Hey girls," he said with a smile, "how are you doing? This is my wife, by the way, Vic. And these are Lux and Hady. My current and old students." Their age showed that anyway, but he still felt the need to clarify. Plus, Vic probably knew Lux? Or so he thought. He'd know if they knew each other or not, it's Deniz who can't remember for sure. She didn't know Hady, though.
"Would you like to join us? We were just about to order tea and sandwiches."
