| | |  Madam Puddifoot's Tea Shop
 Madam Puddifoot's is laid out in a typical English tea room fashion. Lace doilies cover each table on top of the flower patterned table cloths. In the middle of each is a contained candle, ready to be lit for those on a romantic retreat. The windows are half covered by fancy net curtains, leaving just enough room at the top to see over and down Hogsmeade's High Street. Little flower and heart covered cushions are on each seat awaiting your arrival.
The shopkeeper, a descendant of the original owner, keeps the shop this way because she has to. She has no desire to look upon all the fancy decorations herself, which is why you'll most likely find her in the back room. She'll come and serve you when you ring the bell on the counter, but make sure you know what you want to order as she doesn't have all day. Keep your snogging to a minimum unless you want to be kicked out.

Puddifoot’s. The one place in all of Hogsmeade that Patrick frequented every time he came down to the little village that hid behind Hogwarts. Only this time was different. He was meeting someone. WAIT. Not just a someone a girl someone. His palms were getting a bit sweaty and his heart was racing. He walked through the door knowing he was meeting her there taking a look at all of the empty seats. He wondered if he should pick a spot or go back outside and wait for her.
Thinking it over for another few second he finally decided that he was just going to pick a table and wait for her. He decided on a table that was close to the window so the natural light would shine in and he wouldn’t have to fight to hear her over the noises that were typical for running a shop. His leg bounced up and down as he waited, his hand running through his newly thick hair. He couldn’t believe this was happening. Rubbing his shoulder he waited.

Anyway, Jolie Tera Chosen had been looking forward to this date since that first little unexpected interlude with the Slytherin Captain when she'd been TRYING to enjoy her rage-against-all-boys-aesthetic but he'd gone ahead and distracted her by being a BABE and also all charming and sweet and everything else. She'd probably spent too long trying to get ready, wanting to make the perfect-yet-effortless-yet-effort-still-clear-enough-to-get-compliments impression with her outfit. It was SO inconvenient that it was winter? Ugh. Not that she couldn't look cute in winter but it just took a different mindset that was all. She'd gone with nice dark jeans tucked into brown leather boots, her favourite white fuzzy sweater, and a red coat, with a snuggly black scarf tucked around her neck. She was feeling very on-theme for Valentines, all in all.
She spotted Patrick in the window as she approached, and smiled in approval. Yay! Everyone walking past would see them! She opened the door and the little bell tinkled to announce her arrival. Jolie hung her coat and scarf up on the coat rack and then headed over to the table.
"Hey you. Not waiting too long I hope?" Actually... actually a little waiting probably would have done him good, but Jolie was too eager for this date and so the fourth year was right on time.

Patrick finished rolling the sleeves of his plaid flannel shirt up as he waited for Jolie. Just as he was about to start bouncing his knee again he noticed her through the window. Wow was she pretty. She looked absolutely amazing. He had noticed her around and she looked great in the common room when she was angry over boys, but today wowzers.
His eyes tracked her movements into the room. Standing up as she got to the table he smiled his lopsided grin shaking his hair out of his face. He was actually on a date. His mom would be so happy. He chuckled a bit at that thought. Just as she approached he pulled out her chair. “Hey you too. I haven’t been here long. You look so pretty.” Wow. Smooth Patrick way to talk to a girl. he thought as he tried to calm his nerves.

Um brownie points? Definitely! Jolie liked being called pretty. AND that he stood up? AND that he pulled her chair out? Anyway, were people seeing this yet? Looking through the window, casually walking past, but seeing that Jolie Chosen was definitely absolutely on a date with Patrick Dooley and they should definitely absolutely be jealous and/or envious?

Patrick was really hoping that today's date wouldn't make him the target of a disagreement between him and Beau. He would hate that. Beau was a cool dude but man did he overreact.
He noticed that she was looking at the window, he hoped the spot that he had picked was okay with her. He was really glad that he had gotten the courage to ask her out. He was so surprised he had actually done it.
He smiled at her comment and pushed her chair in as she scooted. He walked back to his seat just a foot away. Sitting down he heard her say that he looked great. His smiled got wider, "Thanks. How's your week been. Haven't seen much of you lately." He really hadn't but then again he had been busy with training for Quidditch. "You want anything to eat or drink?" phew he found his manners.

Jolie was honestly USED to making boys blush, it wasn't hard at all, and it made her feel powerful most of the time, but this time she was just thinking about how cute it was when Patrick was the one blushing. He didn't look like he should be capable of it, but he was sweet and sensitive and it was nice. But also, even better, he wasn't TOO sweet or TOO sensitive. She had no time for a sniveling wimpy mess after all.
"You can see me whenever you want. I'm easy to find if you're looking." And he was welcome to look. Maybe they could meet up regularly and study or something. Though she'd not got a lot of that done the last time she'd tried to and he'd been around....
Jolie glared daggers at Skyler when she waved at Patrick. COULDN'T SHE SEE HE WAS ON A DATE? WITH HER, JOLIE CHOSEN? But she was soon smiling again and ignoring the other girl because Patrick's eyes were on her and she was SO PLEASED he wasn't allowing himself to be distracted. More brownie points. Or Jolie points. Because those were better.
"Oooh. Mmm...." Jolie looked at the menu. "Maybe we could get... a cheesecake? Or a banana split or an ice cream sundae?" Not that she'd eat a lot of any of the above, but a taste or three, for sure.

HER FIRST HOGSMEADE VISIT!
Becky Rasting could hardly contain herself getting ready that morning and had been humming so loudly in her room that it was a wonder the entire Hufflepuff common room hadn't heard her. Though, by now, they ought to be accustomed to her musical habits - and yes, she could carry a tune so it was a pleasant...if not a little annoying at times...experience. The walk down had been more of a skip than a walk and her hand had been held by her brother's...but the moment her pink booted feet had struck Hogsmeade's cobbled streets, she had vanished into the fray of excited first years and completely split off from the Slytherin. BUT NOT TO WORRY! She had promised to meet back at the quill shop...place...whatever its name was so they could walk back to the castle together.
Naturally, the brunette found herself attracted to Honeydukes first - SWEETS! - but then her eyes had fallen on a quaint little tea shop that seemed to be Juliette personified. Geeeeeently pushing open the door, she peeked inside and her already naturally wide eyes rounded even more and was accompanied by an ecstatic squeal.
"OHMYGOSHIT'SSOCUUUUUTE!"

Maxie had never seen so much pink or lace. it was everywhere, almost as if to spite you for trying to see anything else but lace and pink. shuffling his feet, the Hufflepuff gave his only friend an apologetic wince before sitting down at a small table near the back of the tea room. "W-we can l-leave if you l-like." He muttered, running his fingers through his now messy, windswept hair. He'd been the one to pick the place, wanting to sit somewhere quiet for once over the chaos and manic energy of the Three Broomsticks, and he found himself a little regretful of the choice.

Maxie wriggled, his anxious eyes sweeping the shop only to fall on a face he wasn't sure he liked. Becky Rasting was many words crammed into one single girl- Maxie didn't like words- he was justifiably afraid of them. "Don't l-l-look over there." he quickly whispered to Koalya, cupping his long, calloused hand over his long face. Hiding.

Charlie was soooo happy to be off the grounds today. She just wanted a bit of tea for the afternoon. Just a bit of quiet you know. It seemed like Hogwarts was always chaos. Which she liked don’t get her wrong, she just wanted a bit of time to observe here and there. But here lately beyond was freaking out and running around since it was nearly the holiday break. She couldn’t wait to see her siblings. Her mom had been writing about her little sibling that hasn’t made an appearance yet. But she figured they’d come along soon enough. Looking over the teas she tried to figure out what she’d get.
