It was hard not to be in a hurry, and it was hard not to miss something when she WAS in a hurry, but Dot was willing to slow down at the older girl's suggestion. It was hard to be patient and observant and all that STUFF, but Dot was a third year now and needed to learn those grown up traits.
"I haven't seen anything good yet today, except I saw a fish and chips place that looked pretty decent even if it is way too early for chips." Dot dropped to her knees and crawled under the nearest bench in search of Nimbus, but she was still talking to the girl. Dot liked having an audience. "He should come if you call. He's not a bad cat."
Oh. Abbi, was it? "I'm Dot."
Such a pity really, that she'd seen nothing good other than a fish and chips place. Poor girl, but hey Abs knew that soon enough all the eye candy in the world would be as visible as anything. Ahem. Hello Hogwartian boys..most of you anyways. It appeared somebody over here needed a good fix in her eyesight. "Have you not seen any worthy looking boys then?" Was she perhaps too young for that? Didn't look like she was, not that Abbi actually knew her age but she judged from what she saw.
Cats, yes that. The fifteen year old watched as the girl whom she now knew as Dot began crawling around the floor. A snort couldn't help but escape from her lips. Crawling..what a laugh, but in a good way. Kinda. "So let's call him then? Duh? Like wouldn't that be most sensible?" That may have been more attitude-sounding that intended but Abs couldn't help it, the attitude was within her even when she didn't mean to be rude or so.
"Dot the Eepster. Nice to meet you." That 'Eepster' bit was never going away.

Logan Mancini grunted. "Yes I can. Wanna see?" he said, slowing to a snail's pace. But two seconds later he sped back up and drew near his little sister. "But in all seriousness," he said, "you can't be saying the word Hogwarts in a Muggle place like this, you hear?" He had finished the sentence as an urgent whisper, afraid of being overheard.
But then he softened. "I just know you're going Eagle, I can feel it." He'd spent his own year at Hogwarts as a badger and rather enjoyed it. He'd gone by Pao then, short for his middle name. Lots else had changed about him besides his name, but this was no time to reminisce about the past. "But just in case you go Lion, don't anger the Snakes, alright?"
Men. They just didn't understand there was more to necessities than just clothes and school supplies. Yes she heard the grunting, but she didn't mind because hey, he was going to be ten months without her well four if you counted the week she went home for Christmas.
"Not particularly. I thought you were agile though." Tia teased, knowing full well he was lugging her bag and trunk for her. She frowned at his whispered comment and bit her lip. "Oops, I forgot. But if anyone asks, we were just talking about the warty hogs we passed."
And his next comment just made her heart swell because it meant something knowing that even he thought she was witty enough to be where their mum and grandmum were. "Thank you." She stopped walking momentarily to lean over and give him a hug. "And no need to worry about badgers, cause they're super nice even if you're not?" She smirked. Cause she was pretty sure that's how their Aunt Jo was, and well, Pao was too... Nice to everyone no matter what.

Worthy looking boys? Dot had no idea what made a boy worthy looking. Was it just GOOD looking, or was it worthy of attention, or was it... something else entirely? She tilted her head and considered carefully before answering. "Worthy... no. But pretty. Muggle ones, though, so not really going my way today." Since she was taking off for 9 months of school or whatever.
Dot stood and brushed her knees sheepishly, since she HAD just said her cat came when called and then hadn't bothered to call him. "Nimbus. C'mere like a good cat." With a foot stomp. It must have worked (somehow), since Nimbus sauntered out from behind a bench looking unconcerned and a bit proud of himself.

Sure, he was agile. Just not with a ten-ton trunk to lug around. Logan simply rolled his eyes at her comment. "Best not to forget again, or they'll cart you off to you-know-where in the middle of the Sea." He managed to playfully poke his elbow gently into her side. She would know he was joking. If it ever came to that, he would do everything in his power to keep his little sis out of that prison, even if he had to take her place himself.
He merely grunted again to say 'you're welcome.' And though he did appreciate the hug, it caught him off guard and caused him to lose his balance. THUMP. "At least it missed my toes," he said with a grimace, hefting the luggage back up from the ground. And, just to show what a nice badger he actually WAS, he said, "Want anything before we cross over? There's plenty of places to grab a bite here before you board. My treat."

"See? Oh, and nice to meet you too." MANNERS.
Worthy was pretty, most of the time unless they were extremely silly then looks were nothing. Education was what this one seemed to need and Abs knew exactly who was the professional at such. Well hello there Ruby Banner. "Do you know Ruby? She could help you with the pretty guy thing. The greatest expert I know out there."Rubes the legend. Rubes that tended to know hot guys like Pheonix who was one great kisser just by the way.
Well done, cat. The fifth year watched. "Impressive. My cat mostly ignores me. Maybe its cause I used to dress him up with fairy wings and he's probably terrified." Her beamy smile was flashed about at the thought of all those times.
"Yeah, yeah. You're what a third year? I'm sure I've seen you before?" Very familiar face for sure.
