Kita/Alec! Ok. So maybe this was the last time Tag would be coming here. Most likely yes. He never remembered ever using Kings Cross for anything un-Hogwarts related so he just stood about a bit. Hmmm. This was a strange feeling. Anyway, Tag was leaning against the wall, right by the entrance of the station waiting for Alec. Alec was supposed to meet him up here, yeah? That's what they had planned. Hopefully the brunette wouldn't take forever to get here. Or maybe, yes, take all the time Alec. Tag just kinda wanted to stay here, elongate summer for as long as he could. C'mon Alec. It wasn't that hard to find Tag. |

Despite being somewhat excited about coming here, the boy was running a little late. There were a number of reasons why, with the top one being a debate with his Dad on whether he should take mac and cheese for the blonde. He wouldn't need it, right? Probably had some sort of lunch packed, or would get lots of sweets from the train, yeah? ... Shrug. But he was here. King's Cross. And it was only as he was rushing into the busy station that he realised how... weird this was. No Hogwarts. And in its place, there would be other things like driving lessons, paying rent and, of course, Quidditch. It was just weird, yeah? Frowning to himself, the nearly nineteen year old stood off to one side of entrance. Where had he said he'd meet-- TAG! ... Must let a group of Muggles go by first... ... and then he headed over towards the Gryffindor. "Hey, Mr Seventh Year," he said, reaching over and ruffling the leprechaun's hair, "Think you're ready?" |
Quote:
AH! There he was. Ok. Yes. Hair ruffles were in order. Alec would probably miss doing that for the next couple of months.... Anyway. There he was, finally. "Thought you were going to be late." Tag said smiling a bit. No proper send off from his best friend. "Not a seventh year." Nods. "Just a really old student going to school. Graduating." That was the proper term Alec had been looking for. But, now to be sirius. "Yeah. I suppose. Kinda crept up on us, don't you think?" For both of them. Graduating. Or at least in Tag's case almost. They'd met six years ago That's what Alec meant by 'ready', right? About Hogwarts? Not actually getting onto the train. And Mr. Seventh year? "What happened to being your Sweetcheeks?" Tag much preferred that nickname than Mr. Seventh Year. |
Angel had some how gotten separated from her sisters, she was a bit upset about that but it meant she was the first one to try and find the platform she was looking for, there was 9 and there was 10 but there was no platform in the middle, maybe someone had forgotten to build it or maybe it was supposed to say platform 9 and it left at 9.45am, she looked at the board on platform 9 and say that there was no trains to going to Hogwarts but then again they wouldn't say that would they it would make the non magic folks suspicious maybe it was in code but then which train would it be. Angel was totally confused now, this was weird and without her sister there she was looking a complete weirdo with her Owl and her trunks and stuff. She was sure that if someone saw what was in her trunks she would be sent to the nearest place for loonies, though she couldn't really think about that at the minute where on earth was this train she was supposed to be getting and better still how did she get to it. |
Quote:
"I can help you find where you need to go, or at least attempt" he said for almost the second time. Looking around he was wondering if he could spot Lux, Lou or Cris or anyone he knew really. He wanted to sit with them on the train. |
SPOILER!!: Angel Third year already?! Ben could hardly believe it himself, remembering the start of Hogwarts like it was yesterday. Yet here he was, with trunk and owl heading though Kings Cross to head to Platform 9 3/4's. Thankfully Conrad was behaving and not creating a ruckus that he couldn't handle. It wasn't like he had his parents with him this time, or at least close. The Gryffindor could sense them around but they were trying to give the new teenager space. Another change. Rolling his trolley along amongst the hustle and bustle of the station he almost didn't notice the girl looking lost until he absently looked around for any familiar faces and came upon her in the process. "Um...hi," he greeted as he approached, taking the chance namely cause of the owl. Only wizards had owls in cages...right? He would have asked if she was lost but Bay had beaten him to it. Somehow he had missed the older boy's own movements in the crowd. So instead he paused frozen unsure what to say but not wanting to crowd her. |

SPOILER!!: Ben SPOILER!!: Angel He didn't spot Benny!!! he was so happy to see him "how are you mate!" he said with a big smile, then as soon as he said that this young girl called him "sir" who was she calling sir? clearing his throat he said "hmmmm… are you sure?" he didn't address the sir thing because this girl had no clue, clearly. Plus he was a little mad at the comment he just had spent his first year at Hogwarts like an old man and he didn't want to be reminded of it. Nope not at all. Standing around in this area with all his school stuff wasn't a good idea, they weren't supposed to linger around here because you know to many muggles. okay this was kind of getting awkward now, "bodyguard?" what is wrong with this girl? and then she spoke yet again, she was looking for a platform that doesn't exists. He said quietly "you looking for Hogwarts?" Looking up at Benny he hoped he would jump in more and help a bro out because this little girl seemed a bit crazy, like come on really how old did she think he was? |
SPOILER!!: Angel and Bay Okay so that hadn't been the response Benny might have thought he...or Bay for that matter would have gotten from the girl. She looked worried about the older boy like he was a danger or something. Speaking of which, Bay had noticed his arrival. "I'm alright," he answered before return to look at the younger girl. Bodyguard? Huh? Was he whose bodyguard? The only time he guarded anyone was when he tried to keep bludgers away from his teammates. "I'm not a bodyguard. I'm a student." Of Hogwarts the very school Bay had mentioned quietly. Conrad squawked making his presence known and Benjamin turned to calm his familiar. "Shuuu...its okay." The owl quieting down after resettling on his perch. "And the platform does exist," he added quietly so only the other two could hear as he turned back around to face them. You just had to know where to look for it that was all. |
Casey/Mari So this was it. This year she was going to Hogwarts. Finally. No more homeschool. No more being bored. Freedom, and fun. Friends and real professors. Not that her nana wasn't a good teacher retired primary magic teacher in fact. But she was 13 now time to learn the big stuff now. She was pushing the trolley with her trunk, stache's owl cage, and her cat who was curled up on her trunk. Her dad was somewhere behind her. The third year was way to excited to turn around to see where he was. Her mission was to find platform 9 3/4. Which was the wall between platform 9 and 10 according to her dad. Did she have everything? She should she check twice last night before she went to sleep and once before they left this morning. She stopped and turned around. Where did he go? He was right behind her. Well she would just stand here pet her new cat think of a name for it and wait for her dad to catch up. |

SPOILER!!: Ben SPOILER!!: Angel "thats good" he was glad that Benny was alright, better then the crazy girl over here at least. seeing his owl start to make some noise and Ben right away calming him down. He smiled, Ziggy was somewhere in his pile of stuff napping away in his cage. His eyes totally almost just popped out of his head. "I'm 16, you don't need to call me sir?" he said, he wasn't wearing a suit or anything he was wearing a sweater and sweat pants, how does he look like a sir. OKAY now this girl was getting crazier and crazier. "ummm no, I'm a student…..at…..Hogwarts" he said, looking over at Benny and giving her a look that said can you believe this one? ughhhhh he didn't want to look old, maybe the potion he used to cure himself hasn't fully kicked in yet. Dont' panic Bay, no need to freak out. "Maybe I should leave Ben here to help you" he said in a huff and started to turn to walk away. |

Not a Seventh Year? Erm...? Alec furrowed his eyebrows. Neither of them were old -- the grey hairs and wrinkles had long since passed -- so why was Tag denying his year? "You... you graduate in your seventh year." Obvious, he was. And confused. Shrug. And he supposed. The former Hufflepuff nodded slowly at that, understanding exactly what the boy meant. "Yeah, it did. Feels like it was just yesterday when I was tackling you by the duck pond when you first told me your name." This was why the duck pond was so special to them. Yes, that's what he meant by being ready. Ready for Hogwarts. Ready to be a seventh year. GRIN. "You'll always be my Sweetcheeks," he said, nudging the boy gently, "Even... even when we're in our fifties and you..." Think, Summers, think! "... beat me in bingo." |
He was walking to faaast! She was gonna drop her dolly if he didn't slow down! "uncle dere!" too fast! the four year old bounced behind her uncle trying to keep up. Her mother was somewhere behind them but she wanted to be with him seeing as how he was about to leave her AGAIN for goodness knows how long. "I cant!" she shouted before tripping over her own shoe as it came unclipped and was falling off her foot. her doll flew out of her hand and she landed on the ground in a THUD. her mummy was going to yell at her. this was a new dress. He was completely unaware his niece was right behind him. to his knowledge she was still back with his sister. He had his trolley thing and the time to worry about. he wanted to get to THROUGH the barrier by fifteen till so that he could load up and stuff. He also wanted to be able to sit with his niece for a few moments before going through the thing. until he heard he yell that she couldn't something.... Pulling back on the trolley he turned to see his little niece faceplanted in the floor and her doll laying a foot away from her. "Aww, 'Kayla." she was so cute. pulling back on his cart he pulled it back to where she was and helped her up. "what are you doing, crazy girl?" |
Quote:
The first lucky person was a girl who looked around her age and new. "HI!" |
Bingo XD Quote:
"Yes. I do graduate in seventh year. I'm not a seventh year." Wink. Just go with it Alec. It was probably a thing that all seventh years didn't want to recognize themselves as a seventh year. It was a hard thought. Something difficult to process. Yes, obvious Alec was obvious. "I wouldn't be surprised if that had actually happened yesterday. And if it hadn't, you imagination was probably so vivid you tricked yourself into thinking it had happened." Tag said with another smile. He could see Alec doing something like that. |
Anyone??? Arista had made her parents stay outside no way was she going to have her classmates, future friends see her mum give her a lecture about manners and her father give her a lecture about safety. She would have enough to be embarrassed about at school, like how she gave a curtsy sometimes when she introduced herself, a habit she was yet to break. But now she wished she knew how to find the platform... There was no 9 and 3/4. She casually looked around, she couldn't ask any of the muggles, they would surely think her crazy and how could she tell if they were muggles or wizards. She looked around gosh you think her magical mum would have told her how to get onto the platform. She looked around maybe someone could tell her how... |
Text Cut: Jere + 'Kayla :3 Beverly Wayne didn't exactly feel like royalty, but something close to it as she rode the trolley, shades on, and sat on her trunk as her brother pushed it. The perks of being a little sister, she took advantage of them. "I have my wand and parchment and quills and uniforms and everything else I might need," she said just as Kennedy opened his mouth to speak. They'd gone over this ever since they left home, he was just too predictable. "And--" She didn't get to finish. Right up ahead were two familiar figures, and without intending to, her eyes lit up. "Stop the trolley!" she squeaked, already hopping off of it, and almost giving her brother a mild heart attack. Trying to seem ever so casual, the now fourth year strode over, picking up the doll McKayla had dropped and approached them. "I'd say she's more adventurous," Beverly chimed in, poking Jeremiah on his side, a small grin dancing on her lips. Hi. What did she think she was doing jumping off the trolley like that?! Not that he was freaking out or anything, but she could have fallen or broken a bone. He'd be done for if she even as much got a scratch. Kids. The reckless bunch, they were. Following his sister, Kennedy wore an unimpressed look on his face when he saw who it was that had inspired her to jump off a moving trolley. The Boy. Of course, who else would it be? |
Quote:
"too fast, Uncle dere." She looked up at the gryffindor with her lip pouting and these big eyes that just made the boys heart melt and she knew it. "My Shoe!" pointing down at her barefoot she reveled to the boy that her shoe was missing at it was entirely his fault. Pouty lip still happening her mouth dropped open when she saw her dolly was GONE from where it just laid... "WHE----" Oh.. there it was.... With Beverly!!!! The pout turned to a huuuuge grin as she saw the girl "Eberly!" and she was clinging to the girls leg. she LIKED Beverly and in the four year olds mind Beverly should stay with her. yup. He felt so bad for being the reason she fell down and possibly hurt herself by th way that pouty lip looked. "I'm Sorry, Niece. i didn't know you we're right behind me. i thought you we're with mummy still." where was that sister of his? he looked behind the small blonde child for her mother when he niece shouted something then mentioned Beverly. HE smiled a bit hearing her say her name "she'd not he...." she was here... and McKayla was clinging to her and she had her doll. "She fell on her face, i'd doubt that fall under adventurous." maybe if she did it on purpose, but she didn't. It's been a whole month and some odd days since he'd seen his friend and he was excited to get to see her every day again... her brother was here too.......... meep. maybe he could Hide behind 'Kayla... if she ever unclinged herself from Beverly. She was cute enough, yeah? |
Text Cut: Walkers :3 There was a child clinging to her leg, an extremely rare sight for Beverly herself. McKayla was welcomed to do so, she's grown on the Slytherin over the summer. Patting her hair, Beverly tore her eyes from Jeremiah and glanced down at the blonde. "Hey...are you alright?" Holding the doll out to the girl, she added, "Here's you doll, keep her close, okay?" Because with the amount of people around here the thing could get trampled. Lifting her gaze towards Jeremiah, Beverly raised an eyebrow. "Of course, it does. Don't you know you fall plenty when on an adventure?" She was making that up, but it made sense in her head. What was he looking--oh, right. Her giant of a brother was here too and...he'd better not be scowling at Jeremiah! "You can at least greet him," she mumbled in Kennedy's direction. Merlin. He was SO rude. Kennedy would be lying if the little girl clinging to his sister wasn't cute. It was. Beverly was like the Wednesday Addams of the family when it came to spending time with her cousins. Either way, he couldn't help but Great, now he was being chastised by a fourteen-year-old. He was the older sibling here, okay, Beverly. But as the good brother he was, Kennedy greeted the boy. And McKayla, his eyes softening when he smiled at her. "Hey, how's it going?" There. Happy? |
Quote:
This. Was. Adorable. Jeremiah couldn't help the grin on his face as he watched his niece cling and talk to her. Good luck was needed for Ana when she had to peel her off Beverly. She was clearly mistaken though cause Jeremiah himself had been on PLENTY of adventures and had never, not once fallen, |
Text Cut: Jeremiah + 'Kayla "I saw. Good thing your uncle is here to pick you up, huh?" All smirks at Jeremiah 'cause she'd witnessed stuff that were, admittedly, cute over the summer. Oh, wait, McKayla didn't remember Kennedy? "That's my big brother," she pointed out helpfully. The baboon may seem broody and all, but she was still proud as hell to call him her brother. Oh, really? Jeremiah thought he knew all about adventures. Puh-lease! "Then it wasn't that much of a fun and challenging adventure," she countered with a raise of an eyebrow. Which soon fell back in its place when Kennedy followed Shooting him a grin, she looked back at Jeremiah. Oh. That was cool. Was the nod impressive enough for Kennedy? HMM? How could McKayla not remember him? It was like forgetting about magic, because he was just that great, you know? Oh well, children had that short memory span, right? "I visited you, remember?" Did she forget about the lollipop? What was the boy doing? Did he forget how to speak? Cocking an eyebrow, Kennedy returned that nod of his slowly. "Hey back at you." And he SAW that...this. Their little banter. Ugh. Could Beverly go back to that clingy little eight-year-old that burned cookies? |
Quote:
"i happen to be a very careful and well planned adventurer." he said eyeing her some. "you've never been on an adventure till you've been on one with me." he was pointing at himself all proud and what not. Maybe they needed to go on an adventure this summer, for a moment he wondered what Mr. Brother Meany Pants would think before he didn't care anymore. "I need to take you on an adventure this term then... a real one." clearly. heh, Beverly Adventures. ^_^ "You know him, 'Kayla." he wasn't sure why she was acting so shy.. the guy did look slightly intimidating though he'd NEVER admit that. He said Hey again and Jeremiah wasn't sure why. was he an owl or like broken record or something? "Hmm?" yeeah...what? |
Text Cut: Jere + 'Kayla Oh, really? Pursing her lips, she eyed him critically, hiding the excitement at his words. He wanted to take HER on an adventure. Too bad he had that nasty past with dragons or they could have added that to their list...because now there was a list. "Adventure challenge accepted." Sticking her hand out for him to shake as sealing the deal, she added, "You've never been on an adventure with a Wayne." And this was an INCREDIBLE offer. Could it be summer again. Now. Soon. Unfortunately, it seemed Kennedy had scared McKayla. Beverly scowled at him. Was being grumpy really necessary? He wasn't normally like this. And he needed to fix THIS. Wait! What?! No! He hadn't meant to scare the child. Kennedy wasn't scary, he knew that. It was a proven fact. His godson liked him loads, even more so than his own father. Surely he wasn't scary (just intentionally to the boy). Overhearing their little adventure planning, Kennedy had to keep himself from taking Beverly back home. No. Just no. What this adventure time with a BOY. A Gryffindor of all people! His best mate is a former lion, and he knew the trouble he got himself in. There was no way Bev was getting herself involved in one of those. The mere thought sent chills down his back. Bad sign right there. "Before you plan you gotta first ask Father." And the award for Cute Moment Ruiner goes to Kennedy Escalante! Ha. Take that, Beverly and Je-re-miah! Who cares about them. McKayla was intimidated(?) by him. Crouching down and resting his arms on his knees, he smiled a gentle smile at the girl. "I'm sorry if I scared you." Big brother business was messy. |
^_^ SPOILER!!: Arista Leah jostled past the huge crowd in Kings Cross. She had just arrived by floo on time, not like last year when everything was a mess and ended up with her arriving late on the platform. Now the second-year stood in front of the barrier between two muggle platforms and stared at it. She could do this, she did it last time. Oh, one more check before she entered platform 9 and 3/4. Luggage, check. Kneazle carrier, check. Leah had a curtain-like fabric over the carrier so that muggles would not get scared by Filomena her kneazle, though she was not at all intimidating. Owl cage. Wait, owl cage? "Dang it! I forgot my owl!" Leah said a bit too loudly, stomping her foot angrily on the ground. There was a young girl who looked lost nearby, but no other particular attentive person. She wondered if the girl was magical or not. If not, Leah would be considered a psycho who keeps an owl. |
