SPOILER!!: Angel and Bay Now Bay was a muggle policeman? Benny was becoming even more confused and it seemed Bay thought the girl was downright crazy. Maybe she was...maybe she wasn't. Maybe she was just lost and confused like he originally thought and her words were her defense to the confusion. His own head was hurting a little though so maybe it was best they try to move on to better stuff. Like at least she trusted him and believed he was a student. That was one plus. "Uh huh, I do," he answered to her whisper, aware of how to get to the right tracks to get to the Express and let the train do the rest. It was, after all, where he himself was heading. "Sure...I can lead you," he answered. With or without Bay, that was up to the older boy. "Though he have to head to a less crowded section." Away from too many muggles. |

O_____________o Angel blushed she was sad now, she had been sure he was in his early twenties at the least. "I'm so sorry." Angel sighed, this was bad and Angel didn't want to get killed by the kid for thinking he was an old man, well it wasn't her fault he looked like one. "I didn't mean to offend you." Quote:
"So how do I get onto the platform?" Angel whispered to the kid, "I really, really, really want to go there now." Angel hoped the guy would show her like right now, she had totally forgot about the guy she had offended because she was like wondering why she couldn't take her eyes of this guy. |
Anyone? :D Something was different this term... Something that was pretty hard to miss... something that was perched in view on his very chest. Could ya see it? THAT'S RIGHT, BABY. Theodore Kinsley was And boy, was he proud about it! The seventeen-year-old strutted down Kings Cross as if he was patrolling it already or something. He was by himself of course, because please, Theodore Kinsley didn't need adult supervision anymore. He'd kissed his parents goodbye at home and had told them to stay right there. Before making his way to the wall, Theodore decided to linger around the station just to make sure everything was in order. Head Boy duties and all. |

Alec... didn't understand. Tag was graduating. Tag was a seventh year. And yet... the boy was saying that he wasn't? Yeah... confused Summers. But as always with conversations with Tageth, he knew that he just had to go along with what the boy was saying. It was how they got talking about leprechaun dancing and leprechaun schools. "Okay so... you're not a seventh year. Just a graduating Gryffindor?" Going along, he was. The grin on the former Hufflepuff's face widened when he heard what Tag had to say. "You're a very wise leprechaun, you know" He... wasn't being mocked, right? "Would it be bad if I had tricked myself into thinking it had happened yesterday?" More grinning happened when Tag started laughing. It was a good feeling, yeah? Making your best friend laugh. Or making anyone laugh. "Yeah... and waving our walking sticks in the air in victory," GRIN. Exploding snaps? And too dangerous? "No... not too dangerous. Unless there's the danger of me beating you." Joking, he was. And no, don't think about old age. Or grey hairs. |
anyone? Abby was scared she was at Kings Cross having already said goodbye to her parents and she seemed to have got seperated from Angel and Aubrey and she had no clue as to where she was to go to get the train to school or even how to get onto the platform it said on her ticket |

Theodore Kinsley was lingering. Of course, Tobias now knew the Slytherin prefect type person as his fellow Quidditch player from over the summer. SURE, they'd never had what you could call a conversation per se, but Toby figured that was of zero consequence. Obviously, they were buddies now. And that was why he stopped halfway across the square, right by Theodore, and looked up at him. Crikey, he was, errr... a lot taller than he seemed when they were all up in the air on broomsticks. BUT FRIENDSHIP KNEW NO HEIGHT RESTRICTION. "'Sup Theo!" Toby greeted the older lad in his usual chipper tone, giving him The Nod as he reached into his bag and pulled out a bag of sweets. "Remember me?" As he chucked a caramel candy into his mouth, Tobias tilted his head at the older boy. Something seemed... different. "You got a new hair cut?" |
Quote:
Oh. Kid. Tobias. "Oh, hey. Yeah, 'course I do. Good summer?" Theo replied in a much less enthusiastic manner than Toby had just given him. He wasn't thick, and he certainly remembered such a Quidditch player like him. In fact he had always annoyed Theodore prior to the last summer when they had shared a team, purely because of his skills. Now he thought he was alright, though. NEW HAIR CUT? >______________________> "No." Theo puffed out his chest subtly. Notice it. Notice the badge. Feel the power. |

Stopping for a moment to catch her breath, she noticed a young girl who seemed to be lost. "Can I help you?" Chances were good that she was going to Hogwarts, but Lux didn't want to let anything slip just in case this girl was a muggle. |
Quote:
"I had a great summer, yeah," Tobias nodded, bouncing away happily on the balls of his feet as per usual. "How about your summer? D'you want a sweet?" he added, holding out the bag of toffees. Hmmm, no new haircut? Toby looked thoughtful, but Theo's subtle chest-puffing had worked wonders on Toby's subconscious, and he immediately looked to the older boy's chest where his eyes landed on Theo's prefect ba- WAIT. "Hey, cool! You're Head Boy?!" the Hufflepuff said in something akin to wonder. "Wicked badge." Mad-shiny too. And... were you supposed to say congratulate people in this situation? Couldn't hurt, right? "Congratulations! So you're like president of Hogwarts or something now, yeah?" |

For Dee And there she was, holding a pet bag with a small black kitten inside, and behind her, a set of luggage ready to go into the train. But...the train wasn't around, weird. At this, Paloma just looked around, trying to figure out what to do next, where to go and who to find. She had only made some fiends, but she hadn't actually told them she was actually going to attend Hogwarts this year and the next ones. This already felt like the rush of her life. Her parents had left her on the other side of the cross, possibly shaking their head regards her daughter's decision, but she assured them much that her behaviour would 'probably improve' if she actually attended Hogwarts. But...who was she to blame? Trouble sometimes follows... Vader began to scratch Paloma's arm begging to get out, to be let free and walk around. "You kinda deserve it, but last time..." She shook her head, remembering how the kitten went on a scratch spree on people's ankles. Finally, all she could do was to take him out of the bag and hold him in her arms. "If we only could find..." Louis...yes, she didn't even have to say it, since Vader kind of understood who she was talking about. The kitten himself had a good, decent friendship with the boy who owned a cute white girl kitten. |

"Yes! Exactly. Graduating Gryffindor." THERE. Alec finally caught on. Graduating. He wasn't a seventh year. Nope. He was still that tiny little fist year. Wise leprechaun? Hmmm. That was a new one. Tag wasn't quite sure if he could agree to Alec on that level. Maybe smart. Wise sounded really really smart. Nods. Then, OMG Alec there is nothing bad about the duck pond. "Why would it be bad? I mean, you probably just re-imagined yourself the best memory in the world." Tag said happily with a little added wink for effect. Walking sticks, Tag just shook his head at that. "Walking sticks are for weak men." He said. "Although, they're a pretty bad weapon for anyone that's annoyed you." Can you imagine if a kid was annoying you and you'd just whack them in the shin. "There is danger for me then." Wink. Tag's memory wasn't the greatest in the world. |

That was until some random blonde girl walked up to her and said hi. She smiles at her before speaking. "Hey, what's up?" Was she going to Hogwarts, too? She would have asked but what if she was a muggle that would be weird asking one if they were going to Hogwarts. They would have no idea what she was talking about and call her mental. |

The summer had been great and he’d met quite a number of people he was eager to see again, but he’d actually really missed the stone walls of the castle and the view of the grounds from the boys’ dormitories in Gryffindor Tower. Carrying a curious white kitten in the crook of his arm and his luggage with his free hand, the Gryffindor boy made his way through the Square. He remembered clearly how to reach the platform (mostly because his lack of direction last term had almost taken him to the wrong train and he’d been a little traumatized since), and felt no need to make any extra stops. Until the kitten in his arm began wriggling furiously, letting out a string of high-pitched meowing squeaks. “Wha—? We’re almost there, Lu—” And that’s when he saw them. Following Luna’s - or La petite Lune, as his mother nicknamed her - line of sight, Louis’s gaze fell upon an all-too familiar girl carrying an adorable kitten with mysterious black fur. NO. WAY. “……………………. Tiny?” He was hallucinating, right? RIGHT?! |
Quote:
Alec was catching on, yeah. Conversations with Tag meant that you had to catch on. Go with the flow. "It has a bit of a ring to it, doesn't it?" Graduating Gryffindor. The words made his heart ache but... the boy smiled a little over at his second favourite blonde. You couldn't be sad around this leprechaun. Especially when he was talking about the duck pond and Alec's possible best memory in the world. "'Course, I did! I... still don't know how you didn't think I was weird when I tackled you." ... Weak men. Alec chuckled before saying, "Don't say that around Botros, mate." And Botros wasn't weak. Lesson on Thor, anyone? "Remind me not to give you a walking stick, yeah?" Or to not annoy the boy while he was holding one. GRIN. "I'll go easy on you when we're playing exploding snap in our fifties." When. Because this was a plan. |
Quote:
Probably, yes. Paloma just sighed, stood up from her trunk which she took as a seat, tip toed in order to be able to see around her, sat again (and repeated that routine over ten times, more likely), but nothing. No sign of any...Louis. The hardest thing though, and probably the most painful was to hold Vader in her arms, whilst the evil kitten scratched her arms and assumed her finger was a good snack to start biting every now and then. Just then, kitten squeaks, along with a voice coming from a not very far distance took both Vader and Paloma's attention. Quickly, the black kitten ran towards the white one graciously walking through the crowd, then met in the middle. All Paloma could do was stare and laugh. The little white kitten was Luna, Louis' kitten. And then, he appeared, calling her 'Tiny'. "That's me, please don't waste that name." She quickly answered to him when walking towards him, yet not losing sight of her luggage. Although what she meant was, please don't say that out loud. "Surprise." She shrugged, trying to make this a casual moment. Failure, of course. |

"Yeah, I just need to head over to Platform 9. I'm 3/4 sure I know where it is." She really hoped this girl was a witch because those hints were GREAT. |
Anyone want these two losers? XD It had been ages since Raeanne had been to Kings Cross and the platform. She graduated Hogwarts way too many years ago, she was sure that she would have forgotten where to go but nope, the map in her head led herself and her niece to where they had to go. It was sad that her sister couldn't be here for her own daughter but Raeanne guessed that being a Broadway star was more important that paying attention to your own child. But as her sister would tell her that she didn't know anything about kids because she wasn't a mother. Being an aunt was the closest things that she would come to being a mother and she cares about Emmylou very much. They had a lot of aunt and niece bonding time over the summer. They went pretty much all over the place or as many places as Raeanne's money could take them. She probably spent to much on Emmylou but Raeanne was sure that Emmy would be the only niece that she would have. "Are you excited?" Rae asked Emmylou. Raeanne was curious as to how Emmy felt about going to a knew school, this one being a very popular one. Raeanne remembered what it felt like to go to Hogwarts during her first year, she was nervous, excited and scared. The thirteen year old skipped around as she followed her aunt to wherever they were going. Well Emmylou knew where they were going but she didn't know how to get there but she knew that her favorite aunt knew how to get there. Emmylou wore a big smile on her face, she was so happy to finally be going to Hogwarts and to be with Kace, Luxness, Lou Boo, Bartman, Cinnabun and Bayness. Was that a new nickname for a new friend? Emmy flailed a tiny bit. She still didn't know Lux's boyfriend that well but she didn't know that he had really nice hair and seemed really nice and the only thing that matter was that Luxness was happy with him. Emmylou looked up at her aunt. "I'm very excited but I'm a little scared too. I'm mostly scared about the sorting." Emmy stopped skipping around. She was just scared about how big the school was and about the sorting, she father had said that it didn't matter what house she was in and her mother did too but Emmylou was sure that her mother wouldn't be happy if she didn't get into Slytherin. Raeanne stopped, she knelt down to Emmylou's height and put a reassuring hand on her shoulder. She knew what was going on. Honestly there was nothing scary about the sorting. Raeanne came from a family full of Slytherin's and she herself wasn't a Slytherin. She felt the pressure of having to be sorted into Slytherin but she was sorted into Gryffindor and she loved all seven terms of it there. They were very welcoming. "Look here, don't worry about where your mother wants you to be sorted." She told Emmylou in a calming voice. "It doesn't matter where you're sorted just as long as you are happy." Raeanne knew that Emmy didn't belong in Slytherin, she honestly didn't know where Emmylou would be sorted so any of the four houses would be a surprise for her. Emmylou didn't even know what had happened, where was Auntie Raeanne? The blonde looked over her shoulder and noticed that her aunt had stopped, Emmy ran over to her. She watched as she knelt down in front of her. Was something wrong? Emmylou realized that Aunt Raeanne had figured out what was wrong with her and reassured her that it didn't matter what house she was sorted in just as long as she was happy. Emmy smiled brightly, she loved her aunt. "You're the bestest, Auntie Raeanne." Emmylou was also sure that she was closer to her aunt that she was with her own mother. The summer had just been rough lately because she hadn't seen her mother in a little over a year. Emmylou thought it was her fault that her mother didn't want to visit her father and her. |

“This—You—You’re here… here!” Louis couldn’t help but laugh through his shock - he was certain he wouldn’t see her again for months! He had learned to dismiss his hopes of walking through Hogwarts grounds with her, pranking innocent first years with hellbent origami birds. And now she was here. And all those hopes came flooding back to him in a rush. “Well, come on! I want a proper greeting,” said the boy once he was able to find his voice again, the brightest of grins lighting up his expression as he walked over to his friend with arms wide, enveloping her in a tight hug. TINY DANCER AND CATBOY REUNITED. :') |
Quote:
But how to be sure, without looking like a moron. Well that was a subtle hint if she ever heard one. A grin spread across her face. She laughed. She was a witch. Yay. "If I go past platform 10 I've gone to far." Her hint was epic. Cinnamon's was pretty good, too or that's what she thought. "I'm Cinnamon." she grinned again at the girl. |
Jasmine had already said goodbye to her mother and was now making her way through the square solo. She had not been entirely enthusiastic about transferring to Hogwarts, but going on the summer field trip had changed her mind, sort of. Now she was dragging her trunk and trying to find her way to platform 9 3/4. As she walked, Jasmine glanced around hoping to see some familiar faces from her summer trip. No luck thus far. Jasmine entertained herself by trying to tell the Hogwarts students from the muggles. Since she was not exactly sure which way she should go, she decided to follow the kids with the cats. Surely they had to be going to platform 9 3/4. Soon Jasmine would be on the train, headed toward her new life......ready or not. |

At his she contained that urge to squeal with a smirk, then a firm nod. "Knew you'd be surprised. And boy, she grew up!" The latter about Luna, who had been just bought a couple of weeks ago. "I wanted this to be a total secret. I knew I'd be attending this year, since before our last meeting." Which meant that she was unbelievably torturing the poor boy when she made him think there was no chance she would go to Hogwarts. But hey, she was not able to really explain to Louis, since he wanted the proper friend greeting. And surprisingly, she let him squish her into a hug, and let out a squeaky giggle in the process. "Sorry for being so mean." She whispered, hoping nobody but him would hear her. Tough girl image to take care of, man! After a while, she pulled out of the hug, and once they were standing at a reasonable distance, and also that Vader and Luna were staring at each other, Paloma carefully picked up both kittens and smiled, kissing Luna's head. "Don't you look so cute with that ribbon 'round your neck..." She talked to her. |
Quote:
“I can’t believe you kept it from me all this time…” he accused softly, an amused grin on his face as he shook his head in disbelief. He knew Paloma could be mischievous, but this was a whole new level of pranking. “You’re not mean at all,” he assured her a moment later, watching as she went on to pick up the playful kittens that had come to them then. “Just… very good at surprises.” Lou watched with endearment as his friend greeted little Luna adoringly, though the white kitten seemed too distracted trying to paw at Vader to notice the affection coming her way. And even after greeting the girl and hearing her confession, Louis couldn’t believe it. Señorita Tiny Dancer was OFFICIALLY a Hogwarts student. A classmate! Suddenly, Lou’s eyes lit up with eager curiosity. “Do you know which House you’ve been sorted to?” |
Quote:
At the pawing, Vader only put his grumpy cat expression, though responded equally to the pretty white kitten in front of him. Playmates were always welcome...hehehe. Laughing at the kittens, Paloma raised her head and sheeplishly smiled, "Well...I...if I remember well..." The letter said something, but her head was somewhere else, "I'll be in Ravenclaw. Why the...question? What house are you in?" She had to ask. The urge she once felt minutes ago was coming back with a possible questionnaire to CatBoy aka Louis. |

So running....and running....and running. Occasionally he would glance back to see if his sisters and older brother were trailing him. Eventually he glanced back at the wrong moment, and smacked into some unknown person. Spencer banged his head against them. Immediately he fell to the ground due to the shock of what happened, and landed on his butt. Rubbing his head Spencer looked up and exclaimed "Ow!!!!! I'm so sorry, I should've been looking where I was going, or running rather." Eugh, great! All of his stuff spilled all over the place too! The books he was carrying, he almost broke his glass phials. Fortunately for Spencer, they weren't majorly damaged. Just a few cracks here and there. |
Quote:
She was just about to give up and go home when she heard someone shout! No owl! She had to be magical... She walked over and whispered and got nice close. "Do you know what Hogwarts is?" That was a good question, if she knew then she could obviously tell her how to get there and if she didn't then she would just look like a crazy person! |
Quote:
“I hate to admit it, but I think Luna’s probably even more excited than I am,” said the boy with a smile as he watched his kitten playfully trying to bite Vader’s exposed paw. Right, so about the grin not wiping off, perhaps that was an exaggeration. Because Lou’s expression had turned considerably less cheerful (though he was still quite thrilled) when Paloma shared the news that she was a Raven. It made sense, though. She definitely had the mind for it, being the clever and sharp girl she was. “I’m in Gryffindor,” he confessed with a smile, then shrugged. “Better separate Houses than separate countries, though.” Yep, this was only a minor detail. Soooooo... “Did you figure out how to get on the platform yet?” he asked curiously. |
Quote:
Of course, she'd gotten everything she needed now, and she had everything she needed in a big trunk at her side. It was covered in old stamps from it's previous owner's travels and it nearly reached up to her hip. It had her books, cloaks, wand, and her other essentials along with some nonessentials. Paige had 'fancied' herself up, her dim red hair pulled into a braid from her temple to her opposite shoulder and her best shirt and jeans on, which was ironic since it was casual wear nonetheless. She was extremely eager to put on her cloaks and hat, just to have her wand in hand. It made a happiness, one she wasn't used to exhibiting, well up in her. In a moment of forgetfulness, she very nearly hit the person next to her, her much older brother, Nate. She apologized quickly and clasped her hands in front of her. Paige caught sight of her slightly older brother, Spencer running off like a nut. If he didn't watch where-. The red head cringed slightly, watching Spencer's thing fell to the ground in a cluttered heap as he slammed into someone. Paige cursed under her breath before leaving the relative safety of Nate to go to Spencer and help him gather his things. |
Quote:
Looking at Luna, she grinned, "You should know that she is welcome to stay with me any night, to baby-cat her when you need to go see your lady." She said, raising her eyebrow then nodding. Sure, she was going to be that nice; Paloma loved having Vader and her together, to play, to bite each other as in that moment. "Courageous, strong-minded, I still have to figure that out from you, but yeah...you are definitely a Gryffie." She said in a laugh, being honest about not really knowing much about Louis, when he'd pretty much asked her every possible question about her basic life. "But yes, much better to be...in the same school, than to be pen-pals..." Although, that sure was fun, too. When asked about the platform, she looked at it, then shrugged, "I have crossed to the platform twice, with my sister and my dad...so I kind of know what to do." She was nervous, though. No one really knows the outcome when such strong excitement invades heart and brain. "You?" She asked peeking her eyebrow. It was a very odd question, but talking about Hogwarts lately, not everything looked as she had been told by Annie from years ago. |

He didnt mean to come across as sassy it just kinda happened.... oops. NO NO NO NO NO Uncle Dere! dont pull her out! She tried to keep her feet firmly planted on the floor as her uncle pulled her by her shoulder to be out in front of him. then the creepy man spoke to her again and she turned and buried her face in his leg. he couldn't get her if she couldn't see him :D....... Turning slowly she peeked at the man to see him down on her level and smiling at her... talking more nicely this time.... Still scary though. Scary. |
Text Cut: Jeremiah + 'Kayla Could he now, think of plenty of adventures for them? "I'll hold you up that." And she would. Totally would. For his own sake she hoped he didn't go back on his word, or a major poke war will break loose. At the prod, she poked him in the arm. "Then it should be interesting." Seeing as both were stubborn. Oh, no. Where was the closest wall she could face-plant? While she found Jeremiah brave to stand up to her brother like that, she knew when Kennedy's had his buttons pushed, and by the look on his face she confirmed they were. "Don't bring Dad into this," she mumbled at her brother. Kennedy knew how sensitive that subject still was. What a butt-head. Rising to his full height, Kennedy concluded the child didn't like him. That was okay. It was decided a while back that kids didn't like him (only his godson because he was obviously the best) and he was perfectly fine with it. What he was not okay with was the away the boy thought he could address him. Kennedy could so play at the 'I have a better retort' game. "Right, sorry, Bev." Turning to the boy, he crossed his arms over his chest and smirked. "You know, I just remembered, I am her legal guarding and tutors are just piling at my door to teach her." Hint, hint. Kennedy was pretty sure the boy knew about his sister's tutoring past. Take that, kid. |
Text Cut: Bev&Ken She'll hold him to that? well... good, he wanted her to. "Good, it's a" ................. "plan then." plan yup, that's what it was. a plan. heh. she poked him in the arm and he just grinned at her. "i promise it will be." interesting that is, yup. Something about their dad was going on and he stood away from that knowing it was a touchy subject and all. He was threatening to take her out of school!? the year hadn't even started yet and that just was... well.. it wasnt nice at all, ok!? Taking a breath he looked at this.. brother person and just blinked at him. He wouldn't do that. it'd make Beverly highly upset and she'd CRY to come back. he knew she could work him, he had faith in that. "I Think That yo----" "It took me ten whole minutes to find you. when i say to wait by the door i mean it." Ana had finally caught up with them. She knew her brother would just run off with her daughter she knew it. really she should of put a leash on the both of them. "McKayla, Come here." she said putting her hand out to the child before realizing who else was with them.. "Oh..." he voice softened from the stern one it had been moments ago. "hello again." she smiled at Kennedy and Beverly too before turning her head and glaaaring at her brother. ugh, teenage boys. |
Anyone want to get in on this? Ian entered King's Cross station with his mum. He had learned to hate this over the last two years. His mum was so fussy and she dragged it out so much. He remembered the first year. He could hear his mum's wailing all the way to the point he'd entered the wall onto platform 9 3/4. He could hear her warnings about knickers and clean socks and such. And when he'd run to the wall, he turned just in time to see her face go white as she feared he'd crash headlong into the wall. Last year had been even worse. She had stood by the wall, watching like a hawk to see what he was doing. That of course was after the fifteen minutes she clung to him like he was going to die. Granted, he nearly felt like he was going to last year with the aging disease and everyone getting so sick. He had only hinted that the school had experienced some challenges when he first got home. That lasted until she got the letter from the Ministry apologizing for nearly aging the children to death. That had been the most miserable month of the summer. His father had taken his crew out for fishing and he'd been left alone with his mum. She wouldn't let him do anything. He was afraid she wouldn't let him return this year. Fortunately, his dad had spoken to her and finally had put his foot down. Yesterday, boarding the train from scotland had been a challenge as his mum and dad had fought the whole way about this decision. Here he was again, about ready to enter the wall. It had been 30 minutes of sheer agony trying to get his mum to let go. I'll be fine mum. The professors really do care about us and they won't let us die, if they can help it. As the words left his mouth he knew he'd gone too far. She started wailing again and he just sat on his trunk, watching his watch. |

Anyway, onto the train for her second year of Hogwarts! Oh, she couldn't stop smiling! The five foot two girl wouldn't be among the youngest. Although, sh wouldn't be among the oldest, the smart child was almost there. Just a long way to go. And besides that, she got to learn new things with her two best friends! And according to her freak brother, a possible crush. Yes, when Caelen told Rockwell about the whole Spencer thing, he started to laugh at first. Then he got serious and demanded to meet Spencer, even though he met the boy several times. Forgetful one, wasn't he? After that it was a lot of promises to be safe and to write home every day and tell more about this crush --which she TOTALLY didn't have--and then he would let her go. Annoying, much? At least he didn't tell mom. Mom didn't approve of dating until fifth year or more, and that was only if she was doing super in school and learning lots. Uggh. Speaking of the dork and Paige, where were they? Well, first, she should probably find Nate. And that wasn't even had to do, because they were always surrounded by Nate. Who was easy to spot in a crowd. Being like six feet tall and about three million pounds did not make you good at hide and seek pal. And sure enough, through her tired blue eyes, she finally saw him and his two cohorts. And Spencer had tripped. Hahaha, was he okay? Dragging her bags over, Caelen knelt beside her blond friend --JUST friend-- and helped him collect things. And while she was helping, the kid smiled and looked up at Paige. "Hey, girl! Excited to go to Hogwarts?" Stifle a yawn. Because that wasn't attractive. She learned to do most things nicely, but yawning and eating were not among them. She yawned like a giraffe eats, and if you don't know what it looks like, it's not pretty. |
*snags* Quote:
Where was everybody? How did she manage to lose two sisters and a mother? Oh well, it wasn't like she needed their help, but she knew that she would be in trouble for wandering off. Maybe she would be able to convince her mother that it was really Angel that had gotten loose and that she impersonating Aubrey to get her in trouble. She did kind of want to tell her mum goodbye, but she was a baby or anything. It would be nice to be with her sisters though because she had no idea what she was doing, and where she needed to go from here. As she walked closer to where she saw people million around with trunks she noticed a boy sitting off to the side with a wailing mother. For a moment Aubrey was thinking it would probably be better to not get in the middle of whatever was happening, but she had questions. The brunette boldly walked up to the boy who was older, but not too much older. "Do you know how to get to the train?" Because she didn't and it didn't look like she was going to find her family any time soon. Plus, she was pretty sure that she just saved this boy from an overly attached mother so he was welcome and all. "Oh and I'm Aubrey by the way, but you can call me AJ." Or Bre really, but she didn't too much care for the girly name. |
Quote:
At her following comment, the boy dropped his jaw in mock offense. "What, are you calling me a coward, Señorita?" But he, too, seemed to realize just how much he still had to share with his new friend. There were things one couldn't really show or express through letters. And speaking of not knowing much about each other, Lou was actually surprised with the news that Paloma had a sister who'd come to Hogwarts. He knew about her sister, but he didn't know she was a former Hogwarts alumni. "How come your parents didn't send you here from the beginning, if your sister was already a student?" he asked curiously, before Paloma echoed his earlier question. With a smile, he nodded. "Of course. It'd look pretty bad if I hadn't figured it out by now, with it being my second term... don't you think?" |
Quote:
I....I....I'm sorry. I didn't hear what you asked. Could you repeat it please? He did hear her name. Hi AJ, I'm Ian. He looked back to his mother and then to the girl again. Sorry about me mum...she's a little nervous whenever we come here. Thinks I'll go off to school and die or something. I only nearly died last year. It wasn't even that close...I was just a very old man. He wasn't sure why he was rattling on, but it seemed like a good thing to do. |
Quote:
She smiled at him as he asked her to repeat herself. She was sure that he was a bit preoccupied and she did just barge in and start asking questions before she even introduced herself. "Do you know how to get to the train?" AJ kind of lost her party and she was clueless as far as what she needed to do from this point on. "I'm glad to have met you Ian." Her eyed widened as he talked about Hogwarts and why his mother was so upset. "It's cool." AJ knew first hand how mothers could be, and he didn't have to apologize to her. "So... you almost died?" More information was needed on that one. How did somebody just almost die while at school. The way he phrased it also made her wonder if this was a normal occurrence at the magical school that she was about to be shipped to. |
Quote:
Just then...her eyes caught of something shiny, gold and red, and a capital P showing off. Was he...now...or even before and hadn't told her that... "You, are...a Prefect?" She sort of choked when making the inquisition. Aww, man. Was she ever to tell HIM the jokes she played on first years, or in others, and probably getting away with it? Probably not. With the same mock response, she shook her head. "I would never call you a coward. I recognize you have quite a gut, Bolton." Honestly. Because, who would have the courage to try her applied spells? No one she had met before. "I guess we have a couple of years to figure out..." She mentioned with a firm nod, at the reminder that Lou was already a sixth year... Okay, maybe they now had to talk about family. "Ummm...well, being honest." Yes, like saying the truth about her interests, "You know I have been always involved in ballet, I have been like that since I was five. I didn't take interest in magic til two years ago." When she entered Beauxbatons, "Though, Papa...when I started to have innocent newbie accidents, he started to give me private lessons to control it..." Homeschooling, since she was twelve actually. "So, let's say I didn't take interest in coming to Hogwarts til...now." Ahem. She felt so bad for saying that. At this, she lowered her face in sign of embarrassment. Good, he knew how to cross. Which is something they should have done by then, to not be late. The mention of his previous history raised her eyebrow immediately, though."Wait. Your second year? Where were you before Hogwarts?" She asked, blinking. Although, as she said before, they still had to figure a lot about their friendship, their families... |
Quote:
He shrugged a little at her next question. I don't think I was going to die, but it sure felt that way. Loads of students last year caught some aging sickness while the ancient runes professor was getting younger. Just fel like an old man most of the second half of the year. The Valentine's party was when I picked it up...or was it 'Alloween? He stopped a moment to try and remember. Then he shrugged again and continued...Anyways, the healer's from St. Mungo's came wat messed up the potion and fixed us all last day of the term. We was right as rain headed home and I'd have been able to make it all summer without telling mum if the Ministry hadn't sent some blasted letter apologizing and such. |
Quote:
BEAMING away at his realization, Theo had pretty much decided right now that he liked Toby. "I sure am!" He wiggled his chest area about a bit just to get the full effect of his badge going. The way the light hit it was particularly beautiful. "Yeah, I guess, yeah." President of Hogwarts had a ring to it. "I mean it's sooooooo much higher than being a regular Prefect, there's tons of Prefects, just one of me." Was he blabbing on about this too much? Huh. Didn't really care. |
Quote:
Aubrey listened intently to everything that he said. She was hanging on to every last word. "Wow. This school sounds so much cooler than my old one." Nothing ever really exciting ever happened there. "I mean I don't want to die or anything, but that's what my magical stick is for right?" She wished she had that blasted thing on her when she ran into that mean lady, but she wouldn't know what to do with it other than to whop her with it. |
Ian heard as she vaguely answered the question. It seemed that was likely all the response he'd get. This girl seemed to be rather confident and that went a long way in survival Ian supposed. At least that's the way his dad made it sound. Believe in the good and the good will come to ya, boy! Don't be thinking the worst...the way yer mind goes is the way yer life goes. Calm seas never made a sailor. It's a right good school. Really enjoyed meself the last two years. Of course, perhaps this year I won't have to be an old man, but I'm sure something interesting will happen. It normally does. He chuckled when she mentioned the 'magic stick'. Laughing, he responded Aye...yer magic stick keeps ya from dying....bearing in mind ya don't point it at yerself. He shook his head and looked at her face, And it's called a wand. We can sit on the train together and I'll tell ya all about the magical world as I know it. I'm muggle born and so it was all strange to me too. He fondly remembered the first time he'd encountered a moving picture. He'd tossed it across the room and asked everyone around what kind of witchcraft this was. He got a few dirty looks and a lot of laughs from the assembled group. Ian nodded and placing his hands on his knees he stood and faced his mum. MUM! he spoke loudly at the now just sobbing woman. It's time fer me ta go. You'll be fine without me this year and I'll be coming home for Christmas this time. Ye made me promise. Of course he had no intention of keeping it. He loved Hogwarts during the holidays. He couldn't imagine not being there. Anyways. It's time fer me ta go, and this girl could use some help so it's time ta say our goodbyes. He reached out and hugged his mum, gave her a quick peck on the cheek (now that he was nearly as tall as she) and said his good bye. He turned, looked at Audrey and headed toward the wall. C'mon now. Don't think of the wall. Just imagine walking through a door. |
It was almost as if Cutty was bringing HER to the platform and not the other way around. At times it felt like this very thing to the boy. That it was all for her benefit. He didn't really need her. Not really. But he liked having her around and the effect she brought was enough that if he were being honest with himself, he'd be forced to admit that his mother was indeed a very needful thing. Wands neatly tucked away, Cutty carried one bag, his mother, the other. And she, with her decorated hand on his shoulder, followed him whilst taking note of his glances toward the conversation between the handsome friend from the fountain and a badged boy |
Quote:
Five points for being a muggleborn too. "The first time I heard that I thought I was being made fun of." You just never knew with people. Woot, she already had a seat buddy. "Wicked. Thanks!" Her sisters would be able to find her... how bog of a train could it be? Aubrey couldn't help but to admire the firmness he used with his mother. It seemed as if he wasn't about the drama either in regards to his no nonsense manner and she dug that. She hummed quietly to herself as they said their goodbyes. A slight pang of guilt hit her as she thought about her own mother. She would be able to write home though, she remembered the man telling her parents that when he arrived to tell them all about Hogwarts. Getting ready to follow Ian, Aubrey had to shake her head to clear her mind. What did he just say to her? "Why would I think of a wall?" Was she missing something? |
Quote:
"So are you like, Prefect Overlord?" the fourteen year old asked, chucking another sweet in his mouth, though he TECHNICALLY hadn't finished the last one. "What kinda cool stuff do you get to do?" All this talk was good, but Toby's backpack was getting heavy. Figuring it couldn't hurt to just keep it on the ground while he stood here, Toby heaved the thing off of his back and dropped it onto the floor beside him. As he did so, he heard the multitude of things inside the magically extended bag shift and fall about, an he wondered if he'd ever be able to get his pogo stick out of it again. |
Text Cut: Walkers She held in a grin as he promised on this adventure thing. He's made several of those, and so far he's kept them all, so she didn't doubt him. "I'll be looking forward to it, then." MERLIN. Did her brother HAVE to go THERE. Beverly shot him a right GLARE. If it hurt his feelings it wasn't her fault because he was being stupid. Just because Jeremiah was adventurous didn't mean Kennedy had to take her out of school. What's the worst that could happen? Pffft. "Just wait until--" Oh. There was Ana, never mind. "Hello," she greeted, her expression softening as she went to stand next to Kennedy. Under-handedly, she thumped him in the arm. That's what you get. Gah! What was that for? First a glare and then violence. Kennedy rubbed his arm where Beverly had punched him. It didn't hurt, just...why?! Did she really just assault him over a BOY. Merlin, he didn't like this. Not one bit. Looking up from his little sister, Kennedy smiled at Ana. Good. She was here, could she take her pesky brother away now, please? "Hi, nice seeing you here." It was. |
Alec and his dad XD Quote:
Trolly was full of candy though. Maybe Alec should worry. Graduating Gryffindor. Graduating Gryffindor. Tag supposed it had a ring to it. "Yeah, it does. Are you gonna call me that now?" he asked, for you know, whenever they see each other over the winter holidays. Alec tackling Tag was unexpected and shocking and a bit scary. Tag had no clue who Alec had been and yet the brunette had pounced on the blonde. "I probably did. But everything moved so fast I had no time to process it all." So many things. Botros. Right. Tag forgot who used a walking cane. All thoughts will be considered when around Botros. "Nope. I won't. Never in his sight." Botros was too awesome to be made fun of. Too awesome. "Good thinking. I wouldn't whack you though. Or people. But, once I got something, in my hand, something that can be a danger to people, everyone and anyone is a target. Whether I mean to hit them or not." This is a true story. Or thought at least. Exploding snap. FIFTIES. Wow. That was a lot to take in. "Let's take exploding snaps at babysteps within our age. We'll have a mean game over the holidays." They had to keep word to that. "But yes, I appreciate you taking the easy road with me once we play exploding snaps in our fifties." FIFTIES. |
Quote:
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They had to go! "Beverly..... train's bout to go." so They had to go..... Quickly hugging his sister and his niece who clung to him for a bit longer than he wanted to./... "'Kayla... I have to go... i'll see you at christmas.. it's not too far off from now." really he had to go and he practically pushed his niece off him as his sister pulled. way to break his heart, niece. |
Quote:
Glancing up at the clock her brows rose. So it was. "We should get going, then," she said, waving at Ana and McKayla. "See you soon." Oh wait! Noooo, she almost forgot. Running back to her trolley Beverly grabbed a small plush dragon. Crouching in front of McKayla, Beverly held it out for her. "I almost forgot, a present." Jeremiah had mentioned 'Kayla missed her, so this was something to for the girl to remind her by. She even had it custom made so the wings were covered in real silk and 'Kayla's initials were embroidered on tip of one of the wings. Nothing too extravagant. Time to get rid of this kid, yes! Using that as an excuse -- which really shouldn't be because he got here with Beverly first -- Kennedy went back to the trolley, ready to push it through the Wall. He'll walk his "Right, it's time. Nice you two," he directed at Ana and her daughter. "Come on, Bev." |
Quote:
wait, what!? No! that wasn't what was suppose to happen!? Giving a look from Kennedy to his sister his eyes fell on the handle of his trolley as he heard Kennedy ushered her along. NO. Huffing some he pushed his trolley forward a bit, unable to make words cause he was so flustered at the moment. He was however able to make out the cries for him from his niece. Every. Term. she did this and every term it got harder and harder with her being able to speak. No NO No she didn't want to leave him again! he'd be gone for forever and she didn't want to let him go! HE wasnt allowed!!! She tried to cling onto his shirt for as long as she possibly could until he pushed and her mum pulled and she was stuck in her mother's arms again....... NO!! "Uncle....." Oh.. Beverly. Stopping her tears for a moment to look up at her new friend as she presented her a preseeeent, she liked presents, she sniffled. "fank you." she liked the animal. she wasn't sure what is was but this part was shiiiney. She held it by a wing as she watched Beverly TOO get ready to leave her. Why did everyone leave her!? |
Text Cut: Jeremiah This wasn't cool. Kennedy wanted to walk her all the way to the train, something she wasn't opposed to. She quite liked that he took the time of day to see her off in that busy schedule of his. Then there was Jeremiah, whom didn't seem to be too happy about that. When McKayla took the dragon toy, Beverly slowly made her way back to Kennedy. The scene right now just reminder of herself when she was younger, the days when she'd cling to Kennedy's leg and beg him not to leave. Yeah. "See you on the other side?" she asked Jeremiah. Then they could board together, it didn't matter that her brother was there. Kennedy blinked several times and pinched the bridge of his nose. Ana's daughter reminded him so much of Beverly in that instant that he almost envisioned her as his sister. A memory lane he'd rather not go through. He spared Jeremiah a single glance. He must be feeling like utter dung, he was familiar with that feeling enough to understand. And there goes his conscience. Why did he have one, again? Life would be much easier if he didn't. Moving the trolley, he slightly nudged it to the boy's. "Come on, or you and Beverly are going to miss the train." Yes, he was inviting the kid to walk with them. GAH. GAAAH! |
Quote:
He literally had to force himself not to grin like an idiot but his eyes did shift to Beverly as he gave Kennedy a small smile and a nod, yeah....... train stuff... yup. |
Quote:
Kennedy just attacked...Oh, hold it. He was inviting Jeremiah to go along with them? Beverly's eyebrows creased curiously as she glanced at her brother. What had come over him to do so? Just a minute ago he looked ready to hex the Gryffindor. He was smirking at her. Welp. She didn't know what that meant, but there was no way she was going to protest. Using his arm as leverage, Beverly climbed back on the trolley, sat on her truck and put her shades back on. Cool-mode: On. "Lets go, boys." Yeah. She saw her chance and she took it. After sending a small wave at Ana and McKayla, Beverly shot Jeremiah a grin. Was he okay? Yeah, yeah, he could tell the boy was happy. And yes, Beverly was confused. He had sooo surprised them. Kennedy like that, the element of surprise, but that had not been the reason he was doing this. At the end of the day his sister was growing up and she was going to make friends. It was better to keep them close than have her sneaking off with whomever it was. Sigh. Playing parent was tough. He didn't like it, though it did have it's rewards from time to time. At Beverly's lead he jerked his head at the boy to follow them. Maybe...a bit...it was nice to see his sister finally interact with kids her age. Yeah. It was. |
Quote:
He couldn't help but think the way she climbed up onto her trunk and put her glasses on and ordered them to go was cute. it just was. He grinned at her before shaking his head a bit at her. "we're not boys, Beverly." they were men she had to understand that. With a hp in his step he headed towards the wall, right behind Kennedy and Beverly cause well, Ken had Beverly and Ladies first and all. |

… And then her eyes were… on his chest? Louis glanced down at himself for a brief second until she spoke the magic word. OH. That. Right. Good job, Bolton; forgetting your title already. “Y—Yeah. Crazy, huh?” he said with a soft chuckle as he looked back up at the girl. “It arrived toward the end of summer.” And honestly, he was still a little shocked about it. And excited. And possibly a little nervous. But mostly only happy feelings. Still, he could see the hesitation building up on his friend’s features, and he gave her a reassuring smile. “I’m not going to be some fun-ruining tyrant now, y’know.” At the girl’s following compliment, Louis bowed playfully. “That’s quite flattering coming from you.” But really, he had yet to prove himself very… Lion-esque. Whatever, the Sorting Hat was never wrong, was it? When Paloma went on to share a bit of her history with him, Louis listened attentively, taking in the new information with large, curious blue eyes. There was a time Pal actually wasn’t even interested in magic?! That was definitely a first. The boy had never heard of a witch or a wizard being indifferent toward their own power; though, seeing as Paloma was so dedicated to the performing arts, he could see how she had become distracted. “And now you’re a pro at charms,” he pointed out with an amused grin. Seriously, how did she go from neglecting her magic to becoming even better than most witches and wizards that studied magic in school since childhood? Clearly, the Sorting Hat had made no mistake with her. “I’m glad you decided to come, though…” he added, less playfully and more honestly. At her confused expression a moment later, Louis laughed lightly. “Yeah, I was going to an all-boys’ school for my first four years,” he explained with a shrug, as if it was some long distant memory. Which it was, because for some reason he felt like he’d been attending Hogwarts all his life. It was strange but nice. |

Kennedy smirked at the guy. Yeah, there was only one boy here, which was him, and one man, which was Kennedy. He kept that to himself for the time being, though. It'd start World War Three if he mentioned it. Can he just say one thing? He sister was being utterly adorable trying to be all cool. Hmm. Maybe he would get her that thing he talked over with Johnathan. She was ready for it. Making their way toward the Wall, Kennedy briefly glanced back at the boy to make sure he was following. Since he was part of the group now, he'd have to go through the Taking a deep breath, he started, "So both of you have your wand? Parchments? Quills? Uniforms? Books? Backpacks? Snacks?" And so the list went on and on... |
SPOILER!!: Arista Leah was at a lost to what to do. Send a message back home and get the owl? She decided on doing that on the train and shook her head. Surely her parents were going to be mad at her for forgetting her pet again. Maybe a Howler. The second year turned her trolley to the barrier when she heard a voice. It was the red-head next to her. "Oh hello, and you don't need to whisper. I know what that is, and I won't treat you like a weirdo." She winked at the little girl. "Do you need help getting on the platform? You look a tiny little bit lost." Leah was willing to help, of course. She was a first year expert. |

Keep going, Tempus, he liked it. "Well, basically I am in charge of all the other prefects." Including Alexa Cambridge, ahahaha. "And I think I can even give out detentions." That was a total lie but he didn't expect Toby to know any different. Besides Theo was sure that he could convince a teacher to give out his detentions. He was a persuasive kid when he wanted to be. Theo squinted at the kid's bag when it started making jangling and shifting noises. "Good luck opening that later." He couldn't think of anything worse........... mess on the first day. Anyway, what was the time? The train was suuuuure to be coming soon. |
Justine was alone as she walked through the crowded square of King's Cross station, her father was supposed to have been with her, but something had come up ("A work thing," he'd said with apologetic eyes, before sending the young girl on her way). Strangely enough, she wasn't disappointed, she wasn't even annoyed, if anything she felt a cool resignation. Though, she couldn't help thinking it would have been nice to have her father around, at least to help her with her trunk.. Justine shook her head, physically shaking the sentimental thoughts from her mind, this wasn't the time, nor the place for a pity party and as Justine dragged her to the trolley cart, she straightened out her back and held up her head, all former signs of melancholy wiped from her visage. |
You can post next at the wall to move us SPOILER!!: Angel Bay wasn't taking the girl's words very well and Ben couldn't totally fault him for not enjoying being thought of as old. They both had been effected by the aging mishap of last term and apparently the elder lion wasn't as recovered from the inner turmoil as he was. Maybe it was cause he was closer to being older then Benny himself? Nevertheless, Bay moved to walk away and the girl took it badly like she had done something wrong. "I'm...I'm not sure it was offense..."he remarked, trying to assure her it wasn't all her fault. "But its a long story...don't worry about it." Plus it was getting late as a glance at the nearest station clock revealed and they should probably be heading to the platform anyway. There was no way he was going to get stuck on the wrong side of the barrier and miss the train. And he couldn't just leave her...Angel. "Nice to meet you," he said returning her greeting. Something they probably should have done earlier. "The name's Benjamin Atreyu, but most call me Ben." No Benny please...only Adi could get away with that nickname. As for how they got to the platform. "Follow me," Benny instructed, taking a hold of his belongings once more and guiding them and hopefully Angel following him in amongst the people on the Platform 9 side to get in between the pillars in a more secluded area. |

gonna start wrapping up already cause traiiiiiin Quote:
"Wow," Toby said in an awestruck voice. Having the power to give out detentions basically meant that Theo was basically of teacher status, which meant Tobias had the utmost respect for him. Not that he didn't respect non-teachers, but you know. Earning that badge was obviously a huge thing. Realising he'd gone over all glassy-eyed, Toby suddenly shook himself back to and looked down at his bad as well. He couldn't think of a suitable response, so he just grinned kinda sheepishly. "Yeaaaah..." Over Theo's shoulder, Tobias could see a large clock up on the wall. Noting the time, he bent down to grab a strap of his bag and got ready to hoist it. "Well, I'm gonna head onto the platform. Need to say goodbye to my grandma before getting on the train." He hoisted up the bag again, waiting to see if Theo was gonna come with or stick around here, to Head Boy up the place. |
Quote:
The anticipation she'd felt for her first year, her first day had kept her up all throughout the previous couple nights. This resulted in bags under her eyes and a yawn that escaped her uncannily. She'd thought of brooms (which she was absolutely terrified of, but fascinated nonetheless) and black cats that could talk (though, it's easy to be misguided with an adoptive brother like Spencer). |
Anyone? The summer had been hella fetch but it was more than that. A time to reflect for a change which was a strange thing to do for the now to be Fifth year. HEH it even SOUNDED boring in her mind. It was needed though especially considering this was the year she truly needed to grow up some. Not that she was totally immature before...just a little loud or with a lack of seriousness but HEY fun was fun, she wasn't ever going to give that up. Instead she had decided she would learn how to have fun whilst focusing on the necessary aspects of life at the same time such as This was her year, well actually her fifth year but the used to be Fairy Abbi Campi was going to make it THE YEAR. THE IT YEAR. Got it? YEAH? Good. Beaming as usual the newly made brunette made her way across the platform. Her kitty followed and as for the parents, she'd long ago waved goodbye to them; she didn't need no baby sitting. FIFTH YEAR over here AHEM. The straddling continued. Again. IT YEAR. So HELLO people of Hogwarts. She so hoped they were staring cause she was HELLA swagging it out. |
[color="#08088A"]Oliver looked around the public square in awe. He couldn't believe today was the day! HE WAS FINALLY LEAVING FOR HOGWARTS!!! It felt like he'd been waiting for this day since he was at least one, but the longing to leave for Hogwarts had grown within the past year. He'd finally get to hang out with Cordy all the time and he and Timmy would have so much fun! And maybe he'd even try out for the quidditch team. Hogwarts was going to be AWESOME and this was just the start of it![color] |

And then she was running into someone, and Dot went flying. Nimbus went flying too, although in another direction. "EEEEEP." Eeeping was NOT cool. Sigh. "Sorry. My eyes weren't running as fast as my feet were." She scrambled to her feet and immediately realized that Nimbus had gone hiding somewhere. "Have you seen a gray cat with big eyes and ears and a sulky disposition?" |
McClay was overwhelmed. So many people and animals and things moving every which way, and his mother was nagging him. Again. "Alright mum - YES, I have my socks. OF COURSE I grabbed an extra pair of trousers. Merlins pants! I'm sixteen!" He exclaimed exasperatedly. "I see the wall. Let's go." |
Quote:
The 'Eepster' got a good up and down look before Abs decided to act chilled. It wasn't like it was a huge thing that just happened, no need to make a scene and mind you the girl DID say sorry with no attitude and whatnot. "Girl, you better train those eyes, you never know what good looks are out there to see." Aka BOYS with beautiful bodies or faces or both or really just BOYS. "Happens though, so it's cool." As for the cat, she saw nothing of it hence why a head-shake was given towards the girl. "I've got some time to spare, want help finding the kitty?" Now this was being nice times a million, hopefully the youngster would appreciate it. "Abbi, by the way." Introduction here, of course."What's your name Eepster?" |
*ahem* :3 Tia was fully aware of King's Cross as she'd been here before when taking transportation to London but this was her first time going to Platform 9 3/4. She was not lugging any of her trunks or baggage behind her though until necessary, because that was what big brothers Speaking of brothers, did he get lost already? Whirling around, the fourteen year old squinted back and shook her head. "Can you walk any slower? At this rate you're gonna have to take me to Hogwarts directly if the train leaves without me." |
1st year 'Platform 9 3/4? This doesn't make any sense! How can there possibly be 3/4 of a platform here? Oh, these pe...erm, muggles, are gettingin my way and bothering me. I just would like to find the stupid platform.' Hermy's parents (muggles) walked her towards the platforms 9 and 10 hoping she might know what to do. After watching a few more experienced witches and wizards (very obvious by their lack of style and ability to match clothes) find their way through what appeared to be a random barrier. Taking a careful look around, hermy put her hand against what was supposedly a barrier, but her hand went straight through it. Sighing, she turned around and said her goodbyes to her parents. After a tearful goodbye, she awkwardly and worriedly found her way through the barrier. |

"I haven't seen anything good yet today, except I saw a fish and chips place that looked pretty decent even if it is way too early for chips." Dot dropped to her knees and crawled under the nearest bench in search of Nimbus, but she was still talking to the girl. Dot liked having an audience. "He should come if you call. He's not a bad cat." Oh. Abbi, was it? "I'm Dot." |
Haven't RP'd Pao in soooo long! Text Cut: Tia Wow, could she possibly pack any more than this? Sure, there was the featherweight charm, but seriously. He'd brought one trunk to Hogwarts plus the clothes on his back. He was all for the whole 'always be prepared' mantra, but this was quite excessive. Logan Mancini grunted. "Yes I can. Wanna see?" he said, slowing to a snail's pace. But two seconds later he sped back up and drew near his little sister. "But in all seriousness," he said, "you can't be saying the word Hogwarts in a Muggle place like this, you hear?" He had finished the sentence as an urgent whisper, afraid of being overheard. But then he softened. "I just know you're going Eagle, I can feel it." He'd spent his own year at Hogwarts as a badger and rather enjoyed it. He'd gone by Pao then, short for his middle name. Lots else had changed about him besides his name, but this was no time to reminisce about the past. "But just in case you go Lion, don't anger the Snakes, alright?" |
Cilla was feeling a mixture of nervousness and excitement. Her trunk was all packed and ready to go. Cilla's parents were there to say goodbye to her. "You two take care now," Cilla said to them with a teary smile as she hugged them both. Cilla released herself from the hug as her mother wiped away tears. It was time to head to the platform. "Ta-ra!" Cilla called out as she headed for the platform. |

Cats, yes that. The fifteen year old watched as the girl whom she now knew as Dot began crawling around the floor. A snort couldn't help but escape from her lips. Crawling..what a laugh, but in a good way. Kinda. "So let's call him then? Duh? Like wouldn't that be most sensible?" That may have been more attitude-sounding that intended but Abs couldn't help it, the attitude was within her even when she didn't mean to be rude or so. "Dot the Eepster. Nice to meet you." That 'Eepster' bit was never going away. |
Quote:
"Not particularly. I thought you were agile though." Tia teased, knowing full well he was lugging her bag and trunk for her. She frowned at his whispered comment and bit her lip. "Oops, I forgot. But if anyone asks, we were just talking about the warty hogs we passed." And his next comment just made her heart swell because it meant something knowing that even he thought she was witty enough to be where their mum and grandmum were. "Thank you." She stopped walking momentarily to lean over and give him a hug. "And no need to worry about badgers, cause they're super nice even if you're not?" She smirked. Cause she was pretty sure that's how their Aunt Jo was, and well, Pao was too... Nice to everyone no matter what. |
Quote:
Dot stood and brushed her knees sheepishly, since she HAD just said her cat came when called and then hadn't bothered to call him. "Nimbus. C'mere like a good cat." With a foot stomp. It must have worked (somehow), since Nimbus sauntered out from behind a bench looking unconcerned and a bit proud of himself. "See? Oh, and nice to meet you too." MANNERS. |
Text Cut: Tia Sure, he was agile. Just not with a ten-ton trunk to lug around. Logan simply rolled his eyes at her comment. "Best not to forget again, or they'll cart you off to you-know-where in the middle of the Sea." He managed to playfully poke his elbow gently into her side. She would know he was joking. If it ever came to that, he would do everything in his power to keep his little sis out of that prison, even if he had to take her place himself. He merely grunted again to say 'you're welcome.' And though he did appreciate the hug, it caught him off guard and caused him to lose his balance. THUMP. "At least it missed my toes," he said with a grimace, hefting the luggage back up from the ground. And, just to show what a nice badger he actually WAS, he said, "Want anything before we cross over?
