"Mom, Dad! Hurrrrrry!'' called an excited Adi, as he leapt from the car and bounded towards the Public Square. It was almost time to head off to Hogwarts! He was so excited, he couldn't stop jumping around. Dressed in his favourite outfit, he stared around for any signs of other students. Sure enough, he spotted a few. They were easy to recognise with their trunks and all.

Adi suddenly felt warm hands on his shoulders and looked around. It was his mom
. "Your father's getting a trolley to load your trunk,'' Indira Rehman said with a smile. She wasn't sad or nervous about her son going off to Hogwarts. Seven years at Hogwarts had been the best of her life and she knew her son would feel the same way. "Concentrate on your work, darling. It may all seem hard at first but I know you will do your best if your best foot forward.'' The ex Gryffindor smiled. She had complete faith in Adi; she knew he was going to do well. She smiled at him and squeezed his shoulder. "Have fun, make lots of friends and don't forget to write to us.''

Just then, his Dad, Saieed Rehman came strolling towards them pushing the trolley. "All set, son?'' he asked. Adi nodded excitedly. ''I suppose your mom told you everything I would say.'' The muggle was not a man of many words.

Adi grinned. "She did!'' he told his dad. "I'll write to you guys soon.'' He wrapped his little arms around his parents. "Bye, mom! Bye, Dad!'' With that, he grabbed his trolley and casually walked towards the direction of Platforms nine and three quarters.

Annabeth arrived at the station alone. She was wearing the new yellow cardigan and it was like having her own sun. She was delighted with the idea of being at Hogwarts again, sp she hurried towards the 9 3/4 platform entrance.

Damon was refreshed from the recent summer and was looking forward to a final successful filled year at Hogwarts, He was at the entrance to Kings Cross, this had been the place of departure for him for all these years and he never really paid attention to all the traffic jams and other things that were normal for the train station, instead he focused mostly on the other fellow students and the fact that they too were headed off for more learning opportunities.

Damon did not have his parents present with him because they were out of the country but they had sent him a roll of parchment some time ago stating that they missed him and wished him well, that was more than enough for him and gave him the resolve to enjoy school.

So off he went into the station with his trunk and Arculus his owl with him, it was going to be an interesting term.

So.. Wade really had to face it. His final year of attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The school that his whole family save his cousin, Luc attended. Since his first arrival two terms ago after transferring from Durmstrang Institute, coming here yearly made it very familar yet... this time it was different for him, knowing that this would be the last of boarding the train to the castle. After last year's events and tragedy, the summer did just enough to clear Wade's mind. So, now it was a fresh new beginning to the upcoming end.. Meh.

It was already 'bad' enough from his dad reminding him of that along with his new found responsibilities before giving his final goodbyes. After adjusting his robes, now all that was left was for Wade to take his trolley filled with the many luggage of supplies and Herbie sitting all nice and fed in his cage through the station where many passing muggles surrounded. Wade lowly whistled along his merry way towards where the wall for Platform 9 ¾ was. Hopefully, he'll see some familar faces soon.

Hello ss did you miss me cause i missed you!!!

This was it. No turning back now. He was ready for Hogwarts...sort of. Logan pretty much got mixed reviews of this new school he was going to attend and he really didn't know how to feel about it. He was so used to taking a boat to his school...and now it's a train, and a train filled with people he didn't even know. Logan let out a soft, disappointed sigh as he grabbed his things and looked around to where exactly he needed to go to get on this train. Platform 9 and 3/4? What kind of rubbish is this? I don't see it anywhere.... After looking and moving through the crowd he stopped and saw a few student push their trolleys through a wall. Logan stood there raising his eyebrow. A wall? Really? Logan let out a huff before pushing his stuff towards the wall and looks around and takes a moment before exhaling out and nods. "Let's do this...Hogwarts...here I come." He then pushes his trolley along and pushed through the wall.

And they were right.

Speaking of Jake. Where was that boyfriend of hers? He had all her things. Why? Because. Pfft. Anya wasn't going to carry things if Jake volunteered to. Or... was going to be there. Really, his existence made her lazy. But that was okay. He probably didn't even notice that she volunteered him to bring her trunk before it was too late.

She readjusted her bag on her shoulder before she spotted him. With a wide grin on her face, she ran over to him and threw herself into his arms.

Jake had about half a second to let go of the trolley before Anya launched herself into his arms. He hugged her close to him with an immediate grin. After spinning her around once he set her down, still hugging her.

"Hey, beautiful," he greeted. His grin faded to an easy, content smile. "I'm glad you're here. I was just about to go through." He tipped his head toward the barrier. He dropped his hands from his girlfriend and took hold of his trolley. "And, you should know and be proud that I brought your things. You owe me." Kisses were a great form of payment. Anya knew that, right?

HOGWARTS HOGWARTS HOGWARTS!!!

Tallulah was out of the car before her mum had even pulled up to the curb, jumping up and down excitedly.

She was FIIINALLY going to Hogwarts!

"Mum, Dad! Hurry up! Get my trunk out of the car PLEEEEASE!" Tallulah called, sticking her head into the drivers' seat window.

They were going to be LATE.

HMMF.

Ollie winced as he watched his daughter launch herself out of the car; Nancy mirroring his actions as she stopped the car. If she wasn't careful, they've be taking her to Mungo's, not into the train station.

Once parked, the man adjusted his ponytail and stepped out of the car. He gave his daughter a warning glance before opening the boot, revealing a purple trunk. "Calm it down a little, Tal. You're drawing attention to yourself."

Didn't need the muggles staring, really.

Nancy sighed, locking the car doors and joining her family at the side of the road. Her daughter was far too exciteable. Far more than she had been all summer.

She was going to miss seeing the glee on Tallulah's face, honestly.

"Come on, you. We've half an hour. Do you want to get something to drink before we go for the train?"

Tallulah stared at her mum, like she'd asked her to do something impossible, like fly.

"Pfft, no. Let's just goooooooo. Please?"

Grin.

Fern was standing in front of the station, surrounded by her family, all of them repeating the same advice and orders (except for Patty, who didn't speak in public) they'd been giving since her letter first arrived.

Myrtle Quimbley, her great-grandmother, "Mind your toad!"
Phillip Quimbley, her grandfather, "Pay attention in class!"
Gretchen Quimbley, her grandmother, "Eat your vegetables!"
Thomas Quimbley, her father, "I expect nothing but top grades!"
Carol Quimbley, her mother, "Remember your manners!"
Carl Quimbley, her uncle, "No dating! You're too young!"
Rhonda Clark, Carl's girlfriend, "Have fun!"

Then, after Fern had nodded and assured them countless times that she would uphold the Quimbley name (and stuck her tongue out at Uncle Carl for good measure, causing her mother to say, "FERN QUIMBLEY, MANNERS!"), they squashed her in a giant hug. Fern had known it was coming, but it didn't stop her from wanting to disappear with embarrassment.

After all, there were people around. And hugging was for 10-year-olds. For children, not tweens. Everyone knew that - everyone, except for, apparently, her family.

"You guys!" she whined, squirming to get free, "I think I hear Aunt and Uncle Palmer and Tallulah!"

Oh my.

There was one thing Ollie was certain of, was that the Quimbley's were definitely an... enthusiastic bunch. Did his niece really need the WHOLE family to take her to school?

Probably.

"FERN!"

Tallulah grinned, leaving her parents by the car to run and meet her cousin with an over-enthusiastic hug. "Morning Carol! Morning Uncle Thomas! Hello... everyone else!" She liked her uncle Tom. He was nice. Taught her how to horseride when she was, though.

Maybe they'd have birthday cards...

Heh.

She turned back to her cousin. "Come one, come on, come oooon! I'm so excited!" Fern had to be at least doubly excited - she had all SEVEN YEARS of School to look forwards to!

Fern had finally escaped from her family's embrace, only to find herself in another one. But this was a hug from her cousin, who was a teenager, so it wasn't the same thing, obviously. "TA-LLUUUU-LA!" she crowed, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"

Her words were followed by an echoing of similar well wishes from the rest of the Quimbley family, and it was not even a full second after her cousin stopped speaking before they circled Tallulah in another group hug. Luckily for the-soon-to-be fourth year, the hug didn't last too long, because the family had to say their hellos to her parents.

Myrtle Quimbley, "Nancy, so good to see you!"
Phillip Quimbley, "Oliver, you need a haircut!"
Gretchen Quimbley, "Do you both want to come over for dinner?"
Thomas Quimbley, "Car looks good!"
Carol Quimbley, "Ollie! Nancy, oh can you believe our girls are leaving?!"
Carl Quimbley, "You remember Rhonda?!"
Rhonda Clark, "Hi!"

"ME TOOOOOO! LET'S GOOO!!!" Fern cried, yanking on her battered trunk, the cage for her toad tied to the top. "HEY EVERYONE! TALLULAH AND I ARE GOING! BYE! SEE YOU THIS WINTER!" She had said her hellos to Aunt Nancy and Uncle Ollie while Tallulah was being suffocated by all the Quimbley love. Now she was ready to leave!

Tallulah grinned, more than she had done all day. Fern remembered! "Eep! Thank youuu!" She looked back to the rest of the family, smiling and throwing 'thank yous' to the other birthday wishes.

HUGS.

NOOOOOOOOO.

Okay, hugs weren't that bad. They were pretty cool, actually. Tallulah wasn't sure who she was closest to, but she hugged them specially.

"Fantastic! Let's GO!"

....

Or not.

Tallulah looked at Fern, then frowned. Why did grown ups want to catch up? Couldn't they do that AFTER their children were ON THE PLATFORM????

Nancy smiled, "You too, Myrtle!"
Ollie folded his arms, defiantly. "I do not need to cut my hair, Philip! ("Honey, you really do.") You should grow your hair out. See the benefits for yourself." His frown soon lifted at the sound of food. "Coming round to dinner would be lovely! I look forward to it!"
"Of course she looks good. I'm the one who looks after her." Trust Thomas to care more about the car than anything else.
Both parents nodded. "It's surreal to know it's really happening." Nancy nodded once more, in further agreement. Ollie was glad Tallulah and Fern fell in line together, though. Having Fern starting out at the same time made him feel more confident that Tallulah wouldn't feel so lonely.

"Muuuuuuuuuuum! Daaaaaaaaaaaaad! You can all catch up laaaaaaater. We've only 20 - no, 17 minutes EXACTLY to get onto the Platform!" Tallulah whined, going and standing by her trunk.

When Fern announced they were off, Tallulah nodded - firmly - in agreement, and began to pull her trunk towards the station's entrance.

"Excuse me, young ladies. You didn't think we were going to let you run off into Kings Cross on your own, did you?" Ollie smirked, and jogged the short distance to meet the girls. "No, no. We're coming with you both." He put his hand next to Tallulah's on the trunk and took it from her - they'd get there quicker with him carrying it.

"Maybe next year we'll let you make your own way there."

Fern had almost made it to the entrance when Uncle Ollie caught up to her and Tallulah. Her uncle was followed closely by Grandpa Philip, who, though still sputtering over the suggestion that he grow his hair out longer than one of their thoroughbred's tails, took control over the handle of Fern's trunk with surprising force. With a grunt, the elderly man pulled it through the revolving doors and disappeared.

"Wait Grandpa!" Fern shouted, "You'll hurt Lewis!!" She waved at her family, the Palmer's included, "Come on you guys! The train is going to leave at any moment!" And she was not going to be left behind to endure another year of people hugging her and calling her Ferny-Werny. That was not okay.

The 11-year-old dashed through the doors, followed by her mother, uncle, and Rhonda Clark.

"You all go ahead," Gretchen said, wrapping an arm around her mother-in-law, "Myrtle and I are just going to wait here." And Myrtle held out a handful of sickles towards Tallulah, "Buy some birthday treat on the train to share with Fern, Dear Heart."

Tallulah skipped off through the entrance, catching up with Fern and their parents.

Hooooooogwarts, Here we come!

Nancy nodded to the elder members of the party, commenting that they'd meet them soon. She shifted her bag carefully onto her shoulder - smirking at how grown up her daughter seemed, and followed the others through the station.

Kace finally made it to the train station. If Belle didn't take SO much time with her hair and getting ready, they would have make it like 10 minutes earlier. Even his grandparents accompanied him on his journey this time. Kace had all his school supplies and even Charlene for company.

"Alright hun this is your stop." his mom told him. Kace nodded and knew he could do this again. He was excited to go back! Don't get him wrong he missed being home and all but he just missed exploring the castle and doing Quidditch most of all.

"I know mom." Kace smiled toward him.

"Now sonny, do good in school this year please. This boarding school your mom has been telling me about, i hear it is a great place." he patted him on the shoulder. Kace grinned, his mother didn't tell him EVERYTHING. But hey...it might give him an heart attack if he knew. His grandmother on the other hand......

"Now do good and learn some new spells." she whispered and smiled and hugged him tightly. His grandmother knew of his magic abilities. His grandfather was kind of oblivious to the whole thing. He thought it was second nature.

"I will grandpa and grandma." he assured them. He smiled and they both waved goodbye and went to their car. His grandma winked at him one more time and left.

Then Belle got up and held his shoulder. "Ready for your second year bro?" she asked. Kace smiled and nodded. He walked with her and his mom to the station ready to start his second year. His father couldn't make it due to work which was understandable.

It was sort of crazy how much Jake had missed his girlfriend in the small amount of time they were apart. But it made sense to him because he was used to spending every day with her. That smile that she got though... he wouldn't get tired of that. Especially if he was the one to cause it.

He smiled too, looking around the platforms quickly before looking back at Anya. "They left a few minutes ago. I take it your parents are gone?" If they weren't... her dad would probably be right there beside her. So Jake was sure that was a fair guess.

"You ready?" He nodded to the barrier.

Quick post here

Being in Diagon Alley was fun sure, but actually being back at Kings Cross had been oddly something that Patrick was looking forward to and now that the day finally arrived, he wasn’t sure what to do first but once he had a moment to think; it all made sense. Grabbing a trolley was the most important thing at the moment seeing as there was no way he could have brought the trunk along with his suitcases and of course Orion’s cage through the station without it looking strange, no need to start attracting attention to himself when he was only looking to get onto the platform, especially when there were people that he hadn’t gotten the opportunity to see over the summer but there was no need to get ahead of himself obviously. As soon as he had loaded a trolley, he took a stroll down towards the wall between platforms 9 and 10 but at a bit slower pace because of the muggles around, sure the idea was to run though he wasn’t exactly scared of missing where he needed to be. Well not like he had at age 12 though clearly was understood since it was overwhelming. Taking a deep breath, he headed towards the wall and just prepared himself.

Adelaide was finally doing it. She was finally going to Hogwarts and she was just so excited. Her tutor, Mr. Samson, had brought her to King's Cross because her parents absolutely refused. That was all right with her. He'd kind of become like a second father anyways.

She just stared at the wall she'd seen a few students disappear through. "So I just run at it?"

Garth smiled at his pupil, well former pupil at this point. He was glad she was finally getting out of that house. It had been hard for him to keep his mouth shut for four years, but he'd managed. "Yep. Do you need me to come with you? I can help with your trunk and such."

Adelaide shook her head. "I'm good." She wrapped her arms around him as a way of saying goodbye. "Thanks for everything Mr. Samson." With that she waved and ran towards the wall. Hoping she wouldn't collide.

Early. She got here early. Why did she come here early again? She didn't know. But it wasn't that bad of a thing you know? Better than running like the wind and getting on the train at the last moment. Arriving early allowed her time to wander around, see friends maybe and meet people! That was a good thing. The fifteen-year old had already said her goodbyes to her mum while her father went with her brother. The siblings said their goodbyes at home so it was all good. They'd write to each other.

Like always.

That was what the evil owl was for.

Dragging her trunk and clutching the owl's cage, Cassia stood in the public square. MANY people around! It looked that it'd be hard to search for anyone she knew. Her best shot was to accidentally come across them. Though she tried to search the faces of the people around her. Don't mind her staring.

No luck, though.

She puffed her cheeks, and sighed. This was boring. She wanted to do something exciting instead of just standing here and bumping into people in this massive crowd.

"COME ON, COME ON, COME OOOOON!" Bristol whined, racing ahead of her parents and Dee. She tried to balance both of her small trunks and her pet's cages, but it really wasn't working for her, so took the time in which her family caught up, to adjust everything. Her Mum arrived glaring, her Daddy pretended not to notice and smiled. And Dee was shuffling along behind them, glancing anxiously around, observing things. "You two can go now," she announced and grinned, trying to sound as grown up as possible.
Annabelle gave her twin daughters a tight smile and nodded. "Goodbye, children. Do NOT get in trouble," she warned, but turning on her heel and leaving. She could honestly not be bothered to deal with the foolishness of her children any longer, so it was a good job they were off to Hogwarts. Now she and her all-too-loving husband had the house to themselves.

After his wife had left, Paul went to each of his children and kissed their foreheads. "You be good now and enjoy yourselves. Remember, if you have any problems at all, you can owl us." Or just him. He didn't think Anna would appreciate being disturbed, unfortunately. "I love you, girls. Bye!" And with that, he left, leaving his children to enter the magical world alone.
Bristol and Dee stood and waved to their parents, before turning to each other. "Are you ready for this?" Brist asked her sister, bouncing slightly on the balls of her feet, completely obvious to everyone else around her.

Bored..bored..boooored. Whenever she tried to start a conversation with someone who passed her, they didn't seem interested enough to carry on with it, some didn't even reply! How rude! People were only getting ruder in this world. She'd been noting the actions and attitudes and had come to this conclusion. Humanity descending. Tsk..Tsk..tsk.

Such a shame.

Deciding that those people around the station weren't really ones who appreciated nice manners, she decided to blend in! After all she was a Slytherin. And for now, she decided to ignore her rule about being nice to nice ones or those who didn't do anything.

Her brown eyes swept the crowd around her until they settled on two little girls. They had trunks and cages with them. Were they going to Hogwarts? Maybe and most likely. Assuming that yes, the blond shuffled towards them then stood a bout a foot BEHIND them. It took her a bit as she had to drag her trunk and place the cage above it. Once she got that done, she turned to the two little ones.

And without any warning, "HIIIIISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS" That was the first sound that occurred to her. "Hiissssssssssssss"

She had no idea why she was hissing, so don't ask.

Hehe...?

He smiled too, looking around the platforms quickly before looking back at Anya. "They left a few minutes ago. I take it your parents are gone?" If they weren't... her dad would probably be right there beside her. So Jake was sure that was a fair guess.

"You ready?" He nodded to the barrier.

Anya nodded. "Yeah. Left outside." She then laughed lightly. "I think they know it's pretty impossible to tear me away from you." Poor parents.

She nodded again. "Yup." And then they should kiss some before Jake had to go do Prefecty things.

A quick post, but he's up for grabs too. :)

Has it been two years already? Mordred stuffed his hands inside his pocket as he looked at the station’s clock. He was early. Today, he promised himself that he will find Sophie. He and Ethan stayed up late after their trip to Diagon Alley a few days ago, since his cousin was talking non-stop recounting all the things that he and Ella talked about. It was his cousin who brought him here and gave him the courage to step out of the shadows and face the friends he left two years ago.

Sophie. Mordred berated himself for leaving her. “You deserve this Mordaunt. You better be prepared for today. Because today…you will be humiliated by her.” Or maybe she already forgot him? “Whatever. I still want to see her ride the train for the last time.” Mordred grinned to himself and breathed in some urban air. “Sophie in her seventh year. Wow.” He may not have spent much time with Sophie and the rest of the Badgers, but he was proud of them already.

So now. On to Platform 9-3/4…

Leonard stepped put of his mother's car, he was used to America, used to getting out on the other side, this seemed backwards, he had been so excited to be going to Hogwarts, but now he just felt nervous, scared. What if people didn't like him?

Diana got out and helped her son gather her things. "Don't be nervous, this is where i went and you'll do just fine. Whatever you do, i'm proud of you." She said with a comforting smile, or at least trying to be? Diana couldn't help but worry, she wasn't seeing her only child for months, not until christmas, she was used to this with his other school but it was different now, he looked so scared.

Leo sighed. "I'll be fine, Mom. I'll make friends and stuff, i already met one kid..he's younger but he was cool." He spoke of Bart, the frog-loving wild child he'd met in Diagon Alley. Hmm what an interesting time it would be with him around.. Leo wondered who else he might meet as his mother led him inside.

Sixth year Ascanius Stark.

That had a delicious sound to it and for the first time in, well, ever Ascanius was excited to get to school. Third year into Hogwarts and he finally felt confident in the lay of the land to walk in those halls like he was somebody, which he was. Pfft.

Mostly though, he wanted to get back to the safety and comfort of the castle walls. The home was nice and all, but his bed in the Dungeons was much more comfortable then anything he had at home. That and the food was better. Bless the elves.

Mackenzie made her way from her flat to Kings Cross, she was eyeing the muggles as she went along. She didn't want anyone to try and take her beloved Jellybean so the faster she went through the station and got to the platform the better.

She hurriedly walked through the crowds of people, why there were so many people she wasn't sure, but she also wasn't going to stop to find out. Dressed in a pair of jeans and a button down shirt she knew she really didn't stand out unless she lingered too long then they would spot her pink pet.

Not seeing anyone the blonde recognized, she made her way straight to the platform and crossed over with no problem.

This was new. Riding a train into school instead of taking a boat. He would much rather take a boat, thank you. That wasnt the case this year though. Seeing as how his mother got a new job in Scotland she moved the family out there, Ana and Malaya included, which meant he was being sent to Hogwarts.

Dun dun dun.

Not that Jeremiah had anything against the place, cause he didnt, he would of just rather been back at Durmstrang, where he was comfortable, with his friends. He only knew Lex from here, and well he supposed that Mike's sister counted, kinda but that wasnt the point.

Pulling his trolley along he made his way into the station with his sister and niece trailing behind him somewhere. He just wanted to get this over with.

DaniDiNardo 12-26-2013 05:18 PM

Lex hadn't bothered trying to tell her father that there was no point in accompanying her to the station and waiting til the train left. He had that look on his face, the one that said he was extra proud of her and she wouldn't be bursting his bubble. Granted she'd be ditching him the moment she ran into her friends but for now she was fine with walking next to him, his arm slung comfortably over her shoulder and the other pulling along her things. For now there wasn't much rush. Nah.

Felix did very little shuffling around in her hands, understanding finally the idea of behaving if he wanted to be allowed out of his cage. To say she was excited about going back to school would have been a lie but an even bigger lie would have been telling herself she wasn't even a little pumped at the idea of being in charge.

Good way to start the year if she did say so herself.

The Gryffindor was sure to keep in stride with her father as they headed through the station, badge tucked into her pocket...just in case something came up, ahem. Next stop, the wall. That place never got old.

Melek Sönmez looked around and up at her parents. Her mother said that she would see her off at the Public square and then her father was going to take her the rest of the way since her mother was a muggle. Mel looked up at her mother and frowned. She hugged her and clung to her a little. Melek was going to miss her mother and she was going to be in a foreign place... but at least she met a few people at Diagon and Anna was coming so maybe it wouldnt be so bad. "Love you, Momma." Mel looked at her mom then nodded to her dad who was wheeling her things around in a cart for her. She started to go faster so that she didnt have to be pulled into her mother's weeping farewell hug. Melek grumbled as she didnt move fast enough to get away. "Moooooooooooom! Get off! It is embarrassing!" Mel frowned and squirmed. She sighed in relief as she let go. They must have looked like a funny group since they were all three buried in their coats. Melek clicked her tongue slightly, "Well, we better be off, Father... Bye, Mother." She nodded to her mom and then started to race for the platform.

Minerva was here at Kings Crossing. She took a deep breath, while all her friends going off to either Hogwarts or Uni she was feeling super left out recently. She knew she shouldn't feel that way. Gosh her life had already been in change mode and so many changes took place already, so there was no need for this envious feeling she was having and she felt so guilty feeling it. It made her feel like a bad person or something for partly wanting what she couldn't have. Though she was happy with the gifts she was given right now.

One hand gripped tightly around the balloons and the other resting on her belly she stopped to rest in front of the station. Why was this so hard to just go in. Probably because so many that she would see today hand't seen her since she left school and well she had obviously changed in size dramatically since then, but she couldn't worry about that. She had to find Alec, surprise him with an early birthday gift. She would be missing his birthday this year since she wouldn't be at school any longer and she wanted to make sure he got his gifts now, but how would she find the seventh year. That she wasn't sure.

What a drag Alex thought to himself. One hand in his pockets the other idle at his side. His adopted mother for the millionth time this morning was hurrying him up in that annoyingly cheery voice of hers while his little sister kaylin was running around him all excited to finally see the wall. Honestly she hadn't shut up about it the entire summer after he got his letter. Sigh
"Hurry up Alexander, the train waits for no one". His mother came in yet again. He tried his hardest not to roll his eyes
"I said I'm coming already and my name is Alex" He replied if there was one thing he were looking forward to it was getting away from her. He did appreciate that she took him and kaylin out of the home but she was too much sometimes, One thing he wasn't looking forward to leaving kaylin she wasn't exactly known for staying out of trouble but she was the only one he would bother to help when anything happened.
ALEX! ALEX! ALEX!!! is that it?! His little sister came in Tugging his arm excitedly and pointing ahead of them. She was probably the most troublesome thing in his life but hey what could he do?
he looked down and addressed her Yeah kaylin that's it.
That was all it took for her to take off for the platform,he felt a migraine coming on as he realized she was going to run into a girl who was also heading for the platform.

He had arrived! ... Earlier. And met up with his father who, all too proudly, ruffled his hair out of place by giving him a noogie and pinned the new badge onto his shirt. Thanks, Dad. Thanks a lot.

Not that the boy was complaining. It was ALWAYS great to see his father again, especially after being away for a whole month. Letters just weren't the same, you know? He liked the hugs, the grins and the constant babble of how the animals and things at the vet were. Speaking of animals, Chip had been giving back to Dad to take care of while he went off to Hogwarts. It was... sad to know that he'd end up missing the little puppy's growing up stage.

Shaking these thoughts out of his head, Alec pushed his trolley forward and looked around the area. He... needed to try and find someone he knew. The boy was nervous about this, to say the least, thanks to a certain badge. No matter what he did, he couldn't make it look any less inconspicuous, which he really wanted to do. Make it look inconspicuous. Because if he didn't, the compliments would follow and, as happy as he would be, Alec... had no idea how to take them.

... And then he grinned. ... No... wait... GRINNED. Yeah. Because look who was there!

He pushed his trolley over towards the figure, excitement flooding through him. IT WAS HER! "You're not going back to Hogwarts, are you?" he asked, coming to a stop right next to her. Because the boy would be ALL too happy if she was. He'd also use everything in his power to make sure that she was as comfortable as possible. "Hey, by the way. And hey, Peanut!"

Kace knew it was time to go back to Hogwarts again. He couldn't believe how fast the time went. He remembered just yesterday coming home but now he was back. He couldn't wait to go to his second home. He just made it to the Public Square with just 15 minutes to spare. His sister Belle made them late again by doing her bathroom touch ups.

"Alright hunny here we are..." said his mom facing the wall of platforms 9 and 10. "I can't believe you are going away again.." she said hugging him too tightly.

"MOOMMMM....i will only be gone for a while. I will be back at Christmas." he promised her. He was the baby of the household so he understood why she acted like this. He shrugged her off and looked to his dad.

His dad was fascinated by this world. He was looking around and asked, "Kace where are the wands?" he asked. Kace chuckled, "Mine is right here." he said pointing towards his pocket. "But don't worry dad, i only use it in school." he promised him. "Alright kiddo have a good term you hear me." he said giving him a manly hug.

"Yeah bro, behave and say hi to my friends for me.." Belle said hugging him tightly as well. "Live up to the legacy i left at Hogwarts." she said. Then the mother gave her a stern look and she succumbed.

"Bye Ace the Kace..." his mother said kissing him and hugging him one more time before she left with her husband in which he waved goodbye. Belle apparated to her job.

Kace ^__^

Adi happily pushed his trolley which contained his rather heavy trunk toward the Wall. He had his hat pulled rather low over his eyes, so he almost always bumped into some unfortunate person. "Sorry. So sorry,'' Adi muttered to them. He made no effort to remove the hat though as the sun hurt his eyes. Nothing bad just a mild ache.

Gus croaked away from somewhere in his pants pocket. The toad was finally croaking once again but Adi's effort to get him to croak the alphabet had been futile. Seemed like it was something Gus could not do.

He was close to the wall now. Adi stopped and waited for his parents to catch up with him but in no time he was distracted by a familiar voice. "Kace?'' Adi called in the direction of the many voices he was hearing. "Is that you?'' He raised his hat a bit and squinted. Ugh! The light burned his eyes.

“Okay… Take a deep breath and… just do it…” spoke Millie to herself and stared at the wall in front of her, she didn’t really like it to just ran toward a wall, hoping that the wall really was magical and that she wouldn’t get hurt or would fall to the ground, while making a fool of herself! She really, really, REALLY didn’t wanted to make a fool of herself in front of all the other’s around her, knowing that some of them were here just like her, because they wanted to go to Hogwarts! “You can do it sis” spoke her older brother and gave her a gentle push toward the wall. “I know that you can do it” he smiled at Millie and pointed at the wall. “Make you family proud and become our first witch!”

Again, she nodded and tried to look brave. “Okay…” Quick she hugged her brother one last time and then… she walked toward the the wall, leaving her older brother...

She put her hand out holding the rest of the balloons. "These are for you. I was coming to surprise you since I won't be there for your birthday and now I wish I had more to celebrate Head Boy. Oh I also have cupcakes for you and a small gift." She wasn't spending too much money since her and E were saving up for peanut, but she would not forget her brother on his birthday. Alex stood there watching as Kaylin had fully run into the girl. He frowned an irritated expression now etched on his face,As far as he was concerned no one was allowed to talk to his sister like that. He made his way over to them, he had originally planned to stay back and observe after all when Kaylin knew she was in the wrong she always apologized, so he knew she wouldn't cause herself more trouble but he didn't appreciate the tone the girl had taken to his sister or how she was addressing her. Worst of all Kaylin looked like she was about to cry, sigh . She was always so sensitive. He was almost there when he heard her telling Kaylin the most ridiculous thing. His eyes narrowed a fraction man this girl was trouble.
Finally arriving he rest his hands on Kaylin's shoulder causing her to turn around and immediately latch on to him. His eye-twitched by the time he got to the train his shirt was going to be soaked.
Sigh he turned and addressed the girl before him.

Nice try but don't you have anything better to do than making a little girl cry?

"When they are little brats who run into people then no." She snapped, "No manners whatsoever." Mel huffed and then crossed her arms and stomped her foot when her father was telling her to behave, "I am behaving, Father! I just dont appreciate having a brat run into me and then another brat yell at me." Melek stuck her nose up at the two younger kids and then looked at her father. "Lets go, Father..." Mel glared at the two kids and started to leave.

She couldn't believe she was standing there seeing him go on his last train ride. She still felt like he was to young for this, but he wasn't. She was done with school and he was a seventh year. Times have changed, but everything changes now doesn't it.

Lots of questions flooded the boy's mind. Like, why was Minnie here if she wasn't heading back to Hogwarts? And was Ethan here too? And were those balloons? But hugs were happening so the boy kept the questions at bay and hugged the girl back gently. Peanut, you know. "Oh..." he said, once the girl had pulled away, "Well... it's really great to see you again!"

... ... And then she noticed it. The yellow thing perched on his shirt. Alec grinned nervously at her and nodded. "Head Boy..." It was unbelievable, really. And the boy was still getting used to this small badge that seemed to come with a ton of responsibilities. But hugs were happening again which left no time for worrying about responsibilities. "Thanks, Minnie! I... that means a lot to me," he said, hugging her back. ... Oh no? He looked up to see a yellow balloon floating away and grimaced. "Sorry about your balloon."

Or HIS balloon. "For me? I..." GRIN. "Thanks, Min! You know you didn't have to, right?" Since she had a Peanut. And she was resting, right? Because the girl might be strong and a little scary but she needed rest. "Yeah... I think so. It feels weird because... I remember coming here as a first year and now..." He didn't need to continue the sentence, right? "Thanks Min! I'll try my best. Promise!" Nodnod.

... Pause. "Are you ready for your changes?"

She smiled at the boy, "Thanks Alec, I know with work I haven't been around much. I miss everyone." She tried to keep the frown from her face. She was having a pity party for herself lately with no real reason too. With everyone getting ready for school wither uni or Hogwarts she hadn't seen many of them all summer and she was really missing them lately, but that was something she would have to deal with. Everyone was moving on with their lives and so was she. "I'll get owls and a schedule of the matches as soon as you have it right? Your girlfriend is captain maybe you can get a schedule early." Well at least she was as far as Minerva knew. Speaking of Ella she wondered where the blonde might be so she could see her off as well.

She heard him repeat her, "Alec Head Boy, you are going to do amazing. You are such a born leader I just know it. I can't wait to hear about all the great things you will do." Was her sisterness showing, because it should. "Can I ask you a favor though?" Would he mind, it was something she just thought of and she knew they would be okay, but maybe if she knew someone would look. "In the student garden there is a plant called Jacob's ladder. Ethan and I planted it two terms ago in honor of my brother since it was the term he should have started school. Could you just check on it for me?" Not that she could do anything if it was gone, but it made her feel better if someone did check on it.

She chuckled, "Oh come on Alec you know I had to do something. It's your eighteenth birthday that's a big deal and no sister would be a good sister if she forgot or didn't do anything. I just feel bad I won't be there to give you a cake like I have in the past. Maybe I'll owl you one." She liked making cakes for her puffs birthdays it was fun and starting the birthday celebrations for each month last year was even better. She grinned at him, "It is a weird feeling, so many feelings isn't it, but enjoy it. Seventh year goes so quickly." It did for her at least.

Changes? Was she ready for changes, well changes already started didn't it. Look at her! "Well I can't see my feet, I'm tired a lot again, and my last name's different. I guess changes are there whether I'm ready or not, but I am. It will be exciting." She smiled at him, because it really was exciting and she was happy to be in this adventure. "We have some time yet though so not rushing yet." November was coming quickly though, but she felt they would be ready when the time came.

Sander pushed his trolley filled with all his school stuff and some and looked all around him. Being a transfer from Durmstrang, he found himself not knowing what to do.

Yes people lots of people who possibly seemed like some were headed for the same school he was but right now he needed to know how to get to Platform 9 3/4. Someone had told him you had to run into a wall to get there.

As he made his way to the platforms he thought of Sydney. They had said their farewells at Diagon Alley but he had hated doing that.

He didn't want to leave her behind.

Sander sighed.

Mel glared at the two kids and started to leave.

"What ignorance,my sister is anything but a brat but you wouldn't know that because you are quick to judge if you had waited a second more she would have apologized. Pitiful. he turned his back on her now ushering his sister to his side.
"I know you didn't ask for it but a bit of advice,if you don't change that attitude of yours you'll end up an old hag."

Yeah right.....like that was ever going to happen. Sander suspected that the person was playing a prank on him.

So here he was staring at the wall. Platform 9 on one side and Platform 10 on the other. So where was 9 3/4's?

Sander looked around. Maybe it was way back in the distance. Like one of those last minute places people put when they suddenly realized they had accidentally forgotten they needed a spot for the 3/4 platform.

Okay....where are you? Sander scratched his head before giving up and sitting on his trolley. Hopefully somebody would notice him and help him out.

Sydney happened to be at the Public Square with her family. Her mother insisted she come here once last time before heading off the France. She needed to take some pictures for her mother. Her mother actually went to Hogwarts and she wanted to relive the memories. She knew who she was gonna miss the most.

She had an amazing time with Sander this summer. She actually had a first love and that was amazing to experience. She looked around for a photo taking spot and then she noticed him. Her heart skipped a beat. She beamed and wanted to surprise him.

She tiptoed behind him with her Nikon D3000 and then tapped him and said, "Hey handsome!" She hoped he would remember that nickname she first gave him.

Sander immediately turned around when he heard a familiar voice. A voice he would never forget for as long as he lived. He was already beginning to feel the loss. He would not be seeing Sydney again. His first love.

Sander sighed and then forcing a smile on his face, he turned around to look at the most beautiful girl in the world.

"Hi munchkin. It's a nice surprise to see you here." he smiled down at her.

Yes it was a nice surprise and at least he had one last chance to see her face before she was gone for good.

"I am gonna miss you calling me Munchkin.." she trailed off and then gazed into his gorgeous eyes. "I am only here for a while because my mom wants pictures of the train station..." she looking around the place. "She went to Hogwarts here too... but she wanted me to go to Beauxbatons because it was closer." she faked a smile. "I am gonna to miss your handsome face, Sander." she said touching his face softly.

The reality of not seeing him for a couple months was getting to her. She didn't know if she was gonna break down in tears or what. She felt the tears coming into her eyes and she couldn't help it. She leaned in closer, standing on her tiptoes and touched his soft lips where she kissed him. Probably the last kiss they will share together for a while.

Once she broke away, she smiled and laughed. She wanted this to be a fun time, not a sad time. "Did you hear me before? I said your real name. How weird is that?" she teased.

Sander nodded as he heard Sydney explain why she was here at the train station. Whether he was listening or not was another matter. He was so captivated by her lips and the way looked at him.

Without him realizing it, he found his hand gently stroking her cheek. He knew he loved her, there was no doubt about that. It saddened him when he saw tears forming in her eyes. His fingers brushed the corners of her eyes, before he leaned down and his lips met hers. He savored their kiss together, knowing that it would probably be their last together.

He laughed when she finally called him by his first name. "Yes you did say my real name....just like I'm saying yours, Sydney, my love." he smiled down at her.

Oh no....he said my love. They had never really revealed to their feelings to each other. He knew that she cared for him as much as he did her...but the words LOVE had never been said aloud before.

Sander wondered whether she'd noticed what he had just revealed for the first time outloud.

"Anytime!" She missed everyone... and it had a lot to do with work. Alec didn't know what to think of Minnie working right now but... he was happy for her. Really. "How's work going? And we miss you too, you know." We... because he was sure he wasn't the only one. Curly Wade, remember? "Yeah, of course! I'll drop by during the holidays to see you and Peanut... if... that's okay?" Girlfriend... Captain... Captain Girlfriend. He should tell Minnie, shouldn't he? "Erm... you should see Ells and... yeah. Just... try and see her at some point. You won't regret it." How did Head Girl Girlfriend sound? ... Head Girlfriend?

Amazing. Born leader. Great things. This made him even more nervous than he already was but he smiled at the girl? Why? Because... "You're a great older sister, you know," Really really great. "Thanks for believing in me. I... I really appreciate it." Nodnod. ... A favour? In the form of a plant? Was he the best person to ask? ... Probably not. "I... I'm sorry about..." Her brother. Should have started school. "Yeah, I'll check on it. That's really nice that you planted something in his honour." Really.

The smile on Alec's face grew wider and wider as Minnie kept on talking. Of course the girl would end up doing something special. It was very... Minnie. "I... well, it's really nice of you. And would you be able to send cake?" He was modest, sure, but saying no to some of Minnie's cooking? That wasn't something he could do. "Since I'm missing your birthday too, can I... give you cake closer to the day?" ... Quickly. His complexion paled slightly and he fought the urge to frown. "I don't... know if I want it to end."

When she mentioned her feet, Alec looked down at them and then back up at the girl. She couldn't see them! He bit back a chuckle; pregnant woman were SCARY and the seventh year was smart enough to know not to anger them. "You're right, yeah," See? Smart. Nodnod. "I bet you're excited to be back to seeing Ethan on a daily basis?"

Kings Cross Station was one place that his parents were certainly not going to let him go off alone. Not yet anyway. He probably had a few more years to wait for that. So for now, Benjamin traveled to and inside the station with both mum and dad, the latter holding onto the chart while he held onto the cage of his new pet. Conrad and he had had a fun few weeks together as they got to know each other and now they were both heading off to Hogwarts together as Ben faced his second year.

"Coming there?" The older Atreyu called, catching his attention.

"Yeah Dad," Ben answered catching himself up with a few quicker steps, walking off with his family to the familiar platform.

natethegreat 12-27-2013 01:41 AM

The smell of the familiar train station was fresh in the air. With Thomas, Spencer, and Caelyn trailing behind him, Nate made his way into the square of Kings Cross Station. It was bustling with Muggles with the occasional Hogwarts student and parents. Sadly, Nate saw none of his other friends so far. It was a shame. This would be Nate's last year at Hogwarts, which would make it his last year to see all of his friends. That was a very bad thing. Nate would miss them all; Ella, Alec, and so much more! Nate was still semi-mad at Alec for taking the girl that Nate was madly in love with. Such a shame. He'd miss him.

Turning around he noticed that the others were so far behind that it wasn't even funny. "Hurry up! You don't want to be late for the train on your first year at Hogwarts, do you!? Time is of the essence here people!" Nate called back to the group. Tapping his foot very impatiently on the ground, he figured it would be like this. It was obvious that they'd be slow, with Thomas having to look after Spencer, and Spencer messing around with Caelyn. This would take a while. The noise was starting to iritate his Owl, Snowball. He quietly whispered into the cage "Sorry Snow." It was starting to iritate Nate that they might just miss the train! Looking into the crowd he noticed one of his dear friends Alec and.....was that Minnie?!?! "Alec! Minnie!" He shouted over the heads of people.

Caelen gasped as she ran after Nate. There were so many people! How many of these people were actually going to Hogwarts though? That was kind of an important question. And was there a door to this? Her brother told her that you had to run through a wall to get into the platform. And she didn't want to sound conceited or like she was whining, but Caelen wasn't exactly interested in pug face.

"I'm so going to beat you at that when I get back!" She was talking about a game she and her friend Spencer had played almost every day during the summer, when they would get tired of talking to everyone older than them. Caelen spent her time exploring inside the new enviorment and eventually found an attic with a bunch of old games and things inside. That was like the boredom ender machine. And she wasn't sure if anyone noticed when they took things like games and books either. Which reminded her.

"Also, make sure to put up the papers. I really want to start working on the crawl space." Caelen hoped Nate would do that, because she did not really want to decorate the room herself. Besides, was it really too much asking him to help what she had already started? Probably when it involved decorating a whole room.

Caelen took a second to pause and laugh at Nate and pushed Spencer gently. She wasn't trying to hurt him by any means, it was more of a playful little nudge. Or a love tap. But she didn't love him or anything. She was eleven. Boys were still icky to her.

And could Nate be any more annoying? He had been rushing them all morning! The redhead's stomach was already feeling weird with all of the peanut butter toast she had scarfed down because of him. She was a first year and wanted to look around! Stop rushing her!

And besides, the faster Nate said to move the slower she was making her and Spencer go. It gave them more time to converse and also made Nate angry, which was always funny. That was something the eleven year old had learned over the summer. Nate got funny when he was mad. Man she was evil.

Caelyn and Spencer got on his nerves sometimes. First they were running around, and now they're walking slow! What next!? They purposely become late so that way it would push ALL of his buttons.....and he meant ALL of them. They liked to torture him, though he gets payback because he's half their size and body weight. They'd never stand a chance. Both intellectually and physically he could take the both of them, combined down. He even stood a good chance against his oldest brother, Thomas. "Fine....then I'm gonna get you!" After he spoke those words he started to chase after Caelyn, and eventually picked her up in his arms, carrying her baby style.

Spence was having so much fun, watching his older brother and Caelyn off to Hogwarts. Immeadiately after she said that he replied back in a taunting voice "Nuh uh! I'm still going to be so much better then you"

Oh, what he was chasing her? She laughed as they ran, putting her stuff down. Spencer would hopefully grab that. Yeah right was she goign to get caught... yeah that didn't take long at all. Uggh he had to pick her up? He couldn't have grabbed her wrist and pulled her along? Even being pulled along like a kindergarten class would be better than being picked up like a toddler. She was eleven! She watched her brother do potions! She was a smart girl.

"Let me down! I can walk you know! I'm not a baby!" She looked over Nate's shoulder to Spencer and pleaded for him to help. Together they could take him. Probably. At least it was easier to carry her stuff like this. But now she couldn't chill with Spencer.

"Listen, you're taking my mom's request too seriously. You don't have to carry me. I'll be fine." Seriously, she wasn't going to die by walking to the train station. She was a big girl, even though she was about five feet tall.... she was a big girl in metaphor! She knew how to handle herself in life. Sort of.

The redhead stuck her tongue out at Spencer and laughed. "Yeah right! You don't have anything on my skill!" She was going to a school for wizards that he couldn't even go to yet -never mind that he was too young by a year-. She still had something on him.

But seriously though, she couldn't wait! She felt more excited now than she did when she got the letter and when her mom finally said she could go. She got to learn to use a wand -tucked safely in her front pocket because she was the president of bad ideas- and got to learn potions and such! She already started reading the books. She didn't get very far because she spent a lot of time playing old board games with Spencer.

Who by the way seemed to be enjoying this. Yeah, he would. The little fink. She was goign to have to prank him when she got home.

Potterlocked 12-27-2013 04:50 AM

Leonard had finally made it to the platform with his mother, thankfully his sisters and step-father had decided to stay at home so that they didn't end up causing too much of a scene. He couldn't have dealt with that, after the 30 minutes of their complaints and hugging and what not. So instead the eleven year old bit his lip as he walked alongside his mother pulling his trunk behind him.

So from what she had told him he had to run through a wall.

A WALL!!!!

He still couldn't see that happening. So he looked up to his mum, only to see her already smiling down at him as she reached over and ruffled his hair. Narrowing his eyes he tried in vain to flatten the curly brown hair, but that wasn't going to work. But his mother only laughed at his reaction, amusement shining in her eyes and he couldn't help but smile slightly. He was definitely going to miss his mother... and possibly his sisters.

Maybe.

"So that's where I have to go through?" he asked quietly as he looked at the pillar which had platform 9 on it and watched as a kid disappeared, eyes widening. So people could run through walls?

Oh this was definitely going to be an interesting school.

He watched as his mum smiled sadly, pulling him into a massive hug as she began saying the goodbyes that she'd been dreading all morning. Her eldest son was now going to Hogwarts, and being a muggle she didn't know much of what he was to expect.

Sarah pushed her trunk around in the public square for a moment, collecting her thoughts. She had waited the whole summer, eagerly awaiting a badge... but it never came. She allowed herself to cry for a bit, but now it was time to live. This too is for the best, perhaps it was better for her not to be a prefect this year... She was going to make the most of it. First of all, she was going to help out as best as she could.. especially with younger kids. She pasted a big smile on her face and snuck before the barrier. Then she made a run for it.
Had her mood been the cloudy one she had had the day before, she would have not minded the wall being a bit solid. But Sarah was not the type to mourn, she was the type to bounce back and bounce back she did. She ran through the barrier with such a big smile.
Sarah the Sixth Year is off to Hogwarts

Nate was enjoying this all to much. He decided to keep carrying her to torture her even more. "This is your punishment for disobeying me. I'll have to carry you all the way to the train from here. Even when running through the wall to get there. I'll try not to drop you...again." Then Nate started walking towards the wall to platform 9 and 3/4.

It would be a blast this year. His final year at Hogwarts....it would go out in a bang. There would be fun this year. Hogwarts is like a roller coaster to Nate. Years one through three is the line to get in. Fourth through sixth year is the ride to the highest point on the Roller Coaster. Then the seventh year is what everyone is waiting for; the ride after you hit the highest hill on the roller coaster. Yes there's it down falls, but there's also ups to it. There's many twists and turns. So many each term is unpredictable about what's going to happen next. Finally at the end of the ride, that's when you have to get off. Though, Nate would make this year last. He would have a fun time this year.

Oh wow, this was a good way to make friends. Be carried around like an overgrown baby. No this wasn't going to doom her at all! Man she wished Spencer got to go to school with her. At least he could be the brunt of her jokes and she wouldn't get every joke or prank dumped on her. That's what she got for being the younger sister. At least she could use what her brother did on Spencer... Oh wait she couldn't. Dang, her mom messed up everything!

Anyway.......

"No, thanks mate. I really love being carried around!" If common sense wouldn't work, maybe sarcasm would. Although knowing him he wouldn't listen. Man she wished she hadn't packed her books so she could start hitting him with them. They were pretty heavy too. She saw it work in a cartoon once. A cartoon with a tiny blue alien in it. Besides, she had a nice arm and okay aim -thank you aunty for that one- and might actually get somewhere.

But her books were packed away into her suitcase and she had no weapons at her disposal. She was sunk until he let her down, or dropped her. Please drop her, please drop her. That was literally her last hope here.

"You know, this isn't half-bad. I don't have to walk at all and I can get some more sleep." So that was like half true. She didn't exactly mind being carried but if she could chose any other method of transportation, she would. Especially Segway. They just kind of looked awesome. Truth be told, this was an interesting conversation starter, albeit a little humiliating to talk about. She probably at least had a reputation now.

The head head flipped her red hair over her shoulder, taking care to wack Nate in the face with the ponytail. Hehe she was evil. And with that, she moved around a bit and looked at Spencer.

"Spence, get your butt in gear! I'm all alone up here besides the ratfink who's holding me. She actually had no plans for what she wanted to do at Hogwarts yet, besides study a lot -thanks mom- but she figured that it was going to be interesting one way or another.

Seri had easily found her way back to Kings Cross, she had a funny habit of remembering stuff like that, and even so, the muggle cab driver had given her exact directions in here, though she had told him her train was on platform 3, as far as her cabbie was aware, platform nine and three quarters did not exist.

It wasn't actually paticularly satisfying to have a whole trunk full of new... everything. Infact, she was pretty happy she still had her muggle clothes on, because they smelt of home. As happy as she was to be going back to Hogwarts, she sure missed her family. As they weren't here to see her off (she'd insisted she was old enough to go by herself), she didn't have any reason not go straight to the platform. She hadn't even bothered with a trolley, all she had was her trunk, she checked the ticket in her pocket, and had a look around at all the muggles, she'd been living amongst them for three years, it was almost sad to be leaving to a world of complete magic. For this reason, she was happy her oldest brother had given her a muggle phone/ipod/camera thing, Joey always referred to the non-magic world as 'the real world', so she guessed he thought she'd like a little part of 'the real world' for Hogwarts. She sighed with a nostalgic smile and moved on.

Kace was turning around about the face the wall, when he heard a familiar voice. He knew that voice anywhere. Then she saw Adi! He smiled and beamed at him. "Yup that is me the one and only!" he said jokingly. "How was your summer dude?" he asked him.

Minerva couldn’t help but smile at Alec he was always one to cheer her up no matter what. She thought about a few times during the last few terms. Ice cream in the stands, couch time in the common room. She used him for support more times than she could count last term when she found out certain things were happening. “Works great. I love working with the pregnant women and the babies in the nursery. Gives me experience watching the healers and learning off of them as well as actually holding babies. So best of both worlds.” She was super happy with her job and she could never fully thank E’s mom for helping her get it. She looked at him strange. He was hiding something sister’s know when the little bro is hiding stuff. “What aren’t you telling me? You didn’t break up or something did you?” If they broke up Min would be heartbroken she loved both of them but she would lay the smack down if Ella hurt him, but she’d probably do the same to him if he hurt her. So torn to have friends dating. She just kept eyeing him he needed to speak quickly and carefully.

“Oh I don’t know about that. I just know you will be great.” She wasn’t just saying it to make him feel good. She watched him through the years. He was a super leader and he had grown up so much. Super proud she was. “Thank you it was all Ethan’s idea. He’s the plant lover, but it was a great idea I’m so glad he thought of it.” She really was especially at a time she really didn’t like plants. Last term she liked going in and sitting near it, she felt closer not only to Jake, but Ethan as well.

A chuckle left her, “Of course I’ll send cake it’s not that far of a flight for Liesel just give her treats when she get there.” She shook her head, “You don’t have to send me anything just promise you will come see your nephew when you’re on Christmas break and that will be the best birthday present I could ask for.” She grinned at him, he knew she wasn’t really into her birthday so it shouldn’t be a surprise she wasn’t caring if he sent cake. Sweet thought though and she did appreciate it. Putting an arm around him she gave a tight smile, she knew exactly what he meant. “I know you don’t, but just enjoy it while you can. That’s all you can really do and I’ll cross my fingers it’s a good term.” He deserved a good term. No crazy things going on she was thankful for that part of her term last year.

Did she like seeing E on a daily basis of course she did. “I do. It’s better than great. I think we fit the married role well. I enjoy being a wife and stuff. It’s nice.” She smiled happily. She was truly happy with this. It was her happiness and no one could take that from her.

Aargh! Late! Leah and her family woke up pretty early this morning, but was still hurrying to the Platform.

They had finished breakfast when the family realized that they did not have any floo powder left. So they had to change their original plan so that they took a muggle taxi to Kings Cross. Then they realized (again) that they did not have any muggle money, so they went all they way back home, picked up some cash, paid the driver, got a severe scolding from him, and reached the Public Square at last.

"Platform... Nine..." The girl muttered, wiping sweat from her forehead. "Come on, dad. Come on!" She shouted, looking over her shoulder. Her parents, huffing and puffing, pushing her luggage trolley and kneazle carrier. Leah herself was carrying an owl cage in her hand. Her Eagle Owl gave an irritated ruffle of feathers. When her parents had finally caught up with her, Leah looked down at her ticket. "Platform Nine and Three Quarters." She whispered, "it's that wall, isn't it?" She asked her parents, looking up at her parents. "OK, here we go..."

Calisto just walked into the station with a smile on her face this was the day. Callie smiled. Calisto pushed all her stuff on the trolley and she was off to go find the platform.

This was Lily's last term. Walking into the station, she remembered what it was like to walk through here back when she was just entering her first term, how scared she was. Now she walked through the station like she owned the place, her trunk carefully placed in the center of her trolley with Phoenix, her snowy owl, and her broom balancing carefully on top. She even had the cheek, now that she was a full witch, to wear her ravenclaw quidditch sweater around the muggle platform. Pushing her trolley further into the station, Lily turned looking for Tay in the crowd of people. Where was she?? She seriously was as hard to find as a muggle at hogwarts...

Taylor sauntered into the Public Square and looked around for Lily. She had promised her best friend that she would see her off. It didnt take long to find her since there was an owl, a broom and a ravenclaw quidditch sweater all in one play. Tay walked up to her and cleared her throat, "Trying to tell the world what you are and that there are more to see than what they think?" Tay tsked at her and took off her sunglasses with a hand that had freshly manicured nails... a French manicure design that had blue and bronze. She did a hair flip and placed her sunglasses on the top of her head. Taylor placed her hands on her hips and showed off her outfit before crossing her arms. "Lets get you to the platform before someone starts to wonder about you." Tay tried to usher Lily over to the wall then paused and laughed. "Oh I forgot!" Taylor hugged her friend and then pulled out three presents, handing them to her. One was a broom cleaning kit, one was a Ravenclaw journal and one was a photo album of pictures they have taken together, moving ones of course. "Now dont open these until we get out of this part." She smiled and twirled.

Pregnant women and babies... "And... hey, that'll be great practice for when Peanut comes into the world," At this, he smiled down at her belly, as if he was smiling at the baby. HEY there Peanut! Did he know that his uncle was nearby? Or was he good at detecting whether only Ethan was nearby? "He's coming along nicely, right? And... so are you?" ... Break up?! "I... no no no! Erm... no, we're great. It's..." Would Ells be mad? "She's not the Captain anymore because... she got the Head Girl badge." Which meant that he snogged the Head Girl. This sounded VERY good to the seventh year.

"I know," About the great older sister part. "And thanks! It's... just big shoes to fill, you know?" Curly Wade... Oakster... Treyen! And the other Head Boys too. Just... yeah. He didn't feel like a leader. Not yet. "Anytime! I... is he studying plants?" Yeah, Alec knew about Ethan's love for plants. He also knew that Ethan would have exposure to good man-eating plants. Scary much? "Do you two have a plant for your brother at home?" That wasn't a bad question to ask, right?

He grinned. Full on GRINNED at the mention of cake. "Yeah, of course! Balt won't like sharing but... yeah, I'll give her lots," Nodnod. ... Did Minnie think she was getting away with not getting anything for her own birthday? "I'll come and see him, yeah! But... Minnie? You know that I... will bring a gift too, right?" It was only fair. Feeling an arm around him, the boy looked over at alumni and smiled a little. "Thanks. I'll... try and make it the best year ever." His grey-blue eyes glanced over at the wall before looking back at Minnie and smiling properly.

Better than great. Alec really liked the sound of that. "I bet you'll fit the parents role well, too." She was good at looking after this awkward, gangly seventh year. A baby should be easy... right?

Ah yes. He could see Kace now that he was squinting and what not. But he still found all the light painful so he fixed his cap back over his eyes and carefully made his way over to his friend. "Hiya, buddy!'' Adi was quite pleased to see his friend. "Summer was pretty much okay. Just practicing the guitar and catching up with all the Muggle folks. How about you? Did you and your family go anywhere?'' Like another country or something? "Ready for third year?'' Adi continued without giving Kace a chance to reply.

Kace chuckled. The same old Adi. Now Kace had to remember all his questions. "My summer was fun! I went to sport camps this summer. I mostly played football and soccer." he shrugged and i mean his tanned skin didn't stick out or anything or his blonde hair that seemed highlighted but it was the summer sun that did it. "Oh and you practice guitar?" he asked curiously.

He asked if his family went anywhere and he thought about it. "Ergghh no we didn't go anywhere. But i did go with my friends family on a cruise to the Bahamas." he grinned. If that counts? That was early in the summer though. Then he asked if he was prepared for his third year. He nodded and said, "Yeah i think i am. I wonder what is in store for us."

Hawthorne walked briskly, her father at her side. Her trunk was held by the two of them, one holding up each end. In her other hand she held her toad carrier, Timothy sleeping safely inside. She didn't want to miss the train, so they made their way as quickly as possible into the station.

The skinny (almost scrawny) boy of about twelve years of age walked ahead of his mother as though he were the parent in that operation. It wasn't his fault that his legs had grown so that his strides were bigger now or that his mother always wore what he thought of as decidedly impractical footwear that left her ever-painted toes exposed. Silly woman she was.

But necessary. Which he was reminded of when he turned to ask her about the jelly slugs and had she remembered to bring them along as well. She hadn't and claimed to have forgotten them in their car. Along with the boy's winter things.

"Cutty, don't...Look at me!" Soheir had to assert herself whenever trying to implant something of particular importance and she turned Cutty by the shoulders so that they were eye-to-eye. Her son, however had the most non-chalant, blanked-out, and mirthless little smile she had never wanted to see him with. "I'm going to fetch something from the car and I will be right back. Do. Not. Move."

Was he listening to her?

It was like she didn't trust him or something. Honestly. What's the worst thing he could've done by moving. Although he had grown, Cutty Mordaunt was still rather on the shrimpy side and this allowed him to take his largest piece of luggage and use it as a make shift seat without causing it to creak beneath his weight. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a packet of muggle bubble gum and presumably he intended to chew the whole thing then and there by the way he had been popping one piece after the other into his pie-hole. That was about when he saw him...

Man. Walking. Hands in pockets...and talking...to himself? No. What brazenness was this?! He was talking to invisible company. Cutty had read of such things. Not to mention, been told of them by his good neighbour, Sir Honeydraught, who was always smiling his gold smile at the boy and informing him on the ways of the world in the absence of the boys father. And for the man to have been talking to an invisible somebody, he must've been a wizard. And so too must've been the invisible somebody...named Mordaunt?

"Ay-yew?" Not the politest choice of words, but uttered with a certain amount of care. "Who ya talkin' to?"

Soheir said nothing about talking to strangers be they magic or mundane.

Year after year, the plaza started to get crowded with children, both magical and muggle who were all heading towards their respective boarding schools. Funny how Mordred can easily pick out those who belong to the magical world. It’s either children being accompanied by weird parents…or weird children being accompanied by weird parents. It was during that moment that he realized why his late mother tried her best to make her family ‘look’ as muggle as possible.

Mordred started to head for the platforms when the weirdest thing happened. Someone…a child…sitting on top of a trunk, chewing gum started talking to him. He knew it was proper to turn around and acknowledge the supposed greeting, but the way this child addressed was displeasing. “Don’t they teach their offsprings some manners these days?” he thought as his brows furrowed in irritation. He spun around, hands inside his pockets and looked at the child from head to foot. “Weird kid. Weird looking trunk. A Hogwartian.” He thought. “I didn’t know they teach such manners back at Hogwarts.” Mordred smirked and crossed his arms. “...I can see you're curious about my invisible company...let me just tell you that it's none of your business, kid.” He then examined the rest of the kid’s belongings. “...where are your parents? You have to get going.” He said and looked at the station’s clock then back to the kid.

He'd done it. Popped every last piece of bubblegum from the pack into his mouth and now Cutty Mordaunt was preparing to blow what he hoped would be the largest bubble King's Cross Station had ever seen the likes of. Then the man spoke and at first Cutty was not terribly surprised by the question. Many, young and old had the tendency to question his politeness. But when the man had pinpointed the fact that he went to Hogwarts 'n such, Cutty's already buggy eyes bulged, the gum resting in a protruding wad on the side of his mouth. "Ayeh! It is my business. I heard you sayin' m'dad's name." Cutty shot a glance toward the street parking sort of giving away where his parents (or parent, as it were) had gone.

He felt oddly safe, though. No way this man would kill him. Here. In front of all of these people. Or would he? He was, afterall using invisibility magic out and about with muggles present. The thought actually did frighten Cutty a little, but he wasn't given time to remark on this fact, because his mother was already heading back.

From what Soheir could see, her son was apparently engaged in a conversation with a young...and HELLO! quite fetching young man. She would've liked to have congratulated him were it not that her concern in the situation was actually not for Cutty, but for the man. "Cutty Mordaunt!"

Faster than her heels could carry her, she hoped her voice reached and would stop her son from antagonizing the man. "I am so sorry." She uttered to the man and picking up the pieces of Cutty's luggage when she finally reached them. "He won't do it again, I promise and I'm sure we can pay for it." It was as if she had said it all before. "C'mon, Cutty get your things. We'll be late for the train."

Mordred slightly raised both of his brows at the boy. “Merlin…you chew like a goat.” He smirked and shook his head. If the boy was Ethan—his younger cousin, he would already have lectured him about manners…and chewing gum. People often use it to mask their being coward, based on his observation as he accompanied his father these past two years. Both of his parents are accomplished aurors, and Mordred knew that he was about to follow the same path as his parents. That course shifted though, after his mother’s death. Aldrich Mordaunt did not want his only son to tread the dangerous path. Albeit his son’s protests, he stood firm with his decision and forced Mordred to study something else. The son, understanding his own father’s grief bowed down and studied dragons, instead. It offered the same action and adventure he craved, and decided to pursue that career further.

But, wait. What did he say? His father’s name? Mordred blinked, and shifted his weight from his left foot to his right. “This is really, really weird.” There can be no way that this kid is a Mordaunt. His father won’t mind, but his late mother would be appalled. The way this child carries himself around is nowhere near how Mordred was raised. His father, uncles and grandfather all shared the highest form of upbringing…except for one uncle, though Aldred never showed his wild side whenever his father was around. “…do I know him? Because I’m a Mordaunt.” Mordred tilted his head further examining the child and stuffed his hands in his pockets.

He shifted his stare from the child…to the woman who called out the kid’s name. “Cutty Mordaunt. That…doesn’t ring a bell. At all.” He examined the woman this time, all stressed and worked up over the boy’s mess. “A rascal, I see. I wonder if he’s adopted.” Because there was no way Mordred will make a mess and shame his own mother in front of anyone.

Mordred stepped up and helped the woman as she started picking up Cutty’s belongings. “He didn’t do anything, ma’am.” He said and glanced over to where Cutty was sitting. Mordred then saw the ends of the boy’s winter scarf that was caught in his closed and most probably over-stuffed trunk that he was sitting on. Silver and green. “A Slytherin.” He murmured and looked at the boy. “Well…that’s saying something…” He was…worried.

Oh, oh thank Merlin! Soheir's thoughts were of relief as she realized Cutty had not destroyed this man's property or any some such thing. A good thing, since the agreed-upon amount of galleons Adonis Mordaunt was meant to have sent at the beginning of the month hadn't yet arrived. It was still the beginning of the month and they would've had time, but she hated spending money before she had it and her job at the travel agency wasn't enough. She needed a better one, but what's a hoodwinker to do?

They seemed to have been discussing names from the man's comment. And the man was apparently a wizard and familiar enough with the houses that he could spot the silver and green of her old house.

"Probably not." Cutty began working out the wad of bubblegum. "He's not from around here." But to be honest, Cutty wasn't extremely familiar with the Mordaunts beyond his father, one aunt who had married, and his grandparents. For all he knew they could've migrated many years ago from Great Britain (and in fact, they did). If this man was called Mordaunt, then perhaps there was no invisible friend. The boy noted that the man called Mordaunt didn't seem to be acknowledging anyone else since the initiation of their conversation. Probably, he had been talking to himself...OUTLOUD! Cutty hid his smirk with his bubblegum chewing because he was a rat fink.

Soheir had begun to try and stuff the loose piece of the scarf into the luggage but it was a lot trickier to do without the use of magic. Finally, she gave up and in her gradual regaining of her cool she realized what else the man had said. "Trust me, I've often thought he might have been a changeling. No, unfortunately, he's mine." She wasn't blind to his mischievousness, but she never could solve it and that was a little embarrassing. "His father is from Canada, but I'm not sure, he might be English. That is interesting, however. I don't meet that many Mordaunts."

If there was a time Mordred felt blessed, it was that very moment. Though his family came from the old elite class, he was thankful that his family can still be considered normal. “Where is he, your father? It would be lovely to meet him.” Because to him, the Mordaunts are on the brink of extinction.

“I too have a younger cousin to look after. He’s…well, a handful as well.” he said and turned to the woman. Maybe not as crazy as Cutty, but Ethan was still a ball of energy that Mordred must contain from time to time. The young man though, blames Ethan’s absentee father. Ethan was noticeably becoming clingy every time. In fact, Mordred had a hard time persuading the boy to ride the Durmstrang ship earlier. Mordred hated to part with his cousin, but it was his responsibility to make sure that Ethan, like all parents get their children or charges to their respective schools safely and receive a high quality education.

But, hold on. “Is your husband a wizard?” Based on Mordred’s family tree, his family is one of the remaining pure-bloods in the wizarding world. “I share the same sentiment regarding Mordaunts. I personally think that our bloodline is a unique one…” But apparently that is not the case anymore.

Kita/Alec!

Ok. So maybe this was the last time Tag would be coming here. Most likely yes. He never remembered ever using Kings Cross for anything un-Hogwarts related so he just stood about a bit. Hmmm. This was a strange feeling.

Anyway, Tag was leaning against the wall, right by the entrance of the station waiting for Alec. Alec was supposed to meet him up here, yeah? That's what they had planned. Hopefully the brunette wouldn't take forever to get here. Or maybe, yes, take all the time Alec. Tag just kinda wanted to stay here, elongate summer for as long as he could. C'mon Alec. It wasn't that hard to find Tag. He wasn't so short right now, so his hair would be more recognizable.

Of course Alec was going to come and see Tag off! His second favourite blonde was headed off to Hogwarts! He just... had to be here.

Despite being somewhat excited about coming here, the boy was running a little late. There were a number of reasons why, with the top one being a debate with his Dad on whether he should take mac and cheese for the blonde. He wouldn't need it, right? Probably had some sort of lunch packed, or would get lots of sweets from the train, yeah? ... Shrug.

But he was here. King's Cross. And it was only as he was rushing into the busy station that he realised how... weird this was. No Hogwarts. And in its place, there would be other things like driving lessons, paying rent and, of course, Quidditch. It was just weird, yeah? Frowning to himself, the nearly nineteen year old stood off to one side of entrance. Where had he said he'd meet--

TAG!

... Must let a group of Muggles go by first...

... and then he headed over towards the Gryffindor. "Hey, Mr Seventh Year," he said, reaching over and ruffling the leprechaun's hair, "Think you're ready?"

Waiting waiting waiting. OH, look at the time. Why was the Hogwarts train scheduled to leave so early? Like, can't the kids stay in for sleep some more hours? Thank you, irish man would appreciate it. Tag yawned a bit as he saw people passing by, so many. Would he perhaps catch a glimpse of another Hogwarts student making their way through?

AH! There he was. Ok. Yes. Hair ruffles were in order. Alec would probably miss doing that for the next couple of months.... Anyway. There he was, finally. "Thought you were going to be late." Tag said smiling a bit. No proper send off from his best friend.

He wasn't a seventh year.

"Not a seventh year." Nods. "Just a really old student going to school. Graduating." That was the proper term Alec had been looking for. But, now to be sirius. "Yeah. I suppose. Kinda crept up on us, don't you think?" For both of them. Graduating. Or at least in Tag's case almost. They'd met six years ago at the duck pond.

That's what Alec meant by 'ready', right? About Hogwarts? Not actually getting onto the train. And Mr. Seventh year? "What happened to being your Sweetcheeks?" Tag much preferred that nickname than Mr. Seventh Year.

Angel had some how gotten separated from her sisters, she was a bit upset about that but it meant she was the first one to try and find the platform she was looking for, there was 9 and there was 10 but there was no platform in the middle, maybe someone had forgotten to build it or maybe it was supposed to say platform 9 and it left at 9.45am, she looked at the board on platform 9 and say that there was no trains to going to Hogwarts but then again they wouldn't say that would they it would make the non magic folks suspicious maybe it was in code but then which train would it be.

Angel was totally confused now, this was weird and without her sister there she was looking a complete weirdo with her Owl and her trunks and stuff. She was sure that if someone saw what was in her trunks she would be sent to the nearest place for loonies, though she couldn't really think about that at the minute where on earth was this train she was supposed to be getting and better still how did she get to it.

Bay lugging his things behind him on a trolly he spotted a young girl who looked utterly confused. Might as well try to help right? making his way over to her he said "hey.. you look lost? can I help you?" he didn't want to say outright if she was going to Hogwarts because this little girl could be a muggle for all he knew, but what was the harm in helping.

"I can help you find where you need to go, or at least attempt" he said for almost the second time. Looking around he was wondering if he could spot Lux, Lou or Cris or anyone he knew really. He wanted to sit with them on the train.

Third year already?!

Ben could hardly believe it himself, remembering the start of Hogwarts like it was yesterday. Yet here he was, with trunk and owl heading though Kings Cross to head to Platform 9 3/4's. Thankfully Conrad was behaving and not creating a ruckus that he couldn't handle. It wasn't like he had his parents with him this time, or at least close. The Gryffindor could sense them around but they were trying to give the new teenager space.

Another change.

Rolling his trolley along amongst the hustle and bustle of the station he almost didn't notice the girl looking lost until he absently looked around for any familiar faces and came upon her in the process. "Um...hi," he greeted as he approached, taking the chance namely cause of the owl. Only wizards had owls in cages...right?

He would have asked if she was lost but Bay had beaten him to it. Somehow he had missed the older boy's own movements in the crowd. So instead he paused frozen unsure what to say but not wanting to crowd her.

He didn't spot Benny!!! he was so happy to see him "how are you mate!" he said with a big smile, then as soon as he said that this young girl called him "sir" who was she calling sir? clearing his throat he said "hmmmm… are you sure?" he didn't address the sir thing because this girl had no clue, clearly. Plus he was a little mad at the comment he just had spent his first year at Hogwarts like an old man and he didn't want to be reminded of it. Nope not at all.

Standing around in this area with all his school stuff wasn't a good idea, they weren't supposed to linger around here because you know to many muggles. okay this was kind of getting awkward now, "bodyguard?" what is wrong with this girl? and then she spoke yet again, she was looking for a platform that doesn't exists. He said quietly "you looking for Hogwarts?" Looking up at Benny he hoped he would jump in more and help a bro out because this little girl seemed a bit crazy, like come on really how old did she think he was?

Angel was about to run away from the stranger because seriously she was sure he was at least 25 or something maybe he was a big wig at some posh place when another guy came up-to her, this was scary now and Angel was a bit scared though this guy at least was cute, she had no idea why she thought that. "You his bodyguard?" Angel was starting to wonder if the guy who had asked if she was lost was some big star or something because they had bodyguards right. "I'm looking for a platform that doesn't exists, maybe I came to the wrong station." Angel didn't want to let the two men know she was looking for Hogwarts for all she knew they were muggles.

Okay so that hadn't been the response Benny might have thought he...or Bay for that matter would have gotten from the girl. She looked worried about the older boy like he was a danger or something. Speaking of which, Bay had noticed his arrival. "I'm alright," he answered before return to look at the younger girl.

Bodyguard? Huh? Was he whose bodyguard?

The only time he guarded anyone was when he tried to keep bludgers away from his teammates. "I'm not a bodyguard. I'm a student." Of Hogwarts the very school Bay had mentioned quietly. Conrad squawked making his presence known and Benjamin turned to calm his familiar. "Shuuu...its okay." The owl quieting down after resettling on his perch.

"And the platform does exist," he added quietly so only the other two could hear as he turned back around to face them. You just had to know where to look for it that was all.

Casey/Mari

So this was it. This year she was going to Hogwarts. Finally. No more homeschool. No more being bored. Freedom, and fun. Friends and real professors. Not that her nana wasn't a good teacher retired primary magic teacher in fact. But she was 13 now time to learn the big stuff now.

She was pushing the trolley with her trunk, stache's owl cage, and her cat who was curled up on her trunk. Her dad was somewhere behind her. The third year was way to excited to turn around to see where he was. Her mission was to find platform 9 3/4. Which was the wall between platform 9 and 10 according to her dad.

Did she have everything? She should she check twice last night before she went to sleep and once before they left this morning. She stopped and turned around. Where did he go? He was right behind her. Well she would just stand here pet her new cat think of a name for it and wait for her dad to catch up.

"Yeah I'm sure sir." Angel smiled at the man in front of her, bless him for trying to help but really he was like in his twenties so surely he wouldn't know about Hogwarts, maybe he was a policeman. Then the guy whispered something to her that she couldn't make out.. "Oh are you a muggle policeman?" Angel beamed, so cool was he undercover like that Columbo person on t.v was?

He looked a lot younger than the sir he was with, maybe the other person was this guys father but she wasn't going to ask that in case she was wrong. "Oh you know how to get to Hogwarts?" Angel whispered to this guy making sure the other guy couldn't here her. "Can you help me?" Angel liked this guys, he really was cute.

"thats good" he was glad that Benny was alright, better then the crazy girl over here at least. seeing his owl start to make some noise and Ben right away calming him down. He smiled, Ziggy was somewhere in his pile of stuff napping away in his cage.

His eyes totally almost just popped out of his head. "I'm 16, you don't need to call me sir?" he said, he wasn't wearing a suit or anything he was wearing a sweater and sweat pants, how does he look like a sir. OKAY now this girl was getting crazier and crazier. "ummm no, I'm a student…..at…..Hogwarts" he said, looking over at Benny and giving her a look that said can you believe this one? ughhhhh he didn't want to look old, maybe the potion he used to cure himself hasn't fully kicked in yet.

Dont' panic Bay, no need to freak out. "Maybe I should leave Ben here to help you" he said in a huff and started to turn to walk away.

Yes, Alec was going to miss giving Tag hair ruffles. A year was a long time, you know. And as much as he'd love to be dragging the Gryffindor along to see flats and cottages in Tutshill the following week, he knew that the boy had to leave and graduate. And he thought he was going to be late? "Do you really think I'd miss this?"

Not a Seventh Year? Erm...? Alec furrowed his eyebrows. Neither of them were old -- the grey hairs and wrinkles had long since passed -- so why was Tag denying his year? "You... you graduate in your seventh year." Obvious, he was. And confused. Shrug. And he supposed. The former Hufflepuff nodded slowly at that, understanding exactly what the boy meant. "Yeah, it did. Feels like it was just yesterday when I was tackling you by the duck pond when you first told me your name." This was why the duck pond was so special to them.

Yes, that's what he meant by being ready. Ready for Hogwarts. Ready to be a seventh year.

GRIN. "You'll always be my Sweetcheeks," he said, nudging the boy gently, "Even... even when we're in our fifties and you..." Think, Summers, think! "... beat me in bingo."

He was walking to faaast! She was gonna drop her dolly if he didn't slow down! "uncle dere!" too fast! the four year old bounced behind her uncle trying to keep up. Her mother was somewhere behind them but she wanted to be with him seeing as how he was about to leave her AGAIN for goodness knows how long. "I cant!" she shouted before tripping over her own shoe as it came unclipped and was falling off her foot. her doll flew out of her hand and she landed on the ground in a THUD. her mummy was going to yell at her. this was a new dress.

He was completely unaware his niece was right behind him. to his knowledge she was still back with his sister. He had his trolley thing and the time to worry about. he wanted to get to THROUGH the barrier by fifteen till so that he could load up and stuff. He also wanted to be able to sit with his niece for a few moments before going through the thing. until he heard he yell that she couldn't something.... Pulling back on the trolley he turned to see his little niece faceplanted in the floor and her doll laying a foot away from her. "Aww, 'Kayla." she was so cute. pulling back on his cart he pulled it back to where she was and helped her up. "what are you doing, crazy girl?"

Back at Hogwarts. Marigold grinned at her parents as they made their way to the Platform. Sigh. She nudged her dad's arms out of the way and took control of the trolley. SHEESH, she could do it herself. Hair fluff and wink attached. Her parents decided to go talk to "some other people" and so she left her trolley to say hi to people.

The first lucky person was a girl who looked around her age and new. "HI!"

Of course Alec wouldn't miss this. Tag had full faith in the guy. Even if the guy was running late he'd probably apparate himself onto the train just so he couldn't miss Tag. "No. Never. You were just running a bit behind. I was getting worried. But, never, would you miss this." There weren't any second chances when it came to the day the Hogwarts express left.

"Yes. I do graduate in seventh year. I'm not a seventh year." Wink. Just go with it Alec. It was probably a thing that all seventh years didn't want to recognize themselves as a seventh year. It was a hard thought. Something difficult to process. Yes, obvious Alec was obvious. "I wouldn't be surprised if that had actually happened yesterday. And if it hadn't, you imagination was probably so vivid you tricked yourself into thinking it had happened." Tag said with another smile. He could see Alec doing something like that.

Man. Adult. Then Tag laughed. Bingo. Gosh. He couldn't even remember if he ever played that game in his life. "Jumping up with joy when we've figured out we have all the letters taken. What about exploding snaps? Too dangerous for our old age?" Let's not think about old age here.

Anyone???

Arista had made her parents stay outside no way was she going to have her classmates, future friends see her mum give her a lecture about manners and her father give her a lecture about safety. She would have enough to be embarrassed about at school, like how she gave a curtsy sometimes when she introduced herself, a habit she was yet to break.

But now she wished she knew how to find the platform... There was no 9 and 3/4. She casually looked around, she couldn't ask any of the muggles, they would surely think her crazy and how could she tell if they were muggles or wizards. She looked around gosh you think her magical mum would have told her how to get onto the platform. She looked around maybe someone could tell her how...

Beverly Wayne didn't exactly feel like royalty, but something close to it as she rode the trolley, shades on, and sat on her trunk as her brother pushed it. The perks of being a little sister, she took advantage of them.

"I have my wand and parchment and quills and uniforms and everything else I might need," she said just as Kennedy opened his mouth to speak. They'd gone over this ever since they left home, he was just too predictable.

"And--" She didn't get to finish. Right up ahead were two familiar figures, and without intending to, her eyes lit up. "Stop the trolley!" she squeaked, already hopping off of it, and almost giving her brother a mild heart attack.

Trying to seem ever so casual, the now fourth year strode over, picking up the doll McKayla had dropped and approached them.

"I'd say she's more adventurous," Beverly chimed in, poking Jeremiah on his side, a small grin dancing on her lips. Hi.

What did she think she was doing jumping off the trolley like that?!

Not that he was freaking out or anything, but she could have fallen or broken a bone. He'd be done for if she even as much got a scratch. Kids. The reckless bunch, they were. Following his sister, Kennedy wore an unimpressed look on his face when he saw who it was that had inspired her to jump off a moving trolley.

The Boy. Of course, who else would it be?

"too fast, Uncle dere." She looked up at the gryffindor with her lip pouting and these big eyes that just made the boys heart melt and she knew it. "My Shoe!" pointing down at her barefoot she reveled to the boy that her shoe was missing at it was entirely his fault. Pouty lip still happening her mouth dropped open when she saw her dolly was GONE from where it just laid... "WHE----" Oh.. there it was.... With Beverly!!!! The pout turned to a huuuuge grin as she saw the girl "Eberly!" and she was clinging to the girls leg. she LIKED Beverly and in the four year olds mind Beverly should stay with her. yup.

He felt so bad for being the reason she fell down and possibly hurt herself by th way that pouty lip looked. "I'm Sorry, Niece. i didn't know you we're right behind me. i thought you we're with mummy still." where was that sister of his? he looked behind the small blonde child for her mother when he niece shouted something then mentioned Beverly. HE smiled a bit hearing her say her name "she'd not he...." she was here... and McKayla was clinging to her and she had her doll.

"She fell on her face, i'd doubt that fall under adventurous." maybe if she did it on purpose, but she didn't. It's been a whole month and some odd days since he'd seen his friend and he was excited to get to see her every day again... her brother was here too.......... meep. maybe he could Hide behind 'Kayla... if she ever unclinged herself from Beverly. She was cute enough, yeah?

There was a child clinging to her leg, an extremely rare sight for Beverly herself. McKayla was welcomed to do so, she's grown on the Slytherin over the summer. Patting her hair, Beverly tore her eyes from Jeremiah and glanced down at the blonde.

"Hey...are you alright?" Holding the doll out to the girl, she added, "Here's you doll, keep her close, okay?" Because with the amount of people around here the thing could get trampled.

Lifting her gaze towards Jeremiah, Beverly raised an eyebrow. "Of course, it does. Don't you know you fall plenty when on an adventure?" She was making that up, but it made sense in her head. What was he looking--oh, right. Her giant of a brother was here too and...he'd better not be scowling at Jeremiah!

"You can at least greet him," she mumbled in Kennedy's direction. Merlin. He was SO rude.

Kennedy would be lying if the little girl clinging to his sister wasn't cute. It was. Beverly was like the Wednesday Addams of the family when it came to spending time with her cousins. Either way, he couldn't help but glower keep an eye on the boy.

Great, now he was being chastised by a fourteen-year-old. He was the older sibling here, okay, Beverly. But as the good brother he was, Kennedy greeted the boy. And McKayla, his eyes softening when he smiled at her. "Hey, how's it going?"

There. Happy?

She was alright now! Beverly was here and she'd surely stay with her she just knew he would! Nodding as she clung to her leg she looked up at the girl who she'd come to look up to slightly over the summer. "i fell down." She had her Dolly! taking the doll from her she clung to her leg again as she heard another man's voice................... who was that..... she didn't like strangers.. they we're dangerous.. nope.

This. Was. Adorable.

Jeremiah couldn't help the grin on his face as he watched his niece cling and talk to her. Good luck was needed for Ana when she had to peel her off Beverly. She was clearly mistaken though cause Jeremiah himself had been on PLENTY of adventures and had never, not once fallen, except for that one time with Mike but we don't mention it. "do not." he scoffed slightly at her. "i've been on plenty of adventure and never not once fallen." if she was falling on adventures she was doing it wrong. what was up with his niece? "McKayla.... you remember Kennedy, dont you?" he said looking at the girl. all eyes off him, yup. he couldn't help but smirk juuuust slightly when Beverly snapped at him to greet him, heh cute. "hey." he got a cool!nod cause he was doing that now, just nodding with greetings or.. at least he was trying it out. Merlin help him if he died today from it.

"I saw. Good thing your uncle is here to pick you up, huh?" All smirks at Jeremiah 'cause she'd witnessed stuff that were, admittedly, cute over the summer. Oh, wait, McKayla didn't remember Kennedy? "That's my big brother," she pointed out helpfully. The baboon may seem broody and all, but she was still proud as hell to call him her brother.

Oh, really? Jeremiah thought he knew all about adventures. Puh-lease!

"Then it wasn't that much of a fun and challenging adventure," she countered with a raise of an eyebrow. Which soon fell back in its place when Kennedy followed orders through. He was just a big bear of grumpiness right now, but he was being nice.

Shooting him a grin, she looked back at Jeremiah. Oh. That was cool. Was the nod impressive enough for Kennedy? HMM?

How could McKayla not remember him? It was like forgetting about magic, because he was just that great, you know? Oh well, children had that short memory span, right? "I visited you, remember?" Did she forget about the lollipop?

What was the boy doing? Did he forget how to speak?

Cocking an eyebrow, Kennedy returned that nod of his slowly. "Hey back at you." And he SAW that...this. Their little banter. Ugh. Could Beverly go back to that clingy little eight-year-old that burned cookies?

"That's my big brother," she pointed out helpfully. The baboon may seem broody and all, but she was still proud as hell to call him her brother.

Oh, really? Jeremiah thought he knew all about adventures. Puh-lease!

Nope, nope nope. unlatching herself from Beverly she quickly ran and hid behind her uncle... No.

"i happen to be a very careful and well planned adventurer." he said eyeing her some. "you've never been on an adventure till you've been on one with me." he was pointing at himself all proud and what not. Maybe they needed to go on an adventure this summer, for a moment he wondered what Mr. Brother Meany Pants would think before he didn't care anymore. "I need to take you on an adventure this term then... a real one." clearly. heh, Beverly Adventures.

^_^

"You know him, 'Kayla." he wasn't sure why she was acting so shy.. the guy did look slightly intimidating though he'd NEVER admit that. He said Hey again and Jeremiah wasn't sure why. was he an owl or like broken record or something? "Hmm?" yeeah...what?

Oh, really?

Pursing her lips, she eyed him critically, hiding the excitement at his words. He wanted to take HER on an adventure. Too bad he had that nasty past with dragons or they could have added that to their list...because now there was a list.

"Adventure challenge accepted." Sticking her hand out for him to shake as sealing the deal, she added, "You've never been on an adventure with a Wayne." And this was an INCREDIBLE offer. Could it be summer again. Now. Soon.

Unfortunately, it seemed Kennedy had scared McKayla. Beverly scowled at him. Was being grumpy really necessary? He wasn't normally like this. And he needed to fix THIS.

Wait! What?! No!

He hadn't meant to scare the child. Kennedy wasn't scary, he knew that. It was a proven fact. His godson liked him loads, even more so than his own father. Surely he wasn't scary (just intentionally to the boy).

Overhearing their little adventure planning, Kennedy had to keep himself from taking Beverly back home. No. Just no. What this adventure time with a BOY. A Gryffindor of all people! His best mate is a former lion, and he knew the trouble he got himself in. There was no way Bev was getting herself involved in one of those. The mere thought sent chills down his back. Bad sign right there.

"Before you plan you gotta first ask Father." And the award for Cute Moment Ruiner goes to Kennedy Escalante! Ha. Take that, Beverly and Je-re-miah!

Who cares about them. McKayla was intimidated(?) by him. Crouching down and resting his arms on his knees, he smiled a gentle smile at the girl. "I'm sorry if I scared you." Big brother business was messy.

Leah jostled past the huge crowd in Kings Cross. She had just arrived by floo on time, not like last year when everything was a mess and ended up with her arriving late on the platform. Now the second-year stood in front of the barrier between two muggle platforms and stared at it. She could do this, she did it last time.

Oh, one more check before she entered platform 9 and 3/4. Luggage, check. Kneazle carrier, check. Leah had a curtain-like fabric over the carrier so that muggles would not get scared by Filomena her kneazle, though she was not at all intimidating. Owl cage. Wait, owl cage? "Dang it! I forgot my owl!" Leah said a bit too loudly, stomping her foot angrily on the ground. There was a young girl who looked lost nearby, but no other particular attentive person. She wondered if the girl was magical or not. If not, Leah would be considered a psycho who keeps an owl.
