Kings Cross Public Square Just arriving to the Station? Enter here and head to the Platform. Be mindful of the muggles and don't linger too long! Don't want to miss the train. |
Okay, so how did this work again? She had been told (by Nate of all people) to run through the barrier carrying all of her stuff. However, that sounded like something a kid would tell to mock another kid, so for now she wasn't doing that. The eleven year old walked three times around the area Nate told her to end up, tripping twice and now angry. How was she supposed to do this? Or was she just not going to Hogwarts. The blond considered asking someone on the platform, but decided against it, figuring that she looked like a sight already, she didn't need to look pathetic on top of that. Cupping one of her blond bunlets (quickly becoming her new favorite hairstyle after she tried it at Malkins) she squeezed one of her multicolored hair buns once to make sure it stayed put and thought to herself. She was smart. She should be able to do this. Other eleven year olds figured it out. She pretty much figured out Diagon Alley by herself. This wasn't much different. Should she run through the wall? What if she failed, though? Then she'd be on the ground with wizard items spread round her and a headache. Scratch that. A worse headache. Lets just say, Nate was being really annoying this morning. It was her only lead though. She litterally had nothing else to work with. |
And here he was again. King's Cross Station. It was Zeke's last year in Hogwarts, yet he can't even bring himself to be nostalgic about anything especially since he can't remember his past. To him, this was only his 2nd year at the Wizarding School. His 2nd and final year. But again, for the second time around, Ezekiel Andrei de Ferreis was alone. And yes, Zeke told me to use his full name to add some dramatic effect. Anyway, he pushed his luggage like a normal Muggle would, trying his best to blend in. |
King Cross again. Jory stood watching the usual bustle. He even recognised a few familiar faces from Hogwarts. But none of his actual friends. He looked towards the Wall where he was supposed to be crossing to get over to the platform where he would be taking the Hogwarts Express for the final time. "I'd better get going,'' the boy thought, looking around again. He pushed his trolley towards the Wall. |
Isobel had said goodbye to her mother before she got to the station, since she needed to take Kate to some kind of 'gymnastics for toddlers' thing that she did every week. This left Isobel alone at the station, surrounded by muggles. Lovely. She wheeled her trolley around with a grunt, beginning to regret all of the extra books she'd bought. Facing the wall between two platforms from a couple of feet away, she stared at it apprehensively. Her mum had taken her through it several times, you walk up to the barrier and you just go straight through it. Even run, if you don't think you can make it. Don't worry, honey, you'll be fine. Isobel glanced at the barrier one more time, then, with a deep breath, approached it at a swift walk. |
Natasha arrived early at the station with her mentor, who had decided to see her off. He helped her gather her belongings, and even pushed them into the station for her. Natasha thought of arguing this one last time, but was not dumb enough to do that. He had promised that she could come back in between terms, and she would be his apprentice again after she graduated. Looking around, Natasha was not sure she was in the right place, there did not seem to be many people here. After a moment's hesitation, she followed her mentor through a wall, that lead to another platform - where the train would take her away from everything she knew. Her mentor gave her a few more reassurances that she still had a home, and that this was best for her, and then disappeared, back into the muggle world. |
Gram had come with Tora to King's Cross to see her off on her very first year at Hogwarts. She had demonstrated how to step through the wall into Platform 9 3/4 and now it was Tora's turn. Although Tora still had questions as to how it worked (like what spell was used?), she bravely walked up to the seemingly solid brick and tested putting her hand in. Here goes nothing she thought as the took a full step forward. |
that turned out to be longer than I anticipated o.o Once again, Tobias had run on ahead from his grandfather, who was probably still somewhere around St. Pancras train station (which was across the road) where their connecting train had taken them. His grandfather would be apparating home after seeing Tobias on the trains; his grandmother wasn't fond of busy places full of children (she liked Tobias and that was it) and his parents had stayed behind to keep her company. Tobias' grandfather was the best person to keep Tobias in line anyway, though the young man himself would disagree; nobody kept him in line, because he was a perfect little angel who didn't need watching over. But... he kind of did need his grandfather. This station was confusing and there were loads of muggles here. Tobias stepped up onto the back of the trolley to try and find his destination, but he didn't actually know what he was looking for. Ah. Well. This way problematic. Time to just hang out and wait for his grandfather and try not to give off a vibe that he was on his way to wizard school. 'Cause, you know, that was what he was avoiding. And it was obviously the first conclusion that muggles jumped to. ... After a couple of minutes, Tobias had spied a few students who were pushing trolleys with trunks similar to his, and he had a good idea where he was going, because he'd seen them all disappear in the same general area. Feeling all grown up, Tobias pushed his trolley confidently towards one of the barriers (he knew that was what he was meant to be doing after quizzing his grandfather relentlessly... it was just the 'where' that had him stumped) and started running. He was nearly there when he heard a strangled shout from behind him, and he turned to see his grandfather waving his arms wildly and pointing at the next barrier. Ohhhhhh. Luckily, Tobias, being a rather hyperactive and fidgety child, was rather agile, so after a brief tussle with his luggage trolley and it's stubbornly wonky wheel, he had re-routed and was now speeding towards the correct barrier. Taking it at a slightly awkward angle, Tobias finally reached the ticket barrier... and then he was through. |
Aaaaanyone? ^_^ Kings Cross morning already. Gulp. Last year, huh? Yeah, it came sooner than most thought. The red headed, seventeen year old, held the hand of her three year old brother as they walked inside the station. It was the first time he was here and Renesmee could see her brother was intrigued with his surroundings as he wandered around with her. He remained quiet and barely spoke a word. That concerned Nessie just a little bit, but she knew he was just upset she'd be leaving him for another year. She had to though, school was school. He'd get it eventually. Now where was that platform wall? She looked quickly through all the muggles and spotted a few wizard-like looking people, especially a few firsties. Was she meant to go up to them or something? She wasn't sure with this whole Head Gi--Prefect thing. It just was that being Captain was different to this, in her opinion it was a little more home to her. Now she had a bigger role which meant bigger footsteps and harder work. The Hufflepuff eyed the few firsties, then eyed the platform wall that her eyes now found and pouted. Maybe it was better she only put on the badge once she was behind the wall and at the platform? She nodded to herself. Yep. And right now she wanted to have a last few completely alone moments with Ethan before the rest of the family had caught up to them. "Ethie?" She paused and bent down for a short moment, still holding the three year old's hands. "You're going to be fine. Pam, Mommy and Daddy will look after you, alright?" She frowned as he shook his head and clung to her beige coloured pants. Well this was going to be easy then? Heh. |
The Charlton family arrived at the King's Cross Station a little early, since The family started to walk towards where the ninth platform was in complete silence. They didn't get a trolley, because Forrest's luggage was one of those pullable ones with wheels. His father pulled it, head turning in every direction to catch a glimpse of a wizard or witch. He was by far the proudest father on the platform today as his face shone whenever he looked at Forrest. My son's a wizard, you loser Muggles! Once they arrived at the ninth platform, all the family looked at Forrest as if he was an alien. They expected him to see what they couldn't, of course, like the way he did at Leaky Cauldron. Standing between the ninth and tenth platforms, they waited "Are they... disappearing through the wall?" Three pair of eyes turned into the direction she indicated. They had to wait for another two minutes for it to happen, but it was worth it at last as they apparently discovered the entrance to the 3/4 part of ninth platform. Nobody noticed Forrest's getting even paler as they all went towards that direction and simply went to the other side by walking unlike most of the other students that ran. |
Anyoooone. ^_^ Woop. Time to go back to Hogwarts already. Harlan was excited and kind of glad to be leaving home again, mostly because nobody told her when to stop eating Skittles at Hogwarts. Dad did. She looked up at her grandad and smiled. 'You can go now.' Yup. She'd done this twice before, she didn't need her grandad heeeere, nobody else did. But she did want a hug first. Harlan hugged her grandad before taking hold of her trolley and pushing it on into the station. When she looked back he'd left, so she took her packet of skittles out and stood there eating them until someone familiar would show up, that sounded loads better than having to stand around with her grandad, because she didn't feel like talking about her gran all the time. |
There was a look to the left followed by a look to the right before another one to the left. Normally she'd be zipping through the train station, leaving her poor father having a hard time keeping up but not today. Today Alexa was hiding. This hiding wasn't from fear though. Nooooo. The lioness feared nothing Well, correction; she didn't handle them well when they belonged to people she cared about...Alice, she definitely cared about. The girl would probably never talk to her again-- UGH!! It wasn't even her fault and technically she had done the poor thing a favour--she put him out of his sugar coated misery! If anything, she should have been praised and given another one for her valiant efforts. He was the hardest chocolate frog she'd ever eaten too. Like. There wasn't supposed to be any kind of bad feeling--he was a bloody piece of candy!!! But at the same time, the thought of Alice's disappointed face had the thing stuck at her throat. Occasionally she glanced up at her father and caught him staring down at her in wonder. He too was wondering why she wasn't running wild. She was glad he didn't ask. It would have only made things worse. As they made their way through the building she clung to his hand, still looking over her shoulders ever now and then. If she could just make it to the train she could hide for the entire ride-- Oh! Merlin! She forgot about the feast! She'd have to see her. SIIIIIIIGH. Now she was in an even worse mood as they made their way to the barrier. |
Trunk? Check. Grandparents? Bopping along, check. |
Mack had double checked that she had everything, and she left the leaky cauldron, her make shift home for the past few weeks. She hadn't seen her grandparents all summer and her parents were abroad. So here she was at Kings Cross heading for her second year at Hogwarts, she quickly made her way, eagerly awaiting all that was in store. |
Quote:
Anyway, after saying bye to her aunt, she started making her way to the wall to the platform, pulling her extra large trunk behind her, when she ran into a little girl who seemed lost. And cue eye roll. Surely someone had told her how to get to the platform, right? Which meant that the silly girl had either forgotten or not believed. Sigh. Wasn't setting these kids straight the job of the prefects? Yet, not a one was in view. "The wall is up that way," she spoke up drily, nodding it's direction. "You walk right through it." There. Fixed that little problem. |
open to all...seriously if you just want to gawk at the kiddo do iiit Finn Johanson was glad to take his little sister to the train station since he hadn't seen her all that much recently. What with her constant disappearing acts to go buy new supplies, see her friends who lived near by, and that camping trip. He had heard about that - how she had nearly gotten people sick until they smelled whatever it was she was making. She had never told him. Finn glanced around carefully scoping out all the crowd. He was looking for his sister as well - since she had been out in London and had no idea he was flooing in just to wish her well. He just scoffed as he watched some poor kid about a year older than his sister have a fit. He was probably freaking out about how to get to the school - or he was some lunatic muggle. He just kept an eye on the kid in case something happened...like a melt down, or you know running full speed into the wrong wall. Genevieve reaally wanted Eeka to come. Eeka needed to hug her. HUGs were good. She was sitting in her little stroller, watching with her BIG brown eyes and grabbing at people when they walked by. The blondes mainly. It didn't matter if they were male or female she just reached out to them as if to question if they were her sister. "EEEEEKA" she chirped rather grouchily and just stared out into the crowd. What were these people. And why did they have rolling-things attached to them. |
Anyone <3 And I mean, anyone :3 Ugh, school. What a joke. Jeez, Ascanius supposed that Hogwarts was better then Durmstrang AND Alma Aleron, but still, it was still a school. And schools meant adults walking about and trying to tell him what to do. Heh. Like THAT was gonna happen. Anyway, he followed the directions that had been in his letter and got himself to King's Cross alright. Now that he was there though, Ascanius was at a loss of what to do. How did one get to a 9 and 3/4. What kind of a stupid name for a station was that? Psh. Stupid, stupid. Now where to go. Did anyone wanna help an EXTREMELY attractive guy find his way? Ladies only please. Wink. |
*steals* Quote:
Seriously. He better be a Hogwarts student. "Sorry" she muttered and gave a quick smile. "you uh look lost...need help finding any place in particular?" she asked...hopefully her subtle way of asking if he was looking for platform 9 3/4 worked. Geeeze captain obvious this one. Seriously her first try she was a little off on the entrance and his the wall bit instead. |
Anyone or no one, yo. For once in her lifetime as a Hogwarts student, Katrina Hudson was actually feeling a bit weird. She was new to this, being a student leader. Receiving an owl with her badge was something she did not except at all. Her family members were proud of her and she was a hundred percent sure that her father would've been much more proud of her than anyone in the family. Kat missed him a lot, of course, but she kept it in her mind to let go and move on with what life has to offer her. She was pretty excited about knowing she would be a Prefect for her house The Slytherin Prefect (in denial) dragged and pushed her trunk to Kings Cross and looked around. Gosh it was weird having to wear a Prefect badge. Kat bid her goodbye to her sister and her nephew, Gale, before setting out to go pass the Platform. By the look on the children's faces in here, Kat knew there were firsties. She watched as one of them went passed the barrier. Who knows, maybe one of them would soon be her |
*claims K2* ^_^ Quote:
She still had to figure out how to get herself, her trunk, and Accio through the barrier and onto the platform, anyway. Her cat could dash through on his own, of course, but dragging her trunk with one hand would be the tricky part. Controlling it. As such, she’d decided to pause for a second to think of a plan, and noticed a familiar blonde head nearing the wall. “Hey Katrina!,” she called out, smiling at the Slytherin even as she forgot her annoyance for the time being. Dropping the handle of her trunk had certainly helped with that, but there was still time before she had to get on the train. |
Quote:
Only one thing, or person even, snapped the Slytherin prefect out of her thoughts. Turning to her side, Kat gave her friend Kendall a smile in return. "Hi there, Kendall!" she greeted. The Ravenclaw was one of the few friends Kat met just last term, specifically at the Maize Maze. The blonde's eyes then fell onto her friend's hand that was apparently wrapped around with a cast. "Is it better now, your hand?" Kat asked. Everyone knew Kat could be really caring when it came to the condition of her friends so it was not anything to be shocked about if she came up to you and randomly asked about what you're feeling at the moment. "Uhm... do you need help with your things?" It was a rare offer whenever Kat would extend a hand to help someone. Kendall must be lucky today, eh? Besides, you really can't do much with a cast on your hand. |
His final Hogwarts year was almost starting and the Slytherin wanted to make the most of it. Most importantly, we wanted to see and hear every detail from Kings Cross station till ...Kings Cross station until he came back. That was why he was pushing his luggage cart absentmindely and looked around him. Taking in the brick wall that was right in front of him, Daichi fought the urge to count the bricks. That would be too time consuming. This was going to be the last time he went through this wall from this side. And now that he thought this it made him feel a little sad. For seven years he had walked through here and after this year it would be over. No more brick wall, no more Hogwarts Train. No more Hogsmeade..oh wait , he could still visit that.. No more Hogwarts castle..classes..his younger friends , just strolling around over the grounds. And most importantly. He now had to find his own Duck Pond to go to... But, that wasn't till the end of this year and he was going to make this year count! With a small nod to himself he looked around him. Seeing that a few muggles passed him by and given him a weird look for just staring at a WALL, Daichi simply smiled at them and they continued their walk to their own Muggle Trains. One last check, no muggles looking, and he walked through the barrier. |
Aurora couldn't believe that she was going to her fourth year at Hogwarts, nor could her parents as her mother had admitted to her. Aurora and her family walked through King's Cross train station headed to the magical platform of Platform 9 and 3/4 to see her off for the school year. |
Anybody? Fifth year. Where had the time gone? Five years ago his whole family was here seeing him off. The friends he had made the summer before Alec, Anya and Adeline was there. Well he meet Adeline right here at Kings Cross. And even Carter Anya's brother was there. But now today the fifth year Slytherin was walking into the train station alone. The family was working. His friends were not doubt with their sweethearts. Adeline wasn't coming back. Asher past by several muggles as he pushed his cart loaded down with his trunk, and owl cage. Avis hooting softly in her sleep. She did that alot hoot in her sleep. So there he was a fifteen year old alone with an owl in Kings Cross. That wouldn't be so weird if he didn't see a few others with a cart loaded down like his. Heading in the general direction as they were moving toward the wall between platforms 9 and 10. Platform 9 3/4 was his portal back to Hogwarts, back to school. Back everything he knew. |
Anyone Laura had been really busy this summer and now she was heading off for her fifth year at Hogwarts, at the start of the summer things had happened and she had thought about not coming back but in the end she had decided that she should even though she was really sure what to expect from this year, she couldn't wait to see Sophie and Ella though, she hadn't seen them or Carigan for ages and that was the one thing she was looking forwards too. |
Quote:
He starts to walk across the square looking for people he recognized. He did want to get to the train as fast as he could. But socializing never hurt. He looks around and spotted Laura. He walks over to her because he was not spoken to her in a while. Probably even more than a while. "Hey Laura, How was your summer." |
*claims the both of you* *loves* :3 Text Cut: Ascanius and Mika Merlin, Penelope kept losing people. One moment she was deciding whether she actually needed a trolley for her single trunk, the next she was trying to find her boyfriend and her cat. Because Spot too had wandered off for some reason. Merlin's beard. Of all the times to wander off. Looking for people in a big crowd was one of the times being short was not a good thing. Dragging her trunk behind her, she looked around the station, hoping one of the ones she was looking for would just pop up and make her life easier. Or preferably they'd both be in the same place with other people she knew. That would take out two birds with one stone.... There! There was her cat, pawing at a girl - Mika was her name right? - her cat was pawing at the girl's shoe. And, conveniently, the girl was talking to Ascanius. Excellent. Two birds, one stone. "Hey guys," Penelope said as she walked over to them, bending down to scoop up Spot in one arm. "Sorry about that, Mika." It didn't look like Spot had done anything to the girl's foot or shoe at least. Thank Merlin. |
Hmm.. another year. Wade thought as he casually leaned against the handle of cart filled with his luggage of school essentials and items. It was his Sixth year, and second term at Hogwarts. He had just said his final goodbyes to his dad earlier when he was dropped off.. now he just had to go through the Platform. Wade first looked around to see any familiar people. The busy crowd of mainly muggles made this difficult, though. So, he began pushing his cart in the direction of that platform, lowly whistling as he took his time. |

The final year. It all sounded very weird to Gwen. Maybe she wasn’t actually ready for this. But she was definitely looking forward to getting back to Hogwarts. Uh. It was just confusing. What was even weirder was the fact that Zeke was back… and he wasn’t as annoying as he used to be. Hmm. Speaking of which--- Gwen only now managed to spot the Gryffindor, who was just a few steps ahead. She walked a bit faster, until she manage to catch up with him. ‘Hey’. Quote:
Mhm. That sounded like a good plan. As she thought about it, Gwen only got to take a few more footsteps, when she managed to spot someone. ‘JORY!’ With a grin on her face, the SEVENTH year walked towards the Hufflepuff. Hi! |
Continue at the Platform? ^_^ Quote:
""Hi." Zeke continued to walk on forward. |
SPOILER!!: Penelope and Mika Bored and lost. That was what Ascanius was at the moment. These directions that he had been given were PITIFUL at best and now had him just walking in circles. Come out, come out wherever you are platform 9 and 3/4. Ugh, he was never gonna find it at this rate, yeah? It was a rubbish name anyway. Who named a station 9 and 3/4? And then to make matters worse someone bumped into his trolley and nearly had him falling over- Oh hey there, gorgeous. Nah, she was good. She could bump into him all she liked. 'Sides, this one was easy on the eyes. So he was all smirks and smiles when she started to stumble out her next sentence, "No harm, no foul, gorgeous," he winked. Oh, she wanted to help him. That was awesome, "Yeah, this platform 9 and 3/4... you know where it is, beautiful?" 'Cuz he was lost. Jeez, CAT! No wait, it wasn't just a cat. It was a Spot. And if Spot was here a girlfriend was not too far behind. When she popped up, he smirked at her and said, "Lost the cat, Pen?" Poor Spot. |
Quote:
This was awkward. Maybe she shouldn’t have made her presence noticed. Erm. What to do now?! She couldn’t just walk away, could she? No. because they were heading the same way. So Gwendolyn continued walking towards the platform 9 3/4. ‘What’s with all the enthusiasm?’, she said sarcastically. Ehh. She probably was the last person he wanted to see…but… Mehh. |
Quote:
Ever since he got into a relationship with Evie, Zeke couldn't help but notice the difference between her and the Ice Princess. It bothered him a lot. To have been blinded by the girl's obvious hatred towards him. How she tried to get away from him a number of times. How he paid no attention to her snide remarks. Only in that moment did he realize all this. Hm. Love is blind, eh? Not anymore... He won't be that guy who forces himself on people. So he decided before going on his final year to Hogwarts to stop bothering Gwen. If she doesn't see Zeke as a normal person she could be friends with, then, why try anymore? It's all pointless... Siiiigh. To think that he had even thought of them ending up together. Psh. It was mere fantasy. A thing that couldn't even exist in dreams or in one's imagination. It was too impossible to think of. Just don't look at her directly Zeke. It won't be a problem trying to forget about Ice Princ-Gwen. Looking straight ahead, he replied, "I'm just happy as ever." Yeah. Right. |
SPOILER!!: Ascanius & Penn XD Mika just laughed and maybe flushed a bit out of nervousness when Ascanius was being nice…and the winking, winking always made her laugh. ”Aw thanks – and yeah, I know where the platform is” she smiled brightly again. And then a weird tickling sensation like something poking her foot happened just randomly. Seriously there wasn’t anything there. She thought, so she just glanced at her foot and laughed. There was a cat there. Glancing down she just spotted a cat. A rather nice looking cat – he was cute. Seriously. And then she heard Penelope’s voice and two and two went together. The cat was her cat – right? ”Oh, Hey Penelope!” she smiled as she saw the Gryffindor girl. Seriously she needed to talk to her more – especially if she had such a pretty boyfriend. |

The helper also seemed a little ticked off at the blond, and though she couldn't figure out why, she decided not to ask. More conversation wouldn't do anything but make the situation harder. So, with a small push of her cart to force it into motion, she was off. "Thanks." It was only a whisper as she passed the helper, but she really didn't want to yell or anything, and her blush was too big for face to face conversation right now. Reaching what she assumed was the right way of the platform, Tanner took about eight steps back, digging her sneakers into the cement a couple of times to get a good pull on her cart. Okay. Now just run at the platform full speed. It'd just a brick wall. Nothing major. And you should go through. You're a wizard. Awesome peptalk, she thought, placing her hands into a better position on the cart. She started at a jog, picking up to a run as she got closer. Before she hit the wall she let out a small yell. She had no idea if she was going to hit the wall and fall or actually make it. Luckily it was the second |

"C'mon, Rons!" Liam called, glancing behind him at Ronnie who was going awfully slow. "We don't wanna miss the train!" he said. Ronnie gripped her trolley and caught up to her brothers and parents. Liam smiled down at her. She smiled back up at him and then they reached the wall. She then noticed her friend Jory who was about to go through. She smiled and pushed her trolley next to his. "Hey, Jory." she said with a smile. "Would you like to sit with me on the train?" she asked. |
Nashville had to say 'Ello. XD Quote:
He had seen that guy before...but where...Twitter? YES! He was talking to that kid when he was having girlfriend problems....not Nash but Asher yes. Nash didn't have a girlfriend so therefor he had no girlfriend problems. "ASHER! 'Ello." |
Phone. Phone. Texting. PHONE. Gaming. PHONE. The newly appointed fourth year was not looking away from his gadget for even two seconds because walking was getting in the way of his PHONE TIME. His family were leading the way, because after many years now, they had it pretty much memorized. The only change was that Casper had decided to come to send Theo off. Theo's twin stood with his hands in his pockets, looking sulky but not nearly as sulky as usual. Progress!? Anyway... zip zap on the phooooone... until it was swooped away suddenly from his grasp. He just stared at his hands. We hadn't stepped into the wizarding world YET, things weren't allowed to just DISAPPEAR... Oh, it was dad. Theo glared at him as the man tucked it away in his pocket. "No phones at school." GROWL. HISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.... "Whatever. Bye." Theo replied, actually fighting off that hot feeling he got in his cheeks whenever he was about to cry. To distract himself, he looked for friends. Anyone would do, as long as they were a friend. Theo was in no mood to make effort with new kids today. But he WOULD settle for anyone if he couldn't find a friend, because crossing the barrier alone was scary. Speaking of scary, he could hear his mother sobbing from a way away. No doubt it was because he just completely walked off without a proper goodbye. Uh-oh, hate mail would be arriving later, then. |
SPOILER!!: Theoman! Ella's eyes were a bit watery, okay? That was only because her little brother had decided to burst into tears outside the station and glue himself to the blonde's leg. It was horrible watching her Dad pry the little guy off her and she was a little shaken by the whole thing. Goodbyes were hard, yeah? The fifteen year old did her best to shake the whole thing off and stood up a little straighter, pushing her trolley towards the barrier. As she passed a sobbing woman who looked oddly familiar, the blonde spotted Theo and blinked. Sniffle. She couldn't whine in front of him so she'd need to suck it up. Ahem. "H-hey Theoman!" Half-hearted!Beam. "How are you?" And more importantly, she wasn't crying, okay? |

First, she had some of her own, as she caught the glint of a badge. “You got prefect? That’s awesome!,” she said. There was the proof, whether or not she’d actually sort of heard about that happening before now. It was actually really true, and therefore the awesome could be repeated. Plus, it deflected the concerned question that she’d been asked a bit. “My wrist,” she automatically corrected, shifting the cast behind her back more. “Almost. The healer said I should leave the cast on for a couple more days and then it can come off. They even showed me how I can do it myself.” If she didn’t want to go see Healer Tillstorm to ask if she’d remove it for her, and part of her didn’t. She’d just have to be careful casting with her left hand. Her left hand which was still wrapped around the handle to her trunk, and she glanced down at it at the offer for assistance. “It’s not heavy. Not really. Jeremiah cast a spell on everything so I could technically get it all to the train by myself,” even though he’d still offered to help her too, “I’m just wondering if I’ll need help getting it on the train, once I get through to the platform,” she replied slowly. She was a determined injured ninja superhero, but now that she’d gotten the offer, she didn’t know if it was worth admitting weakness. |

........... :-| "Hii." He said, immediately forgetting about his lack of phone. But, oh... she looked upset. Was it him? Was it someone else? Was it Alec? Maybe they had split up!! Not that it would change anything since he was very happy with Dora, but it just felt weird. "I'm ok, but why're you crying?" Hug?? No... no... he just patted her arm. |
Quote:
"Just okay?" Frown. ...Ugh. "Crying? I'm not crying. My eyes are just erm leaking a bit. They do that sometimes." Leaky faucet eyes. YUP. Seemed legit. "I should really get them looked at. Don't want to be like this all term." Was he buying this? Probably not. POKER FACE. |

Text Cut: Ascanius and Mika Penelope raised her arm a bit, so Spot could better climb up onto her shoulder, the cat's usual place on this day. Maybe that was why she'd wandered off before. She'd set her down for a moment, and the cat decided it was her chance to explore. It seemed so big though, and she could have easily gotten lost. Thank Merlin she apparently found Mika's shoes interesting, Penelope might not have found her so quickly. The little cat stared unblinkingly at the other two humans as her human spoke up again. "Yeah, she wandered off," Penelope replied. "She likes to do that a lot." Though usually not around train stations like King's Cross, but there was a first time for everything, she guessed. "Have a good summer, Mika?" she asked, returning the girl's smile. Penelope hadn't seen her since the term ended, so she didn't really have any idea of how the Ravenclaw's summer had gone, but hopefully it was good. It was never fun to have a bad summer. Penelope knew very well what that was like. Not this summer though. This holiday had been pretty awesome for once. Possibly mainly thanks to Ascanius, since she'd spent just about all of it with him. Which was why she didn't really have to ask him that question too. Heh. |

... Okay maybe Kat didn't really hate being a prefect anymore. Her friend Kendall had noticed the badge. Kat liked the attention, but that wasn't the reason why she was sort of starting to soothen up a bit. The prefect smiled at Kendall. "Yeah, I did, and thank you," she said to the Ravenclaw. Kendall must've been the first to really notice her new shiny badge. Perhaps only because she was the first Hogwarts student she talked to for today and didn't really plan on telling the majority that she had school priviledges and duties now. "Right, your wrist..." How could she make a simple mistake? How Puffer. "Sorry." She was still having lots of things in her mind and they were unraveling through her brain like people trying to catch a bus or whatever. "I could help you with carrying your things when we reach the train, I guess," Kat said. Apparently she was trying to act all Prefect-y now, but you know, also because she was friends with Kendall. |
SPOILER!!: Gwen Jory had given up looking for any of his friends and was now waving at the clue car which was taking his parents and his sulking sister back home. He was in a bad mood because his sister had gotten him angry when she poked and prodded Furball. He had actually yelled at her, something he could not remember doing before. Grace puzzled poor Jory sometimes. She would be nice to him one moment and then she'd be mean another. He supposed that she forced herself to be nice to him especially when their parents were around. He had put up with her behavior over the summer not saying anything to his parents though he suspected they noticed what was going on because he heard his mom questioning Grace on why she was being different around him. Just because she didn't have magical abilities... But poking Furball repeatedly was enough. Jory lost it and really, he didn't care right now about what he had done. As the car disappeared, Jory heard someone practically yelling his name. He looked around. He was not in the mood for company. "Oh, hi, Gwen,'' he said locating the person, plastering a smile on his face. He needed to put all this behind him. For now, anyway. He needed to enjoy his final year. "How are you?'' SPOILER!!: Ronnie Jory was about to go through the Wall but had suddenly paused. He was entering here for the last time. It seemed just like the other day, a confused and nervous eleven year old turned up at King's Cross pushing a trolley containing his trunk and owl cage. Where had the years gone? He was so lost in his world of thoughts that he failed to noticed the persons standing right next to him. That is, until a familiar voice spoke. He looked around. "Hello, Ronnie,'' the boy said with a huge goofy grin. He had missed his friend since they last met in Diagon Alley. "Of course I would.'' He looked at the others who accompanied her. This must be her family. The Rockstars. |
SPOILER!!: Zeke Gwendolyn made her way around the public area at the train station, still waiting for Zeke to reply something. Well… truth be told, she had never actually seen him this- disappointed? Sad? Gwen just thought about this as she twirled the copy of the newspaper in her left hand. Eh. Nervousness. She was trying not to think about everything that happened lately- But that didn’t work. She remembered the time when they met at the fountain this summer. Huh. She really had been rude… Ugh. And then the bowling alley. Zeke’s mood swings. Everything seemed to have changed since she mentioned it was great hanging out with him. Ughhh. Happy as ever? Riiiight. ‘I know that you probably hate me’, she started saying. Uh. Probably?, Gwen then thought. No. Surely. He surely hated her now. And she could see why. ‘But can you at least talk to me?’ NORMALLY? Have a normal conversation? Not just ‘Hi’ and ‘I’m fine’? SPOILER!!: Jory ‘I’m good… happy to be going back’, she replied. Yes, she decided NOT to worry about this being her final year and just be glad to be going back to Hogwarts. So far, it was working. GRIN. Gwen was happy to see Jory again. She really was. Though… the Huflepuff didn’t seem to feel the same way. Erm. Gwendolyn didn’t generally notice these things- when people were upset or something. Not really. She usually tended to ignore these things. But now it was impossible to overlook the fact that Jory wasn’t fine. He, who was always cheerful and all. ‘What’s wrong?’ Because she cared, alright? |

People didn’t need to understand that. She knew what she had wanted to do, and while it certainly hadn’t gone the way she’d wanted, it had made a point. Either way, she figured she’d made her point. As far as she knew, he wasn’t about to listen to the evil opinions of his family anymore and believe he was worthless, so a broken wrist was nothing. Just an annoyance that was pushed away by the conversation with Katrina about her sparkly badge. “You’re welcome,” she replied, looking at the blonde Slytherin a bit curiously. It almost seemed like she hadn’t entirely been as excited about it as Kendall had been. That wasn’t really important. Katrina could deal with the honor however she wanted, and she’d just have the knowledge that she had more than one friend who was a prefect. Even though she still had that plan to finally manage to put into action, hopefully this term. Nothing was happening until she got her cast off. “It’s okay. You don’t need to apologize,” she replied. The cast did cover most of her hand too, after all, so that could confuse people. “You can if you want to. I don’t want you to think you have to stick around just to help me if you have other places you want to be, or you need to be.” The Slytherin was going to have to be all prefect-y and stuff, as far as she knew. She wasn’t about to turn down help if it was offered, but she wouldn’t be all selfish either. |

" I basically did nothing interesting this summer. Read some books while helping my uncle at the ministry." His uncle's job was interesting. But not really exciting. Nigel might as well start some research of his own while waiting in the receiving area. "But i did see some awesome movies. Just can't remember their names. You ready to start a new year?" |
Quote:
"And everyone, this is my friend Jory." she said, gesturing to Jory. Everyone smiled at him and took turns shaking his hand. "So, you ready to go through?" she asked him, glancing at the barrier and then back at Jory. |

WAHOOOOOOP. Theo narrowed his eyes until he was looking Ella STRAIGHT in the eyes. Something he hadn't been able to do in a long time. She was definitely lying. Oooooh, not a trait we knew Ella had! "It looks like you got some dust in there, or something. Want me to get it out?" Theo already had his hand about an inch away from her eyeball, ready to fish whatever it "was" out. Just to clarify, he wasn't totally sure if he physically could touch a human being's eyeball but oh well. |

With her head down she scanned the floor as she walked. Where was it.. how could she have lost it. Maybe it was still at Ethan's house. Hopefully that is where it was. Maybe she would check her trunk again. BUMP Looking up confused and then with a bit of a blush she saw that she ran into someone, well at least it was someone and now one of the walls. Then recognition jumped in and she smiled, "Hey Nash, haven't seen you since I gave you that tour." She was glad that she was getting to see him again. She always liked gaining new friends and the fact that he seemed very nice made it that much better. |

"'Ello MinnieMoo!" |

The direct eye contact was a bit of a surprise, mostly because Theo seemed to look down or away up until very recently when they were together. She figured this was some sort of test, though, so she locked her eyes with his and raised an eyebrow. STARE. "Dust?" Her eyes widened a bit at the proximity of his finger and she chewed on her lip. Oh Merlin, she couldn't let him go fishing around for dust on her eyeball. SIGH. "Fine, I was crying." Mellow. "I'm no good with goodbyes." And also... "You weren't really going to touch my eyeball, were you?" |
Quote:
Looking to the floor again, she decided to give up on the Ipod, she would have to ask Ethan to Owl his parents to see if it showed up at their house or maybe she would just owl Mrs. McCarthy herself. Anyway that could wait until school, smiling back up at Nash, "You do know how to get on the platform, right?" |

Well he did and he believed his grandfather but did he really have to run into a wall? Was that what he had to do? "Well...er...my grandfather told me that I have to run into that wall there." he point at the wall. "Do I? I mean do I really have to run into it? what if it wants to be like? No I don want to let you in kind of thing?" Seriously? What if the wall cool feel his nervousness. |
Quote:
Chuckling she looked to the wall, "Its normal to be nervous and running.. Well for your first time it might not be a bad idea to do it quick so you don't freak out. I don't know if full run, that might attract attention from the other people walking around." Laughing more she shook her head, "No.. no its not going to tell you that you can't go through. You will be fine, I promise. If you want I can go right before you so you can see how I go through first." |
SPOILER!!: Penelope AND Mika :3 He had one beautiful girl to his right and the other to his left. If ALL of Hogwarts was like this, jeez, he was going to MAYBE enjoy school. Eh, okay, not that crazy. But he would enjoy parts of it. Namely how beautiful all of the ladies were. Wink. Mika? Hmm... her name was Mika. Well, that was a beautiful name. A beautiful name for a beautiful girl. 'Sides, he was pretty sure he had heard her name before in passing. Maybe he had met her before. It was so hard to keep track. His girlfriend knew SO many people. "Mika, is it?" Smirky smirk, "Beautiful name, gorgeous." Heh. So anyway... where was this stupidly named station. 9 and 3/4? Psh. What WAS that? |
was short...i know but peeves has been stopping me constantly so here you go! SPOILER!!: both of you <3 Mika smiled over to Penelope. Seriously. She needed to talk to this girl more. She was set in this because she had awesome taste obviously in cats and in boys. Grins all around. ”Oh yeah my summer was great, traveled a bit and spent some time with Alexa Cambridge, Kaiden, and you know it was all really a blur…except last week when” she laughed. ”camping trip at the end of summer – it was fun…until I made food for it and not even a living thing would eat it. I’m convinced that if we threw it into the water it’d throw it back out.” she laughed. Yeah. She was good at the laughing at her self-bit. Since, seriously, that food had smelled worse than a tube-sock filled with noxious potion. When Asacanius asked about her named, well, called it beautiful she just beamed. ”Aw thanks…its actually a nickname really – names really Amelia but…Mika’s a bit more fun I think…and er – should we head in?” she asked glancing over toward the platforms. She glanced around again to see if she could spot Kaiden…or anyone else from school – well, mainly Kaiden because she’d forgotten to exchange the Pygmy Puffs with him and now she really wanted something fluffy and purple to sit on her shoulder, and maybe another equally fluffy thing to sit in her hair. |

"First of all, I do not hate you," he said with a restraint voice. 'Honestly Zeke, how weak can you possibly get?' It was only a matter of time until he'd start seeing water in fill his eyes and his voice betraying him. 'NO, ZEKE. You will not, I repeat you will NOT confess to Gwen. Selfish stupid Ezekiel.' He simply cannot. He shouldn't, either. How on earth did he get himself into this mess? Taking a deep breath, he maintained that stern expression on his face. "And second, I am talking to you." He knew what Gwen meant. But he decided to play dumb. "Have a nice day, Gwen." He smiled at her...rather coldly, looked away, held on to his luggages, then proceeded to cross the hidden platform. |

Suddenly little Mina eyed a three-year-old boy. How cute! But wait... the little boy's hand was being held by a taller person...maybe her older sister? Or mother? She doesn't know. The tall, red-head girl looked more like a lady. While Mina's mother and father were talking to some friend, Mina approached the red-headed lady from her behind. Mina poked the lady a bit and asked with a child-like voice, "Excuse me, uhm, how do we get to the train going to Hogwarts?" |
Yipeee!!! King Cross morning!! This was definitely an exciting day for little Mina! Wearing her favorite brown coat and her parents just right behind her. She pushes her brother's cart of stuff while she followed her parents and her older brother to where Platform 9 3/4 lay. There was definitely a HUGE NUMBER OF PEOPLE! Most of them looked like students from Hogwarts... She was amazed by the sight of many people! Her brother was going to his last year in Hogwarts and soon, she was going to be part of it! This is going to be my first step to becoming a great wizard! I can't wait to be a first year already!! Her parents were talking to some former classmates and friends. What could Mina do while waiting? She saw a lot of tall people who were probably 4th years or 5th years...or 6th years or 7th years... She also saw first years! Hooray! But she was looking for a certain friend... Well, her newly found friend she met a few days ago... But where could he be? Anyways... this was her first time to be in King Cross to see her brother going off to Hogwarts for the last time. But she had to wait for her parents and brother because they were TOO busy chatting with a lot of people. Siiiiigh! Mina was starting to get bored... What can she do while waiting? |
Walking into King Cross was a exciting time. Go off to school and hopefully meeting new friends. Isabella had said good bye to her family and was walking towards the entence to the platform. Looking around she saw lot of kids and their parents. Wondering if they were all Hogwart students or not. Looking towards the platform she started to walk. "Here it goes." and Isabella walked forward, she didnt want to be late for the train after all. |
Don't double post ! Quote:
She walked towards the girl. "Hey there, I'm Amara Kaul" she said, as she neared her. "Is that your brother?" she asked as she extended her hand. Given her frame, she musn't be first year yet. But she really looked tiny. Very tiny. |

Text Cut: Miks, and we see you other two Leaving his grandfather behind, Kaiden pushed the cart thingy that had has his trunk on it. He was constantly on the look out for a certain blonde girl. That, and trying to not look to conspicuous with all the muggles around. Which was fairly difficult, what with all the critters, who were not currently in their cages. Zara was easy. The purple little puff seemed to like hiding in dark places, and had found her way into one of the larger cargo pockets of his shorts. And Toad, well, there wasn’t anything too unusual about him, except that he was a toad, on his shoulder. No, the problem was Kilo, the incredibly pink pygmy puff who kept insisting on sitting on his head. That was his favorite place to be, and Kaiden had to keep picking him back up and putting him in the pocket opposite Zara. “Buddy, you’ve gotta stay in here, just for a little bit.” Buttoning the pocket, in an attempt to keep the puff still, he saw Mika up ahead. Errr… yeah, how was this supposed to go? He needed to give the puffs back to her, and tell her things, but well, that actually involved seeing her, and talking to her. Pushing his cart thing up to the Blonde, and the those standing near her, he stopped. “Er… Hi,” he said rubbing the back of his neck. “We need to er,…” He said, motioning with his head that they should talk, not here. |
Text Cut: Ascanius, Mika, and Kaiden ^_^ Oh good, Mika did have a good summer. Certainly sounded like it. Penelope grinned. "That's cool." Traveling was always fun, and hanging with friends was too. And camping? That was cool too. Maybe Penelope should add that to her to-do list for next summer. It could be fun to do that again. "What kinda food did you make?" And was it really THAT bad? Penelope was suddenly considering asking Mika to make her something to eat, just so she could find out herself. And she was about to when... ...another boy arrived. He was familiar too. Penelope remembered him as being on the Hufflepuff Quidditch team, though she hadn't talked much to him before. "Hey," she greeted him, though it seemed he was most interested in talking to Mika. Should she and Ascanius leave them alone and just go on to the platform or...? Hmm... |
The Baltazar family gathered out into Kings Cross. Xavier had DROVE the family to the train station. DROVE a MUGGLE CAR. Impressive, no? As he strutted down the station with a proud look on his face, Xavier pushed Peyton's cart forward, making a silly face at Cornelius, who sat on top of his daughter's trunks. It seemed like she had packed more this term around. His eyed her carefully as she walked ahead of them, his wife at her side. His three eldest daughters always packed extra because of...boys. Now one of them was married with twins, and the other two had boyfriends. Peyton was absolutely NOT ALLOWED to have a boyfriend yet. "We'll see you off, okay, darling," he said in case she had forgotten. They'd gone over it at home. He wasn't leaving until he made sure the train was safe. Anything for his little munchkin...even if she wasn't too happy about it. Ursulla walked along Peyton, her eyes ahead of her while she clutched on to her purse, tightly. Merlin. Oh Merlin, indeed. Was she the only one who'd seen what their youngest daughter was wearing? Sure, she hadn't been there to teach Peyton much about style and...this was all Xavier's fault. Taking her to Quidditch practices when she was young. It must of have had some kind of influence on the girl. Pity. Maybe she could get Yvonne, Yvette and Yvanna to help Peyton with her wardrobe choices. This just wouldn't do. Sigh. Peyton was such a father's girl. But, she loved the girl too much to complain about her clothing choices. Well, up front, anyway. They butted heads too much, that, whatever improvement they've made --which was almost non-existent-- she didn't want to ruin. ..... "Okay, daddy," Peyton replied, turning only just to send him a tight smile. Why her parents still treated her like a child was beyond her. Even her mother, she was acting like her bodyguard or something. If it was because of the Seth thing, it was over, and they didn't have to worry about it. She side-glanced at her mother and wrinkled her nose. Peyton couldn't wait until she was at Hogwarts so she wouldn't have to deal with the woman. If she thought that following her around would erase years of hurt, Ursulla Baltazar was completely wrong. "I'm going to go ahead. See you in a bit," she said, once again, turning to her father and waving at Cornelius, and ignoring her mother. Peyton then proceeded to skipping ahead of them and walking through the wall. Finally she'd be free from all the smothering. :3 |
Rearanging the order SPOILER!!: youawesomepeople Mika just laughed when Penelope asked her about the food. “Well…um, my food is quite wretched…I think I tried to make eggs and they turned like rubbery and black and bounced a bit.” Yep. Rubbery black bouncing burnt to crisp eggs didn’t sound like something she would eat. “But yeah…the eggs aren’t the worst of it. You know the cupcakes that were given to the prefects last term. I made them, I didn’t taste the batter if I had I’d never have left them.” She laughed nervously as she hadn’t told anyone she had made those evil cupcakes. The blonde hadn’t realized until she had heard Penelope’s greeting that someone else had walked up. Oh molten marshmallows! She blinked a bit and looked over to Kaiden. “H-uh-hi.” Yeah. That was awesome. She’d managed to make it sound like she was either a neighing horse or maybe coming down with some kind of horse-sounding cough. But she wasn’t. She was just suddenly nervous. “um…why don’t you two head to the platform and we can catch up to you guys maybe? I’ve got to trade off some things…little fluffy pink and purple things that might end up wearing wellies” she beamed at that. Yep. She was hinting that it was a Pygmy puff drop off before she waved and stepped to the side and glanced over at Kaiden. ”So – um…why don’t we talk over…” she glanced around and found a remotely empty spot in the square. ”here…” she said as she positioned herself so she could lean against her trolley. Glancing at her watch she knew they had some time but not much. ”Or you know what…Kaid, why don’t we just get a compartment together on the train and talk there?” she offered as she knew quite well the train would be arriving any minute to take them off to school…well, they had ten minutes or so. |
SPOILER!!: Kaiden, Mika AND Penn XD Ascanius was all smirks as he spoke to the two lovely ladies. This was just perfect for him. He was attractive, they were attractive. Good looking people just tended to bring about attractive people and from what he had seen of Hogwarts girls he was going to have plenty of company. Smirk. Wink. So it was no shock to him that their conversation was going just splendidly. 'Sides, Mika had a cute little blush that was OBVIOUSLY brought about by him so he was keen on her sticking around. Also, Spot was there too so he was in good company. And then someone ELSE showed up and ruined their fun. Jeez, and he was rubbing the back of his neck and starting a sentence with er? Where was the confidence? Was this guy some kind of ninny? Ugh, he dealt with beautiful girls enough to not have to deal with some half-hearted girly!man. Honestly. Bugger off, guy. No one wants you here. Smirking at the new guy who was literally like worms meat in this little conversation they were having, Ascanius said, "I'm sorry. I don't know if that was a hi or an er. You have to me more specific." Smirks all around. "And sorry mate. But we're in the middle of a chat, yeah?" Yeah, they were. But he was being rude. He decided to be a little bit more tactful, "By the way, I'm Ascanius." And no, he wasn't joking. It was a name, okay? |

Minerva giggled at his nervousness, not that she was being mean, but she just remembered her own fear. "Yes, I remember being terrified, my mom had to literally throw me into it." Her mind slipping again she thought about her mom and that first trip here, moments like this she really missed her parents. "It will not close on you unless you miss the time. You have plenty of time at the moment, so just take a deep breath and go through it. Like I said, I can do it first if you like." |
"We have to make sure all your things were carry over, dear," said Mother as she helped Aphrodite to bring down entire luggage. "C'mon honey, I know you are very happy, but we should still be careful on Muggles. Never let them see us through walls," Father said, winking toward Aphrodite. Accompanied by Father and Mother, five children are with their each trolley slowly entering King's Cross Station and Aphrodite's first year is about to begin. "You ready?" asked Father while embracing and smiling at her. "Of course, Father! Come on!" she said, pushing her cart with Father's help. |

Well the girl did look like a first year, deciding to make a small talk while she waited for her twin, she walked briskly towards the girl. She waited patiently for her to get over with parents. "Hey" she called, a bit loudly. "Are you a first year too?" she asked. |

"Hey movies can be awesome." Laura giggled at Nigel's next sentence. "I can't believe you can call a movie awesome if you don't know the name." Laura had no idea how someone can say that a movie was awesome if they hadn't seen it. *bounces* *bounces* Laura was jumping up and down like crazy. "I'm not sure because I don't like sitting still and I have owls this term and it's going to be hard to sit still and do them." Laura smiled she couldn't wait to see what would happen when she tried to stay still for that long. |

Laura had no idea why they were talking about this but she didn't want to be rude so she decided to ask Nigel. |

Why not? Duh. Genius, Gwen. Upon finally hearing some good news, her first reaction was to wonder WHY things were actually not going that bad. So… he really didn’t hate her? Her thoughts were then interrupted by something else he said. Have a nice day? Really, Zeke? Gwen tried not to roll her eyes. Could that day be nice? It already started awfully. Really. The one person she actually liked hated her. Or not. He didn’t even hate her. He was just indifferent. Which was probably even worse. How great was that?! ‘Yeah, you too’, she eventually mumbled, drawing her attention away from Zeke. |

Text Cut: Penelope, Miks, and Whats-his-face ;) Oh, That other girl was saying hello… “Hi.” He said giving her a nod, and feeling Toad shift slightly on his shoulder. “You’re… Quidditch right?” He was pretty sure she was. And then that other person. Kaiden narrowed his eyes at him, and crossed his arms. “Wasn’t talking to you, and I can talk to who ever I like.” As he spoke, he felt a slight pressure change on his shoulder, and quickly put his hand up to stop the toad from jumping at Whats-his-face. “Stop it” he said, grabbing hold of him. And see, Miks was telling them to go away. She didn’t want to talk to him anymore. “Not the rain boots.” He said frowning. Following the girl he shook his head at her designated spot… “I think we should talk… not here. We should got to the platform, at least.” |
SPOILER!!: eying you Great. This was just great - so her bestie from school was completely giving the new guy stank eyes. Well - it was obvious these two weren't getting along. One thing was certain the new guy had a super cool name...so she didn't have to call him new guy for an entire term. That was good...because new guy kind of was one of those things that lost its edge once the guy was no longer new. "Ascanius? That is one epic name" Mika just smiled at the guy and sent Kaiden and his toad a slight look. Partly because she was confused. Why on earth was the amphibian acting so...cross? She had to stop herself from laughing when Ascanius said they were in the middle of a chat. The way he brushed people off - that was...she needed lessons in that. Seriously. He was almost the perfect slytherin! The laughter almost burst forth earlier too when he commented about the erring. Turning to Penelope and Ascanius shortly she smiled. "If you want i'll stop off and finish the chat on the train yeah? Kaiden - he has two lovely pygmy puffs on him I forgot to pick up from him the other day." She smiled brightly - beamed really. "It was an early birthday thingy even though its not till October." Even more BEAMING. Though her eyebrows pulled together in confusion as Kaiden said it wasn't about the Wellies. What? What on earth did he want to talk to her about that didn't have to deal with the little teeny-weenie feet that fit in those shrunken rain boots. If she wasn't going to hand off the pygmy puffs she was going to do something drastic. Like paint him purple with the spray paint in her bag. When he plummeted further and said they shouldn't talk there she simply wanted to reach her little arms out and shake him like a rag doll. Of course, all the while yelling WHY NOT RIGHT HERE! WHERE THEN? but she didn't, and she didn't have to. Because he gave her a place...on the platform. Seriously. He could have said that earlier....lets talk on the platform or lets talk on the train was so much easier than 'lets talk in private' and then 'lets talk on the platform'. She had half a mind to say make up your mind person! She just eyed him as she pushed back toward the group. "Um...so, about that you want to head to the train soon?" She asked Penelope and Ascanius in turn - of course Kaiden was included but she just was a little ticked he didn't bring up the topic then. SHE wasn't patient. She wanted to know. Her ticket was firmly in her hand as she pushed off and began to head to the platform. |
Taking a drive to the station was kind of the least magical thing that Jayden had experienced for the past few days. From the leaky cauldron, to Diagon Alley and then Ollivanders; all these were definitely far beyond Jayden's dreams. After that wonderful experience, He simply could not wait to get on to the platform. Getting out of the car, the Campbell family brisk walked through the busy station to the gateway of platform 9 & 3/4. |
Petra stood by the entrance and hugged her Mom and Dad for the last time, she was still upset with them for hidding the fact that they to attended Hogwarts but she understood why they kept that secret from her, and why they decided to livein the muggle community. So with a final wave I turned the cart around and entered my way onto platform 9 3/4 and started walking toward the train. It was the first time in her life that Petra felt alone..but maybe just maybe she would meet some more first years like herself and she wouldn't feel so alone. |
Trains from Brighton didn't go straight to Kings Cross, so instead Tobias and both of his grandparents to the train station literally right across the road, which also housed international train lines. Only minutes after leaving that train, Tobias and the two old people were at the public square of Kings Cross. It was a good job they didn't have to stop and check the departures board or anything, because the curious outline of Tobias' new broom in its paper wrapping was drawing the attention from a good few muggles. Also, the energetic kitten in its temporary carrying basket was doing the same job. They still had ages, but Tobias' grandfather suggested it would be a good idea to get on the platform and load up his heavy trunk as soon as they could, and get out of sight of muggles. Toby agreed and nodded at the man, before grinning at him and his grandmother, before the three of them headed in the general direction of the barrier between platforms 9 and 10. |
Marigold tugged on her fathers hand as she rushed towards the barrier. Her father, on the other hand, pretended not to feel it and leaned back, effectively slowing her down. "Da-ad," Marigold giggled. He looked at her innocently. She rolled her eyes and shared a smile with her mom, who was pushing her trolley. She let go of her father's hand and skipped over to her mother, and took the trolley's burden from her. She poked her finger through her kittens cage and laughed as Nibbles tried to bite it. She looked up as her mother and father leisurely strolled. "Marigold honey, why don't you and your father go ahead through the barrier and I stay here?" Marigold's mother asked her. Marigold paused, and let go of the trolley. Her father pushed it as she hugged her mother. "I'll write a LOT," Marigold said excitedly. "I'll let you know EVERYTHING!" Marigold's mother smiled. Though she was a muggle, she understood the feeling that Marigold was having. After one last hug, Marigold waved goodbye and ran back to her father, who put an arm around her, and the two of them walked to the barrier. |
Another year. Another train ride. Jake's last. He had a feeling that he should have... feelings. But he didn't. He knew he wasn't going to be one of those sentimental seventh years. He was mostly just excited to be done with school. So this was just another train ride. He was also, however, excited to see Anya. They were supposed to meet somewhere here... So Jake stood with his trolley - holding both his and his girlfriend's things because apparently he was the pack mule in the relationship - and watched as a few people went through the barrier. He'd wait a few minutes before he did the same. |

And they were right. Speaking of Jake. Where was that boyfriend of hers? He had all her things. Why? Because. Pfft. Anya wasn't going to carry things if Jake volunteered to. Or... was going to be there. Really, his existence made her lazy. But that was okay. He probably didn't even notice that she volunteered him to bring her trunk before it was too late. She readjusted her bag on her shoulder before she spotted him. With a wide grin on her face, she ran over to him and threw herself into his arms. |
To anyone who wants a hyper boy ^_^ Donnacha Harper had dubbed a lot of days the best day of his life, but today was definitely the best day of his life ever, he was FINALLY going to Hogwarts..! The eleven year old walked next to his parents and stared around in amazement, he'd never seen this many muggles in his life! Muggles weren't even the best part of today, he was about to go on a train and Abbi would be there too. He was even allowed to wear a shirt with Mr Oliver's head on it. He had insisted on wearing it today and the fact that it was more of a dress than a t-shirt didn't matter at all, he'd be cool just like Oliver. Donny patted Oliver's head on his t-shirt before returning his attention to all the new people. |
Elodie tutted as her brother fussed over her once more, as if it was the first time she was leaving for school. The first time in her life. IT WAS NOT, THOUGH. It as actually her fifth time leaving London for Hogwarts, and she'd be back in a few months for Christmas. Anyone would think she was his personal "Wadley Womeo, you silly banilly!" Cooing. Cooing was good. She was like the baby whisperer or something. Elodie leant in and gave him a biiig kiss, or maybe a few of them. A few of them, yeah. "Auntie Elsy see you at Christmas, 'kay? Youuu be a good boy." And don't grow. He was going to be so old by then. Sadfffface. And then she was off. After giving her brother a hug, Elodie loaded up with her trunk, owl and bits and bobs and pushed in the general direction of the barrier, yelling a quick "See you on the flipside, big bug!" and then no Elodie for the Braison until December. HELLO BARRIER. At least her brother wasn't FOLLOWING her through to the platform this year, and waving her off like a parent. That whole calling him 'dad' thing didn't mean he could..be all embarrassing dad. BYE BRAIS. |
Anyone. ^_^ This was it. He was nearly done with his schooling but of course he would have to most likely attend Wizard University, Nashville really didn't want to think about his future quite yet, he just wanted to get through this term without any fights, Quidditch loses and Dementors. Nashville's first year at Hogwarts wasn't really the greatest but he was better than being at Durmstrang or Beauxbatons but the seventeen year old like Beauxbatons a lot more than Durmstrang. |
