Laura had been really busy this summer and now she was heading off for her fifth year at Hogwarts, at the start of the summer things had happened and she had thought about not coming back but in the end she had decided that she should even though she was really sure what to expect from this year, she couldn't wait to see Sophie and Ella though, she hadn't seen them or Carigan for ages and that was the one thing she was looking forwards too.
Nigel was ready to start a new term. His summer was terribly boring. He did nothing that was worth even talking about. He could not believe he was going into his fourth year. He could remember his first year like it was yesterday.
He starts to walk across the square looking for people he recognized. He did want to get to the train as fast as he could. But socializing never hurt. He looks around and spotted Laura. He walks over to her because he was not spoken to her in a while. Probably even more than a while.
"Hey Laura, How was your summer."

Anyway, he followed the directions that had been in his letter and got himself to King's Cross alright. Now that he was there though, Ascanius was at a loss of what to do. How did one get to a 9 and 3/4. What kind of a stupid name for a station was that? Psh. Stupid, stupid.
Now where to go. Did anyone wanna help an EXTREMELY attractive guy find his way? Ladies only please. Wink.

Merlin, Penelope kept losing people. One moment she was deciding whether she actually needed a trolley for her single trunk, the next she was trying to find her boyfriend and her cat. Because Spot too had wandered off for some reason. Merlin's beard. Of all the times to wander off. Looking for people in a big crowd was one of the times being short was not a good thing.
Dragging her trunk behind her, she looked around the station, hoping one of the ones she was looking for would just pop up and make her life easier. Or preferably they'd both be in the same place with other people she knew. That would take out two birds with one stone....
There!
There was her cat, pawing at a girl - Mika was her name right? - her cat was pawing at the girl's shoe. And, conveniently, the girl was talking to Ascanius. Excellent. Two birds, one stone.
"Hey guys," Penelope said as she walked over to them, bending down to scoop up Spot in one arm. "Sorry about that, Mika." It didn't look like Spot had done anything to the girl's foot or shoe at least. Thank Merlin.

Hmm.. another year. Wade thought as he casually leaned against the handle of cart filled with his luggage of school essentials and items. It was his Sixth year, and second term at Hogwarts. He had just said his final goodbyes to his dad earlier when he was dropped off.. now he just had to go through the Platform.
Wade first looked around to see any familiar people. The busy crowd of mainly muggles made this difficult, though. So, he began pushing his cart in the direction of that platform, lowly whistling as he took his time.
And here he was again. King's Cross Station. It was Zeke's last year in Hogwarts, yet he can't even bring himself to be nostalgic about anything especially since he can't remember his past. To him, this was only his 2nd year at the Wizarding School. His 2nd and final year.
But again, for the second time around, Ezekiel Andrei de Ferreis was alone. And yes, Zeke told me to use his full name to add some dramatic effect. Anyway, he pushed his luggage like a normal Muggle would, trying his best to blend in.
The final train ride to Hogwarts.
The final year.
It all sounded very weird to Gwen. Maybe she wasn’t actually ready for this. But she was definitely looking forward to getting back to Hogwarts. Uh. It was just confusing. What was even weirder was the fact that Zeke was back… and he wasn’t as annoying as he used to be. Hmm.
Speaking of which---
Gwen only now managed to spot the Gryffindor, who was just a few steps ahead. She walked a bit faster, until she manage to catch up with him. ‘Hey’.

"I'd better get going,'' the boy thought, looking around again. He pushed his trolley towards the Wall.
The sixth year--- now wait—seventh year was making her way to the wall at 9 and 3/4 , already making a plan of going to look for her friends. Well, she was almost sure she would probably not manage to find the people she was looking for around the station- because the place was always crowded. Though, maybe once they got on the train?
Mhm. That sounded like a good plan.
As she thought about it, Gwen only got to take a few more footsteps, when she managed to spot someone.
‘JORY!’
With a grin on her face, the SEVENTH year walked towards the Hufflepuff. Hi!

He knew that voice far too well. That in itself was not a good sign at all. Zeke turned and shot a smile at her...though his eyes were clearly not expressing the same feeling. Argh, this was way too hard for him to take. If only he had the guts to tell Gwen what's happening.

Bored and lost. That was what Ascanius was at the moment. These directions that he had been given were PITIFUL at best and now had him just walking in circles. Come out, come out wherever you are platform 9 and 3/4. Ugh, he was never gonna find it at this rate, yeah? It was a rubbish name anyway. Who named a station 9 and 3/4?
And then to make matters worse someone bumped into his trolley and nearly had him falling over-
Oh hey there, gorgeous. Nah, she was good. She could bump into him all she liked. 'Sides, this one was easy on the eyes. So he was all smirks and smiles when she started to stumble out her next sentence, "No harm, no foul, gorgeous," he winked. Oh, she wanted to help him. That was awesome, "Yeah, this platform 9 and 3/4... you know where it is, beautiful?" 'Cuz he was lost.
Jeez, CAT! No wait, it wasn't just a cat. It was a Spot. And if Spot was here a girlfriend was not too far behind. When she popped up, he smirked at her and said, "Lost the cat, Pen?" Poor Spot.

""Hi." Zeke continued to walk on forward.
Well. Erm.
This was awkward.
Maybe she shouldn’t have made her presence noticed. Erm. What to do now?! She couldn’t just walk away, could she? No. because they were heading the same way. So Gwendolyn continued walking towards the platform 9 3/4.
‘What’s with all the enthusiasm?’, she said sarcastically. Ehh. She probably was the last person he wanted to see…but…

Mehh.
Huh, so she noticed. It figures. It takes one to know one. And definitely, the Ice Princess was a master of giving the cold shoulder. Or anything related to being indifferent, sarcastic, and rude.
Ever since he got into a relationship with Evie, Zeke couldn't help but notice the difference between her and the Ice Princess. It bothered him a lot. To have been blinded by the girl's obvious hatred towards him. How she tried to get away from him a number of times. How he paid no attention to her snide remarks. Only in that moment did he realize all this. Hm. Love is blind, eh?
Not anymore...
He won't be that guy who forces himself on people. So he decided before going on his final year to Hogwarts to stop bothering Gwen. If she doesn't see Zeke as a normal person she could be friends with, then, why try anymore? It's all pointless... Siiiigh. To think that he had even thought of them ending up together. Psh. It was mere fantasy. A thing that couldn't even exist in dreams or in one's imagination. It was too impossible to think of.
Just don't look at her directly Zeke. It won't be a problem trying to forget about Ice Princ-Gwen. Looking straight ahead, he replied, "I'm just happy as ever." Yeah. Right.

Mika just laughed and maybe flushed a bit out of nervousness when Ascanius was being nice…and the winking, winking always made her laugh. ”Aw thanks – and yeah, I know where the platform is” she smiled brightly again.
And then a weird tickling sensation like something poking her foot happened just randomly. Seriously there wasn’t anything there. She thought, so she just glanced at her foot and laughed. There was a cat there.
Glancing down she just spotted a cat. A rather nice looking cat – he was cute. Seriously. And then she heard Penelope’s voice and two and two went together. The cat was her cat – right?
”Oh, Hey Penelope!” she smiled as she saw the Gryffindor girl. Seriously she needed to talk to her more – especially if she had such a pretty boyfriend.

So, here she was back at King's Cross. After spending the whole month of August basically not visiting any of her favorite places in Muggle London thanks to her aunt who thought it be a good idea for her to stay where wizards could keep an eye on her. Pregnancy was giving that woman nuttier and nuttier ideas. But of course, she didn't want to be THAT person. You know, the one that made the preggo lady's mood even worse. So, she'd begrudgingly stayed mostly in Diagon Alley the entire time she'd been in town. Which meant that Sky felt a mixture of sadness and happiness at the thought of going back to Hogwarts.
Anyway, after saying bye to her aunt, she started making her way to the wall to the platform, pulling her extra large trunk behind her, when she ran into a little girl who seemed lost. And cue eye roll. Surely someone had told her how to get to the platform, right? Which meant that the silly girl had either forgotten or not believed. Sigh. Wasn't setting these kids straight the job of the prefects? Yet, not a one was in view. "The wall is up that way," she spoke up drily, nodding it's direction. "You walk right through it." There. Fixed that little problem.
Woah person talking to her. At first she didn't notice, she was too busy figuring out what to yell at Nate whenever she saw him next. As she caught sight of what the woman said, Tanner frowned. She knew that. SHe knew that all along. Okay, so maybe that statement came with an awkward laugh and some neck scratching (i.e false statement) but it's the thought that counts. Hehe.
The helper also seemed a little ticked off at the blond, and though she couldn't figure out why, she decided not to ask. More conversation wouldn't do anything but make the situation harder. So, with a small push of her cart to force it into motion, she was off.
"Thanks." It was only a whisper as she passed the helper, but she really didn't want to yell or anything, and her blush was too big for face to face conversation right now.
Reaching what she assumed was the right way of the platform, Tanner took about eight steps back, digging her sneakers into the cement a couple of times to get a good pull on her cart. Okay. Now just run at the platform full speed. It'd just a brick wall. Nothing major. And you should go through. You're a wizard. Awesome peptalk, she thought, placing her hands into a better position on the cart.
She started at a jog, picking up to a run as she got closer. Before she hit the wall she let out a small yell. She had no idea if she was going to hit the wall and fall or actually make it. Luckily it was the second

Ronnie stared around her, slowly trailing behind her family. It was crazy. This was the last time she'd be going through the barrier to go to Hogwarts. She swallowed hard. She was already feeling emotional about her last year and it was only just starting.
"C'mon, Rons!" Liam called, glancing behind him at Ronnie who was going awfully slow. "We don't wanna miss the train!" he said.
Ronnie gripped her trolley and caught up to her brothers and parents. Liam smiled down at her. She smiled back up at him and then they reached the wall. She then noticed her friend Jory who was about to go through. She smiled and pushed her trolley next to his. "Hey, Jory." she said with a smile. "Would you like to sit with me on the train?" she asked.
Five years ago his whole family was here seeing him off. The friends he had made the summer before Alec, Anya and Adeline was there. Well he meet Adeline right here at Kings Cross. And even Carter Anya's brother was there. But now today the fifth year Slytherin was walking into the train station alone. The family was working. His friends were not doubt with their sweethearts. Adeline wasn't coming back.
Asher past by several muggles as he pushed his cart loaded down with his trunk, and owl cage. Avis hooting softly in her sleep. She did that alot hoot in her sleep.
So there he was a fifteen year old alone with an owl in Kings Cross. That wouldn't be so weird if he didn't see a few others with a cart loaded down like his.
Heading in the general direction as they were moving toward the wall between platforms 9 and 10. Platform 9 3/4 was his portal back to Hogwarts, back to school. Back everything he knew.
Nashville kept looking around, he loved to people watch. If people watching was a sport he would win it every time hands down. Nash was interested in people watching. Why? He didn't know.
He had seen that guy before...but where...Twitter? YES! He was talking to that kid when he was having girlfriend problems....not Nash but Asher yes. Nash didn't have a girlfriend so therefor he had no girlfriend problems.
"ASHER! 'Ello."

The newly appointed fourth year was not looking away from his gadget for even two seconds because walking was getting in the way of his PHONE TIME. His family were leading the way, because after many years now, they had it pretty much memorized. The only change was that Casper had decided to come to send Theo off. Theo's twin stood with his hands in his pockets, looking sulky but not nearly as sulky as usual.
Progress!?
Anyway... zip zap on the phooooone... until it was swooped away suddenly from his grasp.
He just stared at his hands. We hadn't stepped into the wizarding world YET, things weren't allowed to just DISAPPEAR... Oh, it was dad. Theo glared at him as the man tucked it away in his pocket.
"No phones at school."
GROWL. HISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS....
"Whatever. Bye." Theo replied, actually fighting off that hot feeling he got in his cheeks whenever he was about to cry. To distract himself, he looked for friends. Anyone would do, as long as they were a friend. Theo was in no mood to make effort with new kids today.
But he WOULD settle for anyone if he couldn't find a friend, because crossing the barrier alone was scary. Speaking of scary, he could hear his mother sobbing from a way away. No doubt it was because he just completely walked off without a proper goodbye. Uh-oh, hate mail would be arriving later, then.

Ella's eyes were a bit watery, okay? That was only because her little brother had decided to burst into tears outside the station and glue himself to the blonde's leg. It was horrible watching her Dad pry the little guy off her and she was a little shaken by the whole thing. Goodbyes were hard, yeah? The fifteen year old did her best to shake the whole thing off and stood up a little straighter, pushing her trolley towards the barrier. As she passed a sobbing woman who looked oddly familiar, the blonde spotted Theo and blinked.
Sniffle.
She couldn't whine in front of him so she'd need to suck it up. Ahem. "H-hey Theoman!" Half-hearted!Beam. "How are you?" And more importantly, she wasn't crying, okay?

She did not know if she even wanted to go pass the barrier and face her sixth year of magical education at Hogwarts. It must've been a mistake that Professor Lafay chose her as the female prefect after Sierra. She did not see anything of Prefect material in herself, nothing like what Sierra had who was a true leader and worthy of the badge. If this was some kind of prank sent to her by people who had nothing more to do than waste their lives on these types of shenanigans, one thing was for sure and that Kat would haunt them down until she graduated from school. She'll find out if this was a joke if she sees another person in the Prefects' Compartment with same badge she was wearing now The blonde wouldn't believe it at first but later on it began to sink in that in fact she was the new Slytherin female prefect. She'll grow to like having a badge soon, but for now she can continue to hang onto this thing called denial. Since nobody else could know her thoughts at the moment, then it was probably normal that someone would think she was being an idiot and just looking blankly at a wall.
Only one thing, or person even, snapped the Slytherin prefect out of her thoughts. Turning to her side, Kat gave her friend Kendall a smile in return. "Hi there, Kendall!" she greeted. The Ravenclaw was one of the few friends Kat met just last term, specifically at the Maize Maze. The blonde's eyes then fell onto her friend's hand that was apparently wrapped around with a cast. "Is it better now, your hand?" Kat asked. Everyone knew Kat could be really caring when it came to the condition of her friends so it was not anything to be shocked about if she came up to you and randomly asked about what you're feeling at the moment. "Uhm... do you need help with your things?" It was a rare offer whenever Kat would extend a hand to help someone. Kendall must be lucky today, eh? Besides, you really can't do much with a cast on your hand.
The possibility that she’d made a mistake, that it was some other blonde ahead of her instead of the Slytherin that she’d sort of befriended the previous term, hadn’t occurred to Kendall. She couldn’t remember what had happened to her after the fight with Patrick’s brother had first started, but she hadn’t forgotten anything else. She was still herself, no brain damage or anything. Just a broken wrist, but even that was almost healed. Everything that was annoying could be forgotten soon enough, aside from the wayward boyfriend. She still thought his argument why he’d been staying away was stupid, and she had things to show him. Not her cast. That was going to be going away as soon as possible, but the butterflies on her back weren’t. They were staying, and she’d found herself sidetracked from wondering if Katrina was going to realize she was standing there. There was no other explanation for that. She wasn’t walking, or running toward the barrier like she probably should have been in order to get a good spot on the train. She was just standing there like an idiot, until she’d gotten a response. That meant she had an opening, and she took a few steps closer at the bright greeting, forgetting about the questions that probably were about to come.
First, she had some of her own, as she caught the glint of a badge. “You got prefect? That’s awesome!,” she said. There was the proof, whether or not she’d actually sort of heard about that happening before now. It was actually really true, and therefore the awesome could be repeated. Plus, it deflected the concerned question that she’d been asked a bit. “My wrist,” she automatically corrected, shifting the cast behind her back more. “Almost. The healer said I should leave the cast on for a couple more days and then it can come off. They even showed me how I can do it myself.” If she didn’t want to go see Healer Tillstorm to ask if she’d remove it for her, and part of her didn’t. She’d just have to be careful casting with her left hand. Her left hand which was still wrapped around the handle to her trunk, and she glanced down at it at the offer for assistance. “It’s not heavy. Not really. Jeremiah cast a spell on everything so I could technically get it all to the train by myself,” even though he’d still offered to help her too, “I’m just wondering if I’ll need help getting it on the train, once I get through to the platform,” she replied slowly. She was a determined injured ninja superhero, but now that she’d gotten the offer, she didn’t know if it was worth admitting weakness.

Er....okay? That was rather easy. Easy, yet odd. Sky was torn between being glad that she hadn't suddenly inherited a weird ickle firstie to babysit and feeling bad that she'd obviously upset? embarrassed? the girl. She settled on the former as the girl disappeared through the wall. Wasn't her fault that weird firstie was weird after all. Shrugging it off, the sixth year made her own way through the wall, pulling her trunk behind her.

Operation 'hunt for a friend' was kind of unsuccessful so far. But at least his family had given on on the goodbyes and left. Now he could slip back into his cool school status, right? But anyway, it wasn't too long before he spotted a good friend. Because she was pretty much back into that category now, ever since they shared an Exploding Lemonade together. That was basically kissing since Theo forgot to wipe the glass after she had taken a sip.

"Hii." He said, immediately forgetting about his lack of phone. But, oh... she looked upset. Was it him? Was it someone else? Was it Alec? Maybe they had split up!! Not that it would change anything since he was very happy with Dora, but it just felt weird.
"I'm ok, but why're you crying?" Hug?? No... no... he just patted her arm.

Ella tilted her head to the side and observed the boy as he seemed to be doing a lot of thinking. Too bad she didn't know Legilimency because she wouldn't mind reading Theo's mind. She was sure there was a lot of interesting stuff going on up there. Probably slightly odd, but interesting none the less.
"Just okay?" Frown. ...Ugh. "Crying? I'm not crying. My eyes are just erm leaking a bit. They do that sometimes." Leaky faucet eyes. YUP. Seemed legit. "I should really get them looked at. Don't want to be like this all term."
Laura smiled at Nigel. "It was interesting." Laura said truthfully, it had been one very long interesting summer, though she didn't really want to talk about it because things had happened she wanted to forget about. "How was your summer?" Laura decided she would change the subject onto his summer, they could forget about hers right.

Penelope raised her arm a bit, so Spot could better climb up onto her shoulder, the cat's usual place on this day. Maybe that was why she'd wandered off before. She'd set her down for a moment, and the cat decided it was her chance to explore. It seemed so big though, and she could have easily gotten lost. Thank Merlin she apparently found Mika's shoes interesting, Penelope might not have found her so quickly.
The little cat stared unblinkingly at the other two humans as her human spoke up again. "Yeah, she wandered off," Penelope replied. "She likes to do that a lot." Though usually not around train stations like King's Cross, but there was a first time for everything, she guessed.
"Have a good summer, Mika?" she asked, returning the girl's smile. Penelope hadn't seen her since the term ended, so she didn't really have any idea of how the Ravenclaw's summer had gone, but hopefully it was good. It was never fun to have a bad summer. Penelope knew very well what that was like. Not this summer though. This holiday had been pretty awesome for once. Possibly mainly thanks to Ascanius, since she'd spent just about all of it with him. Which was why she didn't really have to ask him that question too. Heh.

It wasn't like Kat was trying to imitate a poor statue by standing there as if she could not move a muscle or twitch an eye. She was rather contemplating if she wanted to face what's in store for her. Because, honestly, she wasn't as excited as she was back in the previous terms. It may possibly be just an effect of being a prefect. The pressure that came with the badge seemed to have numbed all the joints in Kat's body. However as much as she wanted to return the prefect badge to Professor Lafay or the Headmistress for reasons, she knew deep inside that she could not. It would be a waste to throw it away. Kat didn't have enough courage to do that anyway. One thing she really appreciated was the fact the school staff trusted her with this badge. That was something that quite sparked Kat in way she didn't know. Like a bus ran over her and hit her hard in the head. All she could do is promise that she would lead the noble house of Slytherin and help them in any way she could, from those life problems to finally maybe the House Cup. That would be very much a lot of work done, but she was a Slytherin for reasons and one of them could be her ambition and determination to get whatever she wanted. Well, with Dylan and Daichi (eh) as her fellow Slytherin leaders their house could do it. Apparently she was thinking too much, but only because the effect of being a student leader was something that hit her hard. She'll have to chill for a moment.
... Okay maybe Kat didn't really hate being a prefect anymore. Her friend Kendall had noticed the badge. Kat liked the attention, but that wasn't the reason why she was sort of starting to soothen up a bit. The prefect smiled at Kendall. "Yeah, I did, and thank you," she said to the Ravenclaw. Kendall must've been the first to really notice her new shiny badge. Perhaps only because she was the first Hogwarts student she talked to for today and didn't really plan on telling the majority that she had school priviledges and duties now. "Right, your wrist..." How could she make a simple mistake? How Puffer. "Sorry." She was still having lots of things in her mind and they were unraveling through her brain like people trying to catch a bus or whatever. "I could help you with carrying your things when we reach the train, I guess," Kat said. Apparently she was trying to act all Prefect-y now, but you know, also because she was friends with Kendall.

Mhm. That sounded like a good plan.
As she thought about it, Gwen only got to take a few more footsteps, when she managed to spot someone.
‘JORY!’
With a grin on her face, the SEVENTH year walked towards the Hufflepuff. Hi!
Jory had given up looking for any of his friends and was now waving at the clue car which was taking his parents and his sulking sister back home. He was in a bad mood because his sister had gotten him angry when she poked and prodded Furball. He had actually yelled at her, something he could not remember doing before.
Grace puzzled poor Jory sometimes. She would be nice to him one moment and then she'd be mean another. He supposed that she forced herself to be nice to him especially when their parents were around. He had put up with her behavior over the summer not saying anything to his parents though he suspected they noticed what was going on because he heard his mom questioning Grace on why she was being different around him. Just because she didn't have magical abilities... But poking Furball repeatedly was enough. Jory lost it and really, he didn't care right now about what he had done.
As the car disappeared, Jory heard someone practically yelling his name. He looked around. He was not in the mood for company. "Oh, hi, Gwen,'' he said locating the person, plastering a smile on his face. He needed to put all this behind him. For now, anyway. He needed to enjoy his final year. "How are you?''
SPOILER!!: Ronnie

"C'mon, Rons!" Liam called, glancing behind him at Ronnie who was going awfully slow. "We don't wanna miss the train!" he said.
Ronnie gripped her trolley and caught up to her brothers and parents. Liam smiled down at her. She smiled back up at him and then they reached the wall. She then noticed her friend Jory who was about to go through. She smiled and pushed her trolley next to his. "Hey, Jory." she said with a smile. "Would you like to sit with me on the train?" she asked.
Jory was about to go through the Wall but had suddenly paused. He was entering here for the last time. It seemed just like the other day, a confused and nervous eleven year old turned up at King's Cross pushing a trolley containing his trunk and owl cage. Where had the years gone?
He was so lost in his world of thoughts that he failed to noticed the persons standing right next to him. That is, until a familiar voice spoke. He looked around. "Hello, Ronnie,'' the boy said with a huge goofy grin. He had missed his friend since they last met in Diagon Alley. "Of course I would.'' He looked at the others who accompanied her. This must be her family. The Rockstars.
Right.
Gwendolyn made her way around the public area at the train station, still waiting for Zeke to reply something. Well… truth be told, she had never actually seen him this- disappointed? Sad? Gwen just thought about this as she twirled the copy of the newspaper in her left hand. Eh. Nervousness. She was trying not to think about everything that happened lately- But that didn’t work. She remembered the time when they met at the fountain this summer. Huh. She really had been rude… Ugh. And then the bowling alley. Zeke’s mood swings. Everything seemed to have changed since she mentioned it was great hanging out with him. Ughhh.
Happy as ever? Riiiight.‘I know that you probably hate me’, she started saying. Uh. Probably?, Gwen then thought. No. Surely. He surely hated her now. And she could see why.
‘But can you at least talk to me?’NORMALLY? Have a normal conversation? Not just ‘Hi’ and ‘I’m fine’?
SPOILER!!: Jory

‘I’m good… happy to be going back’, she replied. Yes, she decided NOT to worry about this being her final year and just be glad to be going back to Hogwarts. So far, it was working.
GRIN.
Gwen was happy to see Jory again. She really was. Though… the Huflepuff didn’t seem to feel the same way. Erm. Gwendolyn didn’t generally notice these things- when people were upset or something. Not really. She usually tended to ignore these things. But now it was impossible to overlook the fact that Jory wasn’t fine. He, who was always cheerful and all. ‘What’s wrong?’ Because she cared, alright?

"I could help you with carrying your things when we reach the train, I guess," Kat said. Apparently she was trying to act all Prefect-y now, but you know, also because she was friends with Kendall.
Oddly enough, now that she’d really gotten a good look at both of them, Kendall realized that she hadn’t been the only one just standing there staring at the wall as if she expected it to just open up and let her through without having to actually run through it. That would have been way easier at the moment, as she was still a bit worried that she wasn’t going to be able to control her trunk with one hand while she was passing through. Since she still wasn’t quite able to trust it to go at it at a walk. It was going to have to be a run, and that meant she had to get up the courage to try it. Of course, the worst case scenario was that she’d crash and hurt herself, and that really wasn’t a problem right now. She was already injured as it was, and maybe that would mean she’d have to find a different way to get to Hogwarts. She wouldn’t have to sit by herself on the train and wonder where Patrick was hiding at, or where anyone else was. She probably wouldn’t be doing too much wandering, just because she didn’t feel like explaining why she had a cast on her wrist seven million times. She already knew that Beezus would have been in the prefect compartment, along with Katrina. Most everyone else she didn’t know if they’d understand, or if they’d have dozens of questions as to why she’d tried to fight her boyfriend’s brother anyway.
People didn’t need to understand that. She knew what she had wanted to do, and while it certainly hadn’t gone the way she’d wanted, it had made a point. Either way, she figured she’d made her point. As far as she knew, he wasn’t about to listen to the evil opinions of his family anymore and believe he was worthless, so a broken wrist was nothing. Just an annoyance that was pushed away by the conversation with Katrina about her sparkly badge. “You’re welcome,” she replied, looking at the blonde Slytherin a bit curiously. It almost seemed like she hadn’t entirely been as excited about it as Kendall had been. That wasn’t really important. Katrina could deal with the honor however she wanted, and she’d just have the knowledge that she had more than one friend who was a prefect. Even though she still had that plan to finally manage to put into action, hopefully this term. Nothing was happening until she got her cast off. “It’s okay. You don’t need to apologize,” she replied. The cast did cover most of her hand too, after all, so that could confuse people. “You can if you want to. I don’t want you to think you have to stick around just to help me if you have other places you want to be, or you need to be.” The Slytherin was going to have to be all prefect-y and stuff, as far as she knew. She wasn’t about to turn down help if it was offered, but she wouldn’t be all selfish either.

" I basically did nothing interesting this summer. Read some books while helping my uncle at the ministry."
His uncle's job was interesting. But not really exciting. Nigel might as well start some research of his own while waiting in the receiving area.
"But i did see some awesome movies. Just can't remember their names. You ready to start a new year?"
