"Can we go somewhere a little more... clandestine... to talk? And... do you have any friends you can truly trust? We're going to need help, if we want to ensure success..." Xana knew she was talking around the situation, and knew it would annoy Diabolica, but she needed to be really careful-- and the middle of Honeyduke's didn't strike her as the best place to lay out her plans. Rapunzel stood back by the door, tapping her foot, and then recalled that Diabolica had known all along who she was talking about. That made her smile again, and she was still smiling when Josh Monsoon wandered into the shop once more. Quote:

Besides, she trusts me, and I trust her--she's about the only Huffie I trust completly...her friend and I are not on the best of terms right now, as we had a disagreement earlier in the term." she started walking back towards Rapunzel and Josh.

"I'm a little shy, and I've never been more than a year in the same school, so I sometimes find it's hard to make friends. Dia's been perhaps the only true friend I really have at this school... She was shy, it was true... but Xana was hoping that the boy would take the hint and take the time to help her get to know other students... which would help her get to know him better.

He had a hard time believing it when she took to him. " Im sure its hard to move to different schools. I've always been here at Hogwarts. Of course, I'll be your friend." he told her.
" Sure most of my friends are Slytherins and Ravenclaws. I have a few hufflepuffs friends. I think about one. " he said chuckling. " So tell me about yourself? Its only fair." | |

Xana shrugged, and her cloak slipped a bit, coming off her bare shoulder. She blushed and adjusted her cloak back into place. "Hard to know what to tell... I've been to virtually every co-ed and girls' wizarding school on the planet, but none of them seem to work out for me. I guess I'm just... an iconoclast? Yes, that'll do as a description. Dia and I have been friends forever, it seems, since we were both very very small. In fact, the fact that she's here is what convinced my guardians to send me here. I guess they think she'll be an... influence on me. " She smirked a little, her eyes flashing darkly.
"But so far Hogwarts hasn't been a very welcoming place for me... nearly everywhere I go, people have been very difficult, and Cassandra has been the worst sort-- day one she attacked me on a lark, and since then she's been turning people against me." She shrugged again. "It's nice to know that there are nice people here after all. "
"But enough about me... what are your favorite subjects? Do you enjoy being in Slytherin house? "

Tanceren walked down the street leading himself into Honeydukes. Only A pair of jeans, Canverse, A Black T-shirt, And A hoodie was keeping him warm. He entered the little shop and shut the door behind him. Glaring around the room his eyes narrowed on Josh. He gave A smirk and walked over. Tance cleared his throat as he stood next to Josh. "And who do we have here?" He asked sacrastically then looked at the girl. She seemed to be about his age, maybe A little older. He gave her A wink then turned back to Josh. "And where have you been, Moonson?" He snickered then smirked once more.

Josh couldnt help but notice her clothes falling off. He gave her a smile as he listened to her talking." At least you weren't in a only girls school. I would imagine i would die in an only guys school." he said as he loved girls, if nothing else they were quite wonderful to stare at." Guardians. So you have no parents then?" he asked wondering if thats what she meant Guardians. Or did it mean thats how unattached she was to her parents. Thats about how he felt about his father. Telling him that he was not good enough to have the family name or for the slytherin house.
"Their are good people here." he told her with confidence." You cant go anywhere anymore without having people that want to bring you down. Really their are those in all houses. " he said as chuckled about the fact.
"Me? You will get bored of me. Im not that interesting i promise you." he said then answering her questions."My favorite subject is DADA. Couldnt see that coming. I wont go to divination, its full of rubbish. She makes things up when she talks i think. And she is a bit loony if you ask me. Thats being nice. I like being here in slytherin. I cant see my being anywhere else. Hufflepuff is not one of my houses, Im to lazy to be in Ravenclaw and Gryffidor is a bit blind for me. And you?" he asked looking at her. Quote:

Josh looked to see Lance. or was it Tance. who knew. " Hey." he said to him. He laughed as he then asked," And are you my mother?" he joked as he didnt know why the kid had to know where he was. he had just meet the kid. " This is Xana." he said to him. "Actually I did go to one girls-only school, out in Australia. It was rubbish; I find I get along so much better with gentlemen than I do with girls, all in all." She smiled.

"I completely agree about Divination-- pure rubbish. I haven't been troubled to go up to class since the first session. And I love DADA too... I wish they'd delve more into the arts themselves, though, not just defense -- don't you feel that we need to know what's out there to defend ourselves against, to be fully educated?" She laughed lightly. "I like Slytherin well enough-- though it really can be a snake pit, can't it? I feel more at home there than I would in any of the other houses, at least. Is your family pure-blood; did you inherit Slytherin bloodlines, or is it just your own... personality traits that placed you here?"
