Excelsior rushed up to the counter at Honeydukes, anxious to buy the kind of candy that Monica loved. "I'll have a double helping of chocolate frogs, sugar quills, sugar mice and lemon drops," he said. He then divided the candy up carefully into two bags, making sure Monica and he each had an equal share of the candy they loved. He got the bag ready to present to her along with the special little gift he had saved up to present her with at a very special time, he never knew when that time would be but this looked like a pretty good one.  The medallion was an ancient African one, and showed the lion and the snake together. He couldn't think of a better symbol to show how Gryffindor and Slytherin get along together. He had another one that he was saving to give to Sarah, along with the gold fish necklace.
He walked to Monica and presented her with the gifts saying, I really hope you feel better."
