"Oh, yea!" He said commenting on Tuesday's bravery. "The hat didn't go and get dizzy on honey meade and go, 'Tuesday Gracie...hic...Slytherin!'." He said imitating what he thought the hat would sound like drunk.

"Everyone who is in this house, our house, has been sorted here for a reason and Tuesday no less than any other. From what few moments I've had with her, she seems to be very intelligent. I'm glad she's probably off doing her homework. We're not that far off from Gryffindor, if we had at least 100 extra points and could win the game against Ravenclaw, we might be able to take the house cup. It would be a nice change as we've been dead last in the past 5 years." He said, highlighting his tendency to be an occassional windbag. Though he was probably more of a cynic, their holding of second place in the points race did give him some hope for being more than last this year.

Claudian couldn't hold it in any longer, he let out a huge, booming laugh at the suggestion of checking the Slytherin girls dorms. "There's GOT to be a good invisibility spell specifically for that!"

"Well...as we were entering the class I saw her and a couple of other Slytherins and she said 'hullo', but she did it in her funny little way...you know how she speaks...So, I go and sit near her and we keep talking, we hadn't seen each other since the Slytherin feasting table, so we caught up a bit. But, we kept talking through Professor Erikson's lecture. He didn't seem mad, exactly, but he can be very intimidating and he'd asked Tuesday if she'd like to say anything to the class commentary and then Tuesday said she didn't understand it completely. Well then Erikson asks her what exactly she doesn't understand, and she got really nervous and didn't say anything for the rest of the class. I had already stopped speaking by the time Erikson came over and addressed her and he'd've never bought it if I said it was entirely my fault, though, believe me, I was tempted to take blame."

Slughorn sighed. He needed another butterbeer. "I think this was the first Herbology class I'd seen her in. And, I don't want it to be her last. I thought if I could talk to her and convince her that Erikson really does care for his students, she'd at least consider coming to another class."

“Bleh!” Was all Clifford managed to say at Sarah’s career choices. Writing?? Chasing dark wizards?? Who would want to do that with their lives? Crazy people most likely. He wasn’t going to say this to Sarah though.

Looking away from the shelves he spotted Claudian, talking to another familiar older Slytherin. He found the older Slytherins a little … scary, and so gave a polite nod in their direction before turning back to his Gryffie friend.

“Our sweet shop would be the best!” He said brightly, “Ooooh… and we could invent new sweets too.” He gave a little spin on the spot, excitement taking over him. “Hey! We’ll need a name. You’re the smart, creative Gryffindor. What’s our sweetshop called?”

Jayden laughed. "No worries. Im not worried about it but yes Ryan Lee adn you." he said

Sarah just shook her head, when all Clifford could say was....Bleh. She wasn't expecting anything on that topic out of him anyway. She had admit it was just one crazy thing to think about.

"Oh yesh! a name..."Sarah chuckled when he said she was suppose to be the smart and creative one. "How about...."She began but pretended to be thinking as she scratched her chin. "Ok.. How about, Clifford and Sarah's Drooling Pops"Sarah said, with excitement. It wasn't the best, but right now all she could think was about drooling.

Clifford waited patiently as Sarah put on her thoughtful face, he used the break to scan more shelves. Yummy. Owning his own sweet shop would be like a dream come true.

“Clifford and Sarah’s Drooling Pops?” He asked, his face cracking into a huge grin. “That’s brilliant Sarah! You’re so clever!!” He said enthusiastically, bouncing on the balls of his feet.

He knew it would probably never happen. Him and Sarah running their own sweet shop. But there was no harm in dreaming was there? "Oooh.. can we hire house-elves too?"

Sarah grinned broadly when Clifford said the name of the shop was brilliant. "Why Thank You,"She said beaming and laughed out loud when he started bouncing on his feet again.

She felt enthusiastic too now, it was a good idea to get out of the castle, she felt much better. Even though she was o where near solving the problem with Excelsior, at least she was feeling better.

"Huh? Sarah snapped out of her thoughts when she heard Clifford's voice. She chuckled, of course they were just joshing around but it was fun. "Of course we could..."But Sarah pretended to be worried for a while. "Do you think, they will be you.. know.. happy little elves.. running around the shop or you know those little midgets who frown every time you give them work,?"Sarah asked,making a concerned face. "Cause I like happy little house Eleves"She said nodding.

Clifford gave a mock gasp. “Little midgets who frown? I beg your pardon Sarah? How dare you insult my little friends like that! House-elves are little cuties! They never frown! Maybe they just frown at you cause you look scary.”

Folding his arms across his chest he moved to the next shelf. “Oooooooooh, sweeties!” He exclaimed, like he had only just realised where he was.

Jess wanted something sweet,so she went to Honeydukes to buy some Chocolate frogs and candies.

"Cuties??"Sarah blinked. "You are.. usingg that word for them..." and she started laughing, it was hilarious. "Heyyy.. I dont look Scaryy..in fact Our little House Elf, Mr. Pootts thinks am real good looking," Sarah said sticking her tongue out on him.

But, then she burst out laughing. "You know .. You are crazy aren't you Clifford?"

“House-elves have feeling too you know. Never forget that Sarah, how would you like it if you were called a short frowning midget. It would hurt your feeling wouldn’t it” He gave a firm nod. The house-elves made delicious food, it was his duty to stick up for them.

He burst out laughing when Sarah said her house-elf said she was good looking and had to cling onto the shelf to keep balance. “Oh my …. That’s great… good one Sarah.” He said, between laughs. “Is Mr. Poots blind?”

Sarah looked around for more candies when Clifford started his little speech. "I never said I am against them, they just look good when they Happy..and not frowning," Sarah said shrugging. "They do make good food you know, I respect them.. but they don't look very good frowning,"Sarah said in a as a matter of fact tone.

Sarah gasped in mock horror when Clifford said Mr Poots was blind and turned around to face him. "Great Friend you are Clifford,"She said frowning. "You just said never insulta house Elf, ad Mr. Poots is not blind.. and he should get those "Bestest Cuties of the year" House Elf award too," Sarah said making frowning face.

They make good food? Now that was understatement of the century. Simply deliciously, heavenly, food was more fitting, but he didn’t want to start a heated debate. He would win easily anyway. So what was the point?

His laughter continued at Sarah’s words. “You’re such a silly billy. I would never insult a house-elf. You on the other hand!” He said, pointing at Sarah. “I don’t mind insulting you… which, in case you hadn’t noticed, was what I was doing. Insulting you, I mean.” He smirked. “I’m sure Mr. Poots is very cute. Cuter than his Master Sarah.” He teased.

Sarah blinked for a moment before realizing what he saying. Ohhhhh. She quickly lightly punched him on the arm. "Again, and I thought you were a good friend,"Sarah said pouting a bit ad making a sad face. "I think I would prefer Mr. Poots compliments more than you now,"Sarah said, sighing, dramatically. "Since you think I am scary looking,"

"Hey, you two," Excelsior walked into Honeydukes craving some more chocolate frogs only to find Clifford and Sarah there. Then he remembered the last time he had seen Sarah, he had spoken too soon. Should he turn and just leave her alone, knowing their last meeting? He wasn't sure what to say. He couldn't tell her that Camira had overheard their conversation, that she now knew she meant nothing to him, that it was only Sarah he cared about. He didn't know if she would ever speak to him again or not. He only stood there, not knowing what to say. If nothing happened he would leave and not come back. He was helpless.

Sarah was laughing, but it soon faded away as she saw you just came in. She just looked at Excelsior for a moment. It was still awkward. She hadn't really thought about anything.

She turned around to Clifford. "I guess I will see you soon, Clifford, I should be going now,"She said to him, smiling, she smiled at him because he really had made her laugh and put her in a better mood.

She turned to look at Excelsior, and smiled faintly. "I will.. see you.. too, "She said in a low voice, she wasn't mad at him, that much she knew now, but she wasn't ready to take, and she walked out the shop.

Excelsior turned and walked away, overcome with sorrow. It had been a stupid idea to try and help Camira, the stupidest thing he had ever done. Now he had lost Sarah, who he really cared about, forever.

Nothing seemed to matter anymore.

Clifford rubbed his arm after receiving a punch. He had to admit, he probably deserved so he wasn’t going to complain. "Okay.... I'll see you later, Sarah," He frowned. Weird.. she was okay a minute ago, now she seemed upset.

He jumped and spun around when he heard another voice close-by. What was with people creeping up these days? “Oh hey, Ex.” Clifford said, putting a hand to his chest and exhaling. “You scared me there mate.” He noticed Excelsior looked a little troubled too. Funny, she hadn’t mentioned anything about Excelsior being in trouble. Then again, she hadn’t mentioned Excelsior at all! Strange. "Is everything okay?" He asked, feeling stupid.

Josh laughed at his drunk impression of the sorting hat."I dont know. I think they might of made a mistake with me. I love this house though." he added. he couldnt see himself in any other house besides this one. Everyone told him he was to nice to be a slytherin. His mother was a ravenclaw and he wouldnt mind being in that house, But to be in that house he would actually have to work hard. And well he knew that would never happen unless he was dedicated to something. Or whatever he wanted. " Yeap Tues is my hero." he said with a smile.

I know we need to win some games to help with our points. I cant believe we are being beat up by whiny gryffidors. It disgusts me." he laughed with his friend as he said their must be a spell to get into the girls dormitory." Yeah wouldnt that be nice. If you find one be sure to tell me." he joked with his friend as he chuckled once more.

He made a face," Man.... Poor Tues." he said knowing she must of felt bad. " He didnt have to be that way. If he knew her he would know. If it was me i would of mouthed something off. Then i would be in detention again." he said chuckling a little.' But thats just me." he said then listening to his friend. He moved to sit down next to him and grabbed a drink for himself as well." Dont worry about it. I'll talk to her if you want. I mean if you want to then i'll let you know your looking for her. Either way i'll make sure she is okay with the class. Someone has to learn something." he joked. " so How are you my friend? Any more love adventures?" he asked with a smirk.

Rapunzel narrowed her eyes and wondered what in Merlin's Beard was going on. She opened her mouth and was about to say something when she realized that Claudian had said something to her. "We'll dicuss this someplace else," Rapunzel said in a low, soft voice so that only Jayden could hear. Then she turned to Claudian and was cheered up immensely by his mentioning of chocolate.

"Oh wonderful! Chocolate!" Rapunzel beamed and scooped up two bars of the world's best chocolate. "Thank you ever so much, Mr. Slughorn!" She was about to add something clever....but then someone she didn't know had entered the shop.

And apparently, his name was Josh. Hmm........

Rapunzel raised one eyebrow and shot a glance at Jayden before nodding towards Josh. She would have shaken his hand, but one hand held two chocolate bars and the other was still clutching half-melted sugar quills.

"Nice to meet you, Josh," Rapunzel smiled stiffly, then realized that Claudian had also introduced Diabolica as Diabolica Black. 'Why?!' she thought with a most puzzled expression clouding her face. 'So Claudian and Diabolica are in on something...like spies...or Death Eaters...' Rapunzel crinkled her nose and tried to put the puzzle pieces together...but she was a blonde, after all...and thus she just couldn't figure it out.

One of these days, she was going to somehow discover the password to the Slytherin Common Room....or else figure out where all these eccentric kids came up with their odd plots and why they changed their last names. There had to be a connection somewhere....maybe it was the crystallized pineapple?

"How is that pineapple, Claudian? Delicious, eh? Would you recommend it?" Rapunzel blurted out suddenly. Then she blushed as she realized how out of the blue that must sound. "I'm just...trying to sample some of the delicious local candy....what would you recommend?" Rapunzel almost winced as she realized afterwards how terrible that sounded...so she turned to the other boy. "Or you, Josh, what type of candy do you prefer?"

She blinked and clutched her sugar quills a little tighter.

"Yes. It's pretty good." He said raising an eyebrow at Rapunzel's obvious...was it...nervousness??? Whatever for? Josh? But she was seeing Ryan Lee. And Josh was taken besides? Or perhaps it was merely for the fact of him being a Slytherin...could they have made her nervous? But she was a Black. He cleared his face of any expressions that might allude to his suspicion and watched.



Slughorn twitched at the memory of the last Quidditch game. "Yea. I think I cried for a week or so after. Why didn't you try out...or did you? I don't remember seeing you, but you've got the right build for it. Young Merlin in a Flaming Zepplin! If I can make the team, I know you could!"

"It's alright. If I don't see her I'll probably just send her an owl or something...that is, if you're not jealous." He jokingly said. In his mind no girl in her right mind would go for him. Perhaps, this was the reason he found him self most attracted to the less conventional of the gender. He gave a subtle nod at Josh's help to make sure Tuesday was alright with her class. "Yes, it is a school afterall."
He almost choked at the mention of 'Love Adventures'. He had nothing. Time to make something up let Moonson will be disapointed. "Well, you know me. I've got one in every classroom and corridor. Doris wants to 'see other people', and Agatha wishes we had more time to talk." He almost couldn't keep a straight face as he sighed and shook his head at the pitiful truth of the matter of his 'Love Adventures'. "If we're going to talk about love, Moonson, I'm going to need a drink."




Claudian returned a polite nod towards Clifford. He'd never had too many words with the boy, but he knew him to play Quidditch well, and was grateful to have him on the team. His expression ebbed into one of concern to see Excelsior looking not-well as he walked away, but he didn't think it would be his place to say anything at the time. He barely knew Black or Carden.

Theresa went to Honeydukes,and to her surprise Jess was there.She greeted her friend happily."Hi!How are you?Is everything ok?"

Sam walked into HoneyDukes and grabbed some chocolate frogs and Jellybeans. Walking around he looked at the other things that were in the store.

"oh,hi Theresa!"Jess said friendly."I'm ok,thanks.I was wondering what happened,I haven't seen you for a very long time."she added.

"Well,I didn't have a very happy term.You see,I've been ill most of it,but I hope my next years will be better.I had to stay home for about one month and a half and it was terrible!"Theresa replied.

"I'm so sorry for you,but I'm sure everything will be fine now.Have you thought where to go for the holidays?"Jess changed the subject in order to cheer her up.
