Jacques looked at the girl and her facial expressions closely. She seem genuinely worried about him. That was a good signed since he hadn't really seen that many people actually care about someones wellbeing.

"You don't have to apologize." The French boy said to her, his accent was a little thick but it was very smooth. The third year snake looked around at the candy and then back to the girl as she introduced herself. "I'm Jacques Salvatore." He gave her a charming smile. "It's lovely to meet you, Azura." He said gently taking her hand in his and kissing the top of it.

Azura relaxed ever so slightly as the boy told her that she didn't have to apologize in a rather dreamy accent! She had never been to France before and she really wanted to go sometime! Seeing the Eiffel Tower was one of her dreams. "All right, I'm just glad you are okay." She said with a warm smile, "How about some candy on me?" She offered as she smiled over at him..

Jacques, that was a nice name.

"It's nice to meet you as well Jacques." She said softly before her face heated up ever so slightly as he took her hand and kissed it! Oh my.. That had never happened to her before! Was that a french thing?

She flustered ever so slightly as she smiled at him.. "So, what were you looking at here?" She asked..

Before groaning inwardly..

Candy.. Duhhhh Azura..

"I'm glad I'm okay too." Jacques chuckled. "You don't have to buy me candy." He gave her a warm smiled. "I can buy you some candy though." He nodded, still smiling. "It's lovely too meet you as well." He was pretty sure that he had just said that but oh well, no harm in repeating himself. The Slytherin boy looked at her expression when he kissed her hand. He smiled at her.

What was he here for? "Candy...I think." The Frenchie shrugged. "This is the first time I've ever been here before." He nodded.

Azura smiled a little as he said she didn't have to buy him anything. "All right, if you are sure?" She shouldn't be making a habit of buying people things when she ran into them, otherwise she would be broke before she knew it!

"Ohh, buy me some? Well.. Uhhh... you don't have too.. but if you want?" She had never really had anyone offer to buy her something.. it was rather nice actually!

She bit her lip as he kissed her hand.. That.. was ever so new.. and yet.. nice?

Duh.. he was here for Candy.. Duhhhhhhhh..

Some Ravvie you are Az.. some.. cute boy kisses your hand and there goes all semblance of rational thought. She sighed inwardly..

"Me too actually, but I heard they had a wide selection of sugar quills.. so here I am." She said with a smile. [/color]

Jacques looked at her and nodded. His eyes fell back on the candy but as she spoke they went back to the girl. "I'm perfectly fine, you don't have to worry about that." He reassured her.

"Hasn't anyone ever bough you candy? I mean outside of your parents?" He asked her. He's had people buy him candy. Some friends and very distant cousins. He didn't consider distant cousins as family. "I'm not going to change my mind about buying you candy." The third year gave her a smile.

Jacques blue eyes look around at the shelves more but then they landed back on Azura.

"They do? I'm pretty sure I've never tried sugar quills before." As much as Jacques loves candy he wouldn't really

Azura slowly shook her head at his question, "No actually, I mean a friend of mine said he would buy some for me for my birthday, but he never actually did." So that didn't count right? Speaking of, She hadn't seen Austin for awhile.. She hoped he was okay!

"All right." She agreed slightly shyly, If a cute boy who had kissed her hand wanted to buy her candy.. she wouldn't argue with him! Apparently not all boys thought she was horrible! "Thank you." She said as she looked up at him with her bright purple eyes and a warm smile..

She pushed some of her hair behind her ear as she nodded. "They do! And you should totally try them, they are some of my favorite candies, I like the watermelon ones." She said with another smile up at him..

Her day was most certainly looking up!

What? Why would a best friend do that? "Wait so let me get this straight. Your best friend didn't get you anything for your birthday?" Jacques asked her. "When was your birthday?" Did this guy forget her birthday or did he just not want to buy her anything? The French boy had a lot of questions right now.

The third year snake was very happy that Azura didn't argue with him on this. He would normally get some sort of a fuss about it from other people but this was a really nice change to be honest. "You don't have to thank me."

"My favorites at the moment are chocolate frogs but I can always try some sugar quills instead." Jac nodded and thought about trying out something new for once. He was curious as to how this was going to turn out.

Azura slowly shook her head.. Jasper was so busy he had forgotten her birthday, even though she had remembered his! 'No, he's been so busy this year, I guess he just forgot." She said softly as she twisted her hands together.. Her absent best friend had been causing a lot of heartache for her lately. "My Birthday was December 22nd." She said with a nod.. Yup.. she was 12! A bit old for a first year.. but still.

"You are buying me something.. so of course I have to thank you." Azura was polite if nothing else.. and it wasn't often and that a handsome older boy wanted to buy her.. well anything! So of course she had to say thank you!

"Well Chocolate frogs are super good as well.. I like them too." She said with a nod, especially after the train ride here.

The first place Kevin wanted to visit in Hogsmeade was the candy shop of course. As a home schooled student one might think he could go to diagon alley each day to buy candy but sadly that wasn't true. Not to mention that his parents weren't big fans of candy so there were none in their house.

He pushed the door open and was immediately greeted by the sweet smell of hundreds of different kind of candies. This was heaven, he had missed this so much. Still, he was sixteen so he wasn't going to bounce around the room. Instead, he grabbed one of the baskets at the entrance of the shop and began to walk to the specialty candy section.

I waaaaaaaaaant candyyyyyy~

The first shop that Ava would always visit first on Hogsmeade weekend was obviously THE Honeydukes. It's such a good place to find some great sweets especially when she ran out of her supplies. She needed to stock up her chocolate frog, oh and sugar quills, some fudge, bubble gum... Hopefully she had enough money to get all of them. She kinda needed so many sweets just for herself lately... Losing her duel makes her feel depressed and the only thing that could cheer her up was the sweets, and also some baked goods.

Her smile lit up as she entered the candy shop. Look at the colorful sweets, how pretty and delicious they are, even just looking at them already made her smiled, a little. Yes, she's still pretty bummed up with her losing. The first thing that she needed to buy is obviously the chocolate frog. Ava grabbed one frog and unwrapped it because she really wanted to eat it now! Don't worry, she would pay for it.

Henry might not have been the candy fiend he once was now that he was thirteen and much more mature, but he still liked to indulge in sweets. Who didn't at least once in a while? And so, Honeyduke's was always on his to-do list when it was a Hogsmeade weekend.

He had a handful of sickles just burning a hole in his pocket, so he thought he might go inside and buy a few things. Some of his favorites, of course, but he also wanted to try something new just for the heck of it. One never knew when they might find a new favorite just from trying something new. After grabbing a few chocolate frogs, he headed over to the aisle marked "Oddities and Rarities" to see what he could find.

There weren't enough coins in her pocket to jingle, nor buy very much, but it didn't bother Sam too greatly. She was used to it by now, and couldn't justify picking a pocket just to get a bit more sugar. She'd spend the few knuts she had left in a bit, but for now, she was just enjoying the sights, sounds, and most importantly, the smells of being in Honeydukes. Her eyes scanned the colourful shelves, absorbing as much of it as she could.

The plan today was to identify what she might like to ask her Pa to get her for her birthday. An old favourite, or something new? She was pretty sure her bestie would just say 'all of it', and be done with it, but that wasn't how it worked, at least not for Sam.

Hands in her pockets, she followed an older boy into a section she hadn't entered before. "Oddities and Rarities"? What was that supposed to mean? Were these just an acquired taste, or super expensive, or just one-offs?

"Yeh tried any of dese?" she asked the boy, a confused look still on her face. "I ain't been in this aisle before, yeh see."

Acid pops. Henry thought the sound of that seemed kind of interesting and he picked up one of the sweets marked with that label to inspect it further. He had only read far enough to the words "burns a hole in your tongue," when he heard a voice behind him that made him turn. The girl appeared to be about his age, but he wasn't sure if he had seen her around at school.

"No, I haven't," he answered with a shake of his head. "It's my first down in this section too... I usually stick with the chocolate frogs and drooble's gum. I just thought it might be interesting to see what might be down here..." He held up the acid pop he had found. "Says it'll burn a hole in your tongue... You think that's true?" Not sure why anyone would seriously want that if it actually did that, unless for the sheer thrill of it. Not that he would find it particularly thrilling. At least not for his own tongue.

"Oh," Sam replied, a hint of disappointment in her voice. She was hoping for a recommendation or two; she didn't have the funds to just experiment. "Dat's why I'm 'ere teh, 'cept choc'lit 'n' sugar quills are us'ally more mah fing. Yeh collect the cards?" she asked, nodding at the boxes of chocolate frogs in his arms.

Hang on, what? Burn a HOLE in your tongue? Sam pulled a face at the pop, running her tongue lightly over her teeth. "No idea. Not sure I wanna try it dough. Not wiffout knowing if it's painful or permanent."

It took Henry a great deal of concentration to understand the girl's words with her accent quite a bit stronger than his own. But he got the gist of it and he nodded enthusiastically when she asked about the cards. "I have loads of them, almost a complete set." He had so many doubles on account of how many chocolate frogs he had eaten in his lifetime, but through trading he was able to acquire some of his missing ones too. "Do you collect them too?" Maybe he could have another trading buddy.

Henry could totally understand the look the girl made at his description of the candy. It was something of an unnerving idea... but somewhat intriguing all the same. "Yeah, I'm not sure either. I wouldn't mind seeing it, but I don't think I'd want to test it out without knowing." He glanced down at the wrapper to see if it gave him any clues. "Maybe someone around has tried it... or the shopkeeper might know.."

The sixteen year old placed a package of bertie botts in his basket before looking around and finding the chocolate frogs on the other side. He had an impressive card collection back at home from the years he had eaten the chocolate frogs but he still missed Heatcote Barbary , a guitarist of the back then popular band, the weird sisters. And some others but it was that one he wanted really badly.

As he stood in front of the shelf, trying to figure out which one had the card as if he could do that ha when he saw a young girl, couldn't be older than twelve, next to him. He watched as she picked up one of the chocolate frogs and began to unwrap it. Was she going to eat it? He grinned but didn't say anything. He wasn't the shopkeeper and he wasn't a snitch either. In fact, the ex-Gryffindor moved a little closer to say "If you get Heatcote, can i have it?"

An almost complete set? Sam couldn't help but gasp. She didn't know how many cards that must be, but it was a lot - well into the hundreds. Occasionally she got a discarded card or escapee frog, but she'd never seen that many, not alone collected them. "I got a few yeah," she replied quietly. "Nuffing all that special though."

She turned her attention back to the acid pop. "I've nevver seen anyone wiff an 'ole in their tongue, teh be fair. But I fink I'd ravver try sumfink else first..." He could go find the shopkeeper if he wanted to check though.

Maybe she should've paid first before unwrapped the chocolate frog and eat them. Well, this was just one and she would tell the shopkeeper when she paid all of her purchase. Ava just wanted to eat them so badly to cure her... bad feelings.

Apparently there was someone watching her. He didn't look like a Hogwarts student because she hadn't seen him around. Maybe he was the alumni? But he didn't look that older, maybe just around seventeen or eighteen-ish. Ava couldn't guess someone's age correctly, okay? So he was a bad guy who liked to kidnap little kids or threaten some people to ask some money? Nah, she didn't think so. "Huh?" She blinked when the older kid spoke to her. Oooooh, he just wanted the chocolate frog card. Okay, she didn't mind if he wanted it. Ava didn't collect them, it's more her twin brother's stuff.

She looked at the card. Bingo, it was Heatcote Barbary. "Here you go." She said to that guy and handed the card.

As Kevin waited for the girl to grab the card inside the package and show it to him, he placed two chocolate frog packages in his own basket. He wanted to buy more but these things were pretty expensive for someone who relied on his parents money. And his parents had already warned him not to spend so much.

He was about to grab a handful of ice mice behind him when he heard the girl say 'here you go'. He rolled his eyes. Hadn't he told her he wanted the card ONLY if it was Heatcote? There was no way she had his card, he had been looking for that for ages! But as he looked at the card she held up to him he blinked.

It.....WAS....him. He wanted to jump in excitment now that his weird sisters card collection was complete but he was too cool to actually do that. Instead, he took the card and placed it in his pocket. "You're cool, kid" he grinned which was his way of saying thanks. "Do you go to that school?" he asked, his voice sounded a bit icy as he mentioned Hogwarts.

Henry tilted his head at the gasp. Did that mean she was impressed with his vast chocolate frog trading card collection? But he didn't have a complete set. Now that would have been impressive. Then a thought came over him like a sudden realization. He had been bragging again, hadn't he? His father always cautioned him against that and he felt a little bad about it, especially if it made another person feel bad. "I have plenty of extras if you ever want them to build up your collection," he said cheerfully, trying to cover his earlier words. "Or if you just want to trade," he added with a shrug.But he wouldn't mind giving away some extras.

Carefully considering the girl's words, Henry nodded. "I haven't either, which leads me to think that it's nothing permanent." But he rather agreed with her, even if he did keep a hold on the acid pop. It might come in handy at a later time. "Sure! Do you see anything else that looks good?" He wasn't sure he would find good in this section rather than interesting, but he moved towards the cockroach clusters anyway and picked one up to examine it. Hmm.

Maybe she was the only one who didn't make a big fuss about the cards. Ava had just no interests with them, unlike her twin brother who was a collector of chocolate frog cards and he had like.... thousands of them, being a collector since they were.. maybe around five years old. She just loved eating them because it was so rich and delicious. But seriously, what's the big deal of collecting them? They are just a bunch of... cards. No, she didn't say that they were stupid... They were just overrated.

This older guy didn't show his excitement when the young lioness handed him the card. Well, maybe he was just being cool... that's fine. "You're welcome." She said to him, as the respond of his gratitude. He didn't really say thank you to her but 'you're cool' words was such a substitute of 'thank you.' Ava didn't really expected him to say 'thank you' too though, she was just trying to be polite.

She's going to that school? "Oh, you mean Hogwarts?" She asked him back. "Yes, I do." Ava gave the guy a slight nod. She currently wasn't wearing the Gryffindor scarf or the beanie, just the black snapback and plain grey hoodie so maybe that's why he was asking. Or maybe her petite posture didn't look like she was a Hogwarts student... Sigh, again with the shortness. "Do you?" Ava asked him back.

She bit her lip as he looked at her like that. Had she said something wrong? "I wouldn't say no," she replied sheepishly. "I can't get 'em very often, 'n' I like reading 'em. I just fought it's really cool teh 'av a nearly full set, s'all." She hadn't thought he'd been bragging at all; she was just super impressed. "D'ya know 'ow many cards is in a full set? I ain't ever seen one."

He agreed with her logic? Well, that was cool, even kind of reassuring. "There's somefink wiff spidehs on 'ere," she replied, picking up the box to try and read it properly. She'd gotten a lot better since Mr. Kitridge had been helping her, but her reading still wasn't perfect. "Ah, dere we go. Mister Spindle's Lick-O-Rish spidehs. D'ya fink they scuttle like real spidehs? Kinda looks like it on the box."

After hanging out with some friends, Elsa said her goodbyes and wandered alone into the Honeydukes Candy Shop to treat herself to some Licorice Wands and maybe some Peppermint Humbugs.

The store was packed with kids from Hogwarts. Some faces familiar, other not so much, but she didn't mind being alone for a moment. After all, no one else needed to suffer in line for her sugary obsession did they? As she waited in line for her turn her mind wondered back to the Three Broomsticks. Who was that purple eyed boy? She hadn't seen him around, but that wasn't new, Hogwarts was, after all, a gigantic castle full of hidden passageways and whatnot.

*sigh*

She would have to ask about him later to Az. Just out of curiosity, of course... right?

Wes had wandered into Honeydukes with his Mom and while she moved towards the front to pick out some things for his Dad and her sister, He moved towards the back where most of the candy was..

As he walked back though, he noticed a familiar face in line.. Wasn't that the girl from The Three Broomsticks?

He tilted his head a little to look at her for a moment.. before he moved up to say Hi.. "Uh.. Hey, I'm Wes.. Didn't I see you in the Three Broomsticks a few hours ago?" He asked her curiously.

Elsa was eyeing the delicious candy on display when she felt a presence next to her. Have you ever had that feeling, when you're going down the stairs and you miss one step and all your insides drop to the floor? That's what she felt when she looked over the person next to her and saw that boy from earlier. Merlin!

Slightly flustered she opened her mouth and closed it, like a fish out of water, before answering "Oh, yes, that's me I guess" she fumbled with her words. First, Merlin he was tall. Or at least taller than her, so she had to stretch her neck backwards to look him in the face. Which wasn't a smart move, because he had very...handsome features. She blinked a couple of times and had to mentally shake herself not to stare.

"Nice to meet you Wes, I'm Elsa" she finally got out with a small smile while putting a stray hair behind her ear. Way to start a conversation Elsa.. "You're Azura's..brother?" she tried guessing.

What was wrong with her? Why was she acting up like that. He was just a boy. She had boy friends, colleagues, she talked and studied with boys all the time. Was was this one in particular getting on her nerves? Maybe because he's cute... her brain offered. This sort of reaction on her was new, Elsa didn't usually find boys an object of interest, other than the ones on her posters that is.
