Hearing an older voice Echo looked over, it was Professor Stewart! Echo always really liked this professor. "Hi Professor Stewart!" she said while looking at the owls. "sending some post?" well she hoped because why else would she be here? Turning her bag to her front she fished in it until she found her letter. "all i have to do is find an owl, for this very important letter!" she laughed! this letter would save her the rest of the year. |
SPOILER!!: Echo! <333 The mini owls were friendly too! They hooted and looked at Kay with those gorgeous brown eyes. She was quite sure she would melt any second now. Where could she get one of these owls? Would the person in charge of the Post Office let her buy one? Question whirled through her mind. That is, until the voice of one Echo Duchaness grabbed her attention. "Hello, Ms Duchaness! Not today. I heard all the hooting from outside and thought that I'd drop by.'' She was glad that she did. "I wish I could help you there but I haven't the slightest idea which is best. Perhaps we should look at the colour codes to get some insight. How fast do you want your letter to arrive at its destination?'' |

"quite fast please professor, or how else will my family know what scarfs and sweaters and new blankets i want from home!" there she said it, all this letter contained was fashion and decorations for her Slytherin dorm room. plus it was getting chilly for her so sweaters "which ones are the fastest?" Professor Stewart seemed to know more about this color code thing than she did, so why not ask for some more help. |
SPOILER!!: Echo! <333 "They are! I wish I could get one but now I don't think the owner would allow me to buy one.'' Which was a fairly disappointing thought to her. Who knew, maybe when she visited Diagon Alley again, she would stop by the Eeyelop's Owl Emporium to see if they stocked any. Kay grinned. "I see. Then yes, we must get this letter to your home quickly.'' She surveyed the owls and their colour codes. "The ones that are fastest are the most expensive it seems. So all we have to do is to look... according to the prices, these are the fastest.'' Kay indicated to the group of owls watching them with interest. "Now we just coax one down.'' Was it just her or did a few of them look extra fierce? |

Laughing with her Professor she smiled. Happy that she didnt give her a look for sending a letter home for fashion and decor. "as soon as possible, its starting to get way to cold for her." Echo always felt that she needed to bundle up in the dungeons, she was always layering clothes. She loved the sun and they didnt get much of it underground. "price is not a problem Professor" the Duchannes were very wealthy. "ohh yes come on down little owls.. i got a very important letter for you" she thought that it might help, to say it was important. Maybe they would come down. |
SPOILER!!: Echo! <3 Kay trailed after Echo, her blue eyes still observing the many owls. It reminded her of the Owlery at Hogwarts though she wondered which house more- the Post Office or Hogwarts. She laughed again. "We'll just have to thaw you out should you become an icicle, Ms Duchaness,'' the woman stated lightly, trying to crack a joke. No pressure to laugh, Echo. It seemed that the Duchanesses were in the rich side but Kay did not question this. That was Echo's business. "Excellent! Do you have any treats? Perhaps that would help to get one down.'' But then again, who usually walked around with owl treats in their pockets? |
Quote:
"errrm, no to the treats but im pretty sure i saw a station near the entrance that had something that looked like treats?" she wasnt one hundred percent sure but she was going to go look. "i'll go run and check" Running to the station she was right, there were a few different treats, one were mice and she couldnt look at them, she had a pet mouse and she was on the verge of tears. "poor little mice" she thought. Echo grabbed a generic treat and went back to Professor Stewart. "i got some treats!, i wished that they didnt have mice for treats too" she said while holding out the treat for one of the expensive owls. "heres a lovely treat Owl's" come get it and take my letter. |
