Welcome to the Hog’s Head, a dark and somewhat dingy place, but at least the food is good. The pub is owned and run by Samuel Huxley. If you want to order a drink or some food, you must do so at the front counter. If you’re of age or older, you may sit up at the bar, but anyone under 17 must find a seat at one of the old wooden tables around the restaurant.
All Hogwarts and SS rules apply at all times. Please do not roleplay for the Shopkeeper (Samuel Huxley).
So they do actually let the hoggies kids out for good behavior. Well he was going it have to right to his buddies and tell them this. And a about the chicks here. Haha they were going to be jealous that he was here.
He had checked out a place call the three broomcakes? Yeah that place was to crowded for him to deal with. So he was going to pass on that. Then he peeked into the windows of puddlefoots or something like that. Pink and flowers and romance. Again no. He seen way too much lip action going on in there.
But the this was the gem here The Hogs Head. The name even sounded cool. He pushed the door open and went inside. The place was empty completely. When shopkeeper person was there behind the bar he guessed. So he took a seat at a table. This was nice. Quiet but that was fine with him.

Haddie entered the dark, dingy bar and grinned. It was even better than she expected. The perfect amount of creepy. "See?" she told her friends. "Told you this place would be amazing!" And the food smelled amazing too.
Haddie took out her camera and snapped a photo. She'd been on a photography bender ever since returning from the break, wanting to make sure she captured everything she could to keep the memories forever. Just in case. She spun around and snapped another photo of her two best friend's reactions and chuckled to herself.
Once the were seated at a table, Haddie leaned back in her seat and grinned. "So who's gonna order for all of us?"
The Hog's Head was the only place that Kitty's mom had forbid her to visit, but Kitty's curiosity drove her to disobey that order. It wasn't as if the Hag was going to be here, right? There were wizards and witches all around to make certain nothing bad happened to her.
Kitty blinked to clear the pink spots in front of her eyes that she got from looking at the snow so long and then stepping into the darkened bar. It took awhile for her eyes to adjust to the darkness of the Hog's Head, but in a few moments her vision returned. "Cool!" So this was what a bar looked like. Kitty took out her camera snapped a picture.
~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes.
The moment she stepped into the Hog's Head, she was reminded of Kitty because of the darkness. The dingy little place offered a limited amout of light and Rachel had to wait for her eyes to adjust to it properly. She didn't get why Haddie and Mel wanted to visit this place. They could have easily visited one of the cheerier looking places.
She blinked rapidly as her eyes were assaulted by the flashing of the camera. "I'm sure that was the ugliest picture I've ever gotten snapped,'' she said. Her face may have been in an expression of utmost surprise.
Rachel followed the other girls to a table. "First we should decide what we want then I can go ahead to order.'' With a smile, she studied the menu. "There are no cupcakes here,'' she remarked in disappointment. She looked up at Haddie and Mel. "Are you girls sure it's safe to order food from here?'' The pub did not exactly radiate that welcoming, warm atmosphere. It was almost as if the place was shady.

Melbourne was so excited to be out on the town with Haddie and Rachel. “I’m glad we can wear muggle clothes in town…I’m not a fan of robes” she admitted with a shrug of her shoulder. “Yes you did – how did you find out about it Haddie?” She asked quizzically and grinned at the photograph Haddie had taken.
“We should take more you know…silly photos” Mel grinned at the girls. “I want to get a hot butterbeer” Mel grinned, “or a hot chocolate…” she grinned and looked up at the menus. “Oh gosh I don’t know about the food,” she muttered and grinned over at the girls. “We could always just get their chocolate eclairs those are usually quite safe…or pie with ice cream” she grinned at the idea.
“Some of the food sounds disgusting…flobberworm fritters?” She asked and scrunched up her nose….looking at the girls she grinned. “I…uh…didn’t mean to hear in class the other day you guys uh…” she paused and leaned closer whispering “talking about Tenacius?” She blushed a bit and then added quickly, “I agree. By the way.” Yep. That had to be said.

Haddie grinned at Rachel's grumpiness about the picture. "You love me." Yep, it was good to have Rachel back. "Oh don't worry Mel, we'll have plenty of silly photos too. I just want to make sure I have all the memories in little gif like pictures." She put her camera away for the moment. "I have my ways." And that's all she was gonna say about how she found out about this place. Yep. Better of an air of mystery than an air of boredom. "What is with the robes anyway? They're so strange. And impractical."
Kicking up her heels on the empty chair at the table, Haddie scanned the menu. "Okay, okay, so the menu's a little limited, but come on. The food smells amazing, so it has to be good! Live dangerously, Rach. Live. Dangerously." Because living safely was boring. Like Ailsa. Haddie's cousin spent all her free time holed up in the tower somewhere, reading. Which is great and all, but she's really missed the excitement this year. What's the point if all you're gonna do with your life is read about what others did with their life? Haddie sighed a little. Ailsa might be a lost cause, partially because she had enough of the Denaker stubbornness, but Rachel wasn't. "Right, Mel?"Back me up lioness."I will have the mystery meat lasanga and hot butterbeer." Because Mel was right, hot butterbeer sounded great.
Haddie fetched a couple of galleons out of her bag and passed them to Rachel. That should be enough to cover her food. More than enough pro-- Haddie's head snapped up at the mention of Tenacius. She noticed the slight blush on Mel's cheeks and despaired. She despaired more than she'd ever despaired in her life. All internally of course. Outwardly she just looked crestfallen. "Oh," she said. "So, you like him too then?" Probably before she did too, since they'd known each other all their life. The last thing Haddie wanted was to compete with a friend over a boy and if Mel liked him first, then... yep.

Mel just grinned as she watched how Haddie was acting with Rachel. It was precious really. Best friends were the best. “You know I’m glad that I have you guys too…I mean…my other best-girl-friend is like besties with my other bestie and I love her but…” she shrugged, “she’s basically Ace’s cousin and it makes things weird?” She admitted with a huff. “I like I cant talk about people being attractive with her because well…I don’t know if she’d get it unless it was like me talking about Carl or Elliot” she grinned a bit at the comment. But she'd obviously tell Sammy everything...y'know when she knew things.
“I have no idea its all…weird? I mean…I feel like I look like I’m straight out of the middle ages when I wear them” Mel huffed and rolled her eyes. “Its like the muggle and magical worlds decided to veer off fashion wise and the magical world decided ‘this era lets us…” she paused, “oh…its probably because we can hide our wands easily” she paused for a moment and grinned at the girls.
“I’m…leaning toward getting the club…without the tomatoes I’ve always hated them” she admitted with a huff. “I might even add cheese to it,” she admitted with a grin before raising an eyebrow at Haddie’s question. “well…of course he’s like my best friend ever and I’ve known him since I was like a toddler” she admitted with a laugh. “Actually I got lost and showed up at his house that’s how I met him I just walked through the woods and met him when we were like four years old” she admitted with a grin.
“but…wait you mean like him like him?” She asked and furrowed her brows and chewed her lip. “Maybe? But…honestly I’m kind of scared of his mum she’d likely skin anyone alive if they tried anything with him…Emmy’s great I love her but she’s scary” she admitted in a hushed whisper. “Honestly….” She paused, “I kind of like the slytherin boy Elliot…he’s nice…weird but nice and Carl’s nice too” she paused. “I just…Tenacius is um…he has nice hair? And is friendly and weird and like we watch movies together and that’s really it…” she paused, “oh we also like played lots of games as kids…one time he broke a table at his dad’s hotel when pretending he was Thor.” She laughed.
Pausing she added more definitively “he’s my best friend like ever, I guess…its just weird for me to admit that my best friend is attractive?”

This place was pretty interesting. Natalia opened the door and walked in looking around. Were kids even allowed in her? It didn't seem like they would be ,but since there was no sign saying not to so Natalia made her way to a table in the back.
Seeing another student at a table she didn't know whether to talk to them or not, but decided what the hell. Lately she had been meeting really nice people so maybe that was Hogwart for the most part. "So do you come in here often?" Maybe it wasn't as weird as she felt it was.

Haddie flicked her pouting bestie's ear. She really needed to lighten up a bit. "I'll get you a cupcake when we get back to the castle, okay?" Her eyes widened as she got an idea. "I'll get you another Canary custard cupcake! Oh, we can all have one and then Melon can be officially part of the Canary Chain gang!" Admittedly it was a two person gang thus far. But Haddie had a feeling it might be a 3 person gang with how well the three of them got along.
Okay, so maybe Haddie was just hoping that that would happen. Which may or may not have been part of the reason for inviting them both here. Her besties were amazing, and she didn't want to have to divide her time between them.
"Huh." Another Melon theory that holds up. Haddie shrugged. "I just always assumed that the wizarding community watched that old Mickey mouse wizard cartoon one too many times. You know, the one with the walking brooms?" She looked at Rachel for help. Rachel loved Disney. But there wasn't a princess in it, so maybe she didn't see it? Oh well.
"Has Tenacius asked about me? Nevermind," she shook her head. "I don't want to know." She kinda did though. And was his Mom really that scary? "I don't think I know Elliot or Carl..." There topic successfully diverted. Though the mental image of a mini-Tenacius running around pretending to be Thor was adorable.
~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes.
Rachel, who was wearing jeans also instead of a dress as usual because of the cold, nodded in agreement. "It's always so fun picking combinations of muggle clothing which is quite unlike our usual coloured robes.'' Since they would usually have to wear their blue or black robes at school practically everyday.
She giggled. "Silly photographs are the best.'' Not when you were caught of guard though. "You know very well that I do, Haddie.'' Yes, she loved her best friend a lot. "Living with a bit of caution isn't a bad thing either.'' She swatted at her best friend's hand but nodded with a smile. "Thank you. But how will you find the Canary cream cupcakes? We don't know who slipped them at the Table.'' Aside from her liking being a canary, the cupcake had been very delicious. "Perfect. Three canaries are better than two.''
The Eagle looked back down at the menu, wrinkling her nose. "Those fritters sound unappetising. Who would eat something like that?'' She kept her eyes focused on the menu, pretended to be extremely interested in it. Truthfully, she wasn't keen on the topic the conversation had come to. Talk of Tenacious meant David's name was bound to crop up soon and Rachel did not think she would be able to handle Haddie telling her that she had sided with David because she liked him.
She had to look up though, to collect the galleons. That and the surprise when she realised that Mel liked Tenacious too. Rachel looked quickly at Haddie, already feeling sad for her. But as she listened to Mel explain about Elliot and Carl and her friendship with Tenacious, she realised all hope was not lost for Haddie. Rachel was relieved. "I don't know Elliot well but Carl is very nice. He has a positive attitude and is a true Hufflepuff.'' Rachel was hoping that Mel would go for one of those boys if possible.
"I'll go place our orders,'' she told her friends and gracefully slid off her seat to skip towards the counter.

It was almost like he was going to make more of effort to make friends.
Maybe making an effort was going to be easier than he thought.
Laughing, "Actually, It's the first time I've been here. Still kind of new." Eyes the others around. "Wanna sit here?" Pushing out the chair across from him with his foot. He assumed that she was planning on sitting there since she had came over to him.

Mel grinned at the two of them and nodded “that sounds brilliant” she chuckled “I’d love to be a bird…actually, they seem so free spirited” she grinned and smirked slightly at the girls. “If I could, I’d want to be reincarnated as a bird or a dragon…probably a dragon” she admitted with a laugh.
Obviously being friends with both Rachel and Haddie seemed like it was going to be a giant adventure. “We should make rules sometime with this canary gang…like have as much fun as possible, adventures, and well…maybe lets try not to lose as many points as possible?” She shrugged her shoulder and grinned. “We could even make a list of people that we never ever ever ever ever talk about just so we don’t start fights and things” she nodded because that sounded like a smart idea. “Unless like we utterly have to talk about them…speaking of people Professor Draper has a pretty face but he’s so…grumpy” Mel huffed.
Why was he like Mr. Grouch man? She sighed “its too bad he has a really pretty face” Mel meant it too. “I know they sound so disgusting” Mel nodded and watched as Rachel went off to order, “I’ll grab the things when they’re ready Rachel” Mel nodded because really, she wanted to be helpful with this entire situation.
Mel grinned when Rachel said that Carl was nice. “Yeah, I’ve got to duel against him…I really don’t want to hurt him cause he is my friend” she nodded and grinned at the girls. It wasn’t really that she liked Tenacius though even if a part of her did he was just her first friend from Scotland and she’d grown up near him. “I…honestly I’ve been so busy with studying that I haven’t asked if he liked anyone…but I…can try and find out maybe?” She grinned. “I wont just go ‘do you like Hads?’ cause…that is waaaay too obvious” she had to be subtle about this. “I could make truth potion and slip it to him and see if he has a crush on anyone” she grinned and then tipped her head to the side in thought.
“I wonder if we could make a combination potion…truth and babbling?” That would be amazing wouldn’t it? The babbling truth? Such a great way to find things out. “Okay. I’ll try and find something out.” Mel nodded definitively…”after the flea thing” she added with a nod and waited for Rach to return.

"Oh you are new to Hogwarts as well?" Her accent giving her newness away. There seemed to be many new students or maybe this was normal, but Nat just couldn't help but notice. "Where were you before this?" Asking curiously as she took a seat. She knew what she wanted at the bar, but she knew ordering it wasn't going to happen, so maybe she'd go with something else.
"Thanks for offering the seat. I've never been to Hogsmeade and this place looking interesting." Possibly more quiet then the rest of the place. "Any idea what might be good here?" She assumed not if he hadn't been around long, but it wouldn't hurt to ask.
Haddie simply shrugged. "Trust me. I'll find out who made them and we'll get one for the three of us. Or better yet, get that person to teach one of you to make them." It would not be her. She was hopeless at cooking. Honestly, why did she have to be the useless one at cooking in the family, now that there were a bunch of awesome potions and things like Canary cupcake thingies to make... it wasn't fair.
Haddie almost groaned when Mel decided the group needed rules. Except that her idea of rules were great. She grinned and sat up a bit straighter. "I like those rules! Why can't you be in charge of making all the rules? For everything?" The list of off-limits people to mention was smart too. Hadley nodded in support and cast a sideways glance at Rachel. Everyone knew who would be first on that list. Any supportive expression she might have had faded with the mention of Draper. Her face contorted into an amusingly exaggerated look of sheer disgust. "Uck! No. How can you find that horrible gremlin attractive?" She shook her head at Melon, as if wondering what she might do with her misguided friend. "Drapey-pants goes on the list too. And seriously, both of you need better taste in guys."
The Californian girl hesitated very uncharacteristically at Mel's offer to find out if Tenacius liked her. Finally she shook her head No, her blonde hair waving back and forth as she did. "No...well, I don't know." She hesitated again. Part of her really did want to know, but part of her also really didn't want to know. And part of her, a nagging part really, seemed to feel that whatever the answer might be, she was so not ready for it. "Yeah, no," she confirmed. "But I love the babbling truth idea! Just not for this." Still they need to try and make it."I can be the official guinea pig for it, if we try and make it..." Haddie didn't sound thrilled about that, but Merlin knows she wasn't going to be any help brewing it.

Rachel was very interested to hear that Mel believed in reincarnation. She still had an open mind on the subject. "A bird or dragon would be fun. If I had to choose, it would be a merperson. Not like the ones that habit the Lake but like Ariel.'' She didn't necessarily had to have the red hair.
Now she was giggling. She just knew Haddie would want to track down the person who placed the cupcakes there. "I volunteer to bake them, Haddie!'' Baking was a passion of hers especially if it involved cookies. Rachel looked back at Mel. "That's the disadvantage of having a friend as an opponent. I have to duel Mason and I can't keep thinking that one of my spells will hurt her.'' It was quite a haunting thought.
The dark eyed Eagle giggled. "Professor Draper is good looking but I think Professor Ansley beats him.'' This was just her opinion. As the talk continued on crushes, she determinedly continued to avoid saying David's name and hope Haddie didn't bring up his name either. "There are separate potions for those,'' Rachel said, seizing the potion topic gratefully. "I reason that we would have to use ingredients from both the Babbling Beverage and Veritaserum to create a potion like this. We can ask Austin Moore as he's excellent at potions.''

This month was rubbish and it needed to go away. Natalia was trying to deal with things, but dealing was not one of her best qualities. When it was Hogsmeade weekend time Nat couldn't wait to get out of the castle and she headed down with the rest of the students. She found Lily and walked with her until they got to the Hogshead.
"Let's go in here"
Not even waiting for an answer she grabbed Lily's hand and headed in. Looking around she found a table and headed over. "Hopefully not many will show up in here."

Following Nat after she had been found by her, She had been looking for Marsha too, but had given up, she was probably with Vince anyway she would catch up with her later anyway. She headed into the Hogshead with her. Or rather her hand was grabbed and she was being taken in that direction. Lily couldn't help but to laugh. "Okay." was all she could get out.
"No one is here yet, so I think we are good." She took at seat. Would anyone else actually come in here? She doubted it. They were fine.

She was actually relieved it was quiet in here. She always worried about running into a certain snake, but truth be told he was probably off meeting Erik somewhere. She didn't let go of her hand as they sat down. She liked holding it and liked Lily near. They had been spending a lot of time together since the break up. At times it was confusing what was really going on, but they were friends and she was grateful for that.
"Want something to eat?" Not really knowing what this place even had or if it was edible, but she was a bit hungry and could go for something to drink.
Roman was in need of a drink. Need some time off away from school and his troubles for awhile. It was a good thing Hogs Head was one of the few places that he could go to for solace. He wondered if his mate was there too. If he was, then good...if not...he could always drink for two. He shoved his hands in his pockets and entered the facility, before walking right up to the bar. He waved to the shopkeeper, "One warm butterbeer, please. Thanks."

Chandler was inside... terrible that he was so predictable. Ugh. He wasn't unhappy... or terrible at all... he just wasn't perky. Heh.
Although, Chandler Merryvale was probably NEVER perky in his life.
And when he looked up from his corner and spotted his best friend... he smiled to himself. "Don't serve him, barkeep. Butterbeer gives him wicked gas. "

Roman turned to the oh so familiar voice of Chandler. He couldn't help but chuckle at that. "Ignore what he said. One more butterbeer for this crazy guy here too." He pointed with his thumb. He didn't really care how many knuts he had in his pockets, he simply dumped them on the countertop and leave them there for the shopkeeper to count instead. "Where have you been, mate? Hiding from me?" He smirked.
Butterbeer. Ack. He would prefer something else, but pesky laws and such. Whatevs. Chandler smiled at Roman and moved up beside him before bumping his shoulder into his friend.
Watching Roman dump his knuts and walk away. Chandler grimaced. Quickly digging in his pocket his slid a galleon toward the man and winked before wandering off with Roman.
"No, " he stated simply. He hadn't been hiding from Roman at all. Well... there was one time he had hid, but the other dude knew why. Heh.
"Lana and I broke up a while ago, " he explained. "Been messing around with some other girls since. Keeping busy, " he said with a smirk.
