New construction photos from the creation of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at its third location, Universal Studios Hollywood, were released this past week via MiceChat, and show the progress of Hogsmeade village and Hogwarts castle. Universal confirmed the attraction will open at the park in Los Angeles in 2016, though executive Tom Williams mentioned a few weeks back that it could be up and running for the public by spring 2016.

The images below show the steel work for the Hogwarts showroom (the large rectangle), as well as the arches and buildings for the shops at Hogsmeade, and the entry to the attraction. The first photo shows a model of what the rock formation of the cliffs under Hogwarts castle will look like (similar to that found in Orlando and Osaka already).
