Wizarding World of Harry Potter to open in May 2010
 

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando will open in May 2010! While we still don't have an official opening date from Universal representatives, the resort is offering a vacation package including hotel and dual-park admission, along with early admission to the Wizarding World area of the park - as long as travel is booked by May 28.

Woot! I'm going during Infinitus, so I'll know the park will be open! :) I just hope to goodness the Forbidden Journey ride is open. Thats like the main attraction for me, so it would fail majorly if they didn't finish it!

I'm sure you will still get to see it. Local word is the soft opening is going to be the end of March. The official open with the stars is slated for May like they have released, but there is a lot of buzz amongst locals and stuff.

The rehearsals for the entertainment people started this past weekend and they are in rehearsals till the middle of March. I keep hearing a little more and more about the park each day.

Dueling Dragons is set to change over to Dragon Challenge now and the Forbidden Journey is said to be cycling without people and the Universal employees are 'supposed' to be previewing it as early as the first week of March. Nothing is set in stone but that's what locals have been hearing so far.
