all right guys, harry cant die, the books are from his point of view the the book would end right when harry died, and that makes no sense at all. i mean seriously if voldy DID kill harry then te world would come to an end, i mean everyone might as well take out their wands and kill themselves if harry dies, i mean im not saying jk rowling wouldnt kill harry but, yeah that just wouldnt make any sense

I really hope that Harry will finally see his parents and Sirius again so maybe they are all behind the Veil. Then, if Voldemort and Harry both duel in the Department Of Mysteries, maybe Harry kills Voldemort and then he dies forever, but Harry trips on his robes or something and falls behind the Veil and then sees his parents and Sirius. (all of his friends are dead, so there would be no purpose in living anyways.) Then after seeing them all Sirius notices that Harry no longer had a scar on his forehead.

Well, I think that Harry and Voldemort will both die. Here's why: As all of you fans should know, JKR isn't keen on "fairy tale endings". She does what needs to be done, and there's no question about it. The entire series of the Harry Potter books is about the balance between good and evil, right and wrong...Harry symbolizes good and Voldemort evil. If Harry were to die, the evil would unbalance the good, and the entire magical world would perish; if Voldemort were to die, then the good would unbalance the evil, and the magical world would perish too, because there cannot be no evil. It just isn't possible-even in the wizarding world. There has to be a balance. So...since one of them must die, and I think that they should both die, I think that Harry will kill Voldemort, because in the prophecy he is the only one who can, and then someone else will kill Harry. Well, that's my opinion. Reply if you like. Also, you'll notice that the ending with both characters dying is similar to Hamlet (Shakespeare), and we all know that JKR bases her novels on other languages and literature. :sorcerer:

How foolish can people be??? What would be the point in having Harry die in book 7. If he was gonna die why not kill him in the 4th book when Voldemort came back?? There is one extremely obvious reason why Harry won't die:

Its a childrens book, there is always a happy ending.

Att: Hey560........Obviously, you are not a true HP fan.....if you were, then you would know that JKR does now write according to what people want. If that were so, then we would have about a GAZILLION different characters, plots, and relationships. Although HP is a children's book, it is also a book intended for adults. Saying that there has to be a "happy ending", would be as steryotypical as saying that all poems must rhyme. I stand by what I said earlier....Harry will kill Voldemort, and someone else will kill Harry, or Harry may even commit suicide, or something along those lines. :sorcerer:
