In an interview about his new album “Jarvis,”, musician Jarvis Cocker, former member of the group Pulp, mentioned recording songs as the Weird Sisters band in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Quote:
With Pulp records, a lot of times I'd be writing lyrics at the last minute. I did some songs for (the) 'Harry Potter' (films) and we recorded them live. And it was much more fun that way. On several cuts, the first or second take was the best. When people know the song too well, sometimes it takes the life out of it in a weird way.

Jarvis is right, sometimes that´s just the right method of making music for the masses Oh, but seriously, some magic might vanish from the song if rehearsed too much. The players get bored themselves, and it can sometimes be heard. Some songs just are at their best right in the beginning, just like some bands are aswell. Also if you start thinking whether you play a simple song exactly right, it might lose its spirit
