Videos: Rupert Grint, Evanna Lynch on voicing for Deathly Hallows: Part 2 video game
The official EA Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 video game Facebook released several new interview and gaming clips on the making and effects in the game. Rupert Grint and Evanna Lynch, who voiced their characters Ron Weasley and Luna Lovegood, respectively, discussed how the voice-over work compared to shooting the actual film. Those can be viewed below.
Rupert Grint: The games I've always kind of enjoyed, doing the voice of the game. I'm a big game fan; I just never really got used to the fact that I'm actually in the game, that it's me and I'm playing as myself. And it's just weird hearing my voice. I've really enjoyed doing these, it's actually really similar - the script is very similar to the film. There's lots of similarities, it's great to have in the game.
Evanna Lynch: Well, it's very different from the film because I think you have a lot more freedom in the game, because you're not on screen, and you're in a recording studio and can do it again. Yeah, it's good fun. I like how it's interactive with the fans, they're playing with it; it's not all scripted, and you might go a different way and bump into people and stuff like that. So, yeah, it's cool.
Two short scenes, introduced by EA Bright Light Art Director Lee Sullivan and Gary Napper, Lead Game Designer at EA Bright Light, on the chases and spells used in the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 game can be seen here.
The Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II video game, out now, can be ordered via the links below.
It is funny hearing their voice in the game ( don't have it but I've seen walkthroughs and stuff), actually from what I have seen, sometimes they put stuff in the game that I wouldn't of minded being in the movie!
Believe me, it's awful. The games really went downhill after the first few :\ Do yourself a favor and don't buy it. I know, as a HP fan you want to play and see everything HP related, but this won't do it any justice.

I do not agree with that, actually. It's a nice game, only a lot of fights. That was the same in Deathly Hallows part 1. But in part 2 there are more different ways you have to fight. With Death Eaters, Giants, Spiders. If you have Part 1 as a game, I'd say you need part 2 as well. But that's my opinion.

It's basicly fighting only (ever played HP1-2 on PS1 for example? Those are the HP games we need) and the game is riddled with glitches.
