Videos: Rare Alan Rickman interview on Harry Potter series, Snape & Deathly Hallows
In a rather rare interview, actor Alan Rickman opened up about working on the Harry Potter series and his involvement in it as Professor Severus Snape. During the sit-down chat, which took place this past Monday at the Hudson Union Society, Alan explained about what brought him to play the role of Snape, working with Chris Columbus, Alfonso Cuaron, Mike Newell, and David Yates, how much he would allude to in regards to what is left to shoot in Deathly Hallows, and much more.
Alan spoke in particular about Daniel Radcliffe, noting that to this point, he has not shot any sequences with him for Deathly Hallows. He also mentioned having seen Dan on Broadway last year in Equus, and the fact that he now regards his young costar as a fellow grown-up. The videos can be seen below.

I think that was the best interview I've seen Alan give. He is such a good actor and a unique person. Thanks for posting it. He is one of my favorites and I love his voice.
aw, he is so cool.
"it's the last one" LOL
he's nervous about talking in front of three hundred children... how cute.
Love how he talks about the "kids" I would love to have seen him and Daniel Radcliffe having lunch together. I wonder what they talked about in their "grown up" chat.
Mr. Rickman was probably giving his young friend some advice or something along those lines... (I like to think so anyway)
