Videos: New Deathly Hallows: Part I special preview; new cast junket interviews
Several new junket interviews with the cast of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I have been released by Movies.ie - currently, segments with Bonnie Wright, Matthew Lewis, and Evanna Lynch have been uploaded, but will update with interviews with Dan Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson, Tom Felton, and James and Oliver Phelps hopefully throughout the day. For now, here are the first three (we will update as soon as the rest are uploaded).
Tom Felton also discussed his work in Deathly Hallows: Part I with ITV Daybreak. That's below.
In a new interview with WENN, Matt spoke about the stunts and hard work put into some of the battle sequences for Deathly Hallows: Part II:
Quote:
"Neville's been in the wars - quite a lot of blood and bruising and battering. I worked pretty closely with the stunt guys this year, which was great. I loved it.
"It was not something I've done before so it was a really new experience for me. It was great, I felt like James Bond for a bit. I was running through, explosions going off, it was wicked.
"I got one injury, but that was my own fault. I was running at quite a pace and I just skidded about two metres on my knees, so my knees were in a rough state!"
Oliver Phelps opened up about how surreal it was filming Fred Weasley's death, noting that his brother James was paled up for the scene, in the Great Hall for Deathly Hallows with Hero Complex:
Quote:
I had to get myself into that mindset of what it would be like and try to make it feel as real as possible,” Oliver said. “There’s a scene where he’s laid out in the Great Hall, and to look at that, that was really surreal, actually, because they pale him up and everything. For me, it was really quite an odd scene to film, especially because I was supposed to be crying my eyes out, and to do it with the whole Great Hall full of people, as well. It was a different day of filming from anything we’d done before.”
Warner Channel in Latin America will be broadcasting a behind-the-scenes look at the making of Deathly Hallows: Part I on November 14 called Por Trás da Magia, with new clips and interviews with the cast and crew. The official site released a new shot of Dan talking to a reporter; a teaser of the feature can be seen below, courtesy of Oclumencia.
We will have the full segment up as soon as it is online.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be released November 19, 2010, and July 15, 2011. Click on the banner below to pre-order tickets for Part I at Fandango. Tickets are also on sale now in the UK; head over to the Harry Potter official UK Facebook for more information.
