Videos: New Deathly Hallows: Part I frozen lake, Godric's Hollow, 7 Potters features
Three new behind-the-scenes features from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I have been released online, highlighting the making of the seven Potters, frozen lake, and Godric's Hollow sequences. The seven Potters feature shows more of an in-depth making of the shot, which took a record 95 takes to create the final scene; the frozen lake included Ron saving Harry from being nearly strangled by the locket Horcrux underwater, and actually includes a deleted scene after the locket is destroyed, where the two discuss having saved Harry's life (straight from the book); the Godric's Hollow clip detailed more of the action and visual effects used in turning Bathilda Bagshot into Nagini, who Harry fought with in the magical historian's home. Those can all be viewed below.
The Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I Blu-ray and DVD sets, out on April 11, 2011 in the U.K. and April 15, 2011 in the U.S., can be pre-ordered on the WB Shop or Amazon at the links below. A list of international dates for the DVD's release can be found here.
I've only watched the bts footage of the locket scene, pretty incredible and Dan was so sweet about Rupert!!
One question, WHY DID THEY NOT SHOW THE PART OF THAT SCENE THAT WAS LIFTED FROM THE BOOK?! C'MON NOW YATES!! It's bad enough there was no " I love her like a sister" from Harry.
I love these! The frozen lake was the best. It seemed everyone in the movie theater with me reacted to Harry jumping into that freezing icy water! We all felt cold!
Love it. These videos are what I really enjoy. Makes you think on how much it means to the actors after the production is over and view all their hard work.
