The first official trailer for Rupert Grint's Cherrybomb has been released by Generator Entertainment and can be viewed below. This is the approved version, sent by them to us.
Please note: There is quite a bit of strong content throughout the trailer (drugs, drinking, violence, smoking & partial nudity) so watch with caution.
This actually looks interesting. I may watch it somehow. haha

Wow, i didn't think Rupert would be in this kind of movie! In America 'CherryBomb' is very ummm.... gross for a movie title, but I don't know what the meaning of 'CherryBomb' is in England so...
WOW def not pur Ron Weasley that s for sure!! But its cool to see him doing something different- is this coming to the States? If not I will def be watching it on DVD. Looks really intriguing!!
Wow, I love seeing these actors grow and do other things. I just don't want them to always been known as the actors in Harry Potter...they should be known as that and more...
that movie looks interesting is it coming out in the US

The fact it has a trailer means it now has distribution. We just don't know when exactly it will be out. Although I have a feeling it'll probably be somewhere around September.

the whole story line isn't really something every parent would let their kid go see.
I think you can say the same for this. And unlike Equus, this will have an age limit on it (most likely it'll be an R or a 15).

Hopefully, this kind of activity is shown in a negative light so that it's not in anyway attractive to viewers. It's one thing to go away from Potter, but he'll still be a role model (willingly or unwillingly) for his career.
For what it's worth, I don't think the film ends well. However it is just a role that he's portraying. Actors shouldn't be role models in the characters that they play. That'd be way too restrictive in terms of a career.

what's it rated??
It isn't, yet. I'd say it'll either be a 15 or an 18.
Toto * RotiSila * ToRo * Braveheart * Grandma & Mama Tori
*giggles* I agree, this is totally his Equus. Its so, amazingly and totally different from Harry Potter that there is no way, you could go in and picture him as Ron.
I can't wait for this. I hope one of the many man cinema's in Edinburgh/Aberdeen show this, because I will scream if they don't. I can't wait.
OMG!! that looks like SUCH an aweseom movie! i mean, i woulnt have known about it if rupert wasnt in it, but, i think its gonna be good all round, not just what he's in! i want to see it..
Is it me, or did Rupert get even HOTTER?! He used to say how he didn't want to be a romantic lead. But I think it'll suit him just fine! One word: Yum.
Oh...my...gosh...it's...so...aweeeesome!!! I see some great cinematography, some awesome facial expressions and I expect a kick-butt film Rupert was great in Driving Lessons, but this is going to be a very emotionally driven film and I'm looking forward to seeing him act...a lot.

You're absolutely a 100% right. Rupert is his own person, and a different sort of actor from Dan. He deserves his recognition and his praise-separate from Dan.

The trailer seemed pretty interesting, I'm curious to see how Rupert's acting evolves in this movie. It's ofcourse very different from HP and I'm excited that Rupert has come far with his career
And the accent that one can hear in the end is pretty awesome. It does take talent to get that right.
Very awesome
