Video: First look at Pottermore's Ollivander's wand shop quiz, Privet Drive unlock
The BBC released new looks at some of the elements and scenes from Harry Potter and the Philosopher's/Sorcerer's Stone that will be featured on J.K. Rowling's interactive site, Pottermore, including the first look at the questionnaire fans fill out to get their perfect wand from Ollivander's wand shop, which involve information on eye colour, height versus age, and worst fears. New shots of Privet Drive, the first paragraphs of the beginning of the book, and a sneak peek at the Dursleys backstory are displayed, as well. That can be seen, via HarryLatino's tip, below; screencaps can be found in our galleries.
Pottermore is currently scheduled to send out welcome letters to fans who signed up via the Magical Quill challenge last week. If anyone has been accepted into the beta site, please let us know!
We can't wait for our beta access to start. It looks amazing! I was able to get through on day one of the quill challenge, so I will let you all know as soon as I get my letter

I saved the login page to my favorites. When I click, the screen says "Sorry this page has vanished" "Maybe someone has thrown an invisibility cloak over this page because it has completely dissappeared." "Why not go back to the home page?" The words home page has a link back to the Pottermore page.

Yeah I think it means they are not wanting lots of people on the site whilst they do some finishing beta touches on it ready for us! And they took it down, I'm guessing, because there is a link in the welcome mail which is directed to a new log-on page OR they will put it back up only when the emails have been sent.
As for the quiz, I'm looking forward to it I wish it were like 100 questions long I'm definitely, short for my age, and I think I'll need a box that says "Scared of everything". lol... how am I going to chose??
AND I'M SO EXCITED I've just started reading the first book again, and I see that in one picture it has the first paragraph from the book. So do you think they will have the entire book on there and we have to 'progress through it' by reading it? And by reading it, then we will see all the new things, and games etc? Or do you think it will just be snippets of the books/chapters?

omg this site.... it reminds me of the time when the official Star Wars site went up, but Pottermore is cooler since its got the wand quiz and sorting hat quiz, and most importantly, many of the new content came from JKR herself.

It sounds like it could be possible, but I don't think that it has been confirmed by Pottermore, so no it's not guaranteed. I think that people are just speculating... but it does sound logical
