A preview segment for Half-Blood Prince was aired earlier this evening on the CW network in the US, during the film The Game. We have a summary of what was shown in the video, which ran for about half a minute:

Dumbledore and Harry are talking and Harry mentions a girl and says "she's just a friend...." and then they show Harry and Ginny leaning in for a kiss. Next we have Hermione smacking Harry in the library. Then it switches to a scene in a hospital (Ron's poisoning) and Lavender leans over the hospital bed and says "I happen to be his girlfriend". Then it shows a shot of Hermione looking up at the Quidditch stands, smiling really big at Ron (new shot of Ron during Quidditch shown). Next shot that I remember is back at the hospital wing and Hermione responds to Lavender with "I happen to be his friend". You see Harry, Dumbledore, Ginny, Hermione, Lavender, Ron and Snape in this scene. Maybe McGonagall too. Then Dumbledore says "Ah, to be young again..." and then you see Harry smiling really big in the common room.

Besides, why would JKR spend all that time developing R/Hr just to have the biggest cop-out ever in the final book and put H/Hr together? Well this all just IMO lmao.

Haha, yea, I knew prob by the third book that Ron and Hermione would get together. I just personally thought Hermione and Harry were better off. I was hoping that maybe J.K. Rowling would pull the rug from under our feet with that one, like she has gladly done so many times.

I think it was In Harry A History that Steve Kloves, the screen writer, thought that they might end up together. Like she rubs Harrys Head in tent and some other scenes. Either way, no matter how brotherly or sisterly you are, I believe Hermione at one point, in the novels, had feelings toward both Harry and Ron.

Oh, wait! Is the last scene when Ron and Lavander kiss, like, the camreas looking at the other people?

That's cool.

Never really saw them as a possible couple, but I do love their friendship.
