Video: EA Deathly Hallows: Part II video game site updates with cover, promos, specs
The official EA Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II video game website has been updated with the cover art (featuring a new promo shot of Harry), an introduction to the site from Rupert Grint (viewable below), and various new promotional stills. The new images include shots of Harry and Voldemort's final duel, a dreary shot of Hogsmeade on a wallpaper, Hogwarts itself destroyed, and a shot of the trio fighting Voldemort and Bellatrix Lestrange. Those can all be found in high-resolution in our galleries.

UPDATE: The official EA Harry Potter video game Facebook updated with a set of FAQs about the final game.
Quote:
When will the new game be released?
Part 2 is set to be released in the week of 11th July 2011 – the exact day will be different for each country, so please check with your favourite local retailer.
‘What formats is the game on?’
The game is available on Xbox 360™, PlayStation® 3 (with PS Move compatibility), Windows PC, Wii™ and Nintendo DS™.
‘Will the new game be coming out on PS2 or PSP?’
With every game we make, we push the most current generation of console to its limits. Our brand new game engine is very powerful, but in turn requires more power than the PS2 or the PSP can deliver – and we really want to make massive movie magic come to life in the game.
‘Will the new game use PlayStation® Move?’
Yes, you’ll be able to use the PS Move motion controller in the new game.
‘Does the new game use Kinect for Xbox 360?’
No, ‘Part 2’ of the Xbox 360 game hasn’t been developed for Kinect, but there are special side missions in ‘Part 1’.
‘Will there be multiplayer?’
We’ve concentrated on a single-player experience again for this game.
'Is there online play?'
There’s no online play for the campaign, but we do have online leaderboards for the challenge mode on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, where you can compete against your friends or the rest of the world for the top score.
'Is there a demo?'
We didn't build a demo for Part 2 to allow us to focus our development time on creating an epic final game.
'What are the PC specifications?'
We wanted to ensure that as many of our PC fans as possible could experience the game, without compromising on the overall quality of gameplay. Here’s the minimum spec:
Operating System: Windows XP/Windows Vista/Windows 7
Processor: Single Core 2.4GHz or Dual Core 2.0GHz or equivalent
Memory: 1.5GB RAM
Video card: 256MB DX9c compatible graphics card. Geforce 6800, Ati X1600 or better. Laptop chipsets may work but are not supported.
HDD Space: 5.0GB
Soundcard: DirectX 9.0c or higher compliant sound card
DirectX: DirectX 9.0c
'Is the game free-roaming or linear?'
This game offers a massive wizarding world, taking Harry through more environments than ever before, trying to unravel various secrets, avoid capture and protect his friends. In relating the story of the Deathly Hallows, it’s important for us to move the player from point A to point B in order to mirror the fiction. This game is a fairly linear experience and we are offering a number of challenges, in addition to the campaign mode, that will allow you to revisit the exact same environments, but with a full spell arsenal and very different objectives.
‘Will EA make a MMORPG?’
We have no plans for one at the moment, as we remain solely focused on making the ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows™ - Part 2’ videogame the best action adventure experience for you.
The Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II video game, out July 12, 2011, can be pre-ordered via the EA Store links below.

I... it's hard for me to judge on this. From the image of the trio fighting Voldemort, Bellatrix, and Nagini, the character's don't look as realistic as they did as... hm, I want to say either the OOTP or and HBP games? Maybe both? However, the settings (Hogsmeade and Hogwarts) look utterly amazing. Bravo on those. I sincerely hoped they learned from their mistakes during the DH: Part 1 game.
I know, I'm being a hater. In all likelihood, I'll buy it.

They chose the right person to introduce the sight, no mistakes there. I love his smile in the beginning, it looks sort of like the one he did all the time in Philosopher's stone. Or Sorcerer's stone. Hope everyone on the sight is having a fantastic day!
This game is going to be............WICKED!

Your flavour is milk. You're a quiet person and enjoy the peace, but you also
enjoy a bit of something new. You like the unconventional surprises that life
brings. You keep those dear to you close and adore them, as they adore you. ♥
It does look good. I hope they learned from their mistakes. There wasn't a single positive critcal review of part one. I like part one,but not as much as the others. I will buy this, but I hope it's good.
Cool. I can't wait. I really loved the DH1 game. Although for some reason my favourite HP game will always be the COS game. It was always really fun. ;D
I hope this is good, but... I have played many HP games, and while most have looked good graphically, the only one that was any good gameplay wise was the Lego one. So I shall reserve judgment for now on this.
