While touring Hogwarts Castle at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter two weeks ago, Daniel Radcliffe actually addressed the issue of Harry Potter's height, and how he never got to be quite as tall as his fictional counterpart. Quote:
"I didn't get particularly worried because as long as Emma [Watson] and Rupert [Grint] weren't shooting up too quickly either, I'd look [fine]. We'd all look relatively [the same height]. It was all going to be OK," Radcliffe added.

"I was worried on a personal level because I wanted to be slightly taller than I am, ideally," he explained. "But I've now accepted it. Basically, I've came to the conclusion a while ago that you can either be really bitter about it or you can make loads of funny jokes."
"When I meet people now and they all say, 'God you're so much shorter than I expected!' I always say, 'No! I'm actually slightly further away than you think,' " he smiled, adding, "Which confuses them."

i didnt think he would address the height issue until way after the franchise has ended. glad he's game to talk about that.
yet another thing to liken him with Elijah Wood  . good grief if those two ever walk down a sidewalk together people will swear they're brothers.

Oopsie -- I didn't see your post until after I'd made mine. I agree with you; they should play brothers in a movie some time. If Dan can't pull off an American accent, we know Elijah can do an acceptable British.

I think at one time his height did concern him. I am glad to see he has moved past that.
There are many great actors who are Dans height that did very well career-wise.
I am sure Dan will do the same. Dan is his own person and will continue to do well.
Good for him.
