Timothy Spall is to star alongside Sarah Lancashire in a BBC1 TV drama based on a true story. Article: Timothy Spall to be in new BBC1 drama 'Cherished' Timothy Spall, the actor who portrays Peter Pettigrew in the Potter films, is to take on a role in a TV drama, 'Cherished' to be shown by BBC1, which is based on true events. He will play husband to Sarah Lancashire's character, Angela Cannings. The storyline is based on a woman (Angela) who was wrongly given a jail sentence for the murder of children. Quote: Auf Wiedersehen Pet actor Timothy Spall stars as husband Terry in the BBC1 drama, Cherished.
Angela spent 18 months in jail before her conviction for murder was quashed last December.
She was sentenced to life on the evidence of the now discredited paediatric expert Sir Roy Meadow.
He also gave evidence in the trials of Sally Clark and Trupti Patel, both wrongly convicted of killing their children. Source: The Mirror. |

| Sounds interenting. Im not really into dramas especially when they are on BBC1 but maybe i might watch this if there is nothing else on. I'll probably be made to watch BBC1 anyway cause someone will probably be watching the Sky upstairs. So if its on then i might watch it but no guarrentees! |

He did a fantastic job on portraying Peter in the movie...
I don't think that I could have imagined him otherwise...
