| | |  Steve Kloves will return for 'Half-Blood Prince'
In November last year it was announced that Michael Goldenberg would write the script for ' Order of the Phoenix'. At the press conference today it was confirmed that Steve Kloves (the scriptwriter for all 4 Potter films thus far) will return to the franchise for film 6. Quote:
"[Steve Kloves] is a brilliant adapter, in the sense that he is able to retain the voice of the author that he's adapting....He is a fantastic writer, who manages to bring a... who has a keen sense of character, and really understands the voice of the actors. He has written four. He also can write with great emotion, and at the same time, also great humor.
"He is not doing the fifth because he is writing another script for me called The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime, which I hope he will direct. However, he read the sixth book and couldn't stay away, so he's going to come back and write the sixth."
At this, Mike Newell, who had just heard this for the first time, responded enthusiastically, saying, "Oh, great! Oh, that is good."

O, that supprised me. I read somewhere that he would not re returning, so I had expections for a different (probably better) movie, but whats done is done and I suppose that we are going to have to live with the decision, hua?

I'm just well...it's kinda weird they won't give Michael a chance and let him try it out - just like they did with the directors...why can't they try and new one and just forget about Kloves.

You are kidding right? Ah, I thought Super!Hermione had gone down in flames after her self-rightous, Mary-Sue character in PoA failed to attract much empathy from the audience. Why do I have a feeling Hermione will suddenly harness a skill in quidditch, Ron will be an idjit, Harry will take a back-seat, Luna will be a ditz and Ginny will appear in the background of one scene, despite the fact that she is the love interest.

Well if you think about it Steve Kloves does write the dialogue very good but some of the things he does just annoys me soooo much but oh well we will have to see what he does.
