CBBC Newsround is reporting that the roles of Kingsley Shacklebolt and young James Potter have been cast for OoTP. George Harris, who will be playing Kingsley Shacklebolt, has an extensive career in film ( Raiders of the Lost Ark) and televison.
Teenager Robbie Jarvis will be playing young James Potter in the Pensieve scene. He has had stage roles with the East Side Theatre Company.
Filming is set to begin February 5th.

I googled for a photo of him. Then this guy showed up...
They didn't give a name with the pic, but it could be him.
He looked good enough to be cast as young James

yeah where is the picture of young james? I hope he looks a bit like Dan because then he would be a total fake. I thought that Shaklebot was going to be be a little youger to and whos playing young Siurus Black and young Lupin and young Wormtail cause you know there in that scene too.

I don't understand how anyoen could think that dan would play his father, that would be extremely confusing. I mean Harry is wandering around in that scene, so he would himself, taking his exam, and talking with his friends near that tree? Just try to picture that and see how odd that would seem

Woot Woot..he's from Grenada...he's from Grenada...that's great! He looks like Mr.Auror..I mean Shacklebolt too! How tall is he though..I pictured Kingsley very tall ( but not taller than my dear Dumbeldore).

Well I like the fact we've got a West Indian in HP....that made my day!
I think I need to see more of Jarvis though....he doesnt exactly fit my image of what I pictured him to be.

I saw that picture earlier today. I'm not quite sure about him yet. I hope his hair grows a bit. He doesn't look alot like Dan. Or Maybe it's just the angle. He probably looks different with glasses. And who knows how recent the picture is. I'm keeping positive! | |
