Comingsoon.net recently conducted an interview with Rupert Grint in which he talks about his upcoming film 'Driving Lessons', 'Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix' and stardom.

CS: Both in this and in "Potter," you're really good at playing the awkward, uncomfortable type. Is that a natural part of yourself or is that nothing like you really are?
Grint: Slightly. It depends really what it is. Ron finds it really hard to get it on for the dance and Ben is quite awkward with the girls as well. That's something quite similar in both characters, but it's sort of typical teenage behavior, I guess.

CS: How far along are you on the new "Potter" movie?
Grint: The fifth one? We're almost halfway there. We only sort of started, but there's still a long way to go, but it's going really well.

CS: I haven't read the fifth book yet, so does Ron finally get a girlfriend?
Grint: No, not in this one. There's quite a lot happening in this one, and it's a really big book. We got a new director on this one, as well. He's actually a mate of Jeremy's, so that was quite cool.

CS: Do you have a special disguise you wear when you go out, maybe dark hair and glasses, so people don't recognize you?
Grint: (laughs) It's quite hard because my hair's quite long anyway, and long ginger hair stands out quite a bit. It's never really a problem; it doesn't get out of control.

I actually reckon he's very intelligent but he can't quite understand why everyone wants to know about his life. And so he's quite nervous, and doesn't talk very much. If you got him on his own in a fun environment he'd be really talkative. Does anyone else get that feeling about him?

Actually yes. When he's talking about something he absolutely loves or is excited to do, say playing quidditch, he's quite talkative and whatnot. But when he's asked questions that he doesn't really care to answer, he sort of deflects them and is trying to find ways around them. Some of the questions in the CS interview he is very monosyllabic in a way, but other questions he's quite candid. But in the MTV interview, or the Alloy interview, he seems so much more at ease and having fun. He was also like that with the radio interview. He was comical and talkative because he was obviously having fun with it.

I had an awful premonition Rupert was gunna say, "Because Jeremy's ginger too." [Don't know if he is]. I'm willing to bet Julie Walters suggested him. After all, she would've known when Order of the Phoenix would start shooting, plus she's worked with Rupert before, quite closely, as his mother.

Grint: It's a really good fun job. I definitely would like to do it in the future. I want to try to learn to play the guitar. That would be really cool. I play the didgeridoo, actually.

There's a random fact, if I ever saw one. If he doesn't do anymore films or TV [because, personally, I'd love to see him in Doctor Who] then he could release a CD of didgeridoo music!
