Rupert Grint talks working on Jessie Cave's sketches, Postman Pat, Eddie the Eagle
While we did put up the complete set of red carpet interviews with the cast and crew of the Harry Potter series at the Wizarding World theme park in Orlando to promote the DVD/BD release of Deathly Hallows: Part 2, two notable interviews merited their own stories - Rupert Grint and producer David Heyman (whose interview will be up shortly). Rupert here discussed his future projects behind the Harry Potter films, including working on Jessie Cave's Flat White series for PinDippy.com, which Jessie exclusively told us he would take part in, his singing and voice-work for Postman Pat: The Movie, and the status of the Eddie the Eagle biopic. That can be viewed and read here.
SnitchSeeker: I went to the fan panel earlier. Will you miss that?
Rupert Grint: Yeah, in a way I will. Anything happens at these kind of events, and you get tested by the craziest fans, and it's important to the fans and everything. It’s great. I really enjoyed these last few days to meet up with everyone again and being in this amazing place. It’s unreal.
SnitchSeeker: I spoke to Jessie [Cave] yesterday. She said that you’re going to take part in one of her Flat White [series film shorts]. Tell me more about that.
Rupert: Yeah, I think it’s great. I’m a big fan of all the stuff that’s on her site. I think she’s very clever. I think it’ll be really fun.
SnitchSeeker: What part appealed to you? Like wanting to take part with the rest of your co-stars?
Rupert: I’m not sure I can talk too much about the story.
SnitchSeeker: She mentioned you’re going to be one of her “cousins” …
Rupert: Yes, I’m going to be a distant cousin. So yeah, it’ll be really cool.
SnitchSeeker: Can you tell me about Postman Pat. When do you start filming or doing voiceover? And more about your character?
Rupert: I’ve done a bit already, but it’s kind of like a pop American Idol/X Factor storyline there. I do singing (laughs). So it’s going to be really fun. Postman Pat was just a huge part of my life really. I grew up with that show. So, it’s really fun to be a part of that.
SnitchSeeker: What’s the update on Eddie the Eagle?
Rupert:Eddie the Eagle. Yeah, I’m still really keen on it. I love the story and I love the character. I guess it will happen eventually. It’ll just take time in order to get sorted out. Maybe one day it’ll happen.

Through like the whole thing, is it me or are his eyes like sparkling?! He's soooooooo HAWT! I love him! And I couldn't help but laugh when he said: Coulin instead of cousin, poor guy he must of been sleepy!
I hope there will be more before Eddie the Eagle, because I don't think it will happen soon. I do hope he it will be a big Role for him the next filming, he really deserves it to get a Chance.
and I'm looking forward to hear his Singing and the Video from Jessie!
rupert's interview was short and to the point. I have liked his character since the beginning. I always feel for the ones who are not as famous - but they have the strength to hang in there and work their craft.
