| | |  Rupert Grint talks Cherrybomb, kissing Emma Watson & Equus
In a new interview, actor Rupert Grint spoke about having to kiss Emma Watson in Deathly Hallows, his love scene with Kimberley Nixon in Cherrybomb, and how his role in the latter film compares to Harry Potter costar Daniel Radcliffe's work in Equus. Quote:
"As I've known Emma for so long, I reckon it will be 10 times worse," says the 20-year-old actor, who plays Ron Weasley.
"I really love the seventh book, but there is no way it will be tame with the Hermione stuff."
The kiss, which is due to be filmed next month, should have been a walk in the park for Grint after his graphic performance opposite Kimberley Nixon, a 23-year-old Welsh actress, in the forthcoming film Cherrybomb. The actor compares them with the nude scenes that Daniel Radcliffe is currently performing on stage in New York.
"I don't think it's quite up there with Dan's Equus, but it was quite a surreal experience, especially as we were sharing the bed with half a dozen camera crew," he says. "But, yeah, I was quite nervous, I think we both were.
"It was a new thing for the two of us – though, weirdly, I remember Kim and I doing a crossword in between takes. That definitely took our minds off the deed."
He now hopes that Emma, 18, who plays the brainy Hermione Granger, will be similarly distracted. "I'll have a stack of crosswords at the ready," he says.

LOL very cute interview!! I can see him and Emma pulling it off beautifully. Their chemistry is a big reason why I am enjoying the Harry Potters so much more. Obviously the action and adventure and everything else too I enjoy but Ron and Hermione are by far my favs in HP! You two will be fine Rupert and Emma! I think he is the only one of all the cast who hasn't seen the play actually, we know Emma saw it 2 times in London and then she has travelled to NY to see Dan too.
So my point is, I think it's better to not talk about things if you don't really know what it's about, because you can end understimating them. I think Rupert is just talking about the "naked" part of Equus. That might mean that he was also naked in his own movie. That's what it seems like. I've seen Equus.

There is a sex scene in Equus, which Dan was naked for; he's talked about it for ages, but people just focus on the blinding. He does both at the end of the play.
