| | |  Rupert Grint talks Cherrybomb, kissing Emma Watson & Equus
In a new interview, actor Rupert Grint spoke about having to kiss Emma Watson in Deathly Hallows, his love scene with Kimberley Nixon in Cherrybomb, and how his role in the latter film compares to Harry Potter costar Daniel Radcliffe's work in Equus. Quote:
"As I've known Emma for so long, I reckon it will be 10 times worse," says the 20-year-old actor, who plays Ron Weasley.
"I really love the seventh book, but there is no way it will be tame with the Hermione stuff."
The kiss, which is due to be filmed next month, should have been a walk in the park for Grint after his graphic performance opposite Kimberley Nixon, a 23-year-old Welsh actress, in the forthcoming film Cherrybomb. The actor compares them with the nude scenes that Daniel Radcliffe is currently performing on stage in New York.
"I don't think it's quite up there with Dan's Equus, but it was quite a surreal experience, especially as we were sharing the bed with half a dozen camera crew," he says. "But, yeah, I was quite nervous, I think we both were.
"It was a new thing for the two of us – though, weirdly, I remember Kim and I doing a crossword in between takes. That definitely took our minds off the deed."
He now hopes that Emma, 18, who plays the brainy Hermione Granger, will be similarly distracted. "I'll have a stack of crosswords at the ready," he says.

Wait so Rupert had an intimate scene in Cherrybomb as in he was naked and the like? I always wondered how they filmed intimate scenes like that in movies.

As awkward as it will be for the both of them, the Director will more than likely make them do the scene so many times that after a while it wont even matter to them anymore, the awkwardness will go away, and it will be an amazingly jealous kiss for me lol **still thinking about the smoldering gaze from the bed scene from Cherrybomb...drools** lmao!!

With his comments Rupert left it clear he doesn't really know what Equus is about. There's not a bed scene in Equus and there is not sex.
I think he is the only one of all the cast who hasn't seen the play actually, we know Emma saw it 2 times in London and then she has travelled to NY to see Dan too.
So my point is, I think it's better to not talk about things if you don't really know what it's about, because you can end understimating them.

Actually HP4everfan2, there is a sex scene in Equus and technically while there isn't a bed (it takes place in a horse stable probably in hay) they do show them having sex, at least the beginning of it anyway. So your point is kinda pointless now because you've just underestimated yourself.
