The Sunday Mirror is reporting that Rupert Grint's first potential project after the end of the Harry Potter series may be a biopic about Olympic jump-skier Eddie "The Eagle" Edwards. The short article can be read here:

UPDATE: Rupert's representatives have confirmed to us that he has received the script for this project but he is not currently attached to the production.

I must point out though that The Mirror is a tabloid, so it could be a load of codswallop.

If the story is true, is would be intersting to see Rupert do. I remember those Olympics and Eddie skiing. I don't think he made a mockery of the sport. He really wanted to be in the Olympics and be in the competition. Well, we will see what happens with the movie.

That guy is funny. Rupert would be perfect for a movie about him but is he too young? *tries to remember 1988* drop twenty years and he still doesn't look like Rupert. :lol: but he'd be closer in age. This would be neat if it were a Ben Stiller comedy :yes:
