Post Rowling sues Ebay
J.K Rowling, the brains behind the Harry Potter series, is sueing Ebay for selling her books as electronic copies from India. The world famous author has said plenty to make it clear that she will not be producing electronic copies to control piracy.

Rowling's legal advisor, Neil Blair, had this to say:

Over the years eBay has appeared to be unwilling to control sellers on their site offering pirated or forged Harry Potter items for sale to innocent fans. We have asked eBay on numerous occasions to assist by taking preventative steps to avoid these sales - steps that we are aware they can introduce. As these requests were not heeded we had no choice but to seek judicial intervention.

J. K. Rowling has previously warned fans on her own website about the sale of fake signed books and other pirated Harry Potter e-books on eBay.

Why would you want an electronic book 1) Jo doesnt get anything from it (we all love jo) and 2) Its Harry Potter like the best books ever.

I don't understand why E-Bay continues to sell a known illegal product. JKR won the law suit against the group in India in a well publicized case.
