| | Rickman really recommends reading
Alan Rickman (Professor Snape) will be featured next month on a yet-to-be unveiled poster to promote children’s literacy for the American Library Association’s READ program.
You know, I’ve seen those posters in my local library. I’ll have to keep a look out for his!

We spent time here. We made friends here. That's a part of us.
Cause Hogwarts is bigger than any of us, of any of it's founders,
and it's going to be around long after we're gone.
Maybe we'll see our kids come here one day.
That's the thing about Hogwarts.
No matter how long you're away from it, there's always a way back. |

I agree w/ him, reading helps! ( Rickman really recommends reading is a tongue twister) I have the Liam Aiken & Orlando Bloom bookmark, poster & keychain!

I already read loads, a day can't go by where I don't read something, I'd go mad if I didn't! I wonder what his favourite book is?

My library has LOADS of these too (there's one with the Lawrence brothers on it! lol!) ... man, if they post his, I'll steal it! Either that, or I'll be spending lots more time in the library. Lol, for real though, I think it's great that celebrities do this. It is critical that kids learn how important it is to read at an early age - there are far too many older people who hate reading, and I know that impacts the rest of their lives too.
If only other people saw in reading what we see!

I think these posters are pretty awesome. I wish I could hang them up in my grade school's library, because not enough kids there read. A handful of kids there do read, including a fellow member on SS. But I know next year when I start high school, it gets really competetive acedemically, so there will be kids there constantly reading, and all reading different types and genres of books. I just think it's interesting.

It's awesome that the stars promote reading. Most children hate reading becuase they believe TV most interesting thing. They do not even imagine what can be found in a book
