| | Reports, pics & vids from the Edinburgh HBP release
Various reports, pictures and videos from the 'Half-Blood Prince' release at Edinburgh Castle, Scotland on July 16th. Yahoo. Quote:
Excited, I am excited," Rowling, 39, dressed in a black dress and black jacket, told a group of reporters as she was ushered along a red carpet, stretching to the castle.
"There are a lot of answers in this book," she said, above the noise of the crowd, packed into chairs and behind barriers.
"I can't wait for everyone to read it," she said, adding that she had left a copy of the book with her daughter.
"When I left her she was laughing at something," Rowling added.
Pictures from the release party (and others around the world) can be seen here.
Further pictures can be seen here.
Videos of J.K.Rowling introducing the sixth book and reading from it can be viewed here and here.
More videos and pictures can be viewed here.

That means she probably got to read it a few wee minutes before the rest of us. Can't think what she was laughing at.
Jo looked awesome didn't she? She is so beautiful. I watched her arriving; the castle looked magnificent. Just watching it on TV gave me goosebumps.

My favorite is the middle aged men that dress up like Harry... NOT THAT THERE'S ANYTHING WRONG WITH THAT... Thanks for the pictures!

As for JKR, she always looks stunning and I imagine she was a lot less stressed now that the book was being released and she didn't have to worry about leaks and such.

We spent time here. We made friends here. That's a part of us.
Cause Hogwarts is bigger than any of us, of any of it's founders,
and it's going to be around long after we're gone.
Maybe we'll see our kids come here one day.
That's the thing about Hogwarts.
No matter how long you're away from it, there's always a way back. |

I agreew ith HermionePotter89.. I think everyone went crazy when they got the book! I know I did. When the store handed it to me at midnight, I grabbed it and didn't let it go until I was finished reading it... lol
I wish I could've been at Edinburgh on July 16!
