One magazine, a French publication, recently ran a behind-the-scenes feature on Half-Blood Prince, in which they mentioned Regulus Black flashbacks. Quote:
"In these flashback scenes, we will also see how Regulus Black, Sirius' younger brother, was enlisted by the Death Eaters and how he was killed by Voldemort."

It just annoys me when the change/ add something when they cut out so many good scenes that could play out beautifully (and are usually my favourites).
But I am just biased because I don't think I will ever be happy with what they do with the films. They could never really do it justice the way I would want.

I'm gonna go with....no, he doesn't. But that's what prosthetic makeup is for. Heck, we already saw them change the way Sirius was killed, and I've lost count of the other changes made, why bother making a fuss anymore? It's obvious the fans don't matter to them.

I am getting some really bad vibes, especially if they are putting anything about Regulus in HBP, per se and not just his initials. That means they are already changing DH and that is really scary!! If they are adding things from DH to fill up HBP, what are they going to leave out of the 2 parter?
I really don't like it when they change the storyline completly

I really don't like it when they change the storyline completly well to me, i welcome that they've started adding DH stuff into HBP. thats the problem with HBP the book, although its storyline about the half blood prince is interesting, if you step back and look at the entire saga of Harry Potter from books 1 to 7, HBP felt like it was a waste of page leaves because Harry basically achieved nothing in terms of what he has to accomplish for DH, and in turn the DH book felt cramped and rushed despite its 700++ pages.

Couldn't agree more - if it wasn't for Draco, Quiditch and H/G sub plots in the HBP book it would have been a bit boring but wouldn't have progressed the story at all except giving a lot of background info. DH despite being called the endless camping trip by some is still quite hectic tying up 7 books worth of plot lines.
Just because the PS/SS & COS books were short enough to be screenplays doesn't mean that all subsequent books can be or should be translated to film verbatim.
