'Reel Time' interview with Phoenix producer & director
 

In July, Harry Potter producer David Heyman and Order of the Phoenix director David Yates were interviewed on radio program “Reel Time,” of XM Radio’s Cinemagic station. In the 38 minute-long interview, the pair discuss, among other things, striking a balance between the political, emotional and scary scenes in the film, the casting process for new characters, and how Yates initially thought he blew his chances to direct on his very first interview with Heyman. Yates also compares his directorial style against the directors of the past Potter films and discusses in detail the editing choices he made for the film.
